As a Canadian citizen, I see that there are 3 major issues at play in this problem - \n\n1) Canadian colleges are starved off funds and do not have a sufficient, stable source of revenue. Hence they seek to attract international students who pay (at least) 4X the fee a Canadian citizen would pay. According to mainstream media such as The Globe and Mail, National Post and others, International students contribute some where between $15 to $18 billion per year in revenue to Canada. This is huge!\n\nSince this is a lucrative revenue stream for them, they have gone overboard and are providing strong financial incentives to education / immigration consultants to bring more international students here. Consequently, many existing as well as new colleges are encashing on this trend and diploma mills have mushroomed in Canada lately. This is ABSOLUTELY Canada’s fault and the accountability of fixing this lies with Canada alone.\n\n2. International students who come here often end up taking humongous debt or selling off their homes/ancestral property to be able to afford their education and hence they feel cheated when the dream they were sold doesn’t match the reality. \n\nHaving said that, International students do need to understand that they are here or a temporary visa and DO NOT get to dictate terms to Canada. It is Canada’s sole prerogative to extend their work visa or not, depending upon Canadians requirements.\n\n3. The Trudeau Liberal government benefits by giving these students extended work permits and a pathway to citizenship as it translates into votes for them. However this is an atrocious approach to winning elections and puts unnecessary pressure on the system. \n\nCanada needs to streamline this whole student visa process and take stringent action against these fake diploma mills, education and immigration consultants luring foreign students. It damages Canada’s reputation.\n\nLastly, extend the work permits of only those students that meet Canada’s labour standards and requirements and send everyone else back home.

Don’t waste your time get out as fast as you can take as many of your friends as you want no Canadian citizen for you get out. Don’t let the door hit you on the ass. Do you got a nice ass?

This international student thing has always been a popular pathway to PR status in Canada .\nThe government actually did promote it thought it a good idea to have young people after finishing their education to stay in Canada .\nIt was not a promise and not all would be excepted though \nObviously the policy was good for the schools but the government never considered the impact on Canadians cause they couldn’t care less .\nThe constant lie has always been Canada has too many jobs and not enough workers.\nThe recent 30 billion hand out to foreign automakers to set up EV factories proved what a lie that was when the government was willing to spend 3 million dollars to create one low skilled factory job obviously hard up for jobs .\nThere are videos on the net showing line ups of hundreds of people to try and get a job in a grocery store stacking shelves.\nTrudeau has destroyed Canada and most likely he will be gone but don’t expect the conservatives to be any different.\nPee Pee has never said he would slam the door shut in fact his only criticism of the Libs immigration policy was that it was taking too long to get people into Canada .\nCanadians are stupid they always vote in governments that screw them over time after time on all levels of government.\nThere is a party that would slam the door shut but they only got 2% of the vote in the last election.\nSo 98% of Canadians are stupid and they really deserve the country they have created for themselves.\nThis just didn’t happen recently it has been going on for years seriously where did Canadians think we were going to put all these people ?

Stop spreading lies about hate crimes committed against muslims. Please look at the statistics of any law enforcement body, e.g., the Toronto police department,FBI etc , add any year within the last 20 years. \nFor example, according to Toronto police statistics for the years 2020-2022, there were, 42, 55, and 63 hate crimes commited against Jews (hughest) 25, 47 and 48 committed against blacks, and only 4, 14, and 11 hate crimes committed against Muslims during those same 3 years. \nThat numbe of hate crimes committed against Jews is going to be off the charts after October 7th, but even so, in general hate crimes against Jews are blacks are the highest. Hi Tyler, I love your videos. What's my take on America? 10 years ago if you had asked me I would have moved to the States in a heartbeat! I was head over heels in love with New England. Loved the ocean, loved the seafood, loved the quaint New England towns... But then your politics took a turn for the worse and Trump was elected president. I was so shocked and disappointed that so many people supported this vile man. I know not ALL Americans support him but there are far too many that do and that scares me. I work in security and I’ve interviewed many international students who are looking for work. MANY (approximately 80%) are taking Business Management and attending colleges like Norquest College. Why are we not steering some of these students to different programs?

You pass by my old apartment in this video. I literally had to leave Brampton because im disabled and worked in mississauga and could no longer take the bus anymore because of the influx of students. The buses would literally drive right by you if you had a stroller or mobility aid because there's no way for people to navigate on the bus. Theyre so overcrowded, i imagine theyre running at over max capacity. I would watch elderly people who were even more disabled than myself get on the bus and the international students who were sitting in the disabled seatinv would look up at them and then back down at their phones. I would be yelling at them to give up their seats for other people while i stood on the bus leaning on a cane. They litterally do not care about anyone but themselves. And no matter how many times i complained to Brampton transit about disabled people not being able to properly use their services anymore, nothing came of it

I can’t imagine them taking those many lives and expecting to not be (at the Very Least) Deported..What would happen to a Canadian in India under these circumstances? Deportation back to Canada? I live in Brampton, there are many Indians here who are selling driver's licenses. You can buy one for a couple grand without having to take the drivers test. This is why our accident collision rates are so high in the city and Brampton has the highest drivers insurance rates in the country

No Canadian will take a macdonal job, not even teens, that is a fact. Another thing is that there is a shortage of high skill jobs, but most people has not that specific skill. Many provinces offer free training but only to Canadians, the ones that are not interested in this type of jobs. if there is 17000 positions that cannot be filled and 17,000 people unemployed it is i possible to use those unemployees to fill the open positions because they are not trained in that specific skill. Also companies ask stupid job requirements which make it more difficult.

Being an Indian immigrant myself (now a citizen), this is absurd. There's rules to follow. There's 3 problems as I see:\n1) The structure of the Canadian economy - heavily dependent on services, natural resources and real estate. Due to this Education has become a business. Colleges, Universities & Diploma Mills are more than happy to admit international students who pay 3 times the normal fees. \n2) Lack of a screening process - not taking in immigrants based on skill and education.\n3) Taking in too many immigrants from 1 ethnicity & region - the Indian state of Punjab, a region suffering from drug epidemic, alcoholism and crime. Not sure why you'd want low quality immigrants. If you notice all the protestors here are Punjabis. Canadian immigration is business in Punjab. Many immigration consultants here in Canada are Punjabis and have business links back home.

as someone who grew up in BC canada, I can give many more vital reasons its absolutely awful here. \n\n1) Poor health care: everyone thinks Canada is so great for free health care. Be ready to wait up to 12 hours in hospitals to be seen for 5 mins. Also, my aunt passed away from waiting on breast cancer surgery in BC.\n\n2) Poor infrastructure: Roads here have been the same since 1960s, but now we have millions more people. Rush hour traffic is insanity in vancouver and toronto.\n\n3) Inefficient roadwork: Road construction can take up to 10 years, they close the road and leave it, I rarely seen people work on it and it causes far more traffic\n\n4) government promotes laziness: My friend who is a doctor works 2 days a week, why? because why would he work more at far lower pay? it all goes to taxes anyways\n\nI can give many more reasons but this is getting too long

Tue there are many Indians. Many do really really well but what do Indian have to do with whites dying of addiction! Majority of the homeless in Canada are whites. Indians on other hand band together and survive. Thats why live appaling living conditions like 16 people living in same house. Since they are willing to do that some land do exploit them. Most of these landlords are Indian in Brampton and Chinese. However most dont complain because they are willing take pain save some money. Rather than complaining white learn that there better ways to survive rather than getting sucked in to drugs.

Who said they don't want to go home? Canada invites international students with a promise to give them PR if they can finish school and qualify using one of the programs. I know because that's how I came to Canada. Unlike the US where it's hard to stay and you need a marriage, in Canada you can use a qualifying job. Usually people sponsored by family to get PR, as well as refugees, are put ahead of international students as well as those on work permits. \n\nIn the meantime, International students over-pay into post secondary, as well as working off campus and paying taxes, but are always last in line when it comes to being granted PR. The rules change so much so fast, it's easy to find yourself out of time and kicked out of the country. \n\nSo whoever watches this will be happy that International students are getting kicked out, but the problem with too much immigration won't be solved because the country is still taking in so many refugees. Right now it's international students getting the axe and are the scape goats in ths game. \n\nAlso, the reason why Canada takes in more immigrants beyond the obvious, is because they want to eventually do away with property rights. So while people can cheer kicking out international students, it doesn't prevent the inevitable from happening, because the politicians took in too many new people.. \n\nAnyway, good luck to everyone, from either side of this debate, it's bad news all around wharever the final outcome.

I was an international Student....15 years ago. I paid about 30k in tuition A YEAR.. I was NOT allowed to work off campus, i was allowed to work ON campus for a maximum of 10 hours A WEEK...in order for me to maintain my Visa status i had to maintain a GPA over 3.5 AND i had to be enrolled in an accredited institution. Our international student department had a quota of how many students they could recruit from every country... Rent was affordable, jobs were aplenty and when it came time for an Internship companies would come do hiring fairs and fight to get students to want to work for them. Now they get about 60k applicants a year that are willing to work for free and taking away from actual citizens.\nAfter 8 years of working and grinding and stressing i earned the right to get a Permanent residence...i had to commit 3 years out of 5 to stay here and work here and pay taxes for me to become a Canadian ...it was the proudest day of my life. I was filled with a sense of achievement that has been shat on by these students. \nIf you or anyone would actually like to talk about how it should be feel free to reach out.\nI will tell you this for free...if a Canadian Citizen did this in my country .. they'd be on the first flight home.

You should look into how many ppl here on student visas or who have come in and claimed refugee status-ars in our shelters, and worse, taking spots in womens safe shelters from women fleeing abuse/violence. How is it someone here on a student Visa has zero resources to take care of themselves???

It's not the fault of the student's. They pay a lot to get here and they work in the service jobs that many young Canadians do not want to work in if we even have enough native born Canadians. They are victims of the greed of Post Secondary institutions and the mismanagement of the Trudeau government. Take a look at the open immigration policy for people coming from Iran, Syria and Morocco. Last time I looked Iran was not a friend yet we open the door to these countries. No vetting, no security and no age limit. 70 plus years old coming to Canada on Work Permits. This will affect our healthcare. Indian students paid and worked for their chance to live here. Take a look. Investigate the special programs for different countries in the middle east.

I thought everyone is leaving Canada voluntarily, I read so many news about how those international students complaining our government didn’t take good care of them, why don’t they leave Canada if they are not happy with Canada.

The man's of these temporary students are completely unreasonable and obviously many did not come to Canada to learn Canada has to show some balls now and until Canadians have a home to live in a job an educational opportunities a home to live in until these obligations are met and Canadians and former residents have all that they need only then should we be taking in others

Canadians should ask themselves this…how many Indians move to Brampton and collect welfare? Looks like Indians own the businesses in Brampton. That is immigration at its best. Indians appear to add to the economy and prosper. In US Mexican immigrants come to take welfare. Make babies, not get married as then man’s income is part of household and less $$from government, and collect WIC, food stamps, housing subsidies and monthly welfare checks. Indians are future of ??. \nHow many Canadians anyone can name working as top leaders in top companies of this world. Just try to Google who are CEOs of below top companies like Google, IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, Diageo, Arista Network, CHANEL, NetApp, Nokia, PEPSI Co, Onlyfans, Twitter etc etc. list is like never ending. We got Freedom from Britishers in 1947 and it’s not even a century and see how far we have come clearly shows the capabilities, potential & farsightedness of us Indians. We look for opportunities that’s why we are spreading all over the world wherever we see any. Future of world is Indians & Chinese. We both are culturally sound and capable enough to adopt & grow in any environment of any country. Today we are getting Engineers Doctors to Aeronautical Specialists to Labour in Warehouses, Manufacturing plants & Crop fields to Professors, Politicians to scientists, bankers, investment planners to Food retailers, Restaurants workers, City workers to Skilled workers. We are everywhere trying our best to shape the beautiful future of ours as well as of this country now. So better stop spreading hate towards us. You will regret later.

I'm Burmese and in my street there are so many Burmese but later, indian take over in my street and swearing us to get out, I'm really stressed out and can't even go out freely, i miss my people, I don't want to be rude but i don't get why Indian are everywhere?
