I don’t understand how orange stupid lost his first trade war he started during his first term and doubling down again thinking something will magically change. I suppose the only thing that changed was how much more dummies drunk the orange Julius and here are now with folks proud of fellow Americans losing their jobs, a foreigner meddling with domestic policy, and shitting on our allies because they think these alleged cuts will somehow directly benefit their personal bank accounts.

I have no idea what possessed Mr. Trump to decide to stab our allies in the back, but it was not something good. 27.5% of voting age adults voted for him. How many of them were serenaded by hollow promises and a good slogan. Perhaps all of the mud slinging and Russian media interference helped? If you add in our more studious teenagers, truly reformed felons, and immigrants who actually deserve a gold card, that number plummets to less than 25%. I won't ask people to wake up, if you are reading this you are already more than capable of finding out that I speak only the hard truth. This means less than a quarter of america wanted this. This means your vote and opinions DO count. I know it is incredibly difficult to reach for and find answers in a world where your president or primary candidate throws 'fake news' in your face on a regular basis. He is actually telling the truth. When he is not telling you is that he is a primary enabler of 'fake news'. To him, only his word is law, only his opinion matters, only he deserves to be on top, and he deserves authority over all of your lives. Do the right thing, we all have a civil duty to understand our candidates to the very best of our ability. When a man has been convicted of dozens of felonies, and we tell you that this is only what we were willing to expose. You may want start believing us. The genuine facts of his past are unilaterally corrupting to our children and good people alike. Do not let the american people repeat their mistakes, force Mr. Trump to atone for his mistakes. No not empower him to sweep them under the rug for the sake of his own arrogance, because that is exactly what he is doing by trying to dismantle the CIA and FBI. These two institutions are shining examples of America's pursuit of freedom and justice. Freedom to keep billionaires from corrupting the morals of our children. Freedom to know that the rule of law is immutable, our constitution is not just a paper with fancy traditional sentiment. Even if the law may sometimes be bent for the sake of decency, forgiveness, and the pursuit of 'united we stand', our constitution cannot. Amendments require the FULL support of nearly all Americans, not 27.5% of unrestricted adults.

Okay, so US tariffs are bad and will cause financial trouble for both Americans and Canadians. Won’t Canadian Tariffs do the same thing? Furthermore, Canada will not win a Tariff war with the US. Canada’s response is not rational, nor is it in the best interest of the country. What about working with Trump to understand what it takes to remove all tariffs.

While Canadians' outrage over Trump's policies is still understandable, we now witness Americans who ought to stand with their president choose to support this hypocritical person, Trudeau, who has persecuted and still persecutes many of his fellow citizens, including truck drivers and anti-vaccine activists, in the name of freedom of speech. I just just don't understand what these blanket tariffs achieve for Americans. Firstly, employment in the US is at an all time high, if the aim is to bring back primary and manufacturing industries then it's just a myth. It's just pointless and mindless. Nobody wants to go back to working in heavy industry, people want high paying, highly specialized industries, this doesn't create that, it just makes cost of living higher so wages have to go up and cost of bringing in raw materials goes up, all things that discourage start up companies that employ well educated and skilled Americans

I am a conservative and I admit that Donald Trump's tariffs will have a negative impact on Americans. If you think businesses are going to pay for the increased cost of importing and are not going to scale back their labor forces are raise prices you don't have an understanding of business and finance. The whole purpose of going into business is to maximize profit therefore they are going to offset the costs by raising prices on goods for Americans and vice versa. This is a trade war. Thanks.

Born in Europe, brought up and trained into my profession as a researcher, in France, in the UK, in the Middle East, in Africa, and having been a permanent resident of the USA for almost 25 years, I can state that I agree 100 with what Trudeau stated, with the exception of one little detail If Donald Trump is as Mr. Trudeau suggests, an intelligent man, than he is simply detesting all Americans... and if is able to prove me wrong than one has to accept that Mr. Trudeau is wrong in believing Mr Trump to be an intelligent man, because even a ten-year-old is understanding that this tariff war is truly stupid and will not only damage the economy but will further deplete the coffers of businesses that are essential to world growth.
