Liberal/NDP government laid a political trap hoping the conservatives would eventually oppose it and then play the racism card against the conservatives. We're screwed.
| 2024-05-14 | 0 |
Pierre Poilievre is *_NOT_* conservative!
| 2024-05-14 | 0 |
The Liberal government will likely find some form of permit extension for about a year or 2, because to initiate any form of deportation will look bad politically. They will leave the problem for the Conservative government to deal with knowing it will be difficult to depart hundreds of thousands of international Indian students/temporary foreign works (and other people groups), and manipulate the situation to gain political capital.

The best anchor. ?❤️ let's vote for conservatives!

As usual, excellent reporting Harrison, send them back, the sooner the better, I honestly wish Maxime Bernier was leading the Conservatives but PP will do for now.

India is notorious for its falsification of would-be immigrant/admission status. This is just a testimony to that fact. Canada has been invaded by Indians over the past 40 years with the creation of large ethic enclaves in major cities. Stop acquiescing! Boot these students out! Stop pandering to them. That includes both the Liberals and Conservatives, Pierre!

Some of the stats cited here are straight up wrong or... creatively employed, and there's a lot of contradictory information and the typical conservative 'the sky is falling' sensationalism and misattribution. That said, the bas supposition isn't wrong. The bubble we've been sitting on for 20 or so years has completely burst. As someone born and raised in the Toronto area, it's impossible for me to afford to own a house or apartment here on a teacher's salary. Even rent pushes me to the limit unless I want to live in a... less than nice area. I'm living hand to mouth and enjoying the benefits of living in a 'developed' country less. Here's why:\n\n1. Wages aren't really even close to keeping up with the cost of living. The first tick upwards a bit. The second just keeps rising on the back of housing, food, amenities, and inflation: the four horsemen.\n\n2. Our grocery cabal ruthlessly raise prices whenever we look away, and their lobbyists are all ensconced within the leadership of our three major parties, particularly the Conservatives (so if anyone thinks that electing them will help, they're in for a nasty surprise).\n\n3. We're experiencing 'labour shrinkflation': increasing duties are downloaded onto workers and more is expected: more productivity, more availability (almost 24/7 in some jobs), and higher qualifications. Meanwhile, real wages are decreasing relative to living cost, more positions are 'contract', which is basically a way for employers to not have to give you benefits, and job security is tenuous for a lot of people.\n\n4. Houses are being bought by investors and not owners. Foreign entities are money laundering. The wealthy upper crust of high population countries are moving here and buying property because Canada is (still) more safe and stable and less repressive than their home countries in most cases. \n\n5. There's a cycle beginning: as people are squeezed and forced to spend more on 'needs', they spend less on eating out, entertainment, and other 'wants'. These are significant drivers of the service economy and they're being hit hard. So, what can they do? They can let go of workers or lower product costs to remain profitable, but they their quality declines and, in a market where people are pinching every penny and looking for quality for their dollar, they're less likely to go back. They can raise their prices, of course, but then they price people out completely and their profits still tank. I went to a decent steakhouse for my dad's 60th last week. I can't remember the last time that I went to one before that. \n\n6. Our politicians and news cycles focus on the most niche and irrelevant stuff because it'll stoke anger and get tongues wagging. This carbon thing is almost a non-issue, but our conservative leader is harping on about it like it's singlehandedly the death of the Canadian economy when it's a drop in the bucket. Trudeau focuses on 'equity' measures, hoping for a bit of cheap good press, while his efforts are, for the most part, just window dressing and the issues, while meaningful, are often not of paramount importance or even applicable to the vast majority of the people who elected him. Meanwhile, the middle class is pretty much evaporating as he speaks. The NDP keep talking about this in a pretty real way, for what it's worth, but Jagmeet Singh is giving off an increasing vibe of just being another fat cat politician beneath his rhetoric these days. Also, third-party trolls and screeching conservatives try to bury him on social media whenever he speaks... a lot more than other leaders as well, oddly. I wonder why? Oh yeah, the Greens exist and there's Quebec and the conspiracy theory party.\n\n\nUltimately, what we're experiencing is the revenge of the feudal system. Instead of paying rents to your lord and doing labour on the land for him whenever commanded to, you pay rent to your landlord now and go to work even when you're sick or when work hours are over because you have no union protection or are working 'on contract'. Unless we want to live in the armpit of nowhere, 95% of us are going to be wage slaves living hand-to-mouth, not owning our own property, and working to please our corporate overlords if current trends continue unchecked. While some of Canada's problems are unique, I fear that most aren't. As for me, I'm headed to the 'armpit of nowhere' where I can at least have a ghost of a chance of affording life.

This is why i dont vote for any party cause if the conservative leader doesn't wanna deport the illegals out of the country he is no better than our current prime minister.
| 2024-05-14 | 0 |
Pierre is complicent with the invasion, the indianization of Canada \nA vote for Pierre, is a vote for New India\nDump the Conservatives, dump the Liberals/NDP! Save Canada
| 2024-05-14 | 0 |
Pierre will have to flipflop on certain things like immigration. A conservative will automatically be called a racist for years if he admits that too much immigration is bad. His number would drop dramatically. Once he's in power, he'd change things. Mass immigration doesn't help any legal immigrants. Obvious!
| 2024-05-14 | 0 |
Of course the NDP/Liberals will let them stay. Don't expect Conservatives to change that when they are in power.
| 2024-05-14 | 0 |
Wow can’t believe even conservatives and PP is advocating illegal immigrants with fake papers shouldn’t be deported ??♀️ I thought that would be the minimum of their political efforts. No one is fighting for Canadians; this country is doomed.
| 2024-05-14 | 0 |
That comment from Pierre has caused me to have pause about voting conservative.
| 2024-05-14 | 0 |
This is why I’m voting for the People’s Party of Canada and smart Canadians would also vote PPC. The conservatives will only continue to destroy Canada.
| 2024-05-14 | 0 |
They have to go back!!! Any who were part of the protests cannot be allowed to return. Remember when Canadians were savagely beaten by their own government gestapo for protesting government rules that changed overnight? These students aren't Canadians. Canadian's interests must come first!!\nPetey Politico and his fake Conservative globalists are not going change any of the globalist policies brought in by Blackface.
| 2024-05-14 | 0 |
i'll have to dust off my conservative banter...
| 2024-05-14 | 0 |
Why so much peaple hate the inmigrants in Canada? The native population in Canada was murdered, a lot peaple come english and france and the important ¡¡¡Canada it is empty!!! I'am from Mexico, english teacher is from Canada, she never had problems with migrants. She love her country, although her are conservative and don't sympathize on Tradeau.
| 2024-05-13 | 0 |
So who are you going to vote for in this issue, apparently the Conservatives are not the answer either.
| 2024-05-13 | 0 |
Harrison, you stand head and shoulders above any of the other True North reporters. If the rest of the TNM staff showed the guts and energy you show, they would be a real media presence. Sadly, they have lost their real conservative edge and sound a lot like our pathetic MSM.
| 2024-05-13 | 0 |
Mass immigration isn't going to stop and don't think the conservatives are any different.
| 2024-05-13 | 0 |
In line with every party, Conservative leader said he wants to expedite immigration, overwhelmingly from the subcontinent. The only country he refused workers to come to Canada were Koreans, but he is all pro India in all matters let alone to take jobs in Canada.
| 2024-05-13 | 0 |
finally calling out the conservatives a bit. They are just as bad on immigration as the libs
| 2024-05-13 | 0 |
Pierre f you , too many immigrants, destroy Canadian wages ! Cheap wages will destroy Canadian values !!! I am conservative but I don't know about you anymore after your comments, Pierre??
| 2024-05-13 | 0 |
I'm glad that you guys have outlined the Conservative's position as well - just because there is a palatable alternative to the Liberals right now, doesn't mean they don't have to be under searing scrutiny. The Conservatives need to be made aware that support for them is conditional on them actually dealing with this.

I can say this ! WE CANADIANS ARE NOT , NOT , NOT, RACISTS? OR PREDJUDICE? \nON ANY TRADITIONAL BASIS! BUT MYSELF, AND OTHERS, AND BELIEVE ME? AND I HAVE BEEN ASKING FOLKS I MEET ON THE STREET? \nTO COMPARE VIEWS? AND WHAT I NOTICE! ALSO? TRYING MY BEST TO NOT SOUND LIKE A RACIST? AND YES! THESE FOLKS READILY UNDERSTAND??? MEANING CANADIANS! AND MANY , YES MANY HAVE SAID FAMILY MEMBERS ARE CONCERNED TOO! AND HERE I JUMP IN ? AND SAY TO THEM!! IT IS THE LIBERALS WHO HAVE DONE THIS!!! THEY ALL LOOK AT ME? AND NOD? OR SAY OUT RIGHT YES! BUT THEY ARE \nDEFINATELY RETICENT TO SAY SO!!!! I BELIEVE THE LIBERALS HAVE TAKEN THIS MULTICULTURAL STUFF ??? WAY TOO FAR!!! IMMIGRATION IS OK? IF IT IS SLOW? \nA LITTLE AT A TIME? AND THESE FOLKS DO NOT BECOME DEMANDING! I PAID HUGE \nTAXES !! ALL MY LIFE! I HAVE HAD A HARD TIME! also, these immigrants need a lot of time to assimilate as Canadians! Also, I do not support , immigrants becoming members of Parliament in Ottawa? unless they are the third generation canadian born! BUT OTTAWA? IN MY VIEW ? HAS LOST ITS LEGITIMACY AND COMMON SENSE! WE NEED THE CONSERVATIVES IN POWER FOR A GOOD LONG TIME! THE LIBERALS ARE OUT OF CONTROL ? IN MY VIEW! \nAND MANY OF THESE PAKISTANIS/ AND INDIANS? MUST BE DEPORTED BACK TO THEIR COUNTRIES! FOR ME ? IT IS ALL TOO MUCH! kennethzakaib607@gmail.com\nMontreal 2024. AND I AM A GOD FEARING MAN TOO! I SAY THIS WITH A CLEAR CONSCIENCE ! I AM OK! WITH IMMIGRATION? AS LONG AS IT IS GRADUAL AND BASED ON THE NEEDS OF THE ECONOMY! NOT SOMETHING THE LIBERALS USE TO REPLACE CANADIANS! IN THE NEXT ELECTION!! SERIOUSLY!
| 2024-05-13 | 0 |
I said that Conservatives are light version of Liberals
| 2024-05-13 | 0 |
As a conservative I can tell you that Libs Creating new vote bank. These colleges are a big scam. The students know beforehand that its a track for immigration and are promised by agents in India. They primarily come from 2 states from India. Gujrat and Punjab. This is a systematic demographic change under fhe guise of education! Send them back!
| 2024-05-13 | 0 |
Well sadly this may be a thing that are going to upset conservative voters because we have no housing, poor healthcare, too high unemployment etc. start deporting people who is creating chaos and collecting our taxpayer dollars while Canadians are nearly into poverty. It’s not the govt problem that these schools were dis in genuine and the government should hold these schools accountable, not Canadian taxpayers
| 2024-05-13 | 0 |
Let's hope J Trudeau does not stay as PM in next election, time to bring back Conservatives
| 2024-05-12 | 0 |
So we’re both unfriendly to business yet also allow oligopolies. We don’t get enough foreign investment yet foreigners or ruining the housing market as investors. Somehow I don’t think the conservatives will do any better. ?
| 2024-05-11 | 0 |
This is nonsensical anti-Trudeau clickbait, probably paid for by the Conservatives and the housing industry. Gee, who opened the door to investors in housing? The Conservatives, who else. Do you seriously think the f'in CONSERVATIVES are going to provide more PUBLIC housing!? You not too bright if you believe that. Vancouver and yee-haw Austin Texas aren't even remotely the same city ?? Moral of the story, don't live in Vancouver or Toronto. DUH. An election must be coming...?
| 2024-05-11 | 0 |
If we never wasted money on the Zumwalt class ships (the whole idea was terrible from the word go) we could have paid for universal Healthcare easily for two decades. And honestly if you're queer it's a real issue in a lot of places, and in the current US political climate it's reasonable to worry about the more conservative political movement infecting every US state via national policy rather than being able to rely on your state to be cool.
| 2024-05-11 | 0 |
Good conservative propaganda, but lacks the literal basic fact that Federal government has historically been pushed away from housing spending by the Provinces, and the provinces instead pockets the change and blame feds for lack of funding
| 2024-05-10 | 0 |
Yes, Justin is a nightmare, but the alternative of a Conservative government is even worse! Like in the US, UK and other countries, we have no great options for good leadership. I wish the NDP would get their shit together. Also, you failed to mention the Bloc's dangerous impact in Quebec. They sap much of the Fed vote in our second most populated province. They should not be allowed to be a Federal party when they only have representation in one province. EVERY Federal election is won or lost by blowing Quebec.

R.I.P Good Ol' Brampton ! Tons of Fake Students with no intention to study or go back to their home country. Colleges in GTA and Halton/Niagara region are making money like crazy! Crime rate is sky rocketing, car jacking and stealing, and forced home entries and thefts are going crazy!! Thousands of fake students are committing crimes and threatening Canadians! Few other thousands stole tons of jobs from the real Canadians and high school students already! Even Niagara and Thorold / Wellend is screwed up and getting worst everyday by the same people! The Blame goes to Liberals & Justin T. First of all, send back all the fake students back to their country of origin! You'll solve more then 50% of the problem! I feel sorry for Canada already and liberals seems like not worried at all. Waiting for Conservatives so bad to come in power and deal with this already messed up issue otherwise, we all witnessed how REAL Canada and Ontario used to be till 2010 or so ... but not anymore. Thousands of people are already planning to move to Europe, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand already or already fled!
| 2024-05-09 | 0 |
Even when they get through, many would still get deported. Next year is our election year and so many are fed up with this immigration issue and may likely vote for conservatives who are much stricter when it comes to immigration. Liberals are trying to rectify these immigration catastrophe as they know they would pay the price with many MPs losing their seats due to their constituencies being overrun by asylum seekers.
| 2024-05-09 | 0 |
I’m not a fan of Justin but acting like the conservatives would have done anything better is delusional
| 2024-05-09 | 0 |
what you are describing is the result of neoliberal economic policies in many countries, it is true that trudeau implemented such policies but it is not unique and theres no evidence to think the conservatives wouldnt have done the same since in the us and uk conservatives were the ones to implement them
| 2024-05-09 | 0 |
THAT WOULD BE. THE CONSERVATIVE B S PARTY AND THERE SILVER TONGUED LIZARD PISS IN YOUR POCKET PEA AIR
| 2024-05-08 | 0 |
Conservatives and their bullshit need to pick a fucking lane. They simultaneously seem to believe that nobody wants to live here while also insisting that we can't allow all this immigration. Kinda weird for a country that nobody wants to live in, but then this is more about Trudeau Derangement Syndrome than reality.
| 2024-05-08 | 0 |
Tbh, I'm pretty satisfied with what Liberals did compared to my expectations. Lol. This is 100% better than conservatives and most of the problematics named here is not the Liberals fault. ??♀️
| 2024-05-07 | 0 |
Well, Canada as a whole is still well over 85% white European, fortunately. Despite what Wikipedia would tell you.\n\nThere are some signs of sanity beginning to creep back into Canadian politics though. The Roxham Rd. “loophole” is finally gone, by a newly implemented law and agreement between the United States and Canada. Canada is FINALLY reducing the number of student visas and temporary foreign workers entering this country. And I believe that Canadians have also finally had enough of Justin and the Liberals and will elect a Conservative or Conservative leaning government in the next election.\n\nThere are also other ways to peacefully protest what is happing with Canada right now. When it comes to employment, social or political circles, the white Canadian population can just stick with and help ourselves first before we can help anyone else. And that will depend on how easily or difficult it is for foreigners to assimilate and integrate into our country and culture. And if their behaviour is peaceful or violent and destructive.
| 2024-05-07 | 0 |
The next elections is in 2025, I hope the conservatives win, corruption has taken over my countries government, just writing this might pose me a risk. \nWho truly knows anymore, oh Canada how I hope you’re glorious once more.
| 2024-05-07 | 0 |
Did you forget to mention that 2 of the major conservative provinces are trying to block federal funding for housing to municipalities and how the leader of the opposition has a member of their party who works for a lobbying agency that works with loblaws which is increasing food prices?
| 2024-05-07 | 0 |
The thing I hate is people assuming that a change to the conservatives will fix all those problems, but looking at the past, conservatives bring more of the same while removing rights for minority groups and women. It's so sad to always have to vote for the lesser evil. Legit just want a party that gets in power, raises the minimum and tax the rich based on their assets instead of the money they hide away in offshore accounts or shares.
| 2024-05-07 | 0 |
I had voted for conservatives for decades, yes admittedly they had their own fair share of questionable decisions, but no where close in magnitude as high as NDP or liberals!!! Always voting for conservatives always
| 2024-05-07 | 0 |
Just to remind you that from Covid and the war in Ukraine, almost every country in the world is economically struggling. And for the conservatives, let me remind you that Canada is made and composed of immigrants, just to remember that Canada is not only for white people, in case you’d like to appropriate it like you have done almost everywhere in the world.
| 2024-05-06 | 0 |
conservative, liberal, same shit different packaging because both parties are responsible for this issue. That issue being for so many decades homes have been treated as investments domestically and from foreign investors instead of ACTUAL homes for people to live in. Now we're reaping the consequences and the country has long rotted from the core. Unless a tyrannical-ish gov steps up and curbs the shit out of investors, serial landlords, and collusion within the real estate market, we're doomed.
| 2024-05-06 | 0 |
Canada lost sight of its economy. While the lowlifes in Ottawa argue about semantics and other meaningless things, the economy is ever closer to precipice and ready to fall off the cliff. This is only made worse by housing problems, employment issues and uncontrolled immigration. Why is Canada doing this to itself? We need serious thinking conservatives in power.

THIS VIDEO CONSTITUTES BUNCH OF CRAP ? LIES AND FULL OF EXAGGERATIONS ? bottom line do NOT Vote for the Conservative Party.
