Friend lives in a small town. She was excited that there was a new Dairy Queen opening up. Figured she could get a part time job there. Nope, Indians bought the building, bought the apartments upstairs, and aren’t hiring anyone because they brought all of their own people. When is this crap going to stop? They are moving into condos now. Only a matter of time before they move their entire families into condo buildings and take the whole thing over. All rental listings on market place in greater Vancouver are Indians. Great country. What a shit hole.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. I couldn’t afford to continue living in my own country, so I simply left and moved to the French Riviera, where I have a sea view apartment for the same price as a soiled mattress inside a Toronto crackhouse. Good riddance Canada!

I used to pay $450 for a very beautiful and spacious 1 bedroom apartment on Vancouver island. That was about 20 years ago. Now it’s minimum $1800.

No the rent situation was not always high in Canada . Look at the rents in the mid to early 70’s in Toronto : 100-150 for a 1 bedroom. Try renting a one bedroom in Toronto for less than 2500 now not easy.\nIn 2001 I payed 425 for a bachelor apartment right now it’s around 1800-2000 a month . Did the salaries go up 5 times not even close .

BC is extremely expensive to live there. Average rent in Vancouver $2500 a month and that an average apartment nothing special. Even in surrounding areas like Abbotford, Mission fraservalley as it’s called Rents are very high. You won’t get a house under 1/2 million or more. But hey it is beautiful for sure

Im an indian and in COMING SOON to canada. I will bring my whole extended family too! We will pack 12 of us into a one bedroom apartment and cook up a huge pot of CURRY every night that will stink up the whole building and you will never get the smell out of the walls. there is too much immigration so its a good thing if they leave for canadians. the housing cost a fortune now and its hard to find an apartment so its good if we can have more for us. i think many organization are lying to immigrants and keep them coming here. thats one of the problem for them. they dont say the truth about economy and the problems in canada. we can blame Liberal party and Justin Trudeau for the mess in the last years. there is a huge housing problem but he keep immigration level up without doing much to fix the housing problem.

Stop being racist for your own failures in life. Indians in the US UK AUS and Canada have the best education rates, their children excel in Math and Sciences, they have good family morals and values. They arent being handed everything like other communities. I have worked with all types and Indians, Chinese and Jews are successful for a reason. Richmond, BC is worse. The apartment buildings are being torn down for mostly empty investment condos. Whites are a tiny minority. Ten years ago a family member tried to mail a parcel at a SDM Post Office but could not as no one spoke English OR French.

The thing about this which pisses me off the most, is trying to find a rental accommodation and looking through thousands of apartment add's and only finding Chinese and Indian landlords, who don't even speak English and completely discriminate against Canadians, won't rent white people apartments etc... \n\nWe are absolutely invaded, and Canadians are being replaced..\n\nCanadians, how do you feel about this?????

Trust me Canada is the land of scams not milk and honey where you come here earn pennies and pay in thousands then go in debt and depression and that’s if you find a decent job. No matter where you work and what you do, you are not going to be able to afford life here. Rent is extremely high and it’s everywhere around the nation not in a particular spot or city. Buying a house became a dream. People are living on top of eachother like pickles in houses or apartments due to high housing prices. And what make it worse are the wages. It is pathetic that the average income here is roughly 3,000 dollars where most of money is going to rent. The only people that are living high quality life here are people who are living on child benefits plus welfare and cash money. My recommendation is move out of the country ASAP before it is too late. It’s a trap..

Canada needs a strong and forward looking government, and streamlined legislations. Sorry for the affordability issue but Canada is the second largest country by land size. I'm a 28 year old Canadian, I don't want this to come off sounding like a pity party, so I'll keep it brief for all and any of those thinking of moving here. I live with my parents because I could never afford the rent (and I don't even live in a major city like Toronto); my buddies moved in together and paid 1600 a month for a SMALL 2-bedroom apartment and they STRUGGLED to find an apartment. everyone I talk to is struggling and scared about their mortgage payments. My parents built a new home just a few years ago and got screwed over at every turn and on every level, their only saving grace was that their lumber package was locked in so they didn't have to worry about the lumber inflation. the job market is straight up trash and we're taxed through the teeth for every little thing. On the news we see stories about immigrants having to go back to their country because they can't afford to live here or find affordable housing. don't move here, it's shit.

This is false, the cost of rent was never like this. A simple secretary could afford a 4 bedroom apartment in the 60s, 70s and 80s.

1:25 the thing with that is EVERYONE is coming to Toronto because Vancouver's too expensive and Montreal is French which isn't as useful a language as English (unless you speak French then you'll probably go to Montreal)\n\nNormally this wouldn't be an issue but since the housing laws are so bad we cant get as many apartments as we need for these immigrants making housing prices skyrocket
