I'M A CANADIAN BORN AND RAISED HERE, I HOLD A JOURNEYMAN STATUS, IN THREE DIFFERENT TRADES, GLAZIER, ROOFER AND BUTCHER!!! \n\nALL OF WHICH, I WENT TO SCHOOL, TO HELP REACH MY JOURNEYMENT STATUS, FOR THESE TRADES! \n\nNOT ONE OF THESE TRADES, WOULD THE GOUVERMENT, GIVE ME A GOVERNMENT GRANT FOR OR ANY KIND OF SUPPORT, TO HELP ME START MY OWN COMPANY, WHICH I HELD JOURNEYMAN STATUS IN!!!\n\nTHE FACT THAT TWO OF MY TRADES, WERE IN CONSTRUCTION AND THE GOVERNMENT HAD CLASSIFIED AS SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT, SO I COULDN'T EVEN GET A BANK LOAN, TO START A BUSINESS, FOR THE SAME REASON!!!\n \nMY LAST TRADE, WAS IN THE MEAT INDUSTRY, WHERE WHO EVER OWNED THE BUSINESS IN THE MEAT INDUSTRY, MADE MONEY, UNTIL THE GOVERNMENT ALLOWED THE BIG CORPERATIONS TO TAKE OVER THE MEAT INDUSTRY!!! \n\nCUTTING OFF THE LITTLE MEAT STORE, WITH ALL THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTIONS AND REGULATIONS, KILLING OFF ALL THE LITTLE COMPETITION, FOR THE MAJOR CORPERATIONS, TO BUY OUT THE LITTLE GUY OR CUT OFF THE SUPPLY OF MEAT, COMING INTO TOWN!!!\n\nIN FACT MY LAST EMPLOYER SQUEASED, THE EMPLOYEE'S OUT OF THEIR JOBS, TO GIVE SKILLED LABOUR, HIGH PAYING JOBS, TO FOREIGN WORKERS, CUTTING THE WAGES IN HALF, FORCING DOWN THE WAGES IN THE INDUSTRY! WHEN THE FOREIGN WORKER PROGRAM, WAS FOR UNSKILLED JOBS!\n\nDID THE PRICE OF MEAT GO DOWN, NO! DID YOUR HOUSEHOLD DEBT GO DOWN, NO IN FACT IT WENT UP AND WITH THE CARBON TAXES, THE COSTS HAVE TRIPLED, HAS YOUR WAGES MATCHED THE COST OF LIVING, NO IT HASN'T, IN FACT IT HASN'T REACHED THE LEVELS, NEEDED TO BREAK EVEN!!!\n\nBRINGING IN MORE IMMIGRATION, IS NOT THE ANSWER!!! \n\nLIFTING UP PEOPLE OUT OF POVERTY AND STOPPING ABORTIONS, WILL HELP INCREASE THE POPULATION AND PUT PEOPLE BACK TO WORK, EVEN AT MINIMUM WAGES!!! \n\nWHICH ARE AT $15 DOLLARS PER HOUR, IF THE GOVERNMENT STOPPED STEALING THE OVERTIME WAGES, IT WOULD HELP PEOPLE OUT OF POVERTY, THAT MUCH FASTER, WITH A SENCE OF PRIDE!!!

I mean maybe the fact they can't get jobs, will make them return home. So hopefully this bad image that Canada is gathering will actually deter people from going there. I'm in Europe but I always keep an eye on Canada because I loved travelling that country. I hope life gets better for you guys soon. Im portuguese and it's the same thing here. Salaries were improving for the common Portuguese and now we got thousands of Nepali, Indian and Bengali people lowering the wages even more!! We need to STOP THIS!

Guys, is the western world falling apart, I came from SouthAmerica to Europe and it is the same, better of course but still the same kinda probems, I'm not an expert I dont know what's going on but inflation, housing prices and low wages are the rule.

Canada by itself is very WELCOMING, the problem is that you dive into the trap, there only ONE way to do this right, GIVE TO ALL IMMIGRANTS TIME BUFFER, like 1-2 year, don't destroy them from the start, it`s like I call friends to my home, I will say hey please feel free like in your house, but then ill throw them dirt to a face and ask them hey please be clean in my house go find place where to wash up and don't use my towel. Time that migrants spend to find JOB and HOME are exceed TIME they can afford living, it means LOW CREDIT SCORE, DEBT Problems, bad mood, anxiety, no hope, and boom you have more homeless guys. Politics should be supporting migrants very well not just throwing them to the streets, put some regulatory, cut some paperwork for applying a job, make RULE that every IMMIGRANT should go to government job like cleaning streets or IDK make it MUST, so there will be no situation where they don't have jobs. Tell me TORONTO are to clean ? there is no way to give incoming people what to do without DOZENS OF STUPID PAPERS? WORK PERMIT >> READY TO START WORKING FROM TOMORROW >>> DAY / NOON / EVENING >>> Min Wage >>> Social small houses with low rend for city workers. And believe me 1-2 month your city will be the cleanest city in the world with beautiful gardens. It just INNITIATIAVE . you as a GOVERMENT, have millions way to do this. sorry for you guys …. but this video is totally mis informative … I have been lived in many countries not only these two countries because of my work… and lived in Australia as well and currently now working in Canada from 1 year .. and trust me I am really regretting my decision to come and work in canada this is not same canada as it was in 2012 when I first came here … Its worst place to move in 2024 … specially low economy and too many desi’s …so now going back to Australia ?? after 2 months.. before moving to any country permanently read statistics do not go as per anyone’s personal experience

I'm from India and was in Indianapolis on work for one month. I thought i'll go nuts from the sheer lack of human contact. Practically nobody to talk to, the roads are empty, the streets are empty. If you start a random conversation with a guy in the street, he totally freaks out. Maybe it's different in other places but man it was very very depressing and i just couldn't wait to fly back. Of course, i love American people and they are very warm if you know them from before but strangers exchanging pleasantries, that is absent. It would be nice to just see people on the streets but no. Not sure how the kids keep themselves entertained

I used to work for a Canadian guy. He was a wealthy, successful man and had very few good things to say about the current state of things, and he was a success story. He's got 3 well educated, entrepreneurial sons and they're all going to the US.

Real estate in Australia is expensive because the nation is highly successful and ordinary citizens are wealthy, and this includes real estate, plus with 3 billion middle class Asian's right above Australia the Asian economy dwarfs the US economy to insignificance. Job opportunities are dictated by the fields the economy needs - oil is insignificant in Australia compared to other industries. Geographic Isolation - Thank god the rest of the world is far away, as an Australian I wish it was further away. Air fares prior to pandemic were reasonable USA to Australia around $800 return - but this guy lives in Perth so to go 4-5,000km to the east coast will be expensive - on the east coast a one way ticket to another city can be had for around $50 to $80 - Again for Australians proximity to the US market is not significant we are focused on the Asian region. Natural beauty anywhere is amazing but I prefer a warm climate over a frozen one - The Canadian population is all centered around the US/Canadian border region the rest of Canada like central Australia is vastly empty. In conclusion I find many immigrants want to move from Australia to Canada is proximity to the USA but for Australians the US market or lifestyle is not attractive or important.

You can be disillusioned or you can just accept the facts. I know a guy who's family moved from Spain to Argentina when Spain had a downturn in their economy. Now he has moved BACK to Spain when Argentina's economy took a downturn. Iran was nice for women in the 70's, now not so much. Countries go up and down throughout time. Why didn't you guys go back any earlier. Remember this is not a Muslim country and you cannot expect rest of Canada to follow Muslim. Please go back I will help you with your air-ticket if you are that broke. We are very happy in Canada and we are living a very comfortable life here. we don't live from pay cheque to cheque. We have enough money to enjoy Canada. We are not business owners or rich & famous people. We came here 20 years back and honestly thankful to God with our decision made to Migrate from Asia. well, keep your heads down and avoid crowds. there are many people that think canada is one of the best countries in the world. if you dont like it feel free to go. you guys seem like nice people. however you will be told what to do in muslim countries as well, more than you will know.

We live in Houston, Texas, where the culture is more conservative. Parents are not told how to raise their children, cost of living is still relatively good, and being Muslim (wife wears hijab) hasn't been as challenging as other places. \n\nPlenty of Muslims from all over, mosques, Islamic schools, halal food, etc too. \n\nMy parents moved my siblings and I from Los Angeles to Karachi, when I was 12. Not so much for religious reasons, more homesickness. After a miserable 15 yrs, I moved back to the US. \n\nI'm not trying to dissuade you guys. Wanted to share a few key things to help your transition:\n1. Pilot it out. Move to Istanbul for 6 months, then maybe Kuala Lumpur for another 6 months, etc. Test out each location. Inflation is everywhere. Not all Islamic countries are Islamic. But you have to experience it first hand. \n2. Take LOTS of money. A decent life outside the first world means you're loaded. \n3. Build connections where ever you go. The things we take for granted are luxuries elsewhere. Water, electricity, gas. Connections help you get what you need, sometimes for a price. \n4. Schools will be underwhelming. If you can homeschool, cool. \n5. If you start a business, go solo. Don't partner up with others. \n\nIn any case, hope it works out inshaAllah. Who knows, we may be neighbors!
