Trumps small, petty ego battles are very costly to the average American and to lives around the world. Trump does not care. He is incapable of empathy. His ego battle and extortion racket with Zelenskyy is costing lives. Trump doesn't care. He wants to absorb Canada into the USA so he can exploit it's abundant natural resourses, redirect fresh water across the border and give their military free reign of the arctic regions of the country. Canada already taxes US imports at an average of 25%, so these US tariffs only balance the playing field.
