Trump is a big mistake for American. After 4 years in office, US will regret voting Donald Trump.\nThis is not the way to make US great. Imagine putting fights in all ur allies. That is a wrong fight. Change ur useless policies or US will go down in history from great nation to isolated nation. No nation can suceed alone. America is great today because of other nations. Time will tell

as a Canadian, i would like to thank Donald and Elon for their plans to implement the most innovative degrowth agenda imaginable. why dance around the edges like Canada has with its consumer carbon tax that rebated more money to most citizens than they spent on carbon taxes ? no, the DOGE solution to addressing climate change is much better .. just cripple the three north american economies with tariffs, put hundreds of thousands of citizens out of work, and make the Trump tax cuts permanent so that the federal government is broke as well. no more money means no more spending or consuming .. it's a win for the entire planet !!

What Donald trump wants is to put Mexico and canada to go bankrupt so he can invade both countries to still their minerals and still the two countries this pig is more dangerous than anyone can imagine that’s why he’s working with putin so both can corrupt the world .. if the USA doesn’t do anything soon there is going to be a catastrophe and if there is a war i want all the trump supporters to be infront of the line fighting this war

I think Canada is the best partner you can have. Unfortunately, I fear that Trump has no interest in good relations with civilized partners, whether in America, Europe or worldwide. I can well imagine that he is pursuing completely different goals - Moscow is probably just a foretaste ... . Stay strong!

Those tariffs are such a stupid thing to do... for every country they are doing this, USA is basically making the chinese products so much more appealing for them. It would be MUCH cheaper to exchange those products for chinese ones instead of paying the tariffs. Congrats Trump, you are so afraid of China that you are actually EXPANDING its influence on the world. \nChina has actually the chance of doing something really funny now: REDUCING tariffs for those affected by Trumps actions. What the vast majority of people imagined was that the day the United States went to war, it would be with its worst enemies, Russia, Iran, North Korea. Almost no one imagined that the United States would declare war on friendly countries and trading partners. Of course, it is a trade war, but it could escalate into something much worse. Nothing should be ruled out, we have already seen that anything can be expected from Trump and his entourage.

The speech of Mr Trudeau, the way Canadians have shown solidarity for one another, today it all puts my country, The US, to shame. I am ashamed of what my government is doing and I am disgusted with the people doing it. In Mr Trump’s first term, as eclipsed as they were by the many many many actions and attitudes he imposed on us that embarrassed and hurt us as a country, there was the rare occasional decision I could at least understand even if I did not support it. Since taking office literally not one thing he has done has made sense to me as an American. I can only say how sorry I am for what the country I love is being used to do to you all, especially our closest allies and friends and in particular the people of Canada today. I grew up in Commerce Twp Michigan. I visited Canada regularly and, even as crime from Detroit poured across the border into Canada, Canadians always treated us with respect and welcome. I never imagined that would stop but now I find it hard to imagine how it might continue and it breaks my heart.

I think it is important to note how much governments complain when they get taxed but how much they also complain they aren't taxing their people even more. Imagine if the people got this upset Everytime they were taxed. And if he wants to fight russia in wwiii he is welcome to go to russia and get it started rather than negotiate peace. America loves life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. That's why we elected trump and LOVE everything he is doing. We wish more loved that too like us.

We are all living in strange times! The bad guy (Putin) is defended like he’s the good guy and the victim (Zelensky) is criticized like he’s the aggressor. This is so weird and negative like an episode of the Twighlight Zone! I think I can understand how Trump is viewing things. Bill O’Reilly seems to know how Trump thinks. Nevertheless, things are upside down! USA voting at the UN with North Korea and Putin and Belarus and against the EU and UK and NATO alliance nations … against the victim Ukraine? This is unheard of! Yet this is so ironic because Leonid Brezhnev, who was the USSR leader, when Russia invaded the sovereign nation of Afghanistan, and Vladimir Putin was a young KGB agent at that time, working for Brezhnev, is now in his position as leader, and he invaded Brezhnev’s sovereign homeland of Ukraine. Brezhnev must be weeping from hell and regretting his invasion of Afghanistan! Crying from hell, seeing his servant, Putin, in his seat of authority, and invading his homeland like he did to Afghanistan, I’m sure Brezhnev regrets but it’s too late now. He’s burning in hell and he can’t get out of hell! \n\nThe bad deal that Clinton and Yeltson and John Major dealt to Ukraine in the 1990s when they moved all of her nuclear weapons to Russia was like declawing the Ukrainian cat and now the cat can’t defend herself against aggressors because she has no claws to defend herself from aggressive attackers!\n\nCanada and Mexico are our friends not our enemies! China and North Korea still idolize the USSR/CCCP flag and Soviet Union hammer and sickle. Putin is a thug and gangster like Joseph Stalin. Everyone forgot what happened to Alexander Litvinenko except for those like John Bolton. \n\nWe are all living in perilous times! The wrongdoer (Putin) is called good and the victim (Zelensky) is called bad! This is so negatively bizarre and wrong! Isaiah 5:20 warns against this! Putin is not pure evil but he’s definitely not a good guy! He’s a gangster and thug like Al Capone! I think President Trump is walking on a tight rope by trying to make a good deal with Putin. And that tight rope spans from one high rise building to another - the senate and house chambers of the US legislature. The midterms are coming soon and if President Trump loses the house and senate, that tight rope could snap! And all those shock and awe executive orders etc. could come back to haunt him like a boomerang thumping his head.\n\nNever in my wildest imagination would I ever imagine Canadians harboring bad feelings towards the USA! This is 180 degrees opposite of how things were when Ronald Reagan and Brian Mulroney were in the political arena!

I see a LOT of emotions here in the comments from people who like to tout where they're from for some really weird reason. I imagine to represent the soap box they stand upon. I find it ironic people are giving underhanded insults to Donald Trump by comparing how Trudeau speaks, yet I can almost guarantee those same people brag about how they refuse to listen to a word Donald Trump says. So its a really silly way to try to insult someone. Also just checked some of my stocks daily returns. Up over 2%. So he was wrong within the first 10 minutes. I suspect the market will become more bullish as some of the companies that have made deals to create factories in the US complete them and start churning out products made locally.

This is an example of what a world leader SHOULD look like. Canada's prime minister gets straight to the point unlike Trump. If the world is already this bad under Trump's presidency, imagine 3 more years of this.

Making friends out of enemies and enemies out of friends. Trump's more incompetent than I could've ever imagined.

Why doesn't someone just come out and say it. What does Putin have on Trump to get him to do all these things. And to think a few months ago he was so low in the polls and so unpopular he decided to step down to give his party a fighting chance in the next election. Just imagine if Joe Biden had shown that same kind of leadership. We may not have a second Trump presidency to deal with.

I’m an American. I admire Canada as an Ally and neighbor. I can’t imagine a better international neighbor to have. The people there are kind and strong. The Trump administration is single-handedly trying to tear down alliances. To what end? Most likely self enrichment. I’m hoping for a normalization of relations as soon as possible. I don’t want a trade war, or any kind of war with Canada. ?? ??

This baffling behaviour by Trump and his administration is sinister. He is dismantling the NATO alliance which is the main defensive safeguard against a malevolent Putin regime. He focuses on Ukraine, a victim of naked aggression, as the party which needs to make concessions. No criticism is levelled at the Putin regime. Russia could not imagine behaviour more favourable to them .\nBut furthermore, Trump appears to be diminishing the USA in terms, not only of economic power, but also reputation, international respect, military status and World influence. \nOne wonders whether Trump is deliberately doing this as part of his allegiance to Putin? Is he in fact a Russian asset? He could not be more successful if her were so?

Imagine how bad things must be that Trump made me side with Trudeau. I really hope you americans understand the damage your „president“ is causing and will cause to the world. That goes for your lapdog vicepresident too.

The world is going crazy, or I should say Trump is going crazy. There is something wrong with Trump. Republicans have to act.
