This is nuts..Hey Canada WTF? It took me 12 hours to cross the border .to get into NY on a Sunday coming home from Montreal and I am a citizen of the USA and you asked to check my trunk. This is all bull crap.

I'm a Canadian with dual-citizen parents from NY, I used to cross this same border crossing with only my driver's license. This year I was refused entry for not having my passport and was held for 3 hours by CBSA. Glad to see foreign aliens crossing on foot while dual-citizens are treated like criminals. Great work to both our administrations!

It's not even just in Brampton even 1 to 2 hours away immigrant and international students take all customer service jobs to the point that Canadians can barely get hired into these roles because we have expectations and rights that we worked for and I've seen these immigrants willing to work for less than legal minimum wage and they do not stand up for themselves or work towards having any shared rights. In addition many politicians on both sides of the aisle are rental landlords so only stand to profit from low rental vacancies and cramming as many people into a small space as possible. They've also cut funding to a lot of post-secondary institutions who rely on inflating tuition cost for international students. At my current role on a team of 15 people plus one manager there are only three white people, born and raised Canadians. The rest are all Indians including the manager and will frequently talk amongst themselves loudly in Punjabi while we're trying to serve customers in the English language. That's actually against policy but Canadians are so outnumbered by immigrants and specifically Indians in this place that it never gets enforced properly. I've never been anti-immigration but it's gotten so bad in Canada especially in places like Ontario that I'm now against it and will tell anyone regardless of their skin color to avoid immigrating here. I've been on a wait list for a doctor for over 11 years, I know people who have died from cancer due to delayed referrals due to long wait list for additional screening, it's insane and absolutely ridiculous especially considering the amount of taxes I currently pay and have paid my entire life as a born and raised Canadian.\n\nAlso it's absolutely true every single one is either taking or has taken post-secondary studies in business admin or management. We don't need more people in these fields we need Healthcare sector workers and not a single one that I've spoken with which again is quite a few studied anything related to medicine Healthcare nursing... not one.

it isn't just in NY or Texas. we are in a south Kansas City suburban apartment in a relatively nice area and we have seen multiple Mexican families going in and out of a couple of different apartments carrying trash bags full of whatever, suitcases, then loitering outside at all hours of the day and night when you wouldn't have normally seen that here. our clubhouse/pool closes at 10PM and everyone that lives here knows and abides by the rules, they do not and they leave trash, glass bottles etc. all over the place and have turned the outside furniture upside down and thrown trash into the pool so they keep closing it down to clean it. i call the police but they don't do anything because its private property. this will escalate to the point where the Citizens are going to have to take a stand.

Wait i can do that?... i thought i had to go to Mexico first.. i could be in Maine in a couple hours. This applies to Canadians too right? lol

LOL: we were up that way two months ago .While there are actual border stations there are hundred of back road crossings that only operate a limited number of hours per day.While tehnically illegal Canadians ( and there thousands of them ) gladly turn a blind eye when there are fortunes to be made.Arrive at midnight and a small sign asks you return the next day and check in.Fat chance that happens .Meanwhile thousands can walk over the border at which point they can call an UBER to get a ride to New York city. UBER says they are clamping down but truth be told you can UBER to a suburb of NYC and then get another UBER in to Manhattan, NO questions asked !

Love how they can get help honestly I do but it is not fair to everyone else specially the families that were born here and needed help for years already. It’s setting a horrible example specially for people wanting to commit crimes it seems like there’s no punishment for anything anymore. I can’t see any of this being good for the people or the country ?‍♂️. I live hours away from nyc and the crime is already spreading out here having neighbors being harassed and property being stolen it’s truly getting out of hand ?‍♂️

I'm an hour from NYC and the amount of ILLEGAL immigrants is extremely disturbing. We don't know anything about these people. It's no surprise they're using the northern border.

Just bring them to California I live in California born and raised here, I am 63 years old. Let me tell you something about life in America for an average person not a rich person not a person with privileges. Just an average guy can’t afford to live here. The cost of living is out of control. Have you seen the cost of rents in California, have you seen the cost of The price of a house have you seen gas prices? Have you seen food prices but yet our wonderful governor Gavin Newsom insisted on a raise to $20 an hour for fast food workers and pizza delivery drivers so what did Pizza Hut do? They fired all their Pizza delivery drivers. I just put that in there because nothing makes sense, this is the only thing that makes any sense. You either have money or you don’t have money.\nSee you later that’s it. Bring them to California. They’ll fit right in. There’s nothing but immigrants here now anyway.

I believe being forced to get entry job is for everyone not only new comer. Especially in the professional field. Most CPA I work with pass there exam and were making poor wage like 20-30k if they work in their field doing 70 hour so it is under the minimum wage. Half the hours at work were not paid . 3/4 of the people who pass the CPA didn’t had internships..and were working in others field. I switched to construction after 3 years i make 75k doing 36 hours now. Education is overrated..

You are 100% correct. My friend was mugged in broad daylight. He went to hospital with his injured face - nurse simply asked him to stand in the queue. Bachare stayed there for 90 mins approx to see a junior dr in emergency. \nOne another time myself got ear pain around 1 am . Called to see where I can see a Dr. They said to go somewhere 20 km away. Once reached asked wait for hours after that they told to get olive oil . Since olive oil not covered I need to pay!.

Yes Canada’s healthcare system is falling. They consider a normal fever as emergency and the average waiting time in emergency department is about 5 hours.

I give Canada its due but these regards about the US are wildly out of context. \n\nWe joke in meetings. I am a senior now and work normal hours around 40 unless the job needs more. Our children are taught to work together. \n\nAnyone who thinks they have “free” healthcare doesn’t earn a paycheck. You pay a lot of money for that “free “ healthcare.

I am disappointed with this video. The problems mentioned here are in USA and UK as well. We form opinions based on our experiences. I have no complaints against Healthcare as I was operated in few hours in emergency and never had to wait long for diagnostic tests. Education in Canada is affordable compared to US. Air and Food quality is great. People are extremely friendly. Yes, the housing crisis is there especially post Covid but hoping the market will correct gradually. In my experience, every country has pros n cons and one needs to make a choice between their home country and Canada comparing both based on one's priorities and preferences.Canada changed our lives in so many good ways and my whole family appreciates it. Canada is ovetall a nice country. And it's not easy to get PR. If you get , it's luck n hardships to settle in any new country.

As a born and raided Canadian I'm sick of this. I have 3 jobs, none of which have hours for me in my professional field, my bosses are hiring on foreign workers to do the work i can do. Our public spaces are overrun by people who stick together and refuse to acknowledge our culture, and have no plans of assimilation. I am 26 years old, educated, out of work, damn near broke, the thought of owning a home seems damn near impossible here in british columbia. I am drowning in bills for my vehicle, rent, gas, groceries and tax all of which are through the roof. Enough is enough when will our government take care of their own rather than bringing in foreigners and tending to them as if they're the top priority. We have a drug epidemic and our streets are full of Canadian people who are dying and openly doing the worlds most lethal substances in public spaces. Im fed up, frustrated, stressed out, depressed and scared. i want to have a succesful life and raise a family like my parents, grandparents great grandparents and so on but with the current state of the economy im struggling to pay bills and eat healthy food. what is this world coming to. we need change. \nFuck trudeau

I agree with most of the information in this video. I lived in Canada from 2015-2021. When i used to attend college, parking lot always smelled like weed. People were always lined up at the “recreation drugstore” even in excruciating cold. Also, the job market is bad, most of the employers are racist. Permanent residency is very hard to get. Free health care is actually not free. It is deducted from your every single pay checks. If you had any emergencies, be ready to wait for more than 10+ hours; sometimes more than that. I remember when back in 2015, prime minister justin, got more than 5 thousand Syrian refugees, and people were complaining that they are currently facing job shortages, housing issues and many other things but their needs were completely ignored. I recently visited Canada, and it’s getting worse now, lots of traffic, crime and homeless people. I would still recommend if you want to go and get educated because the education system is good. But if your goal is only for settlement then i would suggest to apply for permanent residence first.

My friend who lived in canada for 14 years. His wife get pregnant and they could not get appointment to see doctor untill 8 to 9 weeks waiting. One time they went for emergency and waiting time was 43 hours. Seriously, Canada have poorest healthcare systen. He clearly said that he did biggest mistake to moved in canada 14 years back. He finally planning to move out this december and leave canada parmenantaly.

Changed Name - One of my colleague had his hand dislocated and had to wait 8 hours in line to see doctor, Noone offered him any meds for pain or nothing. Once he got the chance to see doctor, they told him to get get x-ray and it's unbelievable that he got the x-ray appointment after 9 months. Till that time he just got the hand band to support his dislocated hand and he got healed with time. Ridiculous I can't imagine the pain he Has been through

Lived 2 years in Canada, Niagara falls (ON) To be specific. I was working at the gas station and i can confirm the drung issue. Store was surrounded by at least 10 junkies at all times, The store i was working at was robbed multiple time( luckily not during my shift). The health care sucks, you’ll have to wait for hours even in emergency cases. We have CRPF deployed at metro stations here in India Canada has crack heads, I visited US multiple times during my tenure and can confirm that US is slightly better.

I’m in canada right now, the healthcare system of canada is totally f***ed, I’ve waited 7 hours with my broken bone to see the doctor, and totally i have spend 3 days for the treatment.

I lived in UK for 2 years and got to know the same reality, I don’t see bright future there but a downfall of the society. There is only good money and u may feel that u have good lifestyle but its just illusion to distract from the real issues. You can’t even save much untill you work illegally and for more than working hours.

My passport, immigration docs and laptop bag was stolen by a drug addict in Vancouver BC IN oct 2019 . It took me 6 hours to launch my complaint to Vancouver police department , when I went to police station they said it’s 5 PM , we are closing the station please launch your complain online. Indian embassy there helped me get back with a tatkal passport. You might say you can stay out of drugs and enjoy the city life but it affects you every now and then. And when police also is on their side it’s the worst situation to be in.

Way back, I considered Canada, but now I'm seeing more Canadians coming to Mexico than the ones trying to get there And we're a couple hours away. We also are having tons of Indians immigrants coming, but somehow, they're not trying to embrace being here. They are exclaiming themselves into their own community. That's sad.

When we came 28 years ago 1st time in Montreal there was very limited south Asian immigrants. Health care was top of the world..living standard was best with less expensive housing & other costs.. Now we live in Toronto & after 28 years its a totally different country. Health care is verge of collapse. 6 to 7 hours waiting in Hospital, 3 hours waiting to see a family doctor. No housing for new people. Car theft is high in the world. Lots of drugs in young people. No job for immigrants while local born young people struggling to find jobs. Only highy educated from local universities people gets job. Food cost higher than US, Europe. Large country but 80% people lives close to US borders. Northern part of Canada is empty. Racism getting higher & higher.. All these problems started after Trudeau came in power. During Harper time Canada was top of the world. Trudeau adoped reckless immigration policy. He brought people here without developing infrastructure like new hospitals, schools, housing etc.. Now most of students are living in stress here. 4/5 people living in one room. No job.. Education tuition fees are very high.. Therefore, new people coming to Canada must do their own research before come here. 99% political asylum cases are getting rejected & facing deportation. Students will not get work permit until they finish their course & get a job from employer.. Trudeau time is over. Conservative party will come to power next year & they will make immigration tougher.

Watching this from New Zealand and I absolutely agree India has best healthcare in the world. Here you have to wait atleast 3 hours to be seen by a doctot in EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT ?. In India we call that general department because emergency means straight up not waiting 3 hours. \nPlus my wisdom tooth removal for 2 tooth $2000 ? while return ticket to India is $1500 and my dad is a doctor so free treatment. Once again from my experience India has best healthcare.

A friend of mine went to Ottawa and within one month he broke his wrist due to a fall. He went to a hospital nd was given a painkiller without even seeing his injury and asked to wait. He had to wait at the hospital in pain with a broken wrist for 8 hours straight. When I heard this I was shocked.

few points are absolutely wrong-\nCanada provides one time post graduation work permit(PGWP) only once after completion of study..They never promised to any international students to give PR or Citizenship but Canada gives you time to establish your comprehensive ranking score in order to get the permanent residency but these students who are protesting could not fit in that criteria, Thats why they are looking for the extension in their work permits which makes no sense actually.A fun fact a lot students can't talk in English here bcuz they hardly study or learn some skill. Your language proficiency is one of the main criteria to get jobs and later to get your PR here.\nCanada didnt promise that. 100% true. I pay 30% as tax of my income and nothing we get in return. Last year, l was pregnant and as showed in the video...got gynecologist after 4 months...luckily l got it, because l didn't even have a family doctor at that time. Worst experience was my delivery. They discharged me on 3rd day, and l got admitted in emergency again on 4th night. Horrible thing is that l waited 5 hours in emergency. ?....list is long ....Canada is a trap.

To be honest these are not canada problems. These are Ontario n bc problems. I live in Edmonton. U can get a house for 3-4 lakhs. Hospital waiting time is 3-5 hours n medical imaging appointment u can get in 5 6 days. It's not so bad here. But ya drugs are major problem in every city

Live in toronto, all the above issues mentioned are 100% correct. My wife cut her finger last week, and the cut was really deep. She got 4 stitches. she had to sit for almost 2 hours covering her wound with paper towel, to see the doctor. Plus immigration will get very difficult in coming years in canada. If you know french then you will have chances. And houses which are just made up of wood should not be this costly. I work as database developer and i get paid good for now, but jobs are also not guaranteed and scares. With salary I earn, i should definitely afford house, but Canada have Rahul Gandhi in power, which is making everything impossible for Canadians, so Indians you can figure out what are your chances.

Its crappy, I'm at the point in my life where me and my fiancée are making more money then we ever have, but its going no where. We need immigrants, we do not need this much. I go on tiktok and there are tutorials for people coming into this country on how to obtain free food, like from food banks and what not, spite the fact we have minimum funding requirements for students coming here. It sucks, because the minimum isn't high enough for somebody to actually live off, and its taking food away from desperate Canadians who really need it. Some of my best friends are immigrants, and it sucks to try to speak up about it, only to be bashed as a bigot or xenophobic. I'm not either of those things, we just have a HUGE issue caused by a massive influx of people. Its not the people's fault, its the failure of our government. My rent for a 2bd apartment in 2014 was $770 all included, Grocery bill was about 170 every two weeks. As a canadian waiting in a hospital can take up to 12 hours if your lucky. when i was 19 i had kidney stones about 2cm each waited in pain on the floor in a fetal position for 5 hours before i got a room, then another 5 hours to get morphine i think and i was there another 6 waiting for the tests, they did a ultrasound a few xrays, then when i woke up the next day i had to go in for lazer surgery it may be free but not time wise

Living in Toronto. What you said is 100% true. Healthcare system is a failure here. It took me 4 months to just get an appointment with a skin specialist. Even in the emergency ward, there is a minimum wait of 4 -6 hours and the patient is at mercy of nurse's judgement who will decide how bad your condition is, and if you can see the doctor sooner.

i live in regina, canada. Once i got a severe swelling in my cheek and went to emergency but it was just name of emergency i had to wait for almost 10 hours even though i was in so much pain

I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? What does that even mean??? I have nothing against the LGBTQ people. That’s your life do whatever you want, I don’t care. But there are so many other issues going on in the country and the government is focusing on allowing people to change their genders !! \nAnd the worst part is that a portion of the tax we pay from our hard earned money goes to the homeless people. And what do they do? Buy drugs and start attacking random people. If you are doing self defence, you can only hit them in the same amount he hit you, if 1% you hit more like slapped two time where the homeless/drugee slapped only one time, you will be charged with criminal case. \n\n4. Toronto police is saying you must leave your car keys in front of your door so thief can easily steal.\n\n5. If you call ambulance they will charge you 150$ even in emergency
