Parents in India encourage their children to go to foreign countries in the hope of becoming rich! They calculate the U.S. dollar by the Rupee at 1 dollar @ Rs. 86! These Parents are foolish and ignorant! I've visited India many times! These foolish parents always ask me how much dollars I make! STUPID! \nI have no sympathy !

India should treat countries the same as they treat her. Do not go to Countries that do not want you. Have some respect for yourself.

There’s more pride and nationalism projected in this video than real facts. Why do Indians need visas? It’s very simple: Most Indians are more likely to figure out a way to stay abroad once they touchdown abroad. \n\nAmericans, Canadians, Europeans, etc, don’t need visas wherever they go because most of them always return to their countries eventually no matter where they visit and how long they’re away. \n\nCitizens who don’t need visas wherever they go hardly ever leave their own countries for another. It’s really very simple. Just look at Singapore, Switzerland, etc. How often do you see their citizens leave such countries for another? Almost never. That’s why.\n\nIt sounds like she’s trying to make an argument that this rule shouldn’t apply to Indians because India’s economy is powerful. You need to convince this fact to the Indians who are leaving India, because if you can’t even sell this point to those Indians leaving India, then you don’t even have a case.

The problem is that when they ask for a tourit visa, they stay and want to work. Europeans and Americans as well as people ftom the rich Ara nations go to Infia as a tourist and then go back to their country. Thailand and Vietnam allow more Indians be ause Indians do not want to work there. We are right. We must not give visas unless we need the person. India should fo the same.

If India is the 5th biggest economy then why r its citizens going abroad. This 5th biggest economy just seems like full of hot air and immigration of its citizens suggests they r poor looking for a better country ?

Simple basic reason. Many Indians want to migrate out of India … illegally. They are asking travel tourist visas for transit countries with the aim of going to country of destination. Most of them are aiming for the US.

I’m not Indian National however I feel proud that this nation has build ‘herself’ as the 5th largest global economy and if some of the following ways are adapted by Indian Gov, the Indian passport will be saluted.\n1) Make your currency strong as in Raja Ranjeet Singh’s time 1 Indian puree was ten (£10) British Pounds, today it’s 100 Rupee to £1.\n2) Need to hold educational tests for everyone going abroad with a minimum level of English language.\n3) Emphasis on etiquettes and local Knowledge of the country where the traveller wants to visit.\n4) Stop all of illegal immigration via people smuggling agents as this gives a bad name to the country.\n5) Set a minimum benchmark amount of funds required before applying for an overseas visa.\n6) Make it mandatory for all travellers to have a full fare return ticket (12 months validity) on them at all times to show strong ties to return back home after trip.\n7) Create strong religious tolerance and harmony within the country so the world can see no religious discrimination being reported on international media worldwide.\n8) The Indian embassies all around the world should be aware and weary of each Indian national traveling abroad in real time so they f any help is require they can assist 24/7 without failure.\nThese are some of my points and opinions for a better India.\nI hope the people who read above will not be offended by any of my opinions as this is not my intention and I am well wisher and want to see this nation thrive, always.\nGood luck and all the best…

Well, there are good Indians and scammers Indian. Scammers in India are causing headaches for good Indians. That is the facts. For instance, recently some Indians took a huge loan in UAE and left for Canada with that money. That has put the UAE government in a position to make the visa process more difficult to find out if bad people are getting the visa or not. I would say, the Indian government should introduce a process to thoroughly investigate a person before they apply for a foreign visa, and it should be honest to see some improvement in Indian behavior in the foreign countries. If not, that number is just going to go down. It doesn’t matter how much you scream. Do that for the sake of good Indian people.

the likes of Palki and so called other journalist is if something bad happens to Indians the other party is racist but if something bad happens to people in China, Nepal, Bangladesh etc the reason is those countries citizens. Even 1% rejection on 100k Indian visas is a 1000 rejected visas. While a less populous country may have 10% rejection out of 1000 visas which is 100 rejections. So, in % terms, India fare well despite having higher rejections.\nFiring shots at Kosovo, Cuba and B Faso is a cheap shot and unnecessary to push the point of passport rank. All countries have a right to determine who they allow into their country with lower restrictions. And they are under no obligation to open the gates to anyone. It is also common knowledge that the newer cohorts of Indian immigrants to the West are a bad representation of Indian society (best example - Canada). Hence the rising anti Indian Immigration stance. Immigration is a privilege and not a right. I hope that the Indian community understands that the visa rejections are a lesson and not an insult, and that they learn from this and become better ambassadors when they go overseas.

The reason is that some Indian finds it difficult to integrates.\n\n I know one Indian lady that have lived in one country for over 20 years and the lady cannot speak the language of that country. Believe or not because of the behavioural issues also become one reason for rejection. Maybe not a big reason but it definitely should consider. Any immigrant who enters to a country must obey the rules and policies, respect others, environment, culture etc. in Canada from some cities other nations are moving out out due this people are trying to make here as their country in all aspects. Indian should go to finishing school. They should rebuild there educational system so the youth shouldn’t go out of country for education. This shows our country credibility we can't just go an blame others as an Indian i feel there is no human rights for common man no justice, no opportunity to explore, no good health and lots of corruption, violance. I also got the opportunity in 2022 to go germany from a startup company but i refused now i regret.

There are several reasons. First off, a few Indians do certain scams that affect the country. Some students from india who apply for student visas dont go to school to study, but instead take advantage of going to work there. Indian dicipline, some countries like europe and singapore complained that indian tourists tend to be rude or dont have proper manners

Indians need to drop certain behaviors when they leave India and learn how to behave in the west. Maybe then, some countries may reconsider their visa formalities. I’m predicting that SE Asian countries are going to soon remove visa on arrival status for Indians because of their tactless behavior exhibited for all to see.

I've been to several embassies Western and other European Non Western embassies in India over the past 25 years and most of them don't allow Indian visa applicants inside the Embassy/Consulate. Some allow Indian visa applicants only at the entrance or only inside the gate not beyond. Others allow Indian visa applicants only at the gate and you hand your application and passport to the security. It depends on what kind of visa of course. If it's for tourism or a short term visa then you're not allowed inside. If it's long term then some embassies interview you so those embassies allow. But the embassies of those very countries in countries other than India are much more open and you can actually go inside the embassy and speak to consular officers etc. In India in most Western embassies and even some Non Western embassies you cannot do that unless you're applying for long term visa or immigration etc.

Stop acting like you don’t know Ms Sharma, visas for Indians are rejected mainly because when you apply for a tourist visa, most of the time you are not really visiting that country. You have plans to settle there. Many people do go to these countries as tourists but they know very well who seems like a tourist and who doesn’t.

Good. Just focus on your work in your home country instead of wasting time traveling abroad to show off. Most Indians go overseas just to brag, while only a few are genuinely hardworking Indians who go abroad to support their families.

The rejection rate is increasing as we Indian are going out at a pace which is greater than any of the given country especially if we compare ourselves with China. Second is the civic sense, we have little to no civic sense when we cant keep our own country clean. Third is the general sentiment in the host country, as we are highly skilled and take most of jobs, western people with their inferiority complex cant handle it hence ranking India in the 85th Position.

The problem is fear that Indians will travel to the West and not go back. Not just Indians, but Africans, South Americans and many Asian countries do the same. I've lived in the US for 55 years. There was an Indian music troop that came to the US to perform, maybe 20 people, including singers, musicians, comedians etc. After their tour in the US, half of them did not return to India. They figured they can make a better living in the US and live here as an illegal immigrant. This is too common. The next time when a troop of musicians want a US visa, chances are the immigration office will think twice about approving a visa. I can travel anywhere with a US passport because people know that Americans will return back to the US.

as an NRI who lived in US, UK, and Canada, I can tell you that the so called developed nations are over hyped. Yes, there are so many things that are better in these countries compared to india, but all these countries lack one thing. Respect towards fellow human beings. I lived in several states in India, we have problems, but nothing compared to these countries. Indians don't belong outside of india. Don't go to any country out side of iindia...you are not welcome. I came back to india and I am living peacefully.
