And people need to start realising that Indian cities have the goods to offerif you work hard during early education. Canada is easy copout. Do not sell your lands and take Hefty loans!

i was born in Montreal and i moved here 8yrs ago. Everything people hear or say about Toronto is a lie. Toronto is going downhill fast and the powers that be dont seem to care. The TtC is in shambles and prices are sky high and no relief in sight as the blame is put on non sensical reasons. Blaming the poor and international students for Torontos problems is absurd but that is what we have. I know many who are playing the system to get what they need. Actually throughout the 1960s - present day, Many immigrants from Europe migrated over to Canada to migrate through to United States. thats also including Canadians. Plus natives to tronoto, Montreal, who are going professional in hockey come over to teams of America. Plus normal people needing jobs will come to America. Plus Canada does not have enough area to hold more people that they already have. Thats why people move. and you put down America like were melting, America is rising, and has already beaten all other countries. And we have millions of immigrants coming South America, Europe, Asia, etc.

I think if you put them in a commune and quarantine them and put them through due process,temporarily help with housing after you do these things for our own citizens. and let them get job and start paying there own way like everybody else and not sending their money back to people across the border by working for cash under the table. That's why they need to be registered. They need to be registered to keep them from doing bad things to people and not paying the consequences because they're not registered legally.This is some of the problem.

the problem is at the origin, why should american taxpayer money go to fund the education of an indian when those money could be used to fund education for same iq same capacity american taxpayer citizens, or better you could use these money to help am rican citizens in need to have a house and stay up, immigration is nothing of useful, if we rely on foreigners to keep up our structure means our structure is useless and cant stay alone, its meant to die, rather we need to invest in our youngsters, in our faimilies to make more children and put these investments in make those children smart and capable and make our country work, not in spending to make other countries colonize our, we can do ourself with our young generations and our families.

Simply put, he is wrong to make this assessment having spent less than 3-4 years in the country, is yet to have the qualifications that he came with vetted so he can apply for the jobs he is trained to do, and is still a student. I can understand that due to his age.. (which I guess is 45-55) he is also hard-pressed to settle quick and start making money. He needs to be patient pay his dues and integrate into the system. Racism will fade and he will learn how to deal with it. I wish him well and hope he settles quick.

Hello brothers and sisters I’m seeing a problem here. The interest rate in the late 1970s and early 1980s interest rate was 12-18%. People\nComing now are in MUCH better financial condition then people who came then with nothing. The difference is two main things: many new immigrants don’t have the same drive and motivation that previous immigrants in terms of sacrifices such as not driving a mustang, but they also didn’t just settle for labour jobs, they used their brains and began business along side labour. Second thing is, the immigrant wants to see the result before putting in the work. If after getting out of the horrible conditions of India and coming to Canada, a country loaded with opportunities, you still have difficulties then you need to change your expectations and work ethic to match, if they don’t then don’t complain. Cost of living is not the issue, it is the false expectation that they give themselves. To be quite honest with you it takes most immigrants one generation not 5-10 years, so either start working smarter or wait to have this reflection of what Canada is like until you have lived here for 50 years.

I blame African political leaders for loosing such bright minds!period!we need to start putting up systems to ensure no more brain drain in Africa! African leaders should start being proud!

Millions of Canadians no longer have a family Doctor….waiting lists are tremendous…people are not getting the healthcare like in the past. What is the solution to the problem?…the Trudeau government say we need to bring in millions more people to build homes……WHAT? Really? Would you buy 1000 horses or cows without a barn ? NO! Why not put the millions of people you already brought into this country to work building houses instead of working at Walmart or fast food joints or delivering trucks. Low income jobs to keep the companies here happy with cheap labour so they can made big profits instead of paying Canadians a living wage! It is all about moneymaking, greed, and votes, to hell with the taxpayers of Canada!

It would be different if they respected our way of life when they got here, or even tried to assimilate. They can’t even do that. And what really pisses me off is how freaking entitled they are. I lived in Canada from 1983 to 2016 after I left the US Air Force in '83. I was born in the SF Bay area, and grew up there in the Hippie peace love/Viet Nam era in the 60's and 70's. I now live in Seattle. As we have travelled to San Fran, New Orleans, Nashville, Miami, Vancouver (Canada) and New York in the last 6 months, I kinda have a pretty good idea how it was on both sides of the border way back then, as well as right now. We have 2 rental homes, and I STILL have to work until I'm 70 to retire without worrying about losing it all because of the the high cost of health care. Your observation of race/political/religion relations are naive at best, you need to travel the country first hand to see it. Canada has it's far share of right wing crazies as well. They're mostly not armed, and most fights are 5 minute shouting matches. I know this because I work on construction sites. Canada doesn't have commercials for pharma or ambulance chasers. Because big pharma is kept in check, and with a population slightly smaller than California, frivolous lawsuits would clog the courts. If the PM killed some one on the corner of Yonge and Bloor in Toronto, he'd go to jail. You can get an abortion in Canada. There's a fraction of the Fentanyl crisis happening in Canada, and they have waaayy less homeless in the street. Canada has 2 weeks paid vacation AND paid holidays. The tax rate is higher in Canada, but many of the benefits make up the difference. It's cheaper to buy a house in Seattle than Vancouver. You can get a 30 year mortgage in Washington as well, instead of 5 or 10 years. Good and services tend to be cheaper and more plentiful Stateside. Mail service runs on weekends, it hasn't done that in Canada since the 80's. As it stands, I'm in Seattle right now because it isn't the typical US city by far. But I'm thinking when it comes to retiring, I'm putting Canada on the list. Being a dual citizen also makes me eligible for the other Commonwealth (universal health care) countries like Australia.

Employers dont hire people without experience because of Justin Trudeau and his dam skilled immigration crap. Now there is too much skilled people looking for the same jobs. I went to a local job fair in a small building and it was overloaded with immigrants. There was only 7 employers hiring and in a room about the size of a classroom for 30 students. Yet there was 500 immigrants. You couldn't walk without pushing people. Even the hallways and the outside parking lot was crowded.... This is ridiculously way too much! We not to put a stop to the immigration and start making people go back to wherever they came from! And Justin Trudeau needs to be put in jail! I am a bilangual white french Canadian with perfect fluent french and english. I was born here in Ottawa and even i am struggling when trying to find a job and Justin Trudeau keeps trying to get more people in. That guy is seriously mentally unfit to be prime minister. Lack of affordable housing -- lack of housing in general -- is the main reason people already living here are being priced out and why so many refugees and immigrants cannot afford the cost when they move here. When these people come to Canada for a better life and/or to escape the suffering that they were living in, they cannot bring their homes with them. It is the government's responsibility at all levels to ensure that these newcomers have a place to go when they come here. A homeless shelter should not be the answer. Buy up office spaces and convert them (if safe to do so with whatever codes need to be met) into affordable housing units. For years we've been seeing hundreds of news articles about vacancies in office buildings being at all time highs, yet only a handful of them are being converted. 500,000 people a year entering a country where there isn't enough housing for them (let alone the people living here already) is irresponsible on the government's part. If this is your pledge, at least give these people a better life and not send them to shelters or onto the streets as soon as they arrive. If Canada is to truly be a safe haven for immigrants and refugees escaping their hardships, it's paramount that the government does what it can to make these people actually feel like their life will change for the better. I'm all for immigration since it helps the economy and knowing that Canada can put people in a better position for themselves and their families, but it's the lack of preparation from the governments that makes me question their pledge in this way.

If these people put forth the same amount of effort shown here into there own country. This is a human tragedy. I try to put myself in their place, with my daughter, desperately needing a safe haven for us and being treated with disdain and hate. I don’t know how refugees have the courage to keep going.

Such Indian students often always make it big & successful in real life...as they are lazy and jugaadu. Such people's Biographies need to be included as a part of the Syllabus for Indian students. Because it's Practical & Really works...rather than taking student life seriously. Indian parents even today are too serious about Formal Education. As a Canadian here are my views on the problems here:\n1.Government waste/spending\n2. Insane taxes, we literally pay taxes on our tax here. When you add it all up the lower tax brackets after their 15% gst pay about 45% of their income in taxes alone. Provinces like Nova Scotia are disgusting when it comes to the tax they pay. \n3. Easy immigration, we should consider immigrants based on what they can do for Canada, we don't need hundreds of thousands who can't work or refuse to work. It's a strain on the system. The immigration also artificially increases housing costs.\n4.Government corruption, it's part of why the taxes are so high. It's also part of the recent hyperinflation Canada has suffered. Just look up Trudeaus WE charity Scandall or SNC Lavalin Scandal, some even say Trudeau was getting kickbacks from the vaccine which I have yet to see evidence of but I personally believe it. \n5. Politically illiterate voters and propaganda, here in Canada the government likes to keep it's people uninformed and how they do it is through propaganda. The Liberals have every major news source in Canada in their pocket and in order for you to get news that isn't influenced by them you have to specifically search for them by name, those include Rebel News, TFI Global, and True North. Almost everything else is incredibly biased, they selectively report the news and in many cases outright lie. This causes extreme political illiteracy in it's population.\n6. Housing rules, here in Canada there are some really stupid bylaws like the main floor of your primary dwelling must be 900sqft in some areas, plus building codes prevent cheap construction of homes. You could have a tiny home on piers and it wouldn't cost much but because of our laws and codes it's impossible. You need a proper foundation, footings, building permits, ad in order to get a permit you need to submit blueprints, etc. You can't just buy a prefab building set it on piers and live in it. That'd be too easy, that'd make housing affordable and the government wouldn't like that. \n7. Woke indoctrination centers, The public education system here is all about putting in regular kids and pumping out future Liberal voters. It's a mess.\n8. You can't defend yourself, In Canada you aren't allowed to carry a weapon for self defense. If a criminal breaks into your home you are supposed to do everything you can to escape rather than defend your property. Criminals have more protection under the law than the law abiding citizens. \n9. Low wages, because of immigration wages are low compared to the USA for most jobs in most locations\n10. Thigs cost more in Canada than the USA after taking into consideration currency conversion rates, even things manufactured in Canada\n11. The cold. Nobody likes the cold for the 4-6 months of the year that the higher populated areas of the country have it. The more densely populated areas also tend to be the warmest. \n12. Fascist leaders. It's no secret Justin Trudeau and the Liberals are fascists\n13. Governmental links to the WEF, you'll own nothing and you'll be happy or so their add said. The truth is Canadians can afford less and less under Liberal leadership which is no surprise since Justin Trudeau and Chrystia are supporters of the WEF.

What did he think was gonna happen? You were already in the US, which comparatively speaking to Central America, is much safer by every metric. Why would you then leave the US to come to Canada? Of course you can’t seek asylum because you’re not a refugee. \n\nDon’t get me wrong, I believe that if people follow the legal procedures for the country they wish to reside in, they should at least have a chance at residency. However, this guy is an economic migrant, and if he wishes to live in Canada then you shouldn’t be filing for asylum, you need to apply for residency.
