holy crap. Sorry but as a Nova Scotian I have to strongly disagree . Our housing costs both renting or buying has gone crazy in the last three years . We have people living in tents even in the winter. Homelessness is in crisis. I personally have a friend in her 60s and sick and will be homeless in 3 days as she cannot find an apartment much less afford one Prices in everything has gone sky high. While salaries stay low. Every where you look now you see garbage just thrown. Last year we had devestating floods and wildfires. University students get her and cannot find housing. One international student is paying $400 a month to sleep on a hallway floor. I know housing in all our provinces is a problem. Tent cities are everywhere. People poyring in without us having the means to house them has caused terrible sufferring for all. People shoukd not come to NS at this time. Wait until there are places built to house people. Also our healrh care system is in crisis. I love my province but I dont even recognise it anymore. It is so sad what is happening here. People come here from away and some start youtube channels to tell people from their home countries Not to come here.

This video and channel are ridiculous. If you look at literally all of the other videos this guy does, especially his popular ones, he talks negatively about EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY. And I’ll let you all in on a little secret- people only want to listen to BAD news. Why do you think news channels dominate television? Same reason why this guy has so many views on his pointless videos- because people love bad news. Of course every country has flaws that might even be to much for a person to want to move there- but when your entire YouTube channel is based on fear mongering- where is ANYONE supposed to want to move too? And it’s honestly so laughable how many of you in these comments are just riding the coattails of everyone else without a single positive thought.

I love this channel however I own a few fast food restaurants and if it werent for foreign labour we wouldnt have 1 single full time employee and thats been the case for 3-4 years now

Been here 18 years saw the rise (2006>12) the success (2013-16) and the decline of Canada (2018 onwards) I think that was the last really fun year ever since then it's just been a faded version of itself.. @SalehFamily i can no longer follow your channel, there is nothing wrong with drag queens reading to kids, there's zero statistical evidence that the LGBTQIA+ Community has been blamed of hurting children. The ones you both have to worry about hurting children are: policemen, priests, youth pastors, politicians, your unassuming creep neighbor, principal, people of authority who are supposed to be trusted to keep children safe from harm are the ones who have hurt children. Just recently, numerous youth pastors, cops, church leaders have been arrested on charges of CP, CHSA, Molestation, most of which have received sentences between 2-40 years in prison. And love is love no matter who you are or what sexuality preference you are.

Have resided in America for a period of time...in a smaller community.. the Americans are beautiful warm people which I met..Canadians are quick to bias there opinion of america..if your free enterprising I had a wonderfully time there..and willing to understand Americans think quite different . Americans say what they need in negotiations Canadians say what are you prepared to give me outta the deal.....as for other respondents fear of safety and socialist needs..there are general laws in both countries which protect all.......Canadian see is legacy media accounts of violent events... America's population is 10 x s that of Canada are greatly inflluenced buy Canadian legacy brand media . Accounts people should really factor that into the equation..there have been some absolutely crazy violent events happen in Canada involving guns and other instruments... This is an interesting overview of Canada and its many issues. I would love to see a follow up video or two looking into these same issues but from a few different perspectives. 1) regionally - Canada is very diverse so our regions are quite different in culture, problems and cause of each. The major regions are: Maritimes/Ontario/Quebec/Prairies/West Coast/ Territories. 2) because of our diverse landscape different races are attracted to different areas. I have not studied this impact on our racism and political issues but would love to see someone like you do so. It appears to me that immigrants are disproportionately gathered along the US/Canada border and big cities, particularly east and west coast. First Nations are disproportionately populated in Rural and northern areas where resources overall are less available to all races. I would expect to find that this population disbursement would also reflect in our political leadership. For example more populated cities are far more likely to have immigrant own businesses and politicians, In rural and northern communities politicians are more likely to be white because First Nations politicians would be more inclined to work within the First Nations political channels where they can actually do more good for their communities. 3) The diversity that makes up 'white' as a race. It appears to me that Canada historically has been more inclined to attract 'White' races versus other 'colours'. We have large populations of British, Swedish, Irish, Russian, Ukrainian, French, Norwegian, and Polish to name a few. All of which have large diversity in their culture and history but are often classified as 'white'. 4) The massive impact the past 5 + years of politics and world affairs have had on the divisions within Canada. Personally I see and feel far, far more judgements between races, economics and regions than ever before.

Tyler, I love this channel but you’re sounding a bit naive with the “safe, small towns with nice people” argument. Columbine, Sandy Hook and Uvalde all happened in nice, small towns. Small towns are in no way immune to severe mental illness, and some of the most vicious racism is often most entrenched in small towns and espoused by nice smiling people. One of the scariest aspects of American gun violence — which over the last several years also happens to have been committed in my instances by dudes with white supremacist manifestos — is that there is absolutely no rhyme or reason as to where it will happen. I also know a LOT of American parents who are terrified of gun violence impacting their kids’ schools and they don’t all live in large urban centres.

Just found your channel and love it as a Canadian. I feel a little bit proud, but do not ask my son. He is never coming back and is living in Vietnam. And the only countries he would be in are Vietnam and Australia and US. Canada? He says he will never come back to, because it is very entrenched colonial nonegalitarian less than transparent country with no, or next to no opportunity to progress in career or ownership. Canadian american dream? forget about it.

I don't live in the mountains, but I don't deny they are there. Small towns are safe you say.....until easily accessed guns are used to kill so many kids, like in Uvalde . So lets not include THAT small town then. As for the batshit crazy comment, are you kidding that you don't see it. The entire world sees it and comments on it. I have 6 kids, and not one cost me a cent when they were born. Don't get me wrong, I have been down through the usa many times, and met great people. Last year I was in Livingston Texas, at a gas station, and a guy beside me was carrying a handgun out in the open, filling his car while smoking.....I was not about to confront him, and just stopped getting gas and left. So ya...that's not normal in my world, or 95% of the civilized world. So, for the love of god, stop trying to convince the world that the US is the greatest country on earth. As a Canadian who lived in the US (and all over the US) for over five years, I just wanted to comment on this video. \n\nIn your video, you seem to be shocked with Canadians reactions to school shootings and health care in the US. Much like Americans paint all of Canada with one brush, Canadians do the same. We watch American news channels more than Canadian news channels, and we read news from American sources more than Canadian sources. American news really is designed to scare people, and Canadians are easily scared! Not all of us consume only American news sources, but most of us do, and that’s just simply based on the fact that Google, Facebook, CNN, ABC, etc. are American companies. Yes of course there are safe communities and cities in the US, and yes of course if you have a good job you probably don’t have to worry much about health care.\n\nDuring my time in the US, I lived in Miami, Chicago and Seattle. I didn’t like Miami. It’s kind of another world down there. Seattle was ok. Chicago though… I absolutely loved living there. And if given the opportunity, that is where I would live for the rest of my life. People will say “Chicago! It’s so violent and problems blah blah”, but like you said, there are areas, even in big cities, that are super safe and fun to live in. \n\nI live in Toronto now, and I wouldn’t hesitate to move back to Chicago if given the opportunity. The food scene, the music scene, the sports scene, and the unbelievably friendly people. Such a great town.\n\nAnyway, love the videos. Keep it up!
