Canada is running a racket. Thousands of immigrants come in, bring with them funds from their mother country to sustain themselves, can't get jobs and then leave after having thrown away all that hard earned money. But who benefits? The Canadian economy!!

Inability to get into the real estate market unless $$$ was brought in as an investment. This will leave locals and people who were born in Canada left out for good even further. \n3. Extremely competitive job market. Newcomers will have to suffer for a long time to break-in. \n4. Depression and drug addiction is everywhere. It's more deadly than covid but the government can't address the problem because they lose control for good. \n5. Canada is far away from many other places, which makes things worse as you feel trapped in a workcamp with no place to escape. \n6. The cost of living is getting much faster with the salaries significantly behind year after year. \n7. Canada became the country of failed government, failed multiculturalism, too tolerant as a result. \n8. Retirement in Canada will be impossible for 95% unless you agree to live in the middle of the nowhere until depression kills you. \n9. Many who came to Canada 25+ years ago and still around felt trapped. Canada's source of immigration will likely be the poorest communities who will agree to put up with everything listed above just to get out of where they live right now. \n10. Sad, but true. I have seen a steady decline in Canada since 1998. Things get worse every year.\nAmen to that. I'll be visiting Lviv in 2025 for the first time since 2000 to check on my apartment in the city centre, not far from my Alma Mater LPI. I THANK GOD every day I didn't sell it and so I have a place for retirement!

If it is at all true that foreign students are going to the food banks to get food then what the heck are they doing coming here. The food bank shouldn't be abused like this . And then they say that they should not come to Canada to get education. If they can't afford to come here then get an education else where . The food banks are for Canadians first and it is getting harder to feed the rising need for those Canadians. Using a system that was not set up for foreign students is not right. What next. Tuition free housing free. Do it on line and stay away.

Absolutely not !!!\n However, corruption and mismanagement is eating 60-70 % of Canada's revenues\n As an Example : Canadian oil is giving away to American companies almost for free in return of of a royalty fee 3-5% , so, American sell our crude for $100 per barrel but Canada gets only $5 from this $100 , same thing is happening in our mining industries : Gold , Copper, Uranium. \nBecause, Canada DOES not have enough refineries to produce its gas it needs therefore, it has to buy it from USA at a market price !!!\n Canadian electricity is more worse, Qc sells its electricity To USA at 3cents per KWH\nthen Ontario buys it from USA at market price 50-75 cent per KWH\nCanadians are ripped off : for every Dollar the government gives to a special needs or welfare candidate, the government spend $10-$20 to manage this ONE Dollar, things are more worse with natives : the government spend $20 to $30 to manage each Dollar a native candidate gets !!!!!\n Probably !!!!!! Now , You know the reasons behind Canadian 's poverty symptoms including homelessness !!!!!

Why? You don't work hard to get ahead in this country anymore. You work to try to hang onto whatever standard of living you currently have, while it slowly slips away. Depressing.

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. Taxes are high definitely and what I feel is you’re working to make someone else’s life easier. \n(P.S: people who’ve stayed in Canada will understand who I’m implying to)\nNo one wants to be your freind, scope of socializing is zero coz mostly it’s cold round the year so everyone hardly come out, especially in Northern provinces like Yukon, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.\nHealthcare is a joke. If you feel sick and not well and you wanna see a doctor be prepared to wait for hours and hours. I once had stomach infection and I had to wait 5 hours till someone could see me. I asked for painkiller at-least so I could bear the pain but they refused that as well. You might well see someone you love dearly and with whole heart die in-front of you and you could do nothing. (I’ve experienced it myself hence saying)\nYou’re a lone survivor who’ll always keep fighting. \nThe only person who can make money here is businesses and high paid jobs which are reserved to Canadians. That’s how Canada’s job market is. Canadians’ first and if there’s something left they’ll look at you. By the amount of money people invest here they can establish a nice business back in their country itself and earn accordingly on own terms. \nMost importantly you’ll cut yourself from all emotional supports like family, freinds etc.\nI was social person back in India who liked making new freinds and memories but it’s nothing like that here. \nAnd it’s the same life, no different.\nYou wake up, dress, eat, go to work, come back, eat, sleep. No different.\nNo fun and nothing. You actually don’t live in present, you live in an expectation of a better tommorow.\nYou’ll always have a smile when you greet someone but I guarantee you no one’s gonna check on you to if you don’t start a conversation even with a simple “Hi”. Mostly Canadians are nice but again some will systematically judge you and say nothing but you’ll see in their actions, the way they’ll talk in a twisted way etc.\nYes I’m not saying that Canada’s bad or it’s no good but trust me it will take forever to build a life here especially with the number of people moving here from round the world. \nIf you’re well off financially from back home Canada’s a paradise for you. Indeed it’s a beautiful country with lots of beauty and lots to explore but remember everything comes with a cost here. Everything comes with a cost. People need to stop believing in this fake illusion and come only if they got a purpose here. The only reason why they’ll let you in the country is for money and once you’re in you’ll have to keep spending, doesn’t matter if you’re broke or whatever you have to.\nOnce I earn I’ll happily give up my PR status and go back to India as i very well know what the situation is how it’s gonna be in future.\nSo just one piece of advise to every middle class person like me, guys please invest and spend your money wisely coz we know how hard it is to earn and it’s high time Canadians start appreciating what immigrants like us do for them by burning ourselves day and night and start realizing that their past generation once came from some other part of the world as well and settled here. Being white doesn’t make you a nice Canadian, you’re actions defines you more than your words. \n90% of this country is built by immigrants and that’s how it’s gonna develop in future, so if they keep treating us the same way good luck to them ?.\nAlso a plus note to anyone thinking that Asians are stealing your jobs, go get outside and have the balls to face them and take it away from them. I have lived in Spain for years and now live in the UK, I can tel you Spain was ever better in teams of infrastructure and recently visited ontario Toronto and Brampton areas in Canada, my goodness I was blown away with the difference and the life styles in Canada it was amazing still can't get over it, am already working on getting a truck license and finish my it course. I saw a TV commercial where a female immigrant was crying and complaining about her terrible life here in Canada. She stated that she can't find a job because she doesn't have the training to do the jobs. Its funny when people talk about the quality of Canadian health care. For example, BC Cancer is one of the best in the world. Canada is on the cutting edge of many health care procedures. Yes, its hard to get a primary care physician but that is because the US is throwing enormous amounts of cash at Canadian doctors and nurses. Canada still keeps up pretty darn well especially when considering Canada has only a FRACTION of the US population and much fewer resources and funds available. My family has never suffered from our health care system in the past 60 years. 1 family member had a quadruple bypass - no bills 2) cancer - no bills 3) emergency c-section w air transport to city 400 mils away - $360 for air ambulance 4) emergency appendectomy - no bills 5) Heart atttack w stint - no bill 6) MRI and CATscans - No bills 6) 3 ADHD diagnosis w mental health care support - no bills 7) industrial accident with crushed hand - no bills 8) Electrical accident with burns throughout body - no bills 9) burns from an oil fire - no bills 10) fall into fire pit w subsequent 3rd degree burns on leg - no bills 11) leg amputation from type 1 diabetes - no bills. And then there are all the little things that happen day to day. In each event, we received top notch care and services. So, you might earn more in the US but we save more in Canada and very few suffer from it. A lot of complaints? Most bad experiences are shared whereas positive ones are not. I think if people on both sides really looked, the US health care fails many more people per capital on a daily basis than in Canada. US insurers are known to abandoned people when they become overly expensive and its not unusual to not have choices in drugs or care options.

I only left at 51 and wished I'd hv started 3 decades earlier ? Hv been on the road for 9 yrs, covered more than 30 countries where I get to work & enjoying literary every corner of the beautiful planet instead of paying up to my nose for nothing in Vancouver, tho I used to love my city to the moon... not to mention months of wet & miserable winter & how cold & edgy people are these days and don't even talk to me about the evil woke culture where our PM along with all the elites are secretly trying to imprison all Canadians where these blood suckers will drain u high & dry whereby they live in cloud nine themselves! Since moving away I've decided to live only a few months in each country I visit but in spite of moving around once every few months yet I managed to save 2-3x more in comparison to when I was working just to pay all the bills where I could never earn enough to own a home in Vancouver, ever! I still hope for massive turn around for the country I love yet I'll encourage anyone to get out of your comfort zone and u shall be surprised by all the experiences money can never buy u! Don't be afraid as life has much more to offer outside of our comfort zone really!!!

Came to Canada in 2008 (to Quebec). Got my family doctor (a team of doctors in the polyclinic) last year. Same for our kids, born here. Canada also doesn't acknowledge medical degrees or experience from other countries. They protect the salaries of the doctors by artificially limiting the number of doctors that can practice. Therefore doctors leave Canada... Electrical engineers also should avoid QC if they don't speak fluent French... Quebec is discriminating against the English speaking community and gets away with it. Anglophones in Quebec are also subject to higher unemployment...

Canada is a great country if you wanna be a dependent slave to the government. No guns, free speech is policed and your children can be taken away if you dont agree with them taking hormones and having their genitals mutilated. America isnt perfect but id rather the US then living in a country run by far left wing idiots. Also Canadian healthcare is very overrated. Sure its free but you might die waiting for life saving treatments because the government doesnt want to allow any form of private healthcare if its already “provided” by the government. Most of the gun violence in the US is in the lower income neighborhoods and at least you’re allowed to defend yourself. In Canada if you defend yourself, straight to jail. If you have evidence of self defense youll be ruined by the legal fees. It's not just the cops that are armed, everyone you see is probably armed, legal or not! The atmosphere is dispicable. I will never go back! But Canadian education is not a lot better than in the States. Most people can't go to University here, but you can't get a decent job without a degree. \n\nWhy does Canada lag so far behing Europe? Because of the American influence. The right wing has destroyed the country and turned us into America Part 2. And the Conservatives have become EVEN MORE EXTREME ever since Trump darkened all of our doorsteps. \n\nIf I had my way, we would cut the continent off at the US border and paddle away toward Europe. Completely agree with you. I spent 6 years in Canada and quit. Both me and my husband are highly educated but had to end up with minimum wage jobs to begin with. Winters are brutal. 2013 we experienced minus 40 with snow storms !! And keeping urself PACKED in ur home for months is extremely depressing. Medical facility inspite of being free is a joke !! You are better off getting basic medicines from India. They want to fix everything with Tylenol, that too such low potency that even 20 pills will not make any difference. And just 1 crocin in India and you can run a marathon next day. Education too is pathetic. They need a calculator to add 5 +5 !! Here 6 yr old kids do mental mathematics on 4 figures in their heads !! No university in Canada can even come close to IIT'S, IIM'S and IISC ever. 12th std math and science here in India is probably taught to engineering degree students on Canada. Moreover only Asian kids like Indians, Koreans Chinese kids ever reach university level education the rest are dropouts and busy with sex and drugs and temporary jobs to fend for the same. As a Newfoundlander who likes hunting and agrees with having the right to protect yourself, not all Canadians hate the USA. I just wanted to mention one strong opinion and my own and many other NRI experience on Delhi ?? international Airport while doing immigration. Its my very own experience when an immigration officer threw away my Real brother's indian Passport just because there was something missing on immigration form. Me and my brother felt so much insulated. Then i decided to surrender the Indian Passport and get the Canadian passport just bcz they were treated well by officers. Im very much surprised to see the all of sudden patriotism of indians. Im sure so many people relate with this humiliation. ???

Punjab per captia is 2500 while Chandigarh per captia is 5200dollars … Punjab university , Chandigarh university , Punjab&haryana high court , punjabi music industry , punjabi film industry , punjabi politician , punjabi students has all shifted to Chandigarh , majority of business that operate in Punjab are headquartered in Chandigarh, the IT companies that were reaching Punjab had limited to Chandigarh .. even though Punjabis live in Chandigarh but this output is added separately coz it was turned into UT. I know some people will come no no Haryana also has no capital but Haryana number are more on paper coz Delhi spreads its legs ( NCR). I was elated and excited... yours crushed me in a good way! \n\nOne thing I'm taking away from here is that I've got to be auper aggresive, go to a city thats going to be easy to get this LMIA jobs... i mean i have paid 350k for sponsorship and the $185 for the normal process... no turninf back now... I live 40 minutes away from Toronto , but it takes 3 hours to get there.

I would suggest if anyone is thinking of moving away from home and especially to Europe of the US to do the research, get the know the pro and cons of that country, don't go there cause someone told you it's a nice country to go. And when one comes, get to know the rules and regulations of the country,how taxes works, either you go back and get educated, don't just come and start working without the government knowing that you exist, pay taxes, all I can say life abroad is not easy, but one can make it, if you do the right things, and remember someone else's opportunities are not yours,so find what works for you.

As a tradesman I can tell you the majority of guys working in Toronto don't live there. I knows some crews that come from 2 to 3 hours away and stay in hotels Monday thru Thursday then head home for the weekend. These guys earn 6 figure incomes but with kids and other regular expenses they can't afford toronto living. As for the daily situation on the streets its a manifestation of terrible management. Fiscally toronto is broke. Yet city hall is enamored with wokism and virtue signaling while people die on the streets in random knife attacks, drug overdoses, gunfire and suicides. They look the other way and spend rheir time pandering to special interest groups and professional activists. So....after living here for 40 plus years my assessment is it's going to get worse much much worse. Arrogance and lack of guts to fix problems will lead toronto down a path similar to Baltimore, or Detroit. It'll take years but it's going that way.

To Everyone bad mouthing Toronto I got a few thoughts to share. First off I’ve lived in Edmonton all my life. But growing up there were two constants in my life almost every summer. 2 places where I could get away have fun not come back for weeks or even months on end. One of them was Toronto . That trend has continued into my 40s.\nSecond I don’t consider Edmonton home. I consider Toronto and my other favourite place my homes always have always will.\nThird Toronto like Every other city has bad and great things about it. But the great things far outweigh the bad things. Yes Toronto is big. But it’s also beautiful vibrant majestic lovely a sight to behold once you visited it long enough. You got the blue jays you got the cn tower you got a lot of stuff no other city has. Toronto is my dream city. It’s where dreams can actually turn into big dreams That result in major success. Now rent is $2,500 for a 1 bedroom. Even with a modest 50k salary you barely getting buy. You need to make 100k in Toronto just to live a basic life. In Canada, more than half of people's income goes to rent or mortgage. This country has been bought and sold to the real estate. This is what happens when everyone treats real estate as an investment instead of a basic necessity. But enjoy your sky high property values. A house costs 1 million dollars now. Guess Canadians are all millionaires.

Ive lived in Toronto for 20 years, it's continuously been getting worse, more expensive prices and higher crime and homelessness.\nI would recommend everyone stay away from Toronto, its a disaster.

Diversity is our strength. Think of all that we gain from being home to the best of all that is available from these diversified cultures. Think of all of the worst that we also gain from so many of those diversified cultures. When we import people from all around the world, we import, along with all of the good, all of the bad. What is culturally and morally acceptable in a great many of these foreign countries, is NOT acceptable in Canada. However, our accepting liberal society has a solution for that, we simply change to meet the ever moving social and moral target. This is why our Prime Minister gets away with stating that Canada has no national identity or culture worth preserving, since we just accept and then change to suit.
