Well, Indians just want to take from a system they has no inputs in building over decades...good jobs, PR, social services environment etc. Many are not even real students and simply wish to migrate and bring their entire village. And they do that not just in Canada, but almost all developed western countries. Even in countries like Singapore and UAE. Even their companies hire mostly from India.

As a person living for around twenty years in Canada, the real problem is too much supply of human resources from outside Canada especially from India. This is around 35% and trying to concentrate in certain areas of Canada. This has caused too much burden on Health care, Transportation, housing, and other public services in those areas. Unlike the time I migrated to Canada, all places are now overcrowded. There are not enough job opportunities due to the large influx of students. Thousands of applicants for one job from the day they arrive here. You can get some idea of how many applied on the job site Indeed. This has resulted in companies and job agencies exploiting students by paying low wages and firing them indiscriminately. Therefore, both the Canadian government and the Indian government have a role to play and Students too should be aware of the real situation here.

You should tell us how many Indian immigrants actually went back to India . Not many . I have seen 20% interest rate here and you think 5% interest rate is high . Indian community is the richest immigrant community in North America . People move to United States and move back to Canada which is normal . 17.5% left Canada but 82.5% are still here , what does that tell you ? There is housing shortage and that will be solved in time . A lot of these problems are caused due to covid shutdown and excessive immigrants coming from India . Question should be asked why so many leaving India ? In 2021 and 2022 , about 900000 Indian immigrants came to Canada and 2023 will likely be close to half a million . We Indian may not like cold weather but we are very comfortable in inside house . So far this year I only had to shovel snow twice and not for months . There is no shortage of job opportunities but One need to be flexible of courier . Canada still tops in most standards and consistently in top 10 among all countries of the world .

Re Indian students as a former teacher I have to also say that many Indian students coning here are lacking the basics. I also found that students educated in US states like Florida and Texas were around two grades behind. Many Indian studenrs here have high expectations but poor background and inadequate English language skills. It is a shame that people are getting into Canada with false documentation and credentials. Also they are enrolling in very dubious schools and it is no surprise that they find life here very difficult. Hopefully the Canadian government will take greater care to see that only suitable candidates are allowed to come to Canada as students. Also students from other countries should avoid coming here if they don't really have sufficient skills and should make sure that they are choosing reputable educational institutions. There are lots of private institutions with fancy names. Don't be fooled.

Too many indians students compared to other nations and they all remain in Canada .

We’ve been here since more than a year now and we don’t have a car and we love the pollution free air here and the work life balance. If you live downtown, you don’t need a car as public transport is very convenient. If you don’t want to do things on your own and you definitely need the help from maids and so on, then Canada isn’t for you. It all depends on where you find a house. Very few people in downtown own cars. If you want to live a healthier life, Canada is a good place for that. We came in winters and settled with the help of relatives and thankfully it’s been good so far. Summers are amazing here. Job market is a struggle currently but it’s not permanent. And it is possible to find a job from India if you try for it. If you’re in IT, you don’t need to start from scratch. There are Indian stores almost everywhere and many Indian restaurants as well. You just need to find your place. And it’s an amazing place for plant based vegan people. Food quality is amazing and great safety restrictions. Healthcare also depends on where you live. If you find your people and friends and keep socializing with family, loneliness won’t be there. It’s better to move to a new country when you don’t have kids. \nAlso the accent gradually develops and there’s nothing to worry about. This place is very diverse and there are people with very different accents from all around the world. There is some struggle initially but it all depends on what your priorities are. Life here is very comfortable once you get used to the lifestyle here and the biggest thing is, work life balance and the quality of life. If you want to do things other than your job, this is a good place to do that. Kids also become much more independent here. Rest it all depends on what your goals in life are. Also one of the biggest factors is, if your partner/husband isn’t willing to help with housework or cooking, you can’t survive here. As simple as that. Many factors to consider.

Canada should put visa cap including immigration per country....follow the American policy. Its simply too many Indians that is changing the demographic balance by one ethnic group called Indian. And International student should not have full time work authorization, its directly hitting the location population employment opportunities.

I am an international student from Hong Kong but I 100% support Canada should limit immigration. I don’t think I am studying in Canada, I just feel like studying in India. In the College, lotta Indian students n professors group tgt n ignore other races students. I saw too many Indian free riders in the group n tryna ruined my scores. International students are good for Canada in the long-term national benefit. There's one problem. many of these students are not genuine students but a gateway for them coming to work instead of schooling. Yes! Canada is accepting too many international students. My neighborhood is inundated with Indian students due to the private colleges near by and the rents have sky rocketed. There is no available homes or apartments to rent. Very frustrating.

I went to Conestoga college, and I wish your mon read my words. Canadians, should consider that international students are paying around 20k yearly to Canada Colleges institutions that are not offering better education than the one provided in their own countries for way less than 30k. Other developed countries, like Germany or Belgium offer the same programs to international students for around 8k yearly, but, the international students rather come to Canada which also offer an easier path to become PR. But then, they crash with the reality and they realize that even many Indians can't speak proper English to be competitive in a Canadian College or in a Canadian company. Unfortunately, Canadians educational institutions know that the English spoken by international students is not enough but, they send them an acceptance letter from the institution so they can come and study in Canada. So, the real problem are the Canadian public colleges and Universities accepting people with a poor English level from overseas. Canada is a great place to be but, this kind of actions make their productivity poor which is in reality the problem behind the bad economy development when compare with similar developed countries. So, your mon should first blame its own country policies and educational institutions rather than international students for that kind of behaviors when they are students. Also, you should put your self in their shoes, learn German and go to Germany and see how easy is to manage to get a waitress job only in German in a city like Cologne. And then remember that this international students are bringing 20k from their countries economy to Canada each one yearly. Know, think how many Canadians bring 20k yearly to India or Nepal... Problem with Canada is colleges and universities are not funded like US. For Engineering and STEM, US government and private companies like Intel/Microsoft/Qualcomm and many more spends million on research projects, and although US does rely on international students to fund students its not desperate like Canada. Besides, US has many college towns, no housing crisis like Canada and has robust economy. I studied in US free of cost with monthly stipend, fully funded by one such research grant. \nStudents should also realize sooner or later, especially in tech, that countries like Canada, NZ, Australia and UK are no. match for the United States. But then Indian students know in US they would never get green card. Canada/Australia/NZ were built like colonies, they don't have infrastructure- cities, roads, houses, airports, hospitals or even good colleges for such heavy immigration. They can take only limited immigrants in small busts.

Toronto people complain that really all they get is two, true warm months of summer. June is sort of warm, but it can be cold at night and suffer cold snaps. Finally warm August comes to an end. While many Americans to the south struggle through an Indian summer of continued high heat into September and even early October, September brings the cold temperatures back to Canada, not yet freezing, mind you, but full autumn where the jackets have to come out and you don't see the welcome, warm, sunny sunshine and the ability to sit outdoors wearing thin clothing.

I want to live in a little in a diverse community. My neighborhood in Scarborough is 90% Indian or Middle Eastern. When you have so many people of one ethnic group they do not assimilate but form a mini ghetto town They were telling us what to wear and what to learn. Secondly, Canada is full of vagrancy. I really dislike Canada now because it is so segregated and overly progressive. A large portion of Chinese and Indians are not a fabric of society and are outsiders in their own ethnic enclaves. I already left, and so are many fellow Canadians like me. Third world country folks will try to land a PR (permanent residency) in Canada (by masquerading as a 'student visa') as a holding ground. Once they obtain it, they will try to move to the USA on a work visa. It's a loophole being exploited by Indians, Arabs, and Filipinos. Non-third world country folks like and Mainland Chinese and some South Koreans & Japanese, will do the same on living in Canada then find ways to move to the USA from Canada. Sorry, but Canada is turning brown. California, New York, New Jersey, Illinois are filled with Indians and middle easterns, and same goes for most of Europe. I immigrated to Canada in 1992 and I left Canada last year and moved to Spain. The best thing I ever did. Canada has become dictatorship under the Trudeau regime. Too many immigrants abusing the system and trying to make Canada like where they came from, particularly, East Indian and Muslims. They refuse to integrate and adapt to Canada.

You fail to see that many Indian IT employees see Canada as a Stepping stone till the US Visa gets cleared . I know many fellow indians who first work for microsoft in Canada , then once they have canadian PR moved to microsoft headquarters in US. Same is true for Indian students . It is easier and cheaper to get a MBA or Masters in Electrical engineering in UToronto than in a top US university . Most Students who travel to Canada for education , leave for jobs in US .

Unfortunately, Most Indian are grown up with such a mentality when they are grown up with highly division of labour and pretty reluctant to do things with own hands. In Canada, It's culture and called handy man skills. Plus, there are colleges too, where people get great career in so many fields but again, you gota be handy man. The attraction and the charm of living abroad is no longer there.\nOur country has improved so much and so fast in the last 10 years, we have good bathrooms in schools and other public places, which was not there previously. Only drawback in our country is the traffic and infrastructure, which will also become better, but will take time, because of our country's population.\nIn fact you will find servants and watchmen all coming to work in a bikes or scooters, which was unthinkable some years back. I'm not Indian, I'm indigenous from Canada and I grew up in Vancouver, where the population is mostly from Asia. Being surrounded by people of asian descent is very normal for me. I don't expect anyone to assimilate and lose their culture to exist here. I knew we had a large population of Sikhs here but I didn't think it was nearly as many as in India... and now I find out there are more sikhs here than in India. Amazing. I also didn't know we had so many Sikhs in parliament, let alone Indians. My school is mostly Indian and everyone I talk to has come from Punjab. Everyone seems to love it here, and the school is in the middle of little Punjab so I've been told by my classmates it is the perfect place for the students who are homesick because they are surrounded by their community. I rarely hear English when I walk down the halls, there is even a course to learn to speak Punjabi, which I want to take so I can talk to the students who don't speak English as well. We have many large gurdwaras, and one near me I've eaten langar almost everyday for the past 10 years. Most people here know Sikhs to be very generous and humble. It was a shock to me when I heard the president of Guru Nanak Gurdwara was shot, because I believed Sikhs to be very kind and peaceful, and the gurdwara has a very good reputation as they take lots of food into Vancouver and feed the homeless. They even opened a kitchen in the DTES during the pandemic to be able to have food available to the people immediately. No one else did anything like that. They delivered a lot of food. Now they have an auxiliary kitchen in the DTES permanently that serves free meals. I thought more news would come out of the shooting but it seemed quiet for a bit until Trudeau accused the Indian government of the attack. This news also shocked me, so I decided to start looking into it slowly. I couldn't really get a good idea of what was going on until I searched a video for Diwali and your videos came up. You are lying to the people about Canada or you don't know. West Africans, aka sub Saharan African are not the favoured group selected for immigration to Canada. So many West Africans in Toronto are working with InstaCard, Door Dash and doing Uber and Lyft. It is called the GIG economy. You are not in a stable job. The living standard is high in Canada, meaning even the poorest has access to a quality life through the Social Services govt system. Maybe you think that is living the good life equivalent or on par with a person of European ancestry who is at least 3rd generation Canadian and in over 75% of the cases have had a transference of Generational wealth.

Don't deceive Africans to move to Canada Infact they should acquire some funds to start a business or study to go back to Africa and move back to Africa entirely. schools in America and Canada are DAYCARE. they aren't Schools. also you seriously forgot to mention the rampant BULLYING that goes on., your child WILL be made fun of whether he is white black or any other race. dealing with that is scary frustrating and really hurtful. even priyanka Chopra was bullied as was I many many times by all races except Indian (I am Indian NRI living and working in New York City as a teacher in public and private schools including college courses for 20 years now). your children WILL suffer in the primary and secondary school systems here. Look as a product of an immigrant father myself, we simply can't afford to take care of the Canadians we have, never mind all these people who come to Canada with no jobs, no housing, no money, possibly no ability to speak English or French. Like it or not, our taxes are going up and our services are going down. The government is focused on GDP numbers as opposed to GDP per capita, which essentially means while our production numbers are artificially enhanced the quality of life per person is rapidly declining. We're talking about flooding Ontario with 500,000 new immigrants, God knows how many Indian paypigs... I mean students for colleges and universities, as our government is giving tax breaks to Atlantic Canadians and torturing everyone else for going greener with natural gas. We're living in a country where it is very possible to hold down multiple jobs and still be homeless in 2024 and we're talking about more immigrants? We can't afford the people we have now and we're talking about bringing in more? Who's building the homes for these people? The last couple million of immigrants who were supposed to build homes didn't build anything so now we're bring in more to build homes for the last couple million who were supposed to build homes plus Canadians who has been here for more than a July on a sidewalk.

I know plenty of Indians overjoyed to come here and make minimum wage. I know many born-and-raised Canadians looking to go abroad. Every single person from my generation that I know who was born in Canada is poorer than their parents were. They had homes and families, we pay half our income to rent a shared apartment. Everything is broken.

Reduce the immagrants to 100,000 no more Indians too many of them there are other countries. Canada is racist they only allow Indians and don’t allow others from other nations .

I don't get why so many indians think foreign countries can change their lives. You are an average student soo instead of hustling in India by doing fresher jobs, you go to Canada for expensive education from dubious colleges in hopes of getting a job ?\nI say that if you are talented you can make big in foreign countries but if you know you are an average Joe then you are just wasting money and time in Canada. It would be less torturous for you to just hustle in entry level sales job in India than going to Canada.

It absolutely drives me crazy when many ignorant and self-centered idiots show up in emergency for very trivial discomforts and expect to be served immediately. If that does not happens then declare Canada's health system worse than any third world country. India is main advantage that it can exports cheap laborers to other countries like France Australia etc where their govt agreed to replace their citizens by these Indians... Must take notes on Pakistan delicately balancing mighty and opposite countries KSA, US, UK and China... India is gaining newer enemies after Pak and China eg Ukraine dead against India now, Canada, Palestine, Turkey etc... Whereas Pak gaining new friends like Russia, Iran even Japan... Completely agree with you. I spent 6 years in Canada and quit. Both me and my husband are highly educated but had to end up with minimum wage jobs to begin with. Winters are brutal. 2013 we experienced minus 40 with snow storms !! And keeping urself PACKED in ur home for months is extremely depressing. Medical facility inspite of being free is a joke !! You are better off getting basic medicines from India. They want to fix everything with Tylenol, that too such low potency that even 20 pills will not make any difference. And just 1 crocin in India and you can run a marathon next day. Education too is pathetic. They need a calculator to add 5 +5 !! Here 6 yr old kids do mental mathematics on 4 figures in their heads !! No university in Canada can even come close to IIT'S, IIM'S and IISC ever. 12th std math and science here in India is probably taught to engineering degree students on Canada. Moreover only Asian kids like Indians, Koreans Chinese kids ever reach university level education the rest are dropouts and busy with sex and drugs and temporary jobs to fend for the same. Mind you there is a lot of racism in Canada. Most whites hate Asians as they think that we have 'snatched' away their jobs !! They don't like it when we end up buying own homes within 2 to 3 yrs of migrating. Grocery is expensive. Commercial dairy products are high on hormones and other chemicals. It's crazy how many women there have issues with their reproductive organs. Hormone related obesity, diabetes is rampant. As she said only if you go there thru a company on projects ect it's alright. Else there is no place like India in every aspect.

Am a kenyan Canadian and living in canada is the best decision I have ever taken. Lot of kenyan are paying agencies to come to canada through visit permit. People should blame agencies who promise them jobs not canada government . When you come to canada through visit permit you need to change to work permit or study permit. Actually there are thousands of kenyan who have come through visit permit and they are claiming refugee status. Canadian Government is doing its part by giving all claimed refugees shelter and give the money for upkeep. When you have visit permit you can't work in canada but you can convert it to work permit which is not easy but an expensive process. You need to get a company that can process you lMIA that labour market Impact assessment . You need skills to get a company to apply you Lmia or uende China ya maji you pay Indians who have companies in kenya $30-$40 to apply for you lmia. Or you can convert your visit permit to study permit and universities here are damn expensive. Getting a Canadian to marry you for status is very hard. In short am trying to say if you do not come through work permit or landed immigrants life wil be tough use the money you are paying agencies to start something in your country. They are so many opportunities in canada if you have the right papers or status. As for me am a happy single mom who as accomplished alot here and I love canada .
