This video is horrible. I don't know what political angle is, but the real problems are very well known and have nothing to do with what you said. First, housing is incredibly difficult to build in Canada because of regulations and land title problems, I.e., you don't own that land, the indians do. On top of that, there is a constant influx of immigrant that require housing that doesn't exist. Children cry because they cannot leave their parents' houses because they can't move anywhere, so they can't find any jobs locally, and they're trapped. There is no will in the canadian government to change these immigration policies, to change the land rules so that people can own land and build houses, or do anything about their incredibly micro managed economy that makes it impossible to do anything. If so, yeah, they go to the US to have a future while Canada stagnants and dies.

I almost moved to the US with my parents when I was a kid but was crying because I didn’t want to go. I am so glad that we didn’t move there. We don’t want to go there for many reasons, free healthcare, a good education system because we pay our teachers well and have good quality teachers, we don’t carry guns and don’t want them, thereby our streets are safer. We don’t have mass murders, school killings and all that fear. We don’t have the racial and ethnic prejudice that there is in the US. I have travelled a lot for my company and personal to the US. I was scared and didn’t feel comfortable at all. We know so much more about US geography and history and the US knows nothing about us. Complete ignorance. Well I have no plans to ever visit again. I love our people, our freedom and our culture. We are nothing like the Americans (sorry). I am staying in my beautiful country! I feel safe and happy here! While I do not condone what she did I also do not agree that buying housing as an investment should be allowed either. If this country had a surplus of housing then investment could be allowed. However this is not and has not been the case. This is one reason why many Canadians can not afford to purchase housing. Invest in something that does not hurt the economy and those around you. If you invest in housing and loose don't come crying to me. You took the risk, like any other investor and lost. That's the game. Now you want my tax dollar to bail you out.

Funny how I sat with a Canadian elderly person who looked me in the eye and told me how lazy Canadian youth are and crying that immigrants are getting their jobs when in reality it’s either they don’t have the actual qualification or do not want to work the job. As an employment coordinator, I have received so many Canadians under 35 years of age who want me to help them look for a job but then after all the effort I put in they just send a long message telling me they don’t think they are mentally ready or physically ready or if they are worthy or good enough hence the reason they just want to quit and not get a job anymore.
