I am now ashamed of what Trudeau has done to this country. He has bankrupted the country which is close to collapsing. He has opened the floodgates to all immigrants mostly Eastern Asians from India and elsewhere. They have brought with them in fighting from their country. There's not enough infrastructure to house or feed these people. The prices of groceries are out of this world. We often see a lack of grocery items in the stores. I have to purchase products online like Amazon. In the province of Alberta, there are no family Drs. to be had. The city of Edmonton has about 6 or 7 Drs. taking new patients. I would not recommend anyone to move to Canada. I would wait until the PC government gets into power and starts to rebuild this country. We need a government that has their feet firmly on the ground.

I bet another reason the government would rather have rentals is they usually pay twice the property taxes that homeowners do. That can amount to tens of thousands a year difference in tax revenue for each and every property on a street. Sad but true.....\nStill I have to agree with the high immigration numbers. It seems I've always had a general idea of what a Canadian looks like but the past years I'm regularly seeing people that look Chinese, Indian, African, Arab.... all kinds of ethnic looks calling themselves Canadian. i am from hamilton and we are still very diverse here. yes brampton is quiet loaded with indians. i think what has failed is the requirements for immigration has dropped. i mean we use to have highly educated people come in but now the standards have dropped. so anyone with low standards can come walk in. pubjabi votes for jagmeet or trudeau and they are the group with highest crimes in india the state of punjab and there is a big drug and drinking culture that comes here. the minute our standards grow up with immigration requirements then we will get more educated bunch coming in. when we have greedy power hungry people run the country this is what happens. now people are fed up. the other day i was at freshco and some white guys started to lecture me and he openly admitted he is a racist. i pulled out my camera and started to record. he backed off but he could have done anything. he rude and stupid. i was also quiet upset. people were not like this and were more accepting. i can understand his frustration but he said openly he was racist and called me Fxxxxxxx indian etc... this is out of line. i also gave him a mouth full. i told him i have been here 35 years and his mood changed but its quiet disappointing how people react. its not safe or respectful. not sure where we are headed in canada.

Just because you had the privilege and the means to be developed does not give you the right to demean other nations. In the information sector and other highly skilled areas, they are present earning loads of money which reverberates to more tax money for the government. \n\nI know that they have major issue with absorbing the host country culture and I believe that can probably or maybe alleviated by having some cultural programs so that they can fit into the society so that the Canadian culture is upheld. It's always difficult to see changes around you and your home being in your words being raided by foreign entities. Guess what? The world is filled with different ethnic groups. Hundreds of years ago all your native homes were part of the indigenous people here and they didn't even have time to complain or lament online when the Europeans butchered them and massacred their homelands, claiming the land and setting up as their own. Now you are in a position to call something your home and we all know what all your ancestors did regardless of how good you are right now. The least you can do is not comment such provocatively online against other ethnicities or is this atrocity still there in your blood. It's very simple. Try to think beyond frustration and be grateful for what you have. \n\nBy the way I can write more but I don' think it's worth my time but maybe positive things can happen if you put your mind into.

I live in Atlanta, GA, USA, and I have called 911 like 7 times since I’ve lived here (3 years). Each time I have called it has taken the police about an hour and a half to come to my house. Crazy!

White Brampton millennial resident who grew up in 99.9% white East Coast here- this video does not provide an accurate representation of the entire city. It shows a tiny sliver. Brampton’s crime levels are lower than most other GTA cities. I feel safer here as a single woman than any other city I’ve lived in. There are Indians calling back home to their families in India in the middle often the night and they often go outside so as to avoid disrupting the sleeping members of their household. This makes me feel very safe bc I know there are normal ppl out late at night and it dissuades criminals. For the population size of Brampton, the homeless population is very low. There are folks who do sit in front of that church - tho it’s not at all dangerous like you said. There is a homeless enclave hidden in the woods behind a shopping plaza too. I see almost no homeless ppl. The biggest problem about Brampton and other suburbs of the GTA is that there are many scammers. They scammed their way into buying homes with fake T4s. They scam the CRA by not claiming their rental income so they tax evade. They use all this extra money to buy more homes which they rent out and fraudulently put them under their family members names to avoid designating them as investment properties meaning they don’t have to pay capital gains tax when they sell. The delivery guy made the mistake of not recording the customer as well! This type of behavior by anyone is unprofessional and should be reported to the place of the customer's employment. The customer also talks in an accent and not because hes mocking the indian accent but it seems he has a jamaican ,Haitian , or African accent. He calls the indian guy brown and thats clearly an indication of racism. Putting the food on the ground and mocking him to pick it up is an indication of superiority and he is trying to degrade the delivery person. this in itself is a form of harassment i can venture a guess as to what color the customer is! I see alot of negative comments against indians and a lack of support for indians and thats only because most other races simply dislike indians. If the delivery person was a black man or hispanic i bet there would be riots all over the place. The name of the game is..if you are too kind you will get stepped all over. Even tho most Canadians in the earlier years were mostly white, it was multicultural because they all came from many other countries and cultures. They still held on to their traditions but yet also formed a Canadian culture.\nTheir was a huge population of Chinese people too. They stuck together in large areas, many didn't speak english. Similar to Quebec maybe. They mostly spoke french and I remember a time when they didn't really like english speaking whites around. Seems like the premier would like it to stay that way. Protecting the culture. \nIn the 80's on the west coast I watched thousands of Sikh's and Punjabi's and similar move into large areas and take over many jobs in large companies. Lumber mills, rail yards, papermills and so on. I went to one job interview and outside the office window was a whole shift of people wearing turbans. Must have been 50 to a 100 of them. 3 years earlier when I toured that place in grade 12, it was all white people. What happened? That was around the time of the recession and jobs were getting scarce. The only people in line for job interviews were white people and the interviewers would not accept anyone without grade 12 and previous experience. Here is what I overheard as people were getting interviewed, Experience? No. NEXT. Experience? Yes. Graduate? No. NEXT!\nAfter 6 months of this I moved to oil country Alberta and Had 6 job call backs in the first day. At 2 to 3 times the pay I would have had in BC. Never looked back. But now that the industry has been attacked and the immigration has skyrocketed, Alberta is in decline.\nJust my 2 cents worth, and the people I mentioned back then, I have nothing against. I knew many and they were good people. \nBut the immigrants of today I feel to many are of another breed and not the same as before them.

Man we do forget our history! This has been a long time coming, anyone remember when they started to call it Bramladesh not Brampton. That was way back, like 40 years as I remember. \n\nBramladesh \nColloquial name for the Toronto suburb of Brampton (Ontario, Canada).
