What’s interesting the president of Mexico ?? preaches they are welcome back. She should question of why her own people need to leave their country to survive. She was voted in. She needs to stop preaching and control the cartels! She needs to fix her country so her people don’t need to survive out their own country. She needs to think and place action.

I’m an Indian passport holder living abroad due to personal reasons. I’m eligible for the citizenship of a country that most people would dream to get but I do not like to apply for the same because then I would have to renounce my Indian citizenship (India does not allow dual citizenship). Indians themselves are responsible for visa rejections because most of our people (not all) go under the disguise of tourists with the intention to settle in that country. What kind of treatment would you expect then? I came legally and despite never compromising with my cultural values, I have always felt welcomed in the country that I live in. It’s about how you present yourself in the country that you live in. People are good everywhere in this world.

Canada ?? 51 state of America welcome New Canada ?? ?? ??????
2025-01-21 0
All are welcome to come to Canada. Please have the decency to not slither in through the back door.
2025-01-21 0
Not the whole family. Come united state cannot take care anymore. Welcome immigrants but not all family
2025-01-21 0
I am also an immigrant, but the difference is I came legally. A person enters a country illegally is an intruder. Same thing if someone enters my home that is not welcomed is also an intruder. Common sense.

Mind your business Germany or your next. We voted for Trump. How about you give them tickets to Germany. Last i heard Germany has closed its border. Better yet take our woke too. They are welcomed. They are Americans. But for you! You are not Germany. Sorry for the rant people. These media type from other countries has no business. We are not European

Bazzar statement of the day: Mexico welcomes Mexicans

Let’s just get rid of the current asylum laws and stop pretending to the world that the US is a nation of compassion that welcomes with open arms the tired, the poor, the huddled masses yearning to breathe free, as poet Emma Lazarus once said. Those times are over.

You are welcome to come to the U.S. but do it legally if you do it illegally then you face punishment
2025-01-21 0

The United States, like any sovereign nation, has the undeniable right to control immigration. Simply wanting to live and work in a country, even if you’re willing to go through a legal process, does not automatically entitle you to be welcomed. Each nation has a fundamental responsibility to prioritize the best interests of its citizens, ensuring that immigration policies align with its economic, social, and security needs.\n\nWhen someone enters the U.S. without following the proper legal procedures, they are breaking the law. It is unreasonable to expect a warm welcome when the very first act upon entering the country is a violation of its laws. This disregard for legal processes undermines the integrity of the system and sends a troubling message to those who have worked hard and waited patiently to immigrate the right way.\n\nImmigration laws are not merely bureaucratic hurdles, they exist to uphold order, security, and fairness. To disregard them not only disrespects the system but also those who abide by it. It is not about lacking compassion for those in need; rather, it is about maintaining the principle that laws matter and that the rule of law is foundational to a strong and equitable society.\n\nRespecting a country’s immigration laws is the first step toward earning the trust and acceptance of its citizens. Those who choose to bypass these laws should not expect to be welcomed with open arms, as doing so undermines both the system and the values that the United States, and any country, must protect.

No one has been crying about over 350,000 children gone missing. Or the sex slavery of many illegal women and children. All possible only through open borders. Most people are like me and welcome legal immigrants.
2025-01-21 0
It’s about time some one shut the borders down in ??. Cant keeping leaving the front door open . Bye bye Joe and welcome back common sense.
2025-01-21 0
So the argument is if someone jumps the fence and pitches a tent in your front yard, you should welcome them with milk and cookies? What does that say about the legal immigrants who have to go through a stringent process ?.. why do we even need visa ?
2025-01-21 0
What did they expect? Really ……….American’s voted and said enough…. Come legally. Get vetted, Get a social number and pay taxes from day one. Then hey welcome to America.

Ms. Sharma went to Oxford and gave a cringeworthy performance about the supposed strength of Indian passport and how it is the envy of the word. So. didn't expect much substance from the propaganda spreading jingoistic journalist. She conveniently missed mentioning the real reasons why visa applications of Indians get rejected -\n1) Thousands of Indians go on tourists visas only to 'disappear' and never return. It doesn't just happen in Canada, US, UK, Aus but also welcoming countries like Thailand, UAE.\n2) Indian Visa (to visit India) itself is one of the most expensive and complicated to get for foreigners, so other countries have no incentive to make it easier for Indian citizens.\n3) Developed countries know that if they make it 'easier' for Indians to travel to their country, they will end up with tens of thousands who wont want to go back to India. It is already the case when its difficult to get a visa, imagine the situation if its made easier.\n4) Most of the Indian tourists fall under the mass category, they are not like the heavy spending Chinese tourists. We are not the most well behaved, so till we start getting more affluent, we wont be in as much demand.

As an NRI I honestly don't see what the problem is with this and if anything more stringent measures should be put in place. Look at the state of Canada. Is anyone honestly surprised that anti-Indian sentiment exists? It isn't racist. It's common sense. Behave and assimilate or you're not welcome. This should be a rule (and not just an ideal) that all nations and people should aspire to.
2025-01-20 0
I'm Australian of Indian origin and i support the rejection it should be more strict than now, have you seen how Indian behaves after they get visas, On Indian talent haha 95% indian's are unemployable and most of the Punjab, Haryana and Gujrat has fake degrees. Most of the south indian are decent n smart people and welcomed. how many taxi driver and 7 eleven staff any country can accept?
2025-01-20 0
Maybe cause many overstay their welcome.?

You're leaving CANADA, which is consistently rated in the TOP FIVE internationally, in freedom and standard of living -- and you're going WHERE? If you seriously think you'll do better someowhere else, LEAVE. No one will miss you. But when you realize what you've given up and what you've got INSTEAD, you won't be welcome back.
2025-01-19 0
I am surprised. Here she talks about visa rejections and how India's passport raking has been falling. \n\nIn lecture given by her at Oxford Union she was all gung-ho on how Indian passport is now respected across the globe. And how even British bow to Indians and how other countries are welcoming Indians with folded hands.

can't give an opinion about living in USA, because I never stayed for long (only for vacations or short visits), but as a visitor, I used to go once or twice a week in the 90's (I used to live 5 minutes drive from the border), as a visitor, I was always welcomed and made friends very easily. Of course, being only a visitor, I didn't have to experience day to day life or any major problems. About police presence, I guess it depends where you go in USA, I'm from Montreal & we also have a very visible police presence (guess it's common in bigger cities). Didn't have any problems with police in USA, like everywhere, if you comply, you'll have good relationship with policemen. If you try to play or disrespect them, you're in for some trouble--no different here in Canada.

Well if you tell this data to common public, they will say you are antinational or hinduphobic. Welcome to new India ?

JUST BECAUSE THE WEST IS USING INDIA TO STOP THE RISE OF BRICS OR FINANCING INDIAN ANTI CHINA HATE AND PROPAGANDA DOES NOT MEAN YOUR WESTERN MASTERS WANT YOU INDIANS IN THEIR NATIONS.. SORRY INDIA THIS IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INDIA AND CHINA..THE CHINESE KNOW THEY ARE NOT WELCOME IN THE WEST SO THEY DEVELOPED THEIR NATION WHERE WESTERNERS ARE FLOCKING TO CHINA. NO ONE RESPECTS A NATION WHERE 75 % OF THE POPULATION IS LIVING IN HELLISH POVERTY AND OPEN DEFECATION IS THE NORM. STOP DEMANDING THAT OTHER NATIONS TAKE IN YOUR OVER POPULATED POPULATIONS.YOU GUYS ARE CELEBRATING THE WORLDS LARGEST POPULATION, THEN TAKE CARE OF YOUR PEOPLE.

Wow! It is good to see some objectivity in the reporting instead of the usual self agrandizing and singing paeans about how welcoming foreign immigration authorities are when they see our passports.
2025-01-18 0
the likes of Palki and so called other journalist is if something bad happens to Indians the other party is racist but if something bad happens to people in China, Nepal, Bangladesh etc the reason is those countries citizens. They have made millions pandering lies and will continue to do so. Where is herviswaguru and welcome for indians speech in Oxford now.\n\nAs they say you dont have to go to war to destroy a nation but just inbibe in their mind falsehood and they will themselves take the plunge to hell.

IIT graduates are welcome in Canada to achieve their dreams and build a bright future. Canada values fairness and opposes fraud...

We r just too messy, noisy and behavior is plain bad..we have no consideration for personal space of others and constantly bump others with our bulging stomachs...long way to go to feel welcomed by the world.
2025-01-18 0
FRANKLY SPEAKING THE VARIOUS COUNTRIES YOU HAVE POINTED PUT WHO REJECT VISA APPLICATIONS FROM INDIA ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT WELCOMED SO WHY DONT YOU ENCOURAGE THESE INDIAN PEOPLE NOT TO GO TO THESE FOREIGN COUNTRIES?????
2025-01-18 0
Simple. Our cities are becoming s* h*... Foreigners are welcome, but in small numbers. Not like London where foreigners are 60%.
2025-01-18 0
Welcome to Russia ??

True! West won't answer your question but You too are hiding significant details in this video. Also true, West relies in Indian talent however that does not mean the talented ppl should be above the social construct. In US DFW airport as soon as you exit the airport premises you will start smelling awful odor, walk few steps ahead you will see the reason, all the poles are covered with a grainy red paint like stuff, which as a proud Indian, you would definitely know what it is. Its not like the administration don't clean the place, however, it is still in that condition. This is just 1 of many reason why Indians are being looked at as nuisance these days. Also, what is with Indian mindset to turn everyplace into India, yes culture, tradition and diversity should be welcomed, accepted, and tolerated but if your behavior borderlines with colonizing then, things will head south very fast and that is what most of the Indians do. And finally, what is with Indian behavior, if they are treated with respect they misunderstand it with being submissive and try to dominate the people that are being respectful until they are shown their place and if they are misbehaved then they act as if they are being discriminated. So as a media person, it would be a good thing if you publish a video telling Indians to learn ethics, learn social sentiment, learn proper behavior, and most of all learn to quit back-stabbing behavior before they leave for other countries and I believe in a decade or two these misfortunate events will slowly start to decline.
2025-01-18 0
Or it could be the reputation of being known as people who don't particularly like going back home on time once you are welcomed in other countries that has led to these rejections
2025-01-18 0
Didn't Hindustanis attack African students just for being black. How do they expect other cultures to welcome millions of Indians?
2025-01-18 0
Considering how so many Indians behave in other countries, this is welcome news
2025-01-17 0
Aren't we Vishwaguru!? Then why are the Indian Passports always looked at with skepticism by the immigration abroad. Even at the Bangkok airport they look at us suspiciously. Only at Kuala Lumpur I thought they appeared a bit welcoming. Reasons, already given in the above comments. We have to look inwards. Looking at everything with the lens of hollow nationalism won't help us. Being 5th largest economy is due to the size of our population. Please club the size of economy with our per capita income...and you get the real picture.

To those talking about “civic sense” or that when Indians “learn manners” they will be welcomed - I have a sad fact to tell you. It’s all bull. Behaving like a goody good will only get you more disrespect. If you want your visas approved and respect from others, respect yourself. Hold your passport and your head up high. Leverage your economic strength and demand respect just like China and the west do. Palki is right, whether you like it or not.

Singapore welcomes the Ceca Indians. Only wish they should improve their bad social behaviour in public places and be good neighbours in public housing estates.
2025-01-17 0
Contrary to what you said about India rising- I beg to disagree with you. Indian workers abroad are resorting to all sorts of scams everywhere they go (apple sacking Indian workers for malpractices is the latest example). Suddenly Indian people are not welcome anywhere and the falling of our passport rankings is indicative enough. Just go to Thailand and though you are free to roam around you are not really welcome!
2025-01-17 0
Lindos not welcome anywhere ????????
2025-01-17 0
Welcome to Sri Lanka ??
2025-01-17 0
We must not tell others wheather to accept our visa or not. It's their home, their turf, their rules ,their call. And many are pointing out in the comments about our behaviour. If that's true (and it must be based on our behaviour in our own country) we need to fix that first... Let's not become Karens. Lets come out of the cuccoon of misunderstanding that we all are innocents and are welcome everywhere!!
2025-01-17 0
You are mistaken Ms Palki. This is not true. Every where Indian passports are welcome without problem. India is the global power, strongest and fastest growing economy and a military power everyone fears.
