I am a Canadian Indian who came here in 1974, I was 8 years old when I came to Canada, back in my generation we respected the Canadian value system and culture and appreciation for the Country, we didn't come here with the mentality to dominate a country that accepted and open their doors to immigrants, I feel this young generations of today lack respect, manners, they have a strong sense of entitlement and a superiority complex that doesn't blend in with the Canadian culture please go back to India as it's not fair that we paid our taxes here for so many years and you come to take our jobs and dominate us and think you're so much smarter than Canadians if this is the case why are you flocking to our Country, please stay in your own Country and be better over there, this is not Indian so don't change the Canadian value system to be like India, I'm so disappointed with your unwanted behaviors and how you ruined our Country!

A Ukrainian immigrant here. Absolutely in love with beautiful canadian nature, cute little houses, especially townhouses in toronto, just so wholesome. As for life, you gotta be some sort of specialist like a doctor, or a proper construction worker, or a truck driver to have a decent life that goes beyond just getting by and eking out an existence. On my own i can make enough money for food and rent, but thats about it, and im happy about it, really, i get to be alive thanks to canada, but i really hope i could move out of here as soon as it becomes safe, or just move to a cheaper country thats a decent distance away from russia. I ended up being unemployed and i do feel like im in quite a real danger on eventually becoming homeless if i dont manage to procure a job, and you know how the job market is now. As for health care, i simply dont have access to it, at least i dont have a family doctor and have been trying for a while to get one. I haven't tried walking ins yet since i prioritize food over health now but i might someday. I just hope that whatever sickness bugs me is minor, i cant do anything about it. My teeth hurt too, but i cant afford a dentist, and ive found one Clinique in toronto that helps immigrants fix their teeth for cheap, they can help you with three teeth in total, and i've used up one of it, and saving the rest for real emergencies. I cant eat anything except for real soft food, and i know im not gonna get any help i could afford any time soon.\nOnce i get a job i will be saving as much money as i can to leave Canada, i don't know where yet but i'm doing my research and hopefully will find a place, and if not well, sucks to suck. It's hard for everybody out there, i'm just one of the millions if not billions who go through that.\n\nAlso I don’t think ‘nobody wants to live in Canada’ is entirely accurate. It seems that the idea of canada, and the way its marketed, attracts a lot of new immigrants, and a lot of people would love a chance to live in Canada. It's simply not true. But after the fact , once they have , i could believe that some are not willing to stay and might regret the decision of moving in the first place.

indians should stay in their country and leave the west alone, we have enough issue as it is. indians are not adding any value to western societies they are causing everyone headaches with their horrendous broken english and scams

It blows me away every time they exploit how “entitled” they’re! Alls I hear them say is me, us & I & feel they deserve to stay in Canada… They were really brainwashed on how it will come so easy to start a life here… The military needs to break up their encampments & I rather use our tax money to send them home, rather then use our tax money to fund them! I took a course recently & 95% were Indians new to Canada. Canadians are being pushed out of our own country !

People should adapt...its very wrong that you go to a country and make pockets of your community...that way Dubai is much much better!! Thats true cosmopolitan city...hardly any pockets where one type of people staying...I had russians, indians, arabs staying in same floor..

I am an EU citizen, moved initially from Romania to Czech republic, where I was for 2 years and then last year I decided to give Germany a try. Given that the SW engineering field that I am part of allows me to live comfortably in most EU countries, I am planning to relocate back to CZ or Romania within max 2 years. I was pretty much shocked to find out that compared to the costs, the salary isn't all that great vs living in a bigger Romanian city and that it's a complete downgrade vs Czech Republic, and I'm saying this as someone who lived in Prague of all places. \nOverall, salary aside, everything has been a downgrade for me vs Romania and significantly worse vs Czech Republic. \nI guess nationalist germans will be happy to hear this, one less immigrant willing to stay here and convincing others at the same skill tier to try any other EU country(minus bulgaria and austria).

Do like middle east country , you cant get nationality and passeport even if you stay all your life in the country even the children dont get nationality .

Trudeau says we need more people in health care, but we aren't bringing in the right people to fill those gaps. We are bringing in uneducated people to fill fast food jobs. That's not going to make Canada a strong economically stable country. Instead of pandering to the businesses that want to stay open 7 days a week and need these low level employees, it would be preferable to return to a system where everything isn't open 24/7 requiring all of these low level positions ti be filled.

Do these arabs not know about the “greater Israel” plan? Israel won’t stop at the Palestinians, they want all of the middle east as well as northern African countries currently occupied by muslim Arabs. I am a born and raised Canadian and have seen my country go downhill for at least the last couple of decades.\nHealth Care: doctors and nurses are moving Stateside in droves. No, the US doesn’t have universal health care but there are insurance plans and the care is enormously better. My girlfriend had 4th stage throat cancer. In Calgary the doctors at some point told her there was nothing more they could do for her and to get her affairs in order. Her father sent her to the Anderson Clinic in Houston - yes it was expensive but they treated her, saved her life and that was 24 years ago. \nIt’s common in our emergency rooms to wait up to 12 hours to be seen. \nOur system isn’t progressive and doctors and nurses don’t get paid near as well as in the States. That being said, I am happy that I don’t have to pay to see the doctor or have a stay in the hospital. \nCost of Living: Once upon a time it was good - housing was cheap and many companies had the full range of benefits and salaries were equal to the cost of living. Now these same companies have stripped the benefits by hiring people under contract so they don’t have to give them benefits. \nRents are through the roof and in Calgary there are no rent caps. Buying a decent house in a decent neighbourhood is impossible unless you inherit or make a six figure income. This, in no small part, has created a homelessness crisis that never had been seen in such numbers before. Crime also is getting worse by the day. Canada was once known as a safe country. This is no longer the case.\nEverything is very expensive and the tax very high. Plus, we have to suffer winter! Where I live, the joke is that we have two seasons - July and winter!\nI still like my city (not love) but I am retired and own two houses - one inherited and the other bought when it was affordable (32 years ago). Calgary would not be a place I would live if I was a newcomer. Vancouver is beautiful but you really pay for it. \nTrudeau has helped make a big mess of things with immigration and lax criminal laws. My beef is not with immigrants I must state - it is with the lack of jobs for them when they come, thereby forcing bad living conditions and an over reliance on the social systems. I add that the immigration population is much more willing to work in jobs they have to take (despite a high education) than our natural and bloated citizens.\nSo yes, Canada has increasingly gone downhill. On a positive note, hand guns at least are not legal and our country has beautiful natural land.

India needs to fix the population problem first and fix the problems in the country so their people will stay there otherwise in a 100 years there will be 2.4 billion people and they will keep moving to other countries like Canada and Canada’s population could then be like 1.4 billion ?

I am from the Balkans. I have been studying, living and working abroad since I was 18. Germany was the 7th country I moved to and the first country ever I felt unwelcomed at work- because of my Balkan origins. I must say I was rather shocked because being a very open, international professional with lots of experience, I thought something of this kind would never be even imaginable. However, outside of my work field I gained many german friends pretty quickly - friends for life ( no competition here, haha). 10 years later, I am still here and the situation changed to better - a lot. A mix of getting trust, learning the language, and getting more international colleagues. I am totally thankful to the health system - they saved my life. If I stayed in my country, I would have had serious health issues. I am thankful to the democracy, freedom of expressing, schooling system( so much better than in my times in Yugoslavia), salaries, and many other things Germany gave me. I am living a good life, best life any of my family members had in generations. I would like to stay here as long as it feels good for me and my family. Having a german father to my kids is however the strongest link to me feeling home in Germany -having a local within your family makes it all a lot easier.

This is never heard of. When I came to Canada as an international student in 2009, most of my classmates either stay, work and pay taxes, or they go back to their original countries. What has this government done?!

How stupid the government is? If a person comes to Canada as a student, he/she should be able to stay in Canada only as a student and during the educational term. Otherwise should be kicked out of the country ASAP! I don’t want my tax money to be spent for the international scammers! Enough is enough!!!

Canada should put 5 year temporary stop on International students from any country in world! This is will settle the excess that has got in and after 2029, Canada should resume International students. This will fix job crisis as it is imposible to get a job at Tim Hortons, AW, Subway and all franchise businesses. Just 5 year ban on any student who is not Canadian. This ban should be done in very thoughtful manner without insulting any country, citizenship, race, gender or anything. Sometimes you have to clean entire house and in order do that you have to ask people to stay outside house for some time.

Sorry but the answer is no. You are just a temporary student to study for some kind of degree or something and then take that knowledge back to your home country and apply it there.\n\nMaximum stay 4 years and go away unless you are doing doctorate then it's 7 years and go away

You come to this country as a student and claim asylum. DENIED.\nAlso if you come here to study you should NOT be allowed in unless you can prove that you have the financial means to cover all costs associated with your stay, tuition, housing, food. Foreign students should NOT be allowed to take jobs away from CANADIANS

Yup, I'm living for the day when Canada gets past this Liberal/Conservative duarchy that has brought the country to this. (But their big business buddies are doing well, so no problem, right?) If we'd invested in the future (healthcare, livable jobs...), maintained housing as a social good and not a profit-making sector, et cetera, over the past decades this would be one of the best countries in the world. Instead: This ?\n\nAs long as the Conservatives aren't allowed to dismantle the healthcare system completely my family will stay put (the pluses there still outweigh the minuses for now), but if they finish americanizing Canada's healthcare system we'll be leaving as well (just as soon as we can land jobs in Western or Central Europe ?). If those living in poverty and poor countries especially south america, woumd stop having aommany children it woukd lessen the burden. They wanna have one person working, be stay at home wife who sells treats on the side while having 3+ kids. They do same even once in america its a reoetitive cycle. Conditions are better here yes, but having 5 kids means you likely wont reach that better life the way you wanted. End up working laborious jobs for life

If you're poor, you'll stay poor, and vice versa.

It's funny that they want work permits to work in tim hortons and starbucks. Why would any country allow people who have only skills to pour coffee to stay in the country. Only worthy should stay and believe me worthy immigrants are less.

Sorry to hear you’re leaving Canada….I haven’t been watching your vids lately but will catch up. As someone born and raised in Toronto, I love being in Canada. I’m proud to be Canadian. Unfortunately, I am sad to say that we have been going so downhill ever since Trudeau and his gang of idiots came in AND the pandemic. It’s not really easy to maintain your finances here anymore, so many people are struggling in this country. You can’t really afford anything today, it’s so sad. I’m unhappy with what has been happening to our country and the state we’re in. As you said, problems have arisen and continue to plague this country, from crime, cost of living, homeless crisis and quality of life.\n\nIf other of my fellow Canadians are leaving this “great” country, that’s their choice. But I am staying here and going to deal with its problems. I love this country with all my heart, and I don’t think I would move anywhere to a different country. Yes anyone that moves out of here is your choice but….there’s no other great country in the world than here. I’m staying here and I think that’s a good thing. I will be here for the forseeable future and I love it here. I agree with your points and I wish you the best.

It's good for you to leave Canada. It has become a haven of drug addicts and homelessness. A country badly managed. I recommend Poland or Austria if you are going to Eastern Europe. Stay safe and be happy. Hope you find a great place to be your new home.

I completely agree with the answer That Foreign Minister has given. Why would our Palestinian Brother and Sister Should leave their motherland, It is their right to fight for their land. Every Muslim country knows if they starts taking Palestinian refugee then israel will take over the whole country. Thats what they want. Its what they want. I work in two trucking companies and many drivers are Indians and are always very nice to me. I don't have a problem with them coming here to Canada to live and earn a good living . BUT please obey the same laws as we have here in CANADA this is OUR COUNTRY not yours. If you cant obey by our laws than you have no rights to our country.\nThis is suppose to be a peaceful country BUT now its becoming a war zone for everybody from different countries entering here and thinking they can come and change our country good looks and laws to fit them.\nWell I say you don't like our laws than go back to your country and stay there. Look at the level of English, they don't even know what the sign means and TRUCK DRIVING is a skill set( I don't know that). Plus why they consider they can stay as long as they want and now when they getting their asses kicked out of Canada they are crying like a baby, Some one do hate the comment but the thing is what the thing is. no matter what someone promises you, the rules are well documented. minor due diligence and you'd know how long you'd get to stay etc. I have nothing against them and most seem to be hard working smart people and would be a great addition to Canada. But people who try and force their way against the laws of the country don't deserve any special treatment. Id give them a warning and if they reoffened you deport them.

No meaning of this protests. All got min 5 to 6 years stay at canada legally and if their visa period going to complete and they are unable to get the pr then simply return to their native countries instead of deportation order from the Government. If deportation stamp affixed in the passport then most countries will not allow visa in future.

Why the indians dun stay in their great mother ciuntry and build a beautiful india ? Why the best always flood other countries ?
