All Sikhs - this is not Punjab. Please follow rules of that country. Even in India except from Punjab anybody can questions us Sikhs…so let’s not give them reason. A long time back when I started working in Mumbai I came to know from a localite that a license is required for Kirpan! I was so surprised as I was from Punjab and to me that seemed really absurd. But later I understood other people don’t understand our religion and that we are NOT engaging in any fight with Kirpan…even after others are educated of our religion it is better we don’t display Kirpan in public and follow the rules of that state or country.

This situation is indeed concerning. I am an immigrant, and I entered the country through proper channels. The current state of affairs is not acceptable. Without specifying names, my workplace has recently hired a significant number of people from South America, thanks to policies that granted them a five-year visa, food stamps, and free medical care insurance.\n\nThe workplace environment has deteriorated noticeably, with garbage littering the floor, and a lack of adherence to the rules. During my breaks, I cannot even find peace in my car because some individuals are smoking marijuana and the smoke is blowing towards me. To make matters worse, someone damaged my car on private property, and when I asked for their insurance information, they responded with profanities in Spanish and fled the scene.\n\nAs an immigrant, I came to this country with the intention of being an asset, not a liability. It’s crucial that we have a president who can address these concerns without fearing the demands of any specific minority group.

This is not India. this is another country and you have to abide by the rules of that country .

Firstly it’s not easy but at the end of it is would have been worthwhile it especially for your kids. Besides 2 months is too early to judge and make such a big decision. Lastly no one calls people to their country it your choice… you should be grateful you had family it was way easier for you. Fixing things is something you do anywhere in the world. Basement stay was a choice you should rent a house if you could afford it. Education system has changed world wide. Job should be an affiliate certification world recognized if not you start a level lower. Like u said your kids it was good that is the reason you should have stayed. Road rules again worldwid. It's nice to see an American reaction that is not knee-jerk, jingoistic patriotism. A lifetime of visiting American cousins (upstate NY!, Michigan, Cali, Texas) that wrap themselves in the flag and declare the US 100% better for everything made me expect a very different video.\nCanada is no longer all that great, but ... top 10% of income / wealth you're better off in the US (but for MOST people the extra wealth doesn't buy happiness).\nNext 25% is about the same, your quality of life is the pretty much the same in either place so long as you don't have a health crisis.\nBottom 65% - move to Canada if you can, or better yet ANYWHERE in the EU. If you have a CompSci or Engineering degree, the EU is a better choice except for a certain amount of culture shock and the mandatory language rules. Of course, if you have the opportunity and funds to move ... you don't need to.\nIf you are of Nordic descent the appropriate Scandinavian country is definitely a better choice, but my understanding is that they are not very tolerant of others.

I would suggest if anyone is thinking of moving away from home and especially to Europe of the US to do the research, get the know the pro and cons of that country, don't go there cause someone told you it's a nice country to go. And when one comes, get to know the rules and regulations of the country,how taxes works, either you go back and get educated, don't just come and start working without the government knowing that you exist, pay taxes, all I can say life abroad is not easy, but one can make it, if you do the right things, and remember someone else's opportunities are not yours,so find what works for you.

U have to respect and accept that countries rules and regulations where you are staying...whatever religion you are from.

Canada clains a rules of law country but protects the criminals?

Canada needs to stop harboring criminals and terrorists on their soil\nAlso make sure Canada has rule of law. You cant blame other countries because of your failure to contain gang violence.\nRespect human rights of Hindus and stop attacks on Hindus in Canada.

I'm Canadian and worked in Dertoit for almost 10 years, I crossed the border daily working for GM. I've also done work in Louisiana, Indiana and all around Michigan. \nAmerica has some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. It's a beautiful country and has a ton to offer anyone with an ounce of drive. The variety you have in your economy is amazing, we don't have a lot of choice when we buy stuff, you guys have so much more to choose from, take restaurants for example, I've never seen so many chain restaurants in one place, we have a handful of them. \nFrom what I've seen, there's also a lot of poverty, crime and violence, but that's literally everywhere right now, even here in Canada, we don't prosecute violent crime anymore. The gun issue is probably the biggest problem...I always felt extremely vulnerable out in public, especially driving, because I assumed everyone had a gun on them, I seen so many random guns on people, it just blew my mind. I always had to keep in mind when I was driving not to road-rage...That's how you get shot. The health care industry in America is nothing but a business model designed to bankrupt people. Our system isn't great at all...nothing to boast about. If you have to visit the ER at any hospital, you'd better bring food and water, you'll be there at least 8 hours before you're even seen by a doctor. Our health care is free yes, but we're taxed to death here because of it. I do indeed wish we had a 2-teir health care system, I want the option to pay to get seen soonest. America and Canada have free(ish) speech. We're both being ruled by leftist loonies, but that's all changing in our next respective election cycles. Biden and Trudeau will be shown the door and we can hopefully get back to healthy debate and more conversation in society...Instead of automatically dismissing each other, vitriolic badgering one another and hating each other. We had unity for a brief time, we all saw it, after 9/11 happened. We put our petty crap aside and saw each other as brothers and sisters. That didn't last very long and we've been in a constant state of crisis ever since. The media has driven a huge nail right through society, and takes a blow at every single issue we face, making it Left vs Right...\nIt's unfortunate to say, but it's going to take something truly devastating, possibly on a biblical scale, for us to come together again.

As an American, I would have felt sorry for our strict immigration policies. Then I lived abroad and realized it's far more generous than where these immigrants are coming from. Work visa are more strict in other countries, the path to citizenship is denied, and property ownership is precarious. The Golden Rule should apply, treat immigrants to your country the way you want to be treated. Otherwise, don't complain and be grateful for the opportunity. Our immigration polcies should not change until it is reciprocated.

You definitely don't live in Canada right now. This country has been pushed so close to the point of collapse largely by mass immigration that we currently have asylum seekers sleeping on sidewalks in Toronto (look it up if you don't believe me). Venezuelans are the only people south of the border that have a legal claim to ask for asylum. The US has more cities on worlds most dangerous cities list than the other countries south of the border. 1. While McDonald's was originally created in the US there is a 2nd version and its 100% Canadian. After the u.s. McDonald's began franchising one of the brothers became so disgusted with the lack of regulation in the US on what is considered 'food' he moved to Canada and relaunched the chain. The US has no paid maternity leave u have the baby take 2 weeks off unpaid and back work 4. Server's make 2.13 + tips an hour ...... 5. The federal and state government recommend homes in the city have sewage plumbing BUT it is not required. There are literally houses in the southern states with the toilets flushing right into the front or backyard. 6. Perfectly fine to pay a man more than a woman in the US because a woman isnt a man. 7. And if a woman literally becomes a man by changing 'her' name + physically in appearance via surgery/hormones/whatever she still won't get paid the same as a man because she still not viewed as a man: no gender rights. 8. Where's the healthcare when the US has the highest taxes in the world??? 9. Classist. 10. No regulated education. Literally there is no rules on teaching the students these days are learning absolutely nothing. There's no such thing as regulating education in the US anymore 11. The country is over 33 trillion dollars in debt..... It's never going to fix that.\n\nI could go on and on for another hundred reasons before I'd have to Google something else to add to the list but these are only a few of the reasons why any Canadian who knows anything about the US, would never willfully move south of the boarder. American people themselves, aside from a personality trait here or there are fine. Its the demon structure of the country that make America deplorable. Sorry.

While I respect the Sikh tradition and culture, if you are in another country, you abide by the rule and laws of that country. If you want to practice and uphold your tradition ABOVE the law of the country you reside in, that I ask you think twice. If you want to flaunt your tradition and culture and feel that such is above the law, you can do so back at the home nation for Sikh culture and tradition and no one will contest it. But as long as you are in America and you are an American, you OBEY the law.

What are you talking about. We have allot of guns in Canada, we just have far more responsible laws and restrictions on ownership, plus we don’t worship them because we don’t have a gun lobby brain washing the populace into cowering that everyone’s coming to get us, making us feel manly, or corporations making people think that an archaic law meant to have a militia arm them selves in the service of the ruling class, is a law saying everyone should have Guns for themselves. \n\nPlenty of other developed countries have high gun ownership, they just don’t have the gun worship and mass violence.

For all the amazing things the US has to offer, right now we don't even want to visit there, let alone move there. We've talked about it a lot, but nope. In Canada, generally speaking (although there are exceptions to every rule) we have no idea what political leaning our neighbors favor. Political campaigns last no more than 51 days; they do not start the day after the last election and go on for years. This way, elected officials actually do some work instead of campaigning. Right now, the politics in the US, as well as the judiciary, are literally insane. Gun violence in the US is insane, as is the attitude towards guns. It shouldn't take a shooting that affects you personally to make you care about it, and it's not just at schools. The US has had 28 mass killings, with 140 victims, in 6 months... but the problem is that no one down there cares about that enough to stop it, or even discuss ways to stop it. The politics is so sold out to corporations that what is good for the people just doesn't matter. It is capitalism run amok. Environmental protections? They are an inconvenience, and most of them were rolled back a few years ago under the presidency of He Who Must Not Be Named. So politics, elections, shootings... but wait. There's more. I have a wonderful friend in the US who has amazing health care, and yet when he got cancer, he was screwed. We do pay a health care premium up here, but it is a drop in the bucket compared to what people in the US pay for private insurance. Yes, you have the best hospitals in the world, but it doesn't matter if you can't afford to walk in the door. Now dump the intolerance -- racism, homophobia, religious zealots, misogyny (yes, I am talking women's rights, equal pay, access to health care, etc) -- throw in the crazies with guns, and now ask the question again. I absolutely know that Canada is not perfect, and that the tolerances and attitudes towards all these subjects differs from region to region, but overall we are a country that tries to respect the rights and needs of others, that has empathy for others, that wants to help others, and that is a pretty firm foundation to make us want to stay here. (please don't interpret this as all Americans and all areas of the US have no respect etc... but the predominant issues of health care, politics, religion, corporate greed, and violence, now all supported by a bat-crap crazy SCOTUS, sadly spills and taints it all. I know there are amazing, generous, kind people all over the US, but I don't know where the crazies are or where they might pop up).

America is a beautiful country to look at, and I'm sure there are lots of beautiful people, but the arrogance of some of them is mind blowing. I recently watched the news footage of 911, I cried all the way through that, first out of compassion and next out of frustration. When people were jumping out of those towers, George Dubya was making a statement that terrorism would not stand in America. What did he think was standing in his face. The terrorists won that day. Then when they got Bin Laden He stands up and says we got him . Big deal you got one person , when there are dozens to take his place. No mention of other countries that helped them. , they have taken full credit for every war that ever happened. They wonder why the rest of the world hates that country. The sad thing is that 911 didn't teach them a thing. They brag about how they lost 3000 people and other countries only lost a few to terrorism. How sad that they think that way. You had a great president in Obama, but you have that 2 term rule and have been going downhill ever since. And our Canada's Prime minister is certainly nothing to be proud of. Politically he's no threat to anybody, but his own country. Mostly he is an immoral threat to his own country. But that's another vent for another day. I still pray every day for the world and that includes America, but I can't imagine what it will take to break them of that arrogance.

As a Canadian here are my views on the problems here:\n1.Government waste/spending\n2. Insane taxes, we literally pay taxes on our tax here. When you add it all up the lower tax brackets after their 15% gst pay about 45% of their income in taxes alone. Provinces like Nova Scotia are disgusting when it comes to the tax they pay. \n3. Easy immigration, we should consider immigrants based on what they can do for Canada, we don't need hundreds of thousands who can't work or refuse to work. It's a strain on the system. The immigration also artificially increases housing costs.\n4.Government corruption, it's part of why the taxes are so high. It's also part of the recent hyperinflation Canada has suffered. Just look up Trudeaus WE charity Scandall or SNC Lavalin Scandal, some even say Trudeau was getting kickbacks from the vaccine which I have yet to see evidence of but I personally believe it. \n5. Politically illiterate voters and propaganda, here in Canada the government likes to keep it's people uninformed and how they do it is through propaganda. The Liberals have every major news source in Canada in their pocket and in order for you to get news that isn't influenced by them you have to specifically search for them by name, those include Rebel News, TFI Global, and True North. Almost everything else is incredibly biased, they selectively report the news and in many cases outright lie. This causes extreme political illiteracy in it's population.\n6. Housing rules, here in Canada there are some really stupid bylaws like the main floor of your primary dwelling must be 900sqft in some areas, plus building codes prevent cheap construction of homes. You could have a tiny home on piers and it wouldn't cost much but because of our laws and codes it's impossible. You need a proper foundation, footings, building permits, ad in order to get a permit you need to submit blueprints, etc. You can't just buy a prefab building set it on piers and live in it. That'd be too easy, that'd make housing affordable and the government wouldn't like that. \n7. Woke indoctrination centers, The public education system here is all about putting in regular kids and pumping out future Liberal voters. It's a mess.\n8. You can't defend yourself, In Canada you aren't allowed to carry a weapon for self defense. If a criminal breaks into your home you are supposed to do everything you can to escape rather than defend your property. Criminals have more protection under the law than the law abiding citizens. \n9. Low wages, because of immigration wages are low compared to the USA for most jobs in most locations\n10. Thigs cost more in Canada than the USA after taking into consideration currency conversion rates, even things manufactured in Canada\n11. The cold. Nobody likes the cold for the 4-6 months of the year that the higher populated areas of the country have it. The more densely populated areas also tend to be the warmest. \n12. Fascist leaders. It's no secret Justin Trudeau and the Liberals are fascists\n13. Governmental links to the WEF, you'll own nothing and you'll be happy or so their add said. The truth is Canadians can afford less and less under Liberal leadership which is no surprise since Justin Trudeau and Chrystia are supporters of the WEF.

Its simple if you want to practice your religion…stay in your own country….every country have there own rules….
