China is sneaky..be careful with them.\nI dont support Trump but he is half right but so is the president from Mexico.\nTrump and Claudia need to sit down and have a productive conversation on how to resolve this issue. One of the things I would mention is to not have Chinese merchandise cross the US-Mexico border through Mexico, thats where I think the conversation should really focus on. I blame ex president Enrique Pena Nieto for this problem because he allowed China to use Mexico, corrupted president.

The truth is that the United States needs Mexico more than Trump thinks. Mexico is the only country in the world that has all the existing resources of all kinds and does not need any foreign products to survive. President Trump is very wrong if he thinks That Mexico is the same as Cuba and that he can exclude it, please have someone explain to him that breaking free trade agreements with Mexico is the biggest stupid thing the United States would do in recent years.

Did she REALLY say that Mexico has done a lot to help the Biden administration curtail illegal immigration and help with the security of the southern border? Lol!!!! Of course, prices will go up, but that's not the main issue here. Besides, liberals are the last group who should be complaining about rising costs! The real question is who will suffer the most. President Trump has done this before—if you recall, he did it last time, and within 30 days, Mexico secured the border. She's playing politics right now, as expected, but I guarantee she'll eventually back down. The price increases you keep mentioning will impact their economy far more than ours, and she knows this. It feels so foolish to keep trying bandaid solutions that harm the US labor pool. There's a couple of things I keep thinking about in regards to this. \n\n1. Most developed countries on earth are in the midst of or are preparing to deal with population crisis and depopulation. Strong immigration to the US stems this issue and is actually a huge advantage to the power and continuing visibility of the USA.\n\n2. Deportation and border control strike at the effect of immigration and leave the cause unharmed. People come to the USA because there's opportunities here, so why not make opportunities abroad?\n\nIf the USA were to remove benefits of dealing with china while offering massive incentives for moving manufacturing away from china directly to Latin America, not only would we be countering our Chinese dependency but we would also provide jobs at home and stem immigration. Not only that, but the businesses would be American and be controlled by Americans - a huge incentive to stay friendly to the USA.\n\nI don't know, just seems like our current policy and especially what Trump is suggesting are counter productive and stuck in a bygone way of thinking.

When Trump was president , employers with workers that did not have work authorization were told to fire those workers or face stiff fines. Hundreds of thousands if not millions were fired and replaced with citizens at higher wages and inflation did NOT go up. The same thing will happen this time.

Proud dual citizen Canadian here. Love the country, people and culture. However, the Liberal politics of the last 9 years have been a disaster, from high inflation, uncontrolled immigration, lack of pro business investments, homelessness, housing… this is to list just a few issues. Are we talking about a mass deportation of people who came into this country illegally? The funding and the resources are the problems. Trump is not going to be able to deport as many as he proposes. If some of them have been here and started an American-born family, then they should get special consideration, but if it's decided they get deported it's really not the fault of the government, it solely rests on the shoulders of those who come in our country and break our laws. If the idea is to become an American Citizen breaking the law is not the first thing to do to swear allegiance. It's confusing. My hope is that we get this issue behind us with fairness and compassion, without sending the message that you can just come here without due process.

It will never be a doable thing to remove the productive residents for a non productive interest. We don’t eat money or technology to live.
