Canada’s refugee system is being exploited by fraud and political negligence. Real refugees lose, taxpayers lose, and public trust is destroyed. Stop the scams now.

15 years ago I wrote my highschool thesis on how capitalism leads to genocide and then cycles to communism which then leads to genocide and constantly repeats itself in a cycle. Then tied it in with Marxism and how neither system is truly sustainable. I ended up getting 100% on my paper... but what I didn't know was which race needs to be exterminated. Maybe there was a reason Hitler wanted the Jews gone and if we lose the Indians will just rewrite history like we never existed.

The problem is there are just to many off them. Then too many have gotten very arrogant saying thing like this our country now. Taking over cities street with loud music for some wedding and to those who also live on the street cannot even park there car or live in there homes due to the loud noise. No permit, just taking over. The other problem the last few years immigrations number have skyrocket and 90% of them our Indians. The government should have never let such a large group from one country enter. Meanwhile as climate change happen a lot of countries will be in trouble and the people will need to go somewhere. Iran has only 3% of there water reserve left. India has ruin there country and so has China with pollution and dumping of heavy metel in river and lakes. Meanwhile the Caribbean is expected to be unlivable in 15 and 20 years. The USA we are expected to lose 100 miles of our coastline. That area is where 50% of Americans lives. Pretty soon it will be everyone for themselves if certain country do not look at the long term picture. Also the lifestyle we are living today is just not sustainable.

The problem is immigration back in day was a luxury in India so only riches made it outside and they were rich compared to others after independence because they were more pro british and served them. So it was easy for them to immigrate and assimilate into your culture. Now you see many poor people also immigrating because immigration became more accessible, its just like the touchscreen phones, before only rich people had them, but later and now everyone has it. Plus your overly liberal and the stupid point system lets anyone enter the country if they meet a specific criteria, they barely check their english, background, crime record, etc. Also, living in India is a survival, or a nightmare for short. Especially for the poor people in the up north, and so they go to these shady agents who claim that they can send him or her to Canada, UK, Australia where ever they want in exchange for some money. Sometimes these agents turnout to be scams and sometimes not, then these students apply to some fake university that has no campus in Canada and select a course thats easy. Then once approved they come to canada, don’t go to university and make some other indian friends who say they have contacts with some job providers and through that the students get their jobs at the fast food joints and shopping malls. The mindset with which these students come to Canada is that I want to get a simple job as soon as I land in Canada and through that job I can get a PR. They never go to assimilate or discover the culture, they come because the country looks nice, has resources, and will provide them with a good salary so that they send some money back home to their parents as compared to low paying jobs in India, which too are super competitive. They still like the indian way of life, the culture, the food, the attire, just not in India. Thats why you’ll never see these students eating at anything other than a Indian Punjabi Restaurant or a fast food joint, they will never make white friends, they will never try to change the way they speak and look at Canadians, they will never try to change their driving habits. In conclusion, more poor people and students migrating, paired with their mindset of “I want everything to be Indian just not in India but in a place that looks better” paired with their low interest in actually learning and working better jobs is what makes them a bad immigrant group. But thats not to say that all are like that its only some and mostly Punjabis/ other North Indians that have this mindset. The reason why the Indian group in USA is much better and successful is because they are mostly of south indian descent. Those people are far more educated, actually respect the law of the land. And fun fact: The stereotypical Indian Accent originated from USA mainly and reason why many indians say that they don’t speak in that accent is because that particular stereotypical accent is present in Indian people who come from the states of Andra Pradesh and Telegana, which is is where most of the Indians in USA are actually from. If you choose to live in another nation, out of respect and gratitude to the nation that welcomed you, you must integrate, be part of, assimilate—without losing your roots, of course, but adapting. I am from a country of immigrants (Argentina). My ancestors were Spanish (Galician/Catalan), Italian, German-Jewish, and Polish, and they all assimilated, adopting Spanish-language and Argentine customs without losing their roots.

The real problem is not just people, it’s the Canadian immigration system and the loopholes IRCC has left wide open. In Punjab and other parts of India, wealthy families are arranging marriages where a girl with IELTS comes to Canada, then calls her husband here. Many of these are nothing more than contract marriages, where once the boy arrives, they go their separate ways. This is blatant abuse of the system and has created a wave of people entering Canada without even basic English skills. IRCC needs to wake up and fix this. Students on study or work visas must not be allowed to bring their spouses. If someone wants to come, let them take an English test themselves and prove they’re qualified. Study permits should only be issued for genuine university students, not random private colleges being used as back doors into the country. On top of that, no work permits should be given while on a study visa. Employers who hire students illegally on cash as cheap labour should face strict penalties, heavy fines, and blacklisting. Until these loopholes are closed, Canada’s immigration system will continue to be exploited and lose credibility. IRCC, this is not immigration — this is fraud facilitated by weak laws.

You’re not a Indian ones you become a Canadian citizen. These are Sikh Punjabi-Canadians. Nationality changes ones you lose forfeit your citizenship… ethnicity or religion doesn’t change. Stop putting us all in one box!

As someone who comes from latin-america and has been travelling and touristing in Canada for the last 10 + years, and finally decided to take the step to immigrate to Canada through the front door, I can safely say you guys are losing your amazing country. My permit was not approved and you know what, I am not even mad. I see a lot of these people leeching off your government and for some reason they get preferential treatment over people like me who come to do things honestly, work, study, and adding to the country instead leeching from it. Like I said, I first came to Canada a little over 10 years ago, and I am telling you this country is changing for the worse. One thing I also noticed is how back then I always used to hear the memes of Canadians being nice and always saying "sorry". Those memes no longer exist. I know it doesn't say much, but what I am trying to say here is: The quality of the Canadian citizen is 100% decreasing.

Okay then just don't go to Brampton. There are multiple parts of GTA where the population is more ethnically concentrated. Scarborough has more Srilankans etc. There are areas with more Chinese community. And honestly these are the fastest growing and areas with best services because people there want to work hard, sell cheap, benefit and become rich. They do not want to raid countries and steal and then be so lost in everything they have without doing much and then losing it all because you had nothing left to do other than Drugs.

An Uber driver was upset while telling me that he has family who have lived in the country for over 10 years but still refuse to learn English. They seem to want the benefits of living here, but not to embrace the culture that makes this country great. It feels like we’re losing a battle most people didn’t even realize was happening. A government is meant to serve its people, yet it often feels like ours is working against us.

How about the Emigration problem? Immigration from another country is one thing; Losing a worker to Emigration is another. This is what happened in the Netherlands: After the war, there was massive unemployment. (since not everyone is fit to work in construction) So we sent 5% of the country away, mostly to Canada. Most everyone who emigrated was fit and of working age. A lot of them where farmers. Twenty years later there was a massive labour shortage. Our country needed fit men of working age. So we got immigrants.

My daughter is a fully qualified for graphic Designer and yet (with thousands of $$$in student debt) cannot find a job. She actually put in her resume with an Indian name as well as in her own name. Guess which resume had a call for an interview, yes - the one with the Indian name. This is insane. I require personal health-care at home and i REFUSE TO have my Canadian worker be replaced with an immigrant from Kenya. Sorry but the Canadian worker has been here for 5 generations and then suddenly she's going to lose her house because of this situation with immigrants. Not if have anything to do with it if and when i can. Sharia law, and other foreign practices are not respectful to Canadian culture. If they dont assimilate to our culture, speak our official languages (French and English). Deport them all. Here's the root of most of the problems, its gov. policy, you take in a million new people a year, give them everything and your dollar ends up losing value, so even though your working hard, you cannot get ahead in this country. So you end up going into a debt that you can't pay off and the problems increase. Taxes go up value of the dollar keeps going down, so in the end its a no win situation for most of the general population and its the same when you retire, you get an income that's not enough even to pay for rent in the city you were brought up in. This is a very serious problem and gov. does not seem to do anything about it, food banks are overwhelmed along with medical staff, food prices and rents have gone out of sight as far as prices are concerned. We have a national debt that never gets paid and a gov. that spends more money than it takes in in taxes. And a dollar thats going to H in a handbasket. Too much crime, too much violence, too many traffic jams and too much drug use. I have written to this liberal gov. and told them how to fix these problems but they don't listen, their agenda is with the WEF, you will have nothing and you will be happy, right, no. Canada is now a bankrupt country and going to a third world status, I guess you get what you vote for and I did not vote for this gov. to ruin the country. Hey note that this is just the start, its going to get a whole lot worse down the road as we all suffer another great depression, then things really get bad.

As a multi-generational, born-and-raised Canadian citizen. Recently, I have been unemployed for 1 year and 2 months, which is the longest I have ever gone without a job in my entire life. My EI has run out, and during this stressful time, I have only had 4 actual interviews with real human beings. I am also a caregiver for both of my parents, and working remotely has been my profession for the last 7 years. Remote work allows me to both care for them and bring in a full-time income. Despite having 30 years of customer service experience, I find myself being overlooked. Many companies now use AI to prescreen resumes, so if your resume isn’t ATS-friendly, it often never gets seen by a human. Even if you make it past that stage, there are endless AI-driven assessments before you even have a chance to speak with someone. And when you finally do, it’s often yet another layer of screening rather than a real interview. I know I bring value — I consistently receive compliments from customers across cultures for speaking clearly, precisely, and making their experience enjoyable. Yet I find myself competing with younger candidates who can work longer hours, or new immigrants that companies often prioritize, sometimes with government incentives. At 55, I feel like I’m being overlooked despite my proven skills and professionalism. Right now, I live with my retired parents and should be caring for them. Instead, my father is helping me pay my bills so I don’t ruin the credit I worked so hard to build. If I don’t secure a job soon, I fear I’ll lose everything else I’ve managed to hold onto. The stress is overwhelming — I cry daily, and on top of everything, I also face health issues of my own, but I have no space to focus on them because survival takes priority. Canada today feels very different from the country I grew up in. Since the pandemic, things have become harder in every way — jobs, housing, and simply living. Even if I manage to secure work, rent alone now takes up nearly 75% of what I’d earn, not even including other basic bills. It’s disheartening to feel like no matter how hard I push, I can’t get ahead.
