Why is india not asking for visas to enter the country? Especially from developed countries like UK, EU, US. India should atleast ask for tourist tax from foreigners. Many EU countries impose tourist tax from tourists. Today we see many foreigners making youtube videos of Indians to make money. Pay tax for the money earned in India

Daily I am rejecting Visa applications from Haryana, Punjab, Delhi areas as most of the applications are non genuine.

The problem here is Indians using forgery documents while applying for their visa and another classic case is donkey.Continuing to the problem breaking mostly every rule and regulations in foreign soil.Cheap labour is another problem where the basic salary would be 18 dollar an hour and an Indian worker would do it for 12 dollars an hour.There are a-lot of other factors.

I live in Spain. European tourist destinations are overcrowded with travellers. With more people wanting to travel abroad, higher %age of visas getting rejected is normal. No need to feel victim all the time.

You never mentioned what the Modi government’s actions are against these visa rejections? \nIndians are known to travel to many destinations on tourist or study visas and then simply stay back. Here's some eye-opening news to chew on from Canada: nearly 50K international students who got study permits to Canada decided to play hooky and never showed up at the colleges and universities they were supposed to attend. Ohh, and guess what? a whopping 20,000 of them are Indians. These folks were reported as non-compliant with their student visas, ditching the whole 'studying' part of the deal. Instead, some are busy with doing illegal jobs, while others have allegedly slipped across the border into the US illegally. But sure instead of earning the respect, let's kee p demanding for it...

Compared to the no of applicants from India the visa rejection rate is trivial. But, most of these countries will beg for tourists from India within a decade.

There are tons of visas being approved everyday, for Indians, for multiple countries. There are a lot of reasons why a visa is rejected, incomplete application, lack of suff funds, unable to explain the reasons for travel with adequate paperwork , and lot of other issues that every consulate has to deal with across the world. If the rejection rate is over 70%, that would be a concern and best not to travel to that place anyways.

Indians are notorious for overstaying their visas. The rejection rate is actually lower than I expected.

Indians should just be free to roam the world and we all must be so lucky they grace us with their presence…you are being a little arrogant here. You should see how Indians abuse visa. Not all. But most do and hence the restrictions. Let's keep nationalism aside for a bit. Law abiding Indians don't, but a lot of the other half want to abuse the visa route and vanish abroad to only defame their own country.
