We can’t even find a job. They are taking our jobs. They don’t even qualify for some high paying jobs and no idea how they got those jobs. When I went to a job interview and the funny thing was I saw bunch of international students were going to every company and knocking the doors and asking jobs. This is ridiculous!

Domino's Pizza, Tim Hortons, Uber Eats will do just fine. These people can't stay. They need to go. Canada is ridiculously over populated. They just want more votes. Current citizens have a hard time finding jobs as it is. I hope Pierre uses some special powers to reverse whatever Trudeau does with them.

They don't care about Canada and its locals, and culture, and native languages (english & french). The proof is that when they come they cloister themselves, continue speaking their native languages and basically just ignore the local Canadians or ridicule them in their native language. Bottom line is they're just here to make money, and they don't really care who they step on (taking jobs from local Canadians).

Send them all back. Where are the protesters against this? They have no respect or love for us. If the stupid government would stop bringing this amount of people here, you wouldn't need all this ridiculous housing. Hire local people born here.

What I dislike is having to bend to stranger culture in my own land.\nWe are in Canada, if you’re willing to join then you should adapt to us. You are all either first generation European immigrants or 2nd, 3rd, 4th (and so on) immigrants to Canada. The only native Canadians are the aboriginal people. It's really getting ridiculous - I'm making 6 figures, and was living comfortably until 2018. Now I have to pinch every single penny. One thing that changed is I had my first-born. But it should not be this expensive to raise of family of 1 child. It's getting ridiculous. We've been considering emigrating elsewhere. \n\nHaving done everything - from going to university, making sacrifices to afford a first home - yet we're still regressing in life. This shouldn't be. \n\nI thought Canada was heaven on earth - but that view has changed, as it's getting more difficult to survive, forget thrive.

Man, I found living in Canada much cheaper than a few other places, and with higher literacy rates, less mass shootings, a better quality of life, and less violent crime than the states, Canada is a haven. But then again, I suppose if you compare it to Pennsylvania, it probably seems ridiculous.

As much as I don’t like the guy, it’s misguided saying it’s only Trudeau. Is he the solution? Not likely, but it’s a start. The issue is accountability from the provincial governments who have low voter turnout, and are allergic to investing in diversified transportation or fixing housing, or immigration laws, and taxing rich people more and god forbid they update their labour and health system. So much of these issues were present for years before he was elected, because the country just voted to get out of the recession and cut a ridiculous amount of funding. The Harper years were terrible, people forget that. He wanted to ban abortions. That’s the future his party wants. I think they need a coalition government, badly and to turn it on the provinces to come up with plans before asking for money.

In Canada, the major centers are too expensive. However, Canada is one of the easier countries for foreigners to come in and stay long term and make a decent living, especially from countries like the Philippines and India. If they are highly skilled though, there are better opportunities. Just don't talk about homelessness and say it is one of the reasons no to come to Canada from the Philippines. Homeless and slums are quite prevalent all over the Philippines. Taxes however are ridiculously high in Canada - but this socialist slant is not going anywhere anytime soon.

He noted that drug problems, he didn't see any Indians with drug problems (although, I am sure drug problems exist in all ethnicities) but notably he saw white Canadians with this problem. Indians weren't camping out at shelters begging for hand outs. So, why are Indians being blamed? Just because there are TOO MANY? That is ridiculous. I moved to London, UK. Got a job in finance. Bought a house in Zone 2. Pricey but still affordable. But i can't now move back to Canada because the house to salary ratio is ridiculous.

Hey I’m Canadian and I feel bad new comers coming here looking to realize a better life when the reality of that matter the things they can access and freedoms they can have will be limited. There’s a serious medical access and to find a family doctor or wait 12 hours at the hospital. Also when people are professionals like engineers or doctors they have to start from scratch that’s amazing how many doctors or other high level professionals I met as a waiter, taxi driver, working min wage in a store…Oh boy the insane proportions of the housing is ridiculous to say the least. There’s people with 9-5 making 50k at the food banks, now low income people make less wayyy less. So I think they are even turning away international students. It’s quite unfortunate and not realistic. I live in Montreal. You know to know french here Quebec french. Well the increase in crime is because people are getting desperate and are in poverty and desperate. What n unfortunate situation.

Thank you for this story, Harrison. We have lived in Brampton for 17 years and no longer like it. The only reason we are staying right now is because our son is taking a three year college course and has only just about completed one year. Another related topic that you covered was about the high cost of rents and the ridiculous rental situations - many of them in Brampton. He is saving money living at home right now. Another big problem is that we don't have the infrastructure for all these people. My son routinely stands up most of the way to school or can't get on a bus because it's full.

I'm so fucking sad everything in this video is true and for my own sake I have to leave the city I love to ever have a shot at a stable career and home. Toronto was where I grew up and my family set down all its roots but it's a nightmare now. Over half of my young 20 to 30 year old friends only managed to move out of their parent's via some combination of couch surfing or cramming themselves into small spaces with other friends\n\nIt's not only NIMBYs, the zoning regulations are ridiculously restrictive and make developers waste land on giant mazes of single family homes that will inevitably be bought up to cram 40 students into each.
