If you go to Canada, you will mostly see Punjabi people there. I don’t know why Punjabi people have become so obsessed with Canada. They mostly refer to going to Canada. They don’t even work properly or look for jobs in India; they just prefer going to Canada. I don’t know what kind of jobs they get there. Some of them go there depending on relatives, and some go illegally, which is completely wrong. Because I want to say one true thing about Indian people: there is very little civic sense in India. Yes, if they belong to the upper class, then they may have some civic sense, but in the lower and middle class, civic sense is very low. That’s why wherever they go, they behave the same way they think, without caring that they are in another country. They don’t care about respecting that country or adjusting to its culture. Instead, they try to impose their own culture everywhere. They want to create their own space everywhere and put their own things everywhere. But if foreigners come to India and live here permanently, they just do their work and live normally. Even if they do something publicly to promote their own culture, Indians will immediately go against them. But I haven’t seen the same reaction outside. People there should also oppose this; otherwise, Indians will really spread everywhere in the same way.

I live in a city called Chilliwack, in BC. In the last 5 years I almost don’t recognize the city I grew up in anymore. The demographics have flipped. Entire plazas are now Indian food restaurants or pizza places, all owned and staffed them by. It used to be every fast food place here was staffed by teenagers or retired seniors, now virtually every single fast food place is staffed by a 30-50 year old foreigner. During the covid BS, they kept aggressively pumping in more and more of them. You go up to cultus lake in the summer, or Harrison Lake and it is like you walked into India. They blast their crappy music on stereos while 30 of them sit on a blanket, littering, starring. We had to get up and leave our spot at the beach last summer because 5 of them (men) came to sit behind us and they all just stared at us. It’s like the ones they’re pumping in have zero concept of first world norms. No self awareness, and no desire to inter-grate into our society and learn our language. It’s unbelievable what has happened, what our politicians are doing.

Hey Tyler. I live 4 hours north of Brampton. Our city has become brown town of the north. My daughter has been working since she was 15. Every summer she goes to manitoulin island and works then comes home. This year she can not find a job because all the Indians have taken the jobs. I love diversity, but this is getting out of hand. Indian and Japanese here, I know this may come off as a little racist to my own culture, but Indian people are the most insufferable people on the planet. I’m grew up in Brampton, born here to immigrant parents who came in the 90s. The new generation of immigrants have really created a bad image for Indians here, I will encounter all kinds of racism online or in real life, and the hatred is real. I wish it wasn’t so, but Brampton and for that matter the GTA is not equipped to handle these many people. Then you get the sheer number of illegal rooming houses, fraud, general disrespect for the norms and traditions of Canada from the newer generations of immigrants it just really paints a bad picture of Indian people. I hope things can change and both Indians and Canadians can live together and foster mutual respect for each other, but we are a long ways away

It's gotten to the point where if you want a job you need to work for yourself. They're even taking jobs in the trades so now people are having to work for themselves under-the-table and launder their money the average median income in Canada is anywhere from $45000 to $50000 a year the average house costs $673,335 the average household only makes $80000 a year i used to dream about having my own home and starting a family now I just hope I can find an apartment for less than $2000 a month that isn't owned by a slum Lord living in Toronto that's bought the property without ever even being to Smiths Falls a day in their life.

It’s not their country. Immigrants are typically highly educated and pay Canada exorbitant amounts of money to move here and/or go to school here. They also take a loss because most of the time their university degrees are not recognized in this country. They swallow their pride and take jobs beneath them. Immigrants bring value to this country. They’re extremely intelligent and hard working. In my 34 years living here not once have I seen ANY Indians or Africans in shelters or on the streets.
