Brilliant speech and strong actions. As an Australian I support Canadians in their fight for justice and fairness. I doubt however that the bulk of Americans or Donald will take any notice of this speech.

We, Canadians, are going to be fucked 100%. Like Ukranians. Trump wants to crush Canada until it bends its knees.....he intimidates, coerces and extorts. We are living in an extremely serious moment, and it has only just begun. 75 million people voted for him. If there was a new vote today, he would still win. The United States wants a strong, loud-mouthed president who will crush the past and reinvent a new world. the rest is to follow. If it wasn't so brutal and frightening, it would be fascinating.

As a Canadian, I would like to thank every people from the USA against this madness from the Pumpkin Clown, Vancy the puppy, Lutnick the Dwarf and their circus crew. Thanks also to everyone else around the world also against this madness. As for the stupid ones supporting Trump... who cares about you? As an American, I wish I was a Canadian at this time. I don't stand by the T admin... They are all insane. The Prime Minister's speech was so articulate, smart, and compassionate. He doesn't sound harsh but strong and confident. And not anti-American but empathizing with American citizens. Not sure why these CNN folks used those words.

As a US citizen who has lived within 5 miles of the Canadian border, worked for Canadian employers, and had many Canadian friends, I have always known them to be quietly strong people. This just strengthens my conviction. I am so glad SOMEONE will stand up to the tyrant who has stolen my nation.

I have never been so ashamed to be an American ? It’s like Trump is trying to hurt as many innocent people as he can. He is abusing nice people like the Canadians and Prime Minister Trudeau. He is hurtful to the Mexicans and immigrants as well. I was so angry with the way the Trump administration ganged up on and bullied the nice, strong Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. I have trail cameras everywhere that pick up people crossing the border all the time in the United States from Canada. We’ve seen it. It’s everywhere all over the state. As a Brazilian, i don't know why Canadians are still trying tho deal with America. It's clearly not a democratic government. Brazil and Canada has dealt for so long, it's time to increase this. I have to confess I don´t know much about the actual canadian politics. But this reaction of Mr. Trudreau was very impressive. As a german European I know we are together in this completely insane situation initalised by the pathetic performance of the Trump administration.
