Hatchet job articles and videos from highly partisan, pro-conservative rags like nat-post still ask, when will Trudeau fix the problem?\n\nDon't be fooled. These rags have succeeded and killed the liberal government. What they should be asking is, why does the incoming PM, PP still aggressively support mass immigration, limitless foreign students, and temporary foreign workers in cringe-worthy rally after rally? Especially those for a specific ethnic diaspora. \n\nWell, of course, we're supposed to ignore that just long enough to get him elected and then..... what? I guess they just make things worse as promised? Of course.\n\nThere is no daylight between cons and libs on this issue. Both are totally bought and corrupted by the corporate interests, which depend on mass immigration to keep suppressing Canadian wages and inflating asset bubbles.

“British were told for centuries to go back to their own country by those they colonised”. No they wasn’t, they had their hand out asking to be higher up in the improved systems the British elites created. Also, the colonial actions of historic British elites and governments have nothing to do with the views of working class brits today. They did not represent nor include the working classes in their decision making. Universal suffrage for working class men only came in 1919 so don’t peddle this old trope that the British were everywhere (and now it’s ironic that they tell others to get out of their country) when it was an elite minority which the majority could not make decisions about. The working class brits of today have a right to hold the view that we should stop immigration. The elites who are verifiably hereditary beneficiaries of colonialism do not and your trope actually stands up when it comes to them.

Instead of blaming these people, one must question their own government authorities who make the rules and legislation to facilitate this. Maybe it's just the truth of a desperate Canadian economy that needs immigrants to keep fueling the 'aging' Canadian economic engine. These people come in and work hard, odd jobs (not to mention the exceptional skilled ones as well like Doctors, health care workers etc.) which the regular Canadian wouldn't do. I've been in Canada for 2 years without a Family doctor. Thank God, the last 10 different Doctors I met were all fresh immigrants and came to my rescue. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. Where are they to serve you? Where are the so called patriotic 'original' Canadian Doctors'? They are off to US to earn more money. U think they care enough for their home country?\n If Canada won't, somebody Else will accept these people. Hence get rid of ur ego and attitude, it's YOU that needs immigrants more than they need you ?? \nLastly, don't forget your ancestors too arrived here in ship loads from Europe as immigrants, taking away the land belonging to the native Indians who were slaughtered and today live as prisoners in reservation lands... on their own soil. If i start a legal business, and tomorrow government policy makes it illegal, i can’t tell the government to let me continue with the business, which is now illegal, just because i am already invested. \n\nThere is inherent risk in everything, and these protesters took that risk without much calculation. \n\nIf Canadian govt. gives in, it’ll set a really wrong precedence. Canadians should ask themselves this…how many Indians move to Brampton and collect welfare? Looks like Indians own the businesses in Brampton. That is immigration at its best. Indians appear to add to the economy and prosper. In US Mexican immigrants come to take welfare. Make babies, not get married as then man’s income is part of household and less $$from government, and collect WIC, food stamps, housing subsidies and monthly welfare checks. WTH? uS is buckling under this f*ck*ery. US will give Canada two Mexicans for every one Indian. Be careful what you wish for!

The crazy thing is that some Canadians still have faith in Trudeau's party or just have too much trust in the government that they can turn this around. I want to see this country prosper but every few months I just keep on seeing new policies that the current government makes that just doesn't make sense.\n\nFew things to mention\n- No more investment in more roads by the federal government (I understand they want essentially to have citizens use cars less but they haven't provided a plan on how that money would be invested? I have yet to see trains being invested to connect cities such as High speed rail?)\n- Increased carbon taxes (most premiers were against this but they negged it on)\n- proposal and voting for Increasing taxes on capital gains (impact business that invest in Canada)\n- This is a positive thing but also happened because they polls went to the dump (increased investment in housing) and then decrease foreign student admission for future years ( I think this is where liberals say they have hope, but it's at a point where they messed it up and now are trying to fix it to make it look like they are fixing someone else's mess\n- The government is also just adding more policies we can't afford such as Dental plans for certain incomes, food in schools while the free health care doesn't really feel worth the taxes when the quality is not there. ( This is how they want to be the good guys when the conservatives need to cut costs to help resolve this mess)\n\nThe liberals are kind of like that guy in the family that takes a loan, pockets some money for corruption, then gives money away to charities saying I'm the good guy, and then doesn't know how to pay the loan back so asks for their family to help fund the debt.

Now the Funniest thing is , Who is asking these people to stay in Brampton, If they are bothered about seeing Indian people every where then they should be asking the Trudeau government, Not getting vexed with immigrants who make a legal entry into the country

The real problem are politically slanted channels like this one. Don't get your panties in a twist: nothing in this video was a lie. Nothing not true. But like far too much now, it simply seeks to project a vibe to capitalize on the feelings of its targeted audience. Immigrants, drugs and big government, oh my. Is that really all there is to this though? Are your feelings that there are too many immigrants or the simplicity of a solution such as just lowering the price really all there is to it? Ask yourself: what role does the government play in prices that are too high? Does the city of Toronto own the buildings or set the prices? Who does? If the government came in tomorrow with the military and took ownership of all of the buildings and single family dwellings in order to lower their prices and repurpose the land more efficiently for denser urban housing at lower prices, how would you respond to that? Or should the government spend all of the money they are making to buy up properties at market value and then rebuild for more efficient, cheaper and denser housing? What would your response be to that? Immigrants: there are too many. Is it that simple? What would the population of Canada look like in 20 years with just the birth rate of non-recent Canadian citizens (ie no immigrants from the past 15-20 years)? That there is a problem is obvious. Playing on the feelings of group A or group B, showing them the things they fear and presenting it as something everyone does not already know while deliberately ignoring other vital parts of the problem is predatory at best. Your feelings, opinions and gut will solve nothing. Blinding yourself to entire parts of broken systems will solve nothing. Videos and channels like this seek only the engagement that the algorithm demands. It will only deepen the mistrust between citizens and their fellow citizens and citizens and the government, that is, their fellow citizens that have been elected to be said government (not some invading outside force beyond all control) and increase the polarization of groups in an already strained society. It will solve nothing.

I moved to Canada as a child with my parents 41 years ago. It isn't just inflation and cost of living that is the problem. It's the dramatically increasing racism and discrimination, even against people who have been living in this country longer than the racists discriminating against them. Seriously? This is not the Canada that I came to as a child, grew up in, or have lived and worked in for many decades. I made the mistake of working around the world for a short time and picking up an accent that wasn't even mine originally. I had a Canadian accent before finishing elementary school. To come back to be asked to go home or 'we don't want your sort here' is not just simple racism, but hatred that makes me regret ever having agreed to taking on Canadian citizenship. My kids and grandchildren have Canadian accents and were Canadians from birth. But should they leave and return to the same crap??? What disgusts me more is that the PM dares to include immigrants with refugees, under the banner that 30% of the population are immigrants. Under the law, refugees are temporary migrants and usually nothing more. To bundle immigrants who came to Canada through legal means of applications, brought hundreds of millions dollars into Canada with them of their own hard-earned money from their own countries, to have it taxed out of them, and their families deliberately put into poverty so Canada can fulfil its 19th century-PM Macdonald immigration policy of, and I quote from a Canadian federal government website, quoting PM Macdonald directly, about breeding out the Indigeneous people, is beyond sick! The refugees get a free ride at the expense of hard-working Canadians, 90% of whom came from immigrant stock! What happens when Trudeau says these deceitful lies about legal immigrants is that the racism and discrimination increases dramatically. I have been left in agony in hospital due to evil racist Canadians who thought that my accent meant that I had just flown in yesterday and what right did I have to be there? Police refused to charge a neighbor whose son was threatening the life of my grandchild because the neighbor works for the CRA! Other people have the same complaints. Democracy? What democracy, oh, and please spare us Mr. Trudeau the claim to be a constitutional monarchy, when most don't want the monarchy as a head of state for Canada! I have been honored to have known, still know, and will know in the future, many good, hard-working, caring and decent Canadians, but Mr. Trudeau, can you explain to me, how many of those were actually of immigrant stock and how many have forgotten where their families came from? Canada used to be a good country, but when a person has to keep explaining where they got their job experience from and if they have any Canadian experience for every time that they look for a job in their lifetime in Canada, something is very wrong with Canada. Most jobs in Canada are blue collar and very few are white collar, yet Canada still continues to deceive the world into believing otherwise. Canada is a great vast and beautiful land, but only a small percentage of it has any infrastructure, roads, or homes sufficient to house what is a decreasing fraction of society. Refugees take preference over immigrants and citizens alike. The lie about the homeless is getting bigger. Most homeless Canadians today are veterans, elderly, disabled, mentally ill, poor, and professionals and trades people, yet Canada brings in countless professionals, claiming that their education and experience will get them into the professions that they are coming from. It's all a scam! Canadian education is not the best and yet people with better educations and job experience are being forced to spend all their money to go back to university or college to get jobs that they rarely will be hired for. Canada is not short of doctors, just short of professionals who hire professionals without using discrimination, hatred and racism for their HR kit! Many taxi drivers are doctors, engineers, and so on. So, please stop lying to the world and tell the truth. And no doubt this entry will be taken down because it offends a Canadian who doesn't want the world to know the truth.

Nice video. I watched it as I like to learn from other perspectives.\n\nI was born in Toronto, and I must say, this “no time for life and fun” is a new thing. This lack of access to health care is a new thing. I agree with your assessment. It now seems lonelier in Toronto. \n\nCanada used to be different because anyone with a good job could afford at least a condo, but life became unaffordable not just for immigrants, but for everyone unless you are in your 50s-60s and own a home. \n\nI have friends working double jobs supporting family back home in other countries, but for some of them the family back home sound like they are doing better than them and own a home. It’s like they are sacrificing their life to be in poverty or full of hardships and their families get to go out for dinners and drinks with friends. Not them. Not true for everyone, but for some yes and I worry about their own retirement because retirement in Canada without lots of savings means you might be homeless or forced to live with family even if it’s not your preference. \n\n without investments and savings, it will be hard to beat inflation. Getting into debt and getting bad credit can mean not getting an apartment. \n\nThe birth rate is going down because it is expensive to have kids and income isn’t enough to match with living costs. Getting help from government is really not something everyone gets access too. One person might get housing support, 10 others may get nothing. Different governments offer different things. Programs end and change often. \n\nIn Canada definitely bargain and shop around for good phone plans. one idea is to get a pay as you go until “Black Friday” then every year or two when your good offer expires there will be many others. It’s the time with the best deals saving almost half. For instance, I have 50 gigs for $25 for two years from a large provider. Telephone companies are the one place where people must bargain and even ask for better deals as a must.\n\nThe people you see living in big houses, will have kids that can’t afford the same. This is because prices keep rising. The system protects the very rich, but will also drain the middle class often within 1-2 generations. Do not link your business to your personal finance, or creditors can take your home. Some not knowing this lose everything and rich people know better. \n\nPeople live until they are very old, so inheritance is pretty much meaningless to rely on, so no matter what your parents have you must hustle in life. \n\nI do think Canada can become what we want over time. Citizens need to fight the trend of great community spaces, restaurants and bars going out of business and dumb corporations move in with bad boring restaurants. Like a McDonald’s where maybe a popular cultural hang out was. \n\nPart of the problem is a lack of mixed income housing areas, so it’s hard to stay living where you grew up. Artists and musicians help make a city great, but many cannot afford to live here.\n\nFamilies and communities staying together means more support for those with young kids and older relatives when they need help. Yet how is this possible in a city that is always pushing out lower income people when wealthier people desire the area. \n\nIn Toronto, every time you move you have to take what is available and that might mean moving an hour away from everyone you know. This weakens communities. Plus, if you live too far from your work you will have no time to socialize for most the week due to travel time. \n\nI think those who grew up in Toronto do have a certain culture of acceptance with others from many cultures, because your friends at school were from all over. But with new migrants sometimes it isn’t until the second generation that their social circles get diverse. This can be isolating and it’s even isolating as those from Toronto eventually leave dreaming of staying in one spot and not forced to move constantly when a landlord investor sells every house you move into. \n\n\nToronto really needs to protect affordability of housing for at least some housing in every section so that people can save money if they live in the city, and not have to leave their communities and be far from their friends and family. \n\notherwise eventually people get sick of the hustle and it’s too tiring to travel 1+ hrs each way to visit someone during Monday to Friday. \n\n20 years ago any professional could at least buy a condo. Not today. There is too much competition now and investors are allowed to buy up all the most affordable housing that once was a pathway to owning a home. \n\nRich policy makers got greedy and destroyed canada and hopefully diversity in leadership will help make Canada better. But they perhaps people knew to Canada can reject this lonely structure and help us rebuild Toronto into an amazing place. \n\nWe need to make sure everyone can afford housing with 30% of their income. I think that will help

Country were you pay tons of taxes, but you don’t get good medical care, they make you wait and don’t have enough medical staff to help people.\n\nYou get underpaid, the salaries don’t keep up with cost of living.\n\nA country where you don’t elect your prime minister. It is just the clown that happens to be the leader of the party that gets more seats in the parliament.\n\nAlso you need to ask for government permission even for doing stuff in your own property. It’s a scam for sure I’ll be planning my escape from Canada before I get too old and break a bone in the winter because I slipped on ice I didn’t see because the city didn’t clean the sidewalk properly.

Until 2020 (pandemic), most lifelong Canadians would have proudly & quickly said Canada is a great place. For multiple generations (young & old). It still is in many ways. But like all countries, a bunch of things have made life more difficult lately. \n \nDuring the COVID lockdowns, many people went wild wanting to buy a house (urban & rural). Increasing demand and rising prices. Not long after, inflation caused mortgage rates especially to rise. Rent costs soared too. People interested in working in hospitals declined. Less doctors etc.. \n \nSimultaneously in Canada, the number of people coming by air, land and boat to claim asylum skyrocketed. For example, in 2023 alone, in just one region (Central Canada) around 400 people arrived per day (on average). Ditto for other populated provinces. Also the number of international students SKYROCKETED too. In 2023, averaging around 2,000 per day across Canada. Years 2021 and 2022 had high #s too. \n \nThe majority trying to migrate to Canada recently have been from South Asia. And it's become extremely obvious to Canadians. Even those that are very used to much diversity & many cultures. Plus neighborhoods now know that international students are using schooling as a 'back door' ticket to come to Canada for permanent residency. No one says it in public amongst strangers, but everyone knows because they've witnessed the extreme PR frenzy firsthand by now. To many Canadians it has felt like a tidal wave that has reached all cities and small towns, with a post secondary school. This extreme situation never existed prior to 4 years ago.\n \nHospitals have been hit with many wanting free healthcare. Less doctors/nurses etc., means greater waiting times. Plus a VERY SEVERE HOUSING CRISIS has occurred in many western countries including in Canada. In ways not seen in people's lifetimes. And if you do find a place to live its quite expensive. Including small basement rooms. \n \nNow westerners want the money greedy agents (pseudo smugglers) in other countries to stop marketing & LYING to their own people about access to PR or citizenship … or accommodation/jobs … being easy (to get). And for any greedy people living in western countries to be ashamed of themselves if they're hurting students. Anyone doing things to make $ off of people's PR desires. At best, there is a 25% chance of gaining PR (better odds if you are masters/medicine etc.). \n \nNot all players across the board have acted honestly over the years, i.e. contract marriages (IELTS spouse), anchor babies, fraud, false asylum claims. Canada has asked the India government to prevent “ghost consulting”. The new PRIVATE (non-public) colleges are being investigated (including looking for strong oversea ties). \n \nCanadians are meeting students who told Canada they have enough $, but it turns out they borrowed it (some borrowed it for the application process only). Canadian food banks and other CHARITY services have been recklessly advertised on YouTube (by India students in Indian language). Many transit services have launched stricter rules, i.e. lost monthly bus passes registered in your name are now never replaced (unlike before). \n \nThen this year throw in all the Palestinian vs Israeli angry protests happening regularly in cities. Plus the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortion mostly happening in Ontario and British Columbia. Plus the Canadian government also recently launched investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections. All stemming from Asia continent. Hate crimes have gone from rare to occasional (primarily South Asians against South Asians). \n \nCanadians are so so so so so not used to all this. So many, who have embraced multi-culturalism and immigration for decades are now VERY worried and fearful (due to all of the above). And all are praying it doesn't turn into great anger (like in the USA). \n \nCanadians want multi-culturism to succeed … and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Everyone I know is VERY happy with Canada Immigration's recent changes (reductions & investigations). Including multi-generational long-term Asian-Canadians where many have been the most upset (by all of this).

I truly believe this all revolves around the housing crisis. Not enough housing can be built. Canadians with options are not taking low-income jobs. It's not a survivable wage anymore. Canada's #1 GDP is Real Estate. Potential first-time home buyers are not willing to throw themselves into a lifetime debt for a weak economy. \n\nSo what does Canada do? Fill these vacancies with immigrants. Not inherently wrong, but it's a band-aid solution to temporarily pump up the numbers. \n\nImmigrants, specifically refugees are taking low-income jobs. Speak Arabic? You can easily fill your job positions for minimum wage. Just like mafia tactics in third-world countries, the government takes their passports away and they must fulfill their duties at a very low wage and very high cost of living under threat of being thrown back into a potentially war-torn country. Came to Canada as a Dentist? Doesn't matter, you need to climb the ladder again and in the meantime work as a Receptionist making minimum wage.\n\nImmigrants with money are obligated to prove themselves. Buy housing, start a business. Numerous cities such as Brampton are being filled with slums. Housing a double digit of residents in the basement at absurd costs so the landlords can afford their ridiculous mortgages and lifestyle off the back of other immigrants/refugees.\n\nThe main issue is the hate directed towards immigrants. First of all, in the video it was disgusting for the man to acknowledge that someone was wearing good clothes and asking where the refugee center is. Someone can be a refugee and still have money. That's the ideal refugee. Someone with money in a war-torn country such as Sudan are high targets and completely deserve to run away to a safe country like Canada - especially if they can afford to spend money and stimulate the economy.\n\nStop attacking the people. Canada by itself is very WELCOMING, the problem is that you dive into the trap, there only ONE way to do this right, GIVE TO ALL IMMIGRANTS TIME BUFFER, like 1-2 year, don't destroy them from the start, it`s like I call friends to my home, I will say hey please feel free like in your house, but then ill throw them dirt to a face and ask them hey please be clean in my house go find place where to wash up and don't use my towel. Time that migrants spend to find JOB and HOME are exceed TIME they can afford living, it means LOW CREDIT SCORE, DEBT Problems, bad mood, anxiety, no hope, and boom you have more homeless guys. This is not the same Canada, we came to, it has changed and believe me changed for worse. Every place is crowded still liberals say we need more immigrants. Moved to Canada in 2017 and looking to leave in 2024. I was lucky to come here with a job and I’m making a six figure income even though I’m far from being successful. However, the problem with canada at the moment is even if you have a decent job and not too bad salary, you still can’t afford a home and the rent keeps going through the roof. Canada’s obsession with immigration is lazy and irresponsible. The politicians and elites see immigrants as cash cows and instead of creating companies that generate jobs and wealth, they speculate in the housing markets which are fuelled by immigrants. Immigration is not necessarily a bad thing but you do it with a plan, definitely not as radically as Canada did under the liberal government. The massive immigration only helps the rich, the already haves and the investors. Ask middle and lower classes how they feel about their life quality in Canada, do they really benefit from the immigration? They fight hard for jobs with minimum wages, pay for ridiculous rents, wait in the long line at the emergency rooms, get into bidding wars in the housing markets …. If you are not rich, simply don’t come to Canada. It’s not worth it unless you enjoy living from paycheck to paycheck and owning nothing.

To make matters worse, there are some who become “Canadians of Convenience” who, once becoming Canadian citizens and holding Canadian passports, leave Canada to go live in their countries and when things blow off, and their countries become war torn, they ask the Canadian government to pay for their flights back, not to mention those who get sick outside the country and come back to get treated at the expense of government health care. And after all is done, they once again leave the country. Really?

Many of your numbers are wrong sweetie. Here are the facts;\n2 years ago, you would go to IGA (where food is fresh but it is pricey), you would get out with 2 bags of groceries for about 120$. Today, it is 180$ for the same 2 bags. this is NOT a 10% increase... but almost the double in price!\n\nRent, in Quebec province, have gone from around 1,000$ to 2,400$ in less than 5 years, and each time a tennant leave his place, the landlord rise (against the law but nobody can do anything) the rent often by 25 to 40%!!! The Demand is so high, that he can refuse you for any reason (including racism, children, pet, smokers) he can think of. Again, this is against the common law but in truth, there is nothing anybody can do, unless you can bring him to court, which takes lots of money...\n\nSo in reality, from the last 5 years, almost everything has double in price and salaries have barely start to rise (mostly due to unions who revolted) but if you are not part of one, your salary basically stayed the same.\n\nA very good advice, don't come to Canada. Excellent video. I am a 29 years old Canadian with high education. I make 125K/year and yet after 2-3 years of looking actively I still can't manage to buy a house near the city as a first time buyer. I made many offers but lost every time. The demand is so high and the offer so low that many people bid way above the asking price even though the prices are sky high. Most of those people sold their previous house for a lot more than they bought it many years ago and therefore, are able to do so. First time buyers like myself don't have this advantage and the ones with lower salaries might never have the chance to have a house except if they move far from the city. Our government does not slow down on immigration because there is a labor shortage due to the older generation retiring but they don't build enough houses and allowed foreign investors for too long which results in the housing crisis we are currently in. My father bought a decent house near the city for the equivalent of 2 years of his gross salary at the time... Now the equivalent is more than 4-5 times my gross salary even though I make more than him at the time (taking inflation into account). Our healthcare and education systems are falling apart as well. Both are currently on strike in the province I live in due to terrible work conditions and salaries from our government. The cost of living has increased considerably in the last few years as well, especially the food even though the companies are making record net profits this year. Yeah... Canada is not doing well right now.

The solution to all these problems is not to make the Palestinians a Muslim or Arab country. The solution to all these problems is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. There is no other solution to this problem. There is another question that people ask why an Arab country or a Muslim country is not giving shelter to the Palestinians, so the answer is that the Palestinians have their own country, the Palestinian country is Palestine and they have the right to live on their land. Rent will keep increasing as there is no competitive market. as many of the people in Canada are already operating carousel tax fraud. Look that up on W5 and Canada is doing nothing to stop this, guess where all the ones at the top of that carousel are from? As long as there are ones operating illegal business earning more than the average hard worker being able to afford higher rent the rent will not be decreased but keep going up. Saying that they are bringing in mostly younger people is a lie too, they bring in everyone. That our workers are aging out and there will be nobody to do the work. Let's think about this clearly, as the population grows we need more businesses, more schools, more produce etc... Fact we need the same amount of business for a community based on the size of the community I would think. In the 1800's a small school house was sufficient, a local convenience store was enough with a mail order catalogue etc.. As population grows you need more. We also now have self check outs etc.. We are cutting down Canadas number one resource trees to make way for more and more roads etc.. Having to spend more to change and widen roads, feed these refugees, support them till they get situated, house them for how long, educate, train them, and then hope they can actually adapt and not hate us etc.. Look around the world and not just in our own back yards i.e. what happened in NY today, look at Britain afraid to put up Merry Christmas not to offend or any Christian monuments. It was quite a high amount on a special credit card he obtained that he maxed out shopping and then selling the goods. Now I know many can do that sort of thing and some by mistake, but those that have no intent to stay... The point is what is being done to protect us from purposeful frauds.

No kidding. It doesn't make sense to let more immigrants and foreign students into the country and have no plsce for them to live . It drives up rental prices because of supply and demand which is the reason rents go up and up. Time to stop immigration until the supply problems gets better which could be quite some time. I'm from Asia and recently moved to Canada with my family to live a slower-paced and safer life. I've seen firsthand that the drug problem here is worse than it was back home, and they're being coddled with no plans to discipline or rehabilitate them. I asked my friends how I could defend myself and my family if a random drug addict broke into our house and stole our belongings; could I at least beat that person up until the police arrived? They said you couldn't because you'd be charged with assault. It's funny. \n\nApart from the crimes and exorbitant living costs despite living in a rural area, even Canadians who have lived in the country since birth are struggling to make ends meet. \n\nSome positive comments, Canada provided me with a work-life balance that was not possible in Asia due to the competitive nature of the corporate world. So I had time to spend with my family, and you don't have to travel abroad to see beautiful scenery. Canadians are also very accommodating and friendly, in contrast to where I came from, where people will not help unless it benefits them as well. The Canadians here are extremely friendly. So Canada is great because of its people, but I can tell you that the government consistently makes bad decisions about how to solve certain problems, such as drugs and harm reduction strategies. Another issue is that they do not recognize internationally trained professionals, which could have helped alleviate healthcare issues in our area, where we have many internationally trained nurses from the Philippines working as restaurant servers and janitors. We have doctors from Kenya who have to work as general laborers and in other odd jobs where they can use their profession and experience to help people. I am also an immigrant, but the government should strategically distribute us based on our qualifications. I chose a rural area because I don't want to add to the number of immigrants in big cities and instead want to contribute to the local economy by bringing my skills and experience to the pool. \n\nCanada is a wonderful country, and I continue to believe so, but the government must reward and do more for its people who are trying their best to make this country great.

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. I asked for painkiller at-least so I could bear the pain but they refused that as well. You might well see someone you love dearly and with whole heart die in-front of you and you could do nothing. (I’ve experienced it myself hence saying)\nYou’re a lone survivor who’ll always keep fighting. \nThe only person who can make money here is businesses and high paid jobs which are reserved to Canadians. Know where you are going to work, know your host company, if you can’t find out by yourself, please ASK people who have been there, they can help you. \n2: Use appropriate agents (can you use eligible organizations instead of these one to one agent’s?) \n3: Make sure you follow the government procedures guys!!! (This keeps you on a safer place!!!!!!) many people skip this in the name of ‘janja janja’ just to get there. The main problem in Canada is you keep toiling year after year but you cannot really see you achieve a life where you are secure that you have made it. Cold weather, there are many cold countries like Scandinavian countries etc. but even migrants stay put because one's life improved. Canada just wanted to extract money from foreigners like international students, migrants without or even PRs but the promised benefits are in fact also gotten from them due to the many stiff taxes, & not really from the gov't. My nephews & niece supposedly given education but those are loans that must be paid after graduation. But the problem is there are no jobs even if they graduated with flying colors and nice courses. It was said work is easier if already citizens and studied there but no use. If there are jobs, so many asked like work history, credit background how can they have it when they just graduated so accepted jobs for undergraduates like mopping floors, fastfood crew & entailed years, so how can the payback be with just minimal earnings? Canada just make slaves of migrants with nothing done in their lives but work, work, work no spare time to rest then taxes, taxes, taxes. No savings even if very thrifty. Everything has tax - Exorbitant income taxes, home tax, rent tax, car tax, insurance tax, bank account tax, electricity tax, internet tax, cellphone tax, and many more. Slaves because you only live to sustain the government BUT YOU CANNOT RECEIVE THE PROMPT AND COMPLETE SERVICES promoted. So people got depressed and unhappy especially with the gloomy cold weather. It's not like jobs in other countries or even in one's home country where even if you toiled hard and made sacrifices, you moved forward by assets acquired like lots, houses, big bank account balances but no, in Canada you can't, it must all go to the Govt. It's like Communism.

Going back home after selling everything you work for just to relocate means you are going back to poverty, if you dont like foreigners in your country Europe and Asians countries please protest and ask yout government to close your borderlands better than making foreigners feel uneasy living around you,/racism, we have to reconsider the essence of Globalism, for we Africans Globalism has do us more harm than good. Let’s not forget the way they were driven out of this country during the “gold rush” and centuries of genocide as colonizers migrated west who by the way were immigrants. I’ve had relatives loose jobs at hospitals because immigrants kept going to hospitals not paying for services and those same hospitals had to close down. The US government has their hands aka MY TAX MONEY in every pot in the world except for their own. It’s time to ask the American people where they want their tax dollars to go and if lawful immigration is one of those things then let them pay if public education is their preference then let them pay their taxes toward what they believe makes America the best country for them to live. If you have skills study in india in government aided colleges finish a bachelors or masters then start to work gain experience support family and try for better jobs anywhere try to move step by step first to gulf countries make money get better exposure then try for Europe or Canada don't ask parents to take loans for education now on this digital world information and education can get from anywhere in the world
