It is said that if America imposes a tarrif on Canada, then Americans will pay more for Canadian goods. Possibly electricity too. Now, if Canada mirrors the actions of the US, then Canadians will have to pay more for American goods. So we are all just hurting ourselves in a way. Don't you love modern leadership? Mexico and Canada's exports are 70-80% to the USA while we only export 13-14% to them. This means most of their economy relies on the USA and only a small of ours rely on theirs.
