I'm Indian but not born in India for 3 generations and even in my country, the Indian/Paki immigrants are just coming in droves. There's a distinct culture difference. It's like 10 or 15 years ago, the Indian government opened the gates and said OK, you can go now... And off they all went to every part of the world ??\nFrom a financial perspective, it's definitely not good for the economy, cos they milk the system, don't pay taxes and send money out of the country back to India.\nIndian people though are not generally dangerous though or drug dealers, definitely not like some of the black countries like Nigeria where many will go to a new country specifically to do crime. Somalian people on their other hand are family oriented and get involved in business, not crime.\nHowever, uncontrolled immigration places a huge strain on the system.\nIn this video though, why are the white people involved in drugs. That isn't really related to immigrants, is it..

In 1968, in the city of Birmingham, Enoch Powell, delivered his warnings that dismantling Britain’s borders, and allowing mass numbers of non-Caucasian, and non-Christians to enter would culminate with a ‘Rivers of Blood’ scenario. At that time, the percentage of Birmingham’s population that was non-white, was less than 3 percent. Now, some 55 years later, in 2024, non-whites are a slight majority of Birmingham’s population. The great preponderance of whom are also non-Christians. Conversely, at that same point in time, London’s non-white demographic was slightly higher at 5 percent. Whereas now, white-British have also been reduced to nearing minority status.\n \nFive years after Enoch Powell delivered that address in Birmingham, the novel, Camp of the Saints, by Frenchman Jean Raspail, was published. In this work, Raspail duly warned of the immense danger that would befall France, by allowing unfettered numbers of immigrants from Third World cradles (ostensibly from its former African colonies) to swarm in. However, what he also correctly predicted was with guilt-ridden/self-hating/bleeding-heart liberals would willfully facilitate culturally unassimilable interlopers from the Third World to transgress Europe’s shores. \n \nBut it would be three and half decades before the dire predictions Enoch Powell espoused in 1968, would come to pass. And this cavalcade of horrors first emerged on March 11, 2004, in Madrid, when a group of Islamic fundamentalists systematically detonated 10 bombs on four trains approaching the city’s main CBD railway station, at Atocha. Those instances callously claimed the lives of 192 innocent people, and injured another 1800. \nThen, 16 months later in London, on July 7, 2005, another group of Islamic fundamentalists replicated the Atocha event detonating bombs on trains and buses slaughtering a total of 52 people, and injuring about 800 others. In the subsequent 16 years after the London bombings, another 288 (accruing to be 532) innocent people were slaughtered, in a Reign of Terror, across Britain and Europe, which was callously inflicted by Islamic fundamentalists. \nNow, in Australia, on April 15, 2024, in the Sydney suburb of Wakely (Fairfield), a 16-year-old Islamic terrorist strolled into the Assyrian Orthodox Church, of The Good Shepherd, and stabbed its bishop. This dreadful event culminated with up to 500 of its parishioners gathering outside the church to stage a very violent riot in the subsequent hours. Their sole objective was seeking to get hold of the perpetrator, and exact their revenge upon him for this atrocity. \n \nWhilst being detained by churchgoers shortly after the attack, the 16-year-old assailant can be distinctly heard saying on a video clip that he had stabbed the bishop, because he’d “insulted my prophet”. Therefore, those few words, indisputably designate that this assault was premeditated: and, therefore an act of terrorism. Yet, in spite of him saying these words, the usual suspects have emerged in the past few days downplaying affairs. Some of them (all Muslims) are querying how authorities had been so quick, and eager to call this an act of terrorism.\n \nNeedless to say, it’s an absolute certainty that in the coming weeks that the ‘system’ will surreptitiously maneuver, and manipulate circumstances to cast this goon as being a mere aberration within Australia’s Islamic community. Rather, than him being reflective of a significant component of the Muslims here. To garner the reality that there’s no shortage of Muslims in Australia whose prime allegiance is to Islam, merely requires perusing photos, and video clips appearing in media coverages depicting Muslims congregating outside Mosques. Most of them will be clad in some form of traditional attire, praying to Allah. What this all amounts to is to prove there are no shortage of Muslims here in Australia (and, indeed, Britain, France, and Belgium/Holland, or Canada, and the US), who consider themselves answerable to the teachings of the Quran, before the society they’re in. \nIn the near future, we will be constantly bombarded with the line that this 16-year-old terrorist is not representative of Muslims, which of course is correct. However, the most ominous concern is that, there needs only to be a couple of hundred fundamentalist Muslims in the country who hold extreme views to wreak havoc. \n \nTragically, mass intakes of people from a bevy of non-Anglo/European cradles over the past 30-35 years has radically transmogrified Australia’s two largest metropolises of Sydney, and Melbourne. So much so that, within the short space of a bit more than three decades (1990), Anglo/Europeans have been reduced from being 94 percent of these cities’ populations, to now becoming the ‘collective’ minorities: at around 47 percent. \nTo ascertain this glaring reality, merely requires travelling on any train, at any part of the day that runs through the corridor of 20 stations between Burwood/Strathfield, Granville and down to Liverpool. By doing so, you will quickly realise that people of non-Anglo/European extractions will account for at least, 80 percent of all those people you will observe, either standing on platforms or travelling in carriages. \n \nFor the record, of the 400,000 net-increase of Sydney’s population in the decade up until February 2024, 280,000 of them have been immigrants (either permanent or temporary) who are sourced from non-AE, and non-Christian societies. But what’s strikingly apparent about any of the main business districts of places which have an array of different ethnocultural entities traversing the streets (such as Bankstown), is with how none of them interact with each other: let alone do they have a connection to Australia. \nAs of Saturday morning on April 20, less than 290 hours after the attack at Wakley, there have been many media stories analysing how this heinous event could have come to fruition. Their essences range from querying if intelligence bureaus had any prior knowledge of the assailant: and, if so, then why wasn’t he intercepted earlier. Well, to be fair to law-enforcement, and intelligence entities, keeping tabs on anyone dabbling googling up any facet of extremism, is nigh on impossible to achieve. So, engaging in a blame game on this is futile. \n \nTragically, what the media should be pondering, is the immense sociological cataclysm that Australia is sinking into. All of which is due to the insanity of successive governments from the late 1980s, rapidly drawing in millions of culturally unassimilable immigrants from a large array of non-AE ethnicities? The culmination of this madness has ultimately destroyed the host’s culture. And, moreover, with these immigrants forming culturally-insular enclaves/colonies.\n \nSo, it now comes to pass all these years after Enoch Powell, and Jean Raspail, warned us of would eventuate with dismantling borders, concludes with scores of acts of vile terrorism from 2004, being perpetrated by rabid Islamic fundamentalists. But, in spite of it being patently obvious to any halfwit that, mass-non-discriminatory immigration programs have destroyed the cultures of the host-societies, politicians in Britain, Canada, NZ, and of course, Australia, are totally committed to perpetuating large scale immigration intakes.

It leaves a distinct impression that you either don’t know this, or choose to not recognise this. The “distinct impression” is not a favourable one.\n\nYou continue stoking conflict and confusion. It’s your channel, It’s your choice.\n\nBut it colours you. \n\nIf you want a more homogeneous generation of people, then ask for them. Be direct and honest: “I would like you to act more like the white Anglophones”.\n\nThey’re immigrants, not idiots. They’re perfectly capable of conforming, but you need to ask them to, or else they won’t know it’s requested (they’re not psychic), and you need to explain what the advantages are of reconfiguring their identities to suit your requirements.\n\nThat’s all. ?

A large population of White Canadians sold their homes to Indians and moved north especially to Orangeville and many sourrounding cities as well. Brampton is what it is because people dont want to live among different people. Whites saw Indian coming in and left and Indians desired to live among their own kind. I think the issue is on both sides.

Brampton was nice place to live back in the day. Now it is a shithole, infested with crime, violence and everything else. Toronto has been well upon its way there for more than a decade . I guess cultural enrichment and diversity struck again. \n\nThis what happens when a country no longer controls its borders and has no say as to who comes in and how many. Canadians are living those end results and consequences in real time. The thing is that too many of them voted for this and are too passive, apathetic or spineless to say or do anything. Which isn’t necessarily all that different from the rest of Western countries.\n\nPeople who don’t care about Canada, Canadian culture, values etc. Canada has just become a port of convenience, where people, like in this case from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc., land, and are more interested in “what can you give me”, “ what can you do for me”, no forethought of hey, maybe this is a two-way street where something is also expected from me to give back to the country and society that gave me an opportunity. If this is allowed to continue it will only get worse.

I’m a little late to this video but have a lot to say. As a Canadian of Indian descent, I have always avoided Brampton. There is a stark difference between Indians from Brampton and those of us that are from other cities. This situation is out of control mainly due to JT but also colleges that have setup feeder international schools that cater just to Indian students. I’d imagine Chinese students have something similar to this as well, they’re just more quiet. \n\nA lot of the comments come off as offensive but it is what it is, There are too many of my ethnic people here and they’re not assimilating let alone intending to do so. Chain migration is another problem as it brings in an older generation that has no desire to learn English. Crime is having a runaway effect because of the environment they come from, fights break out at intersections, parking lots, backyards, front yards, etc. This is reckless and embarrassing for all Indians, especially us Punjabis. This goes unreported because of how vindictive these people are because of whichever town/city they came from. There are also rumours that these female students are home wreckers so there’s another layer. \n\nMy solution: \n1) Stop immigration, these people are giving our entire community a bad rep when we’ve worked so hard to get to where we are in this country. Return to skills based immigration, not WEF-based. \n2) Cap the international student populations tied to the census - this opens up opportunities for international students from ALL countries and walks of life. \n3) International students cannot be allowed to work - Canadian students First, Canada First. \n4) After graduation, give students 1 year to find a job in their field of study. If they can’t find one, send them back and learn skills and then that’s their only back to Canada. \n5) if they do make it to immigration, we need a better system than just a simple memorization test - have them demonstrate their command of the English language, look at their value added and potential for the future. \n6) Conservatives need to be a part of the solution. A lot of the comments are just complaints and complaining will get these folks voting red vs voting blue each and every time. That guy commenting about no temples in Timmins will just push these people to the liberals and this is what JT is counting on. We need to show these folks what being Canadian is about so that they leave Brampton and assimilate. I’ve introduced countless folks to Pierre and have changed their outlooks, y’all need to do the same. Show them that they’re being used by the liberals and that’ll get them going, cause no one wants to be used. \n\nAs always, TNC reports it as it is and that’s what I’m here for. Thank you!

I never understood people who think diversity is good thing. Why would you think 100 people with 100 different opinions be a good thing?

i work in small town in bc...we have lots of transitional contractors and work force members, lots of diversity. i have met people from all over the world and they all claim the nationality of being canadian or a new canadian from whatever country.\ni have also met several people who claim their non canadian nationality while some make quips about how canadian women are supposed to be docile. one guy actually said to me that he doesn't like how i am too strong willed, unlike the girls in the gta who don't do direct eye contact. i deadpanned him and informed him that western girls are different, our western men are good enough to stand beside us when dealing with mental midgets!

When I moved to Toronto 20 years ago, it was more pleasant and people in general was polie and good manners.\nFor the last 10 years and especially the last 5 years, it’s worst and worst.\nDon’t expect someone say Hi to you in your building. Exception, if you have a pet.\nNo one will look behind in case there’s someone for the door.\nEveryone stuck with his community, don’t expect to have discussions with people if you’re not form the same community .\nTake the subway, you see people put their own bag in an empty seat. \nAnd people with feet on the seat.\nIt become a very selfish city, only for me, me, me.\nI travel in differents parts of the world and, Toronto is the most unfriendly city.\nExpensive for apartment, insurance, groceries, cost of living.\nHope it will change again but I have no hope and I prefer to be away as much as I can or move away\n\n.

How are the People of India different from the People of Europe who immigrated in the 50s?

Take my interview.. I am an Indian who moved here from the States. I will give you a different perspective.. how I see that the local white population is getting screwed. And how immigrants are screwing themselves over.. how Canada is just a cheap outsourcing hub for USA.. the quality of people and work is garbage.. with very little money. My problem is - stupid people in America blamed their economy crash only on immigrants and you are doing the same.. it’s the corrupt politicians and government policies…because Canada doesn’t have a real Economy. We have the same problem. I actually like the people, but….somehow, immigrants have managed to have been able to acquire the vast majority of retail jobs in our area. How is that possible? There are businesses and fast food chains with not one white person working as an employee. I spoke to a former worker that was at one of these businesses for years and asker her WTF happened? She told me that the company hired a new manager from India, within 6 months, half the staff were Indian, local students were not being hired for part time jobs, only Indians, by the end of the year, every single employee was Indian. \nShe along with other quit their jobs because….not because they’re racist, but because not only were they being treated differently than the now majority brown workers, but they were being made to feel excluded because…the manager and the new staff all spoke a different language, they would all work together in a group not speaking English at all, saying things and laughing making it pretty obvious that they were making fun of the white employees. The “manager” would ignore the white staff’s complaints and he would then seemingly punish them by giving them less hours, change their duties and give “the good shifts” to the new brown people to the point where the white people were made to feel alienated as well as cutting back their hours leaving them with not enough hours to make a living. “This is Canada Mother Fecker” these people need to speak our language when they’re in public or at the workplace with “Canadians” or…employers should fire them. I will note, that the A&W that this happened at, has changed not only by every single employee being brown, but the service is not near as friendly, they all speak to each other in a different language behind the counter.. the seating area is not even close to being clean, the tables usually are left with trays and garbage that aren’t being cleaned as customer leave. It so bad sometimes that I literally have to pick a dirty table and remove the garbage myself because every available table has not been cleaned….and the bathrooms …. I don’t even want to talk about it they’re so disgusting. And when you complain….they turn to other employees and speak a different language… so we have no idea about WTF they are actually doing or saying about the issue. “ Thank you Sir, we will take care of that.” And the next day…it was the same. I’ve stopped going there along with everyone that I know…our work crew along with our families can no longer support such a dirty, rude and disrespectful business.

People here talking about India has no. multiculturalism does not know India has been multicultural for the last 2500 years integrating different communities of its time. The Indian diaspora is the most integrating diaspora.

I think this video is incredibly misleading, a ton of information is missing from this story. \nThe fact is Indians live in Brampton, no different than Chinese people living in Markham, Irish people living in Toronto or Italians living in Vaughn.\nThe Caucasians don't want to work, so they do drugs and complain about being homeless.

A giant false idol on Canada soil, no different than planting a flag of a conquering army. Is this to let Canadians know this land has been taken, or is this directed towards all the other groups from the 3rd world moving into that area, that India has claimed that land for themselves? It does seem like it's only poor white people that live surrounded by a foreign culture, that's been built within our own Canadian borders. This is why people move away. This does need to be stopped. You don't have to become a Canadian migrant to work there for years. I don't know where that idea comes from.\nMillions of people worldwide work in foreign countries and then return home. A job requires a different motivation than a person who wants to migrate to a country.The latter is more sensitive and requires more.

I think sometimes when people make decisions an match up their opponents, they dont estimate where the spawns are coming from. I would imagine instead of attacking my opponents attacks, its good to strategically try to specify which tactics are coming out of various ports n at what frequency. Its productive to analyze my opponents chess moves, yet its alsogood to analyze what locations did my opponent train in, also how many of his peers came from the same training location or a different one. We must also analyze wherw these fellow students of the opponents went. Such as analyzing all of the various colleges to compare which high school students applt to which colleges. Then strategize my opponents tactics from there.

Yes, the Canadian way of doing things is really different. In Canada, we are the slowest, least efficient, and most resource-wasting management systems. Look at the police on the street: when they see someone committing a minor driving offence, they stop in the middle of the street blocking almost all street lanes to put out a show of power to everyone disregarding how the police is creating heavy traffic wasting other people' time, energy, money,and fuel. This is just one example. No offience, but this is the country of the dumb.

I’m an atheist Canadian. I dated muslims and people of different faiths and used to enjoy your videos… Therefore, respect and compassion goes both ways. You may not agree with the lgbtq community but it’s important for everyone to feel safe. People need to respect everyone but education is key. Everyone deserves to be educated about each other. That’s why I think religion and state should be separate. If you’re unhappy you can leave that’s fine. But there isn’t a perfect place in the world. Accepting others for their beliefs is just as important as others accepting ours. I wish you the best.

I grew up in Windsor, across from Detroit. It’s entirely different city every 10 years now. The only people actually staying here have it rough, most pass through. Housing is insane, over population is insane, never owning a house is incredibly depressing. But what I miss most is the simple traditions. Like men actually being men, holding doors, saying hello to those you don’t want to. Being gentleman like always, showing respect, giving up seats for older women & children. Walking on the roadside & keeping family safe inside (simple traditional stuff) it’s all gone..

More immigrants the more votes. Canada is not the same Canada I grew up in 66 years ago. Everywhere look, you think you are living in a different country. These people have no respect, just their own kind. Trudeau has damaged our country beyond repair, just like Biden has done to the States.

Jobs, housing,health,loans education, goes to people who never put money or effort in this country. Most of them see Canada as the sidechick. There are enough people around the world who would like to come to Canada that in a relatively short time, native-born Canadians who may have lived in a community their entire life can be quickly overrun when we have numbers like these entering the country. The numbers of people coming from the same country meet up with others from their homeland & find it easier to remain within that clique than to actually shed some of their old lives & Canadianise. Those who do Canadianise are disparaged as selling out by their ethno-cultural community. So we just end up with a multi-tiered society of different people quietly avoiding each other & living in constant distrust. It gets even worse when they bring their Old World prejudices here, as we have seen in places like Toronto & Montreal. It's safe to say that people on both sides of the Israel/Palestine conflict see themselves as Canadians second - at most. They don't look upon people from the other side as fellow Canadians, because they don't see any fellowship in their Canadian citizenship. It's just a stamp on the back of their hand that gets them to this relatively safe country when things get bloody in their homeland.

The problem isn't immigrants its fraud refugees and asylum seekers. Most people don't know the difference. Immigrants aren't taking up space in shelters.

I and my wife had a quarel about this particular issue. I am currently in Nigeria and doing well cos I am a Software Engineer and I do remote jobs that pays very well. I have my own house, cars and my daughter goes to one of the best school in town. \n\nBut for some reason she wants us to relocate. She's been hammering on this particular topic for a long time now, and tbh I am very okay with where I am, I live like a king here why should I travel to another land and start licking someone's ass? \n\nI told her if she's persistent on this issue I will send her and my daughter to go then I can go visit time to time. But I am not about to leave my country just cos other people are doing so. My reality is different.

The gov't is ruining our country. They've ignored the fact that it takes a long time to grow the education system, healthcare system, housing & yes cultural absorption. It just takes time to do this properly and the gov't is just gone crazy ignoring these issues.\n\nYou just can't invite millions of people from different cultures and think our culture will survive. in my opinion - its the governments cold hard financial planers who decided they need new young workers to pay taxes and social security to support all the older generations retiring , so they import foreigners , now 23% of Canadian were not born there , or 30% of Australians were not born there --- but the actual people who live there look around and wonder why 30% of the country doesn't speak the same language and has extremely different culture values and feel displaced from there own homes , also foreigners tend to work cheaper and take housing supply -- lowering wages and driving up housing costs further angering locals

You should abide by the rules of the uni or the country you’re in. This lack of access to health care is a new thing. I agree with your assessment. It now seems lonelier in Toronto. \n\nCanada used to be different because anyone with a good job could afford at least a condo, but life became unaffordable not just for immigrants, but for everyone unless you are in your 50s-60s and own a home. \n\nI have friends working double jobs supporting family back home in other countries, but for some of them the family back home sound like they are doing better than them and own a home. It’s like they are sacrificing their life to be in poverty or full of hardships and their families get to go out for dinners and drinks with friends. Not them. Not true for everyone, but for some yes and I worry about their own retirement because retirement in Canada without lots of savings means you might be homeless or forced to live with family even if it’s not your preference. \n\n without investments and savings, it will be hard to beat inflation. Getting into debt and getting bad credit can mean not getting an apartment. \n\nThe birth rate is going down because it is expensive to have kids and income isn’t enough to match with living costs. Getting help from government is really not something everyone gets access too. One person might get housing support, 10 others may get nothing. Different governments offer different things. Programs end and change often. \n\nIn Canada definitely bargain and shop around for good phone plans. one idea is to get a pay as you go until “Black Friday” then every year or two when your good offer expires there will be many others. It’s the time with the best deals saving almost half. For instance, I have 50 gigs for $25 for two years from a large provider. Telephone companies are the one place where people must bargain and even ask for better deals as a must.\n\nThe people you see living in big houses, will have kids that can’t afford the same. This is because prices keep rising. The system protects the very rich, but will also drain the middle class often within 1-2 generations. Do not link your business to your personal finance, or creditors can take your home. Some not knowing this lose everything and rich people know better. \n\nPeople live until they are very old, so inheritance is pretty much meaningless to rely on, so no matter what your parents have you must hustle in life. \n\nI do think Canada can become what we want over time. Citizens need to fight the trend of great community spaces, restaurants and bars going out of business and dumb corporations move in with bad boring restaurants. Like a McDonald’s where maybe a popular cultural hang out was. \n\nPart of the problem is a lack of mixed income housing areas, so it’s hard to stay living where you grew up. Artists and musicians help make a city great, but many cannot afford to live here.\n\nFamilies and communities staying together means more support for those with young kids and older relatives when they need help. Yet how is this possible in a city that is always pushing out lower income people when wealthier people desire the area. \n\nIn Toronto, every time you move you have to take what is available and that might mean moving an hour away from everyone you know. This weakens communities. Plus, if you live too far from your work you will have no time to socialize for most the week due to travel time. \n\nI think those who grew up in Toronto do have a certain culture of acceptance with others from many cultures, because your friends at school were from all over. But with new migrants sometimes it isn’t until the second generation that their social circles get diverse. This can be isolating and it’s even isolating as those from Toronto eventually leave dreaming of staying in one spot and not forced to move constantly when a landlord investor sells every house you move into. \n\n\nToronto really needs to protect affordability of housing for at least some housing in every section so that people can save money if they live in the city, and not have to leave their communities and be far from their friends and family. \n\notherwise eventually people get sick of the hustle and it’s too tiring to travel 1+ hrs each way to visit someone during Monday to Friday. \n\n20 years ago any professional could at least buy a condo. Not today. There is too much competition now and investors are allowed to buy up all the most affordable housing that once was a pathway to owning a home. \n\nRich policy makers got greedy and destroyed canada and hopefully diversity in leadership will help make Canada better. But they perhaps people knew to Canada can reject this lonely structure and help us rebuild Toronto into an amazing place. \n\nWe need to make sure everyone can afford housing with 30% of their income. I may receive a lot of criticism for my opinion, but I feel compelled to share my experience as a resident and worker in this country. I immigrated to Canada from Ukraine in 2022 and have since been living and working in Winnipeg. This country has offered me numerous opportunities, even though I do not hold high-ranking positions. My wife and I are able to save a bit of money for unforeseen expenses. Just when I started to feel settled and thought that things were going quite well, I encountered numerous videos claiming the opposite, particularly highlighting the scarcity of affordable housing. \n \nDespite the prevalence of such content, my personal experience differs. I pay $725 for housing with a salary of $2.3K, which I find to be a reasonable balance. Some might say I was fortunate, but affordable housing ranging from $800 to $1000 is readily available in Winnipeg, and this is just one city's example; there are many other cities across Canada. \nFrom my perspective, the issue of housing affordability is overstated and not solely attributable to the country's policies. Such scenarios can occur in any nation if half the population desires to reside within 4% of its land area (namely, Toronto and its vicinity), leading inevitably to soaring prices – that's simply economics. \n \nIt's not my place to dictate how Canadians should live, but it appears to me that the crux of the problem lies in the uneven distribution of the population. As the second-largest country globally, Canada can comfortably accommodate 40 million people or even significantly more. However, this necessitates a collective understanding that concentrating the population in a single city may not be the most prudent approach.

When I migrated to Canada 30 years ago, this was a different country. This country could integrate foreigners without causing problems for the native people here. It was a moderate number of between 200 to 300 thousand for a population of 30 million The problem is that Canada has more people over 65 years old than young people, subtracting the number of born about 320 vs 220 who die every year, there would be no population growth that could pay for the retirements of the retired people and immigration in the correct numbers was something positive for the economy the problem is a broken immigration system too many without infrastructure and let me tell you a lot of them arrive and in less than a year they leave I think that Canada should not receive anyone anymore for the next 20 years until it fixes houses crisis

You should have gone to the Alexandra hotel, it functions as a hotel as well as a place for cheaper living for the homeless I’ve stayed there as a guest visiting Toronto many times and have heard so many different story’s from the homeless that live there now. The park itself (Alexandra park) next to the hotel has many homeless there too. There was a time I went to stay in Toronto for the weekend and couldn’t find anywhere to stay hotels were booked up or too expensive for my budget and one of the people that were living in Alexandra park overheard me when I tried to check in and offered a tent and food it was very welcoming I stayed with them for a few hours but ended up leaving because my ex had seen my story about not having anywhere to stay for the night and busses were done for the way back to Muskoka and got to stay with her. A lot of the homeless I met at the park weren’t addicts just got dealt a bad hand and had nowhere else to go, this was back in 2020. I’ve recently stayed at the Alexandra hotel this past summer for the exhibition and smashing pumpkins concert and it’s just the same as before. Heartbreaking the stories you hear but a very welcoming hotel and great what they do for the less fortunate.
