This a new racket that is maybe about 7-8 years old or more when I first started noticing it. Asked a student who named a college I had never heard of and now we see numbers like 40K in one institution. Obviously all the folks involved are making money and the comments here summarize the effects of this phenomenon ? Hilarious but then Canada cannot attract first rate talent. Canada has become so corrupt. It's also known Canada has become a haven for money laundering and all kinds of schemes like that. These colleges have turned into diploma mills. Their diplomas have no real value anymore. They are churned out solely because of money and it's flooding the market as well. \nHow is this allowed? \nCan you imagine how many Canadian Citizens are DYING because they have to fight against millions of new International students and new coming immigrants each year for a hospital spot.\nWait times at ER as exploded. Tons of new cases where Canadians died waiting for emergency help. This is criminal. \n\nThis is also very bad for the long term Indians that came to Canada many years ago and their kids born in Canada. They are starting to get stigmatized because all Canadians see is insane amount of Indians that barely speak English (that would be the immigrants not the students) and with a housing crisis and it affects Canadians. Guess who the scapegoats are.\nI am telling you these are the unfortunate side effects. Right now all Canadians are hurting. Trudeau and Liberals have to go and PP better not even TRY to keep this going.

Stop capping our resource sectors so much , start ramping up the procurement and processing of those resources . Our processes are way more eco friendly than the other main international providers . It would help drastically reduce emissions from non eco friendly sources while providing our economy with the huge boom it needs to upgrade our housing production and infrastructure. Look at the real stats on our worldwide emissions... Canadas emissions are a tiny blip of the worldwide emissions ... our government acts like we're this massive air pollutant scourge and we just aren't. We can go net zero pretty fast of we stop stepping all over our energy and resource sectors ... then immigration would be supportable ...

Hey Tyler i love your work. I am a savagely loyal Albertan. \nAlberta is the best province. Change my mind. \nBut if Alberta starts slipping to the Left with another NDP/Socialist government, i would move to the US no question. Not just anywhere though. The 2 coasts are dumpster fires. (No offense if you live there) Canada is messed up like the 2 coasts. Trudeaus MO has been to systematically dismantle this once great, thriving, proud country for 8 long years. The housing is something the government should have seen earlier, stepped in to start creating homes itself. It is too expensive for small companies to build or they are forced to sell what they build at a small margin or lose to regular people. Most other cases they are up against giant companies like BlackRock who use houses as investment. The hands off approach of the Liberals and Conservatives has lead us to a housing shortage. We need to build housing, and it is quite apparent that private companies too small to compete or too big to bother. The government and Canadians are going to have to solve this ourselves, and build more housing.

Israel is perfectly willing to let the Palestinians stay and keep their land. Israel only wants the end of the HAMAS terrorists! None of the border countries wanted the refugees at the very start of this. Why? Because they can't tell who is Hamas and who isn't. I totally agree that this country will break your spine and test your ultimate willpower. Me and my wife came here 5 years back and we decided that we will shut ourselves like a tortoise. Forget about savings and forget about everything else. Only and only one goal we had in mind is that we will live in the basement and earn top dollars. Just to give you a perspective. My first pay was 19 dollar per hour and my current pay is 87 per hour. My wife started with 16.5 per hour and now earning 69 per hour. Even though our income grew substantially, we never raised our expenses. Answer to all problems in Canada is income. Now after 5 years we bought house worth of 1.4 M. We moved out of basement and felt immense pride. We paid 37% down payment and 3 banks approved our mortgages in a heartbeat. No debt at all. We paid up our car in full. Just a regular new suv nothing fancy. \nEveryone is different, we all are unique and I believe you took a right decision. Each and every word you said in the video is true. \nWe cried , we fought , we felt that our life is ruined but we both thought that ek bar to Canada ko harana hai. High cost of living is a for sure sign that they don't want so many immigrants living off of the system.\nPeople should start considering fixing there own family situations in there home countries.\nCanada has already proven to be a good country for immigrants but it's not that go to hub for immigrants to exploit.\nThe work has been done.\nCOVID was scary when I was there. I whole city shut down it looked like a ghost town. As a canadian i never thoughg of living anywhere else vanxouver is so beautiful. Growing up govrnmebt started cutting programs and services in schools ans public resources. And kept doing it. \n\nNow they are removinf beautiful homes to build ugly apartments no yards .\n\nThere is not enough public space. Everyone is moving to the city. We use to be able to go to the beach on a weekday in spring and there was no one. Now its packes. To get to the bathroom was almost a block long. The bathrooms are small. Goos for population we has in the early 90s. We need somethings 4x larger now. \n\nIm ok with new comers but if they create a new community in the rural areas. We have so many areas up north no one moves to.\n\nOr lots of space to build new communities up north, not deatroy the current communities that already exist. \n\nWith all the new apartments there is not enough space for cara, no parking and no room on public transportation.\n\nSimply, the city cannot support anymore people. Its unrealistic. \nI worked with a girk who shares a 1 bedroom apartment with 5 other people and she still paid 1500 a month for rent.\n\nThis will soon be like america - run down, extreme poverty & homelessness. The homelessness has gotten so extreme.\n\nWages havw increased maybe 3x since i was a kid, but pricea rose eveey year.\n\nAs a kid we paid $850 for 3 bedrooms. When i mo ed to my first apartment i paid $800 for 3 bdrms. My friend pays $3000 now for a 2 bedroom aptt.\n\nThere are more crimes more thefts now. My old houae was 600,000 that same house is now 1.5 mil. \n\nI make 2x what i made 3 yeara ago ans things are even more expensive than, i have less now vs when i was making less. I am living in GTA since 1993. Initially I had been a factory first 11 years. Ever since i did not get job based on my skills, it was far big difference.\nLater in 2001 i started to work in IT Industry, after this10 years this industry started to decline.\nCurrently i do still find a job, but that is like a contingent worker and now i work 6 months in a year. Me and my husband are trying to leave the US for similar reasons, life is hard and no time to actually enjoy our kids s childhood and we want our kids to get a islamic education and enjoy life as muslim in muslim country it s so fun, i personally started suffering from social anxiety i can stay home for a whole month because i feel i uncomfortable with the bad looks and the negativity to the point that i don’t take my kids to the playground because im afraid they ll be treated in a bad way because it happened in the past , we r thinking about going the arabia saoudi or morocco\n i work with individuals with disabilities i will miss them so much my father asked me to not leave that job and to do my best to make their life easier, i feel like i ll miss them the most, may Allah unite me with them in jannah ameeeen

My parents immigrated to Canada from Romania when I was nine and I have lived there for 20 years. I can’t remember ever really liking it, but I was made to believe that I was so lucky to be living there but always felt like it wasn’t the place for me. I just couldn’t find any other country where I actually felt good until a Moroccan friend convinced me to visit his country and I fell in love! I think from the moment I started planning my trip there I had already fallen in love with the country! For four years I kept going back until I finally had the courage to settle there! It’s been almost 7 years and I still love it as much as in the beginning (with all its pros and cons, because obviously there are also plenty of cons like in every other country, but the beauty and the people’s kindness and warmth far outweigh any of them:)

A better question would whether or not he thinks Hamas governs the Gaza Strip in the best interest of the Palestinian people. And if so, which policies does he believe should be adopted by Saudi Arabia. And if he doesn’t support Hamas, then what can such a rich and plentiful country like Saudi Arabia do to help the Palestinians, with regard to an alternate government. No one is interested in conquering the lands of the WB or GS. The question is what to do to improve the quality of life in those areas, and replacing Hamas with a government that cares about its people would be an easy starting point.

if not for covid I would likely have left myself by now. Trudeau has made living here unbearable, I never seen a PM hate his own people as much as this clown. I read an article recently that Canada is running their immigration like a shady fly by night credit card company. It doesn't matter to them about honoring the terms as long as they can get enough people to sign up. But soon enough (and it's starting to happen) word is going to get out that it's not really that great and the number of people signing on is going to plummet.\nThe Canadian government doesn't care about the immigrants as people, all they are is numbers to keep our overall GDP propped up, meanwhile per capita GDP is in a freefall.

My family emigrated to Vancouver about 20 years ago from Singapore like you do. That was one of the best gifts that I can give the family. Canada is one of the most livable place in the G7 countries. It maybe hard to start like everybody else. Canada can make you a complete person while Singapore make you half a person because lots of nature and beauty not there and with no voice to speak and resolve your life in Orchard road and malls only. That why you should live in Canada.

60 y.o., born and raised in Canada. My wife and I left for Turkey. We had to leave because it became apparent that we would be living in poverty come retirement. In Canada, if you don't have a union job or a government job, your life will end up in a dead end like ours did. If you worry about the future, your feelings are probably justified and you should start looking for a way out as we did.

I don't understand why strict islam believers choose non islamic countries to settle in. There are so many countries in middle east, feels like half the countries have a muslim majority. Why not be comfortable living there. At the end of the day it is important to feel safe and also have a sense of belonging to where u settle down. How can a muslim ever feel that when prayers over loudspeakers are also banned. I feel like many muslims dont value their religion enough to settle in a muslim country and then when they face backlash in non-muslim country they start behaving like a victim. One cannot expect to be in an entirely different cultural environment and still force a different culture to their children. It restricts the children from integrating well in the country. When a parent from a different culture decides to raise children in a country which have a different culture, it is obvious that children will be exposed to this other culture. If that is not okay to parents, then they should not do children in a different country but rather in a country where they are blessed with their own culture. There is a choice for most people, and I am glad that you all chose it. Its beautiful to see people living in peace and in harmony with their religion. I love watching you all and hopefully you are able to encourage more muslims to choose an Islamic country to settle in, rather than being victims or having to fight in Non- Islamic countries due to western influence. I am here 10 years. One thing that was really shocking to me was how many people were sheeple right when the pandemic happened. LOVE to listen to what they are told to do! People refused to socialize and try to reach out. Young people. Well guess what? That was the beginning of bad news. I also have been surprised at the amount of people who assume all Americans are like Trump and have messed up attitudes towards Americans. I am looking forward to a better Canada. A place where maybe people can start coming up with friendlier ways of living life.

I'm Canadian born and raised.The main problem is too many people are left leaning so we have the same problems as California,to much bureaucracy,high taxes,crime,homelessness,drugs etc that's all a biproduct of liberalism.High taxes are needed to fund left wing policies like the climate scam,giving billions to ukraine,womens groups,gay groups etc the useless bureaucrats have to justify their position so millions of unnecessary and pointless policies are imposed.I'm a welder and the bs you have to go through is so extream many just give up and do something else.As for immigrants it effects them too so we have doctors driving cabs or nurses working at mcdonalds etc these problems really started to be an issue when Canada got progressive in the mid 90s and never recovered.I heard 50k of born and raised Canadians have been leaving every year for the last 3 years with no end in sight.My countrymen need to wake up and dump left wing thinking and bring back the conservatism from the past that built this country or there won't be a Canada.

I came here on 28 August as international student in Vancouver from India and just after 4 days I left canada on 1 sep and came back to india. It's shocking to say within 4 days I returned back, canada is not worth it, people from all world are mixed there it causes problem of fights and #other matters, survival is difficult and cold conditions, that's why population is less there, it is aim of govt that's why attracting migration towards canada but not worth it, we're going there by leaving various things in home country such as home, car, family, nation, property this is foolishness by leaving all utilities of life and to start again from zero in Canada it is big foolishness aslo by leaving nationality, doing struggle of just settling, In my view , we have limited time in life, we're having things and doing hardwork to do those things agin in other nations, its better to do in own country. It doesn't matter opportunites are there in Canada etc, every nation has opportunity, you're from Singapore it's best country do there not leave nation, everyone not have to migrate all have to do in their home countries. In comparison of my country india, canada gone too back from India serioulsly, food is not fresh there freezed fruits same fruits and veges in stores for months, if you like this then reply back I can share my personal and known friends ground REALITY experiences with you..

I moved out of Canada in 2023 due to the high living costs, after nearly a decade. Taxes are super high as you start making a bit more of money, healthcare is precarious (talk about preventative medicine… non-existing in Canada) and the real estate market is just the cherry on top. Making 200k plus I couldn’t buy a condo anywhere for me and my wife without accruing a lot of debt, at least a 2/3 bedroom as we both work from home. Even cities like Calgary, known before for cheap rent, have doubled the prices. \n\nToronto and Vancouver are blatantly used for money laundering and the government doesn’t care. Prices as a result have super inflated and people doing any type of decent work are the ones to pay for it. \n\nCanada is amazing if you are either VERY poor or VERY rich. The rest is better off moving elsewhere
