Canada and many such countries who have their economies running because of Indians working there, are recently being unnecessarily racist , rude and disrespectful to them. Please give it a thought, to stay back in India and live with dignity,until these countries learn to respect us.

As a South African Indian, I am frequently embarrassed by the raucous and immature behaviour of many tourists from India. South Africans have learnt discipline, Indians from the subcontinent appear to have missed this lesson. Apart from their clannish nature and biased view of other people of colour, Indians need to learn humility- not just preach it, but practice it. It may appear like a minor issue to you, but it certainly portrays you in bad light. The world has become an intolerant place. Having money doesn’t make you more tolerable. Drop the cocky attitudes and practice patience- it may just change the bitter taste Indian tourists have left in the mouths of many people around the globe.

Where is the 5th estate when Canadians travel 1-2 hours, on transit to get to class...or have 1 or 2 jobs to pay for their education because asking or expecting their parents to pay is simply not an option and also doing their own due dilligance before jumping in with both feet??? \n\nI say its a shame their so gullible but whining about it won't change things...chalk it up to lessons learned and good luck to you when leave....

But in general even if the visa applicant is educated and valid reason to travel, the visa gets rejected and no valid reason is given. \n\nEducation and civic sense issues are there, but not everyone is from that class, so cannot generalise. \n\nWe as Indians must learn to talk well about ourselves.

The international companies I believe learn the hard way lesson by hiring low quality cheap manpower which badly ruined their corporate reputation due to low standards services & products produced. Boing is one example which lost its long earned reputation on quality in just few years.

As a Pakistani, I understand that Indians, Bengalis and Pakistanis are considered by Europeans and Americans to be immoral. And it is also a fact that the people of these three countries of South Asia are extremely dirty and rude. Behaving like a goody good will only get you more disrespect. If you want your visas approved and respect from others, respect yourself. Hold your passport and your head up high. Palki’s logical arguments are mostly spot on. However, I am surprised that she asks this question but doesn’t not answer with sound reasons so the people can learn and improve. The reasons for rejections may *possibly* be due to the number of Indians than have over stayed their tourist visas or due to illegal entry or international students that have not returned but rather stayed back illegally. Also possibly due to certain behaviours against women or cheating/corruption practices taken to the new country. Palki should do that research and then present based on evidence which she usually does a great job with.

Modi was rejected US VISA in 2025 for a reason. Stop the corruption and exploitation of the innocent. Improve the culture and HDI of the country. Focus on developing yourself. And the newsreader should learn the difference between speaking with confidence and arrogance.

I support the rejection rate. India should learn to assimilate and respect the country they are visiting or moving.

It's very contradicting to hear that Hindus are the most law-abiding citizens, highly educated, good jobs, helping in their society. And now, I am wondering who these Nepotism ones are using Indian passports and from where the negative accusations are from. Who are the culprits in these cases, and don't forget there is also lots of hate created toward Hindus, their way of life, temples, being headans, not belonging to the abrahamic majority in any of those countries.\nMy sincere advice, don't visit abrahamic countries at all. They have broken, severed, you from your own culture, taught you to be like them, yet they all refuse you like you should not exist, not someone or something like them. Why doesn't anyone just wise up and stay in their own habitat? First Indians should learn behavior and civic sense when traveling abroad and then complain about visa rejections. All foreigners feel uncomfortable around Indians.

Indians need to drop certain behaviors when they leave India and learn how to behave in the west. Maybe then, some countries may reconsider their visa formalities. I’m predicting that SE Asian countries are going to soon remove visa on arrival status for Indians because of their tactless behavior exhibited for all to see.

We have like idiots and uncultured people outside. We shout like idiots, treat the locals poorly. I once saw a person who thought the air hostess in a Bhubaneswar- Thailand flight was a prostitute and started touching her and taking pictures. I had to look elsewhere in shame and hated for being born in India among such people. \n\nSo yeah, learn from Japanese or Thai or other well cultured people to behave well, be kind, have humility before asking for travel ease.

I think the rabid immigration should stop as it will damage Indias reputation even more especially with the quality of people who are going abroad. The countries who give them visas are fully aware that there are universities that earn them forex but this could be really damaging to their countries. What happened in Canada is of course an extreme case and other countries can probably learn from it \n\nAlso India should restrict exit and not give out loans to people who do not intend to return. That will also help curb some of the illegal exits.

Ethics and civil behavior is needed in India itself. If people travelling in planes with a bit of money start to think they can get away with any kind of sh** then sorry but this is bound to happen.\n\nI saw behavior of some while travelling to Malaysia how some of them were just demanding business class upgrades because they had a child. Another who just sat in one seat thinking he can get away with it and gets into an argument with the stewardess. Pathetic behaviour really. It is sad we did not invest much either in our families own and in schools to correct this. We should learn how to behave in public by the Japanese. They are the gold standard.

This is one thing we should learn from japan from very young age. To treat others with respect, keeping surroundings clean , civic sense . Even our 20-40 year olds need to learn these things .
