The plan is particularly cruel and it looks to be extremely racist in nature. It looks as though it is going to cost $10K per person to deport them so why not offer people $10K per head if they will leave voluntarily? However, can the USA afford to lose all these people? There will be massive job vacancies that cannot be filled, so many businesses will have to close down, causing hardship to the business owners. Perhaps the first step should be to find out why these people are considered to be such a drain on America's economy. It seems to me that they make a massive contribution. Then you end up with a huge issue of Homeless people trying to live in Tents in the middle of winter. j You have a vast number of elderly women taking to van life because they can't afford to live any other way. Would you like to your Grandma living in Van, constantly on the go? YOu are being UNAmerican in your news reporting, when you fail to give fair reporting and do equal amount of investigating into who this actually affects amount the American people. I was working DoorDash making about 300 and something dollars a day I was able to feed my family and pay my rent, then the legal immigrants came. They all had cars. They were all sitting inside of the parking lot waiting for orders and then I started to make about $60 for 12 hours of work I had to leave California and lost my place and could not afford anything!!! How did they get cars? How are they able to work here without proper documentation? Please get them out of here so I can get back to work. None of them could even talk to me and speak English.

Montrealer here. You can send your kids to any school you can afford. If they're destined to be part of the elite (because you have a lot of money, or whatever), they'll fit right in. Just make sure you can afford all the years it'll take for them to graduate. Otherwise, the switch could be a bit rough on them.\n\nIf you drive, invest in winter tires, even if the province you're in don't make them mandatory. They sure are in Quebec, and they make a big difference while driving in snow.\n\nDon't wear your winter clothes (big puffy jackets, knit hat and scarf, etc.) before winter. Get some in-between-seasons clothes (polar sweaters and jackets, long sleeves t-shirts, cotton scarfs, hiking boots, etc.) If you dress super warm while still in fall, you'll freeze come winter. You have to give your body a chance to acclimate itself to the lower temperature. \n\nWhen buying clothes for winter, the secret to being warm is NOTHING TIGHT. Get a loose jacket, and boots you can move your toes in, with a good sole (no thin cute leather boots please, they are not for winter, just for show), and wear them with fluffy socks, no tight bands. Also, get mittens instead of gloves, much much warmer. And a loose tuque, or ear muffs with the hood of your jacket.\n\nAnd get a pair of ice cleats, for those days when everything is covered in ice. I also came to Canada in 2006 as an immigrant with my 2 bags and started my new life with empty handed which almost all Indians had started on their time. Yes it’s very hard to adopt other cultures 100% for first generation. But have you think how this new immigrants have their own house and good jobs or business. Why their kids achieved higher education without any loan because their parents worked 7 days without looking around so called culture. They believe in work hard and focus on their family and kids and in extra time visit temple or Gurudwara just to keep live their believes. Do you know how many places where you find 3 times free hot food for everyone in Brampton at Gurudwara and Temple without looking at his originality. \nDon’t think the immigrants are coming here are poor in their country or helpless like refugees. Most of are millionaires in India but in Indian culture the stupid thoughts is to earn for next 7 generations so because of that greediness they work here 7 days and that’s why they are not homeless. As they have some values of their Indian culture they have not drug addictions.\nNot 100% Indian are good and loyal or honest. There are few which you can find in any culture or religion.\nSo in bottom line immigrants are here because of govt policies and invitations. They are not came as refugees. You can’t forced anyone where they have to stay and in how many percentage. Many people don’t live in GTA or ran away from GTA because they can’t afford house and can’t stand in competitive market. Government should skilled own citizen or make more powerful before invite highly skilled immigrants from other countries otherwise new immigrants will take jobs from original and that will be continued with us too.

Usually, international students have to pay most of this money before applying for the study visa. \n\n\n2. These colleges employ Canadians for their day to day operations. From cleaning, maintainance, administration to teaching, each college operates with approx 20-30million budget. So, more students lead to more employment for Canadians who further pay taxes.\n\n\n3. All students start work straightaway, pay taxes, and do not qualify for social security. They do not qualify for any student loans by Canadian govt or banks. So, they generate revenue for Canada through their work and taxes. The thing that govt LOVES.\n\n\n4. These students become new consumers and their expenditure generate revenues for local businesses.\n\n\n5. Most Colleges would not survive without international students. Which is good in the sense that only quality colleges will survive and other hanky panky colleges would shut down. However, such closures will lead to job losses, bankruptcy when the colleges won't be able to afford their expenses.\n\n\nSo, considering these factors it will be an industry collapse. Govt needs to control immigration. They need to introduce intelligent policies. The steps that current govt is currently taking are politically motivated not rational.

I'm from South Africa and after watching docs on different countries I just realise that every country has its problems, I didn't battle 1 bit when looking for a rental for my son, it's a bachelor flat but very neat, modern and he cn afford it, in fact there are a lot of vacant rentals, buying is another thing, also way too expensive
