This comment is not address to the fine lady on the video. \n\nIf anyone not born in Canada does not like it (weather, societal values -respect towards women free decision making, towards lgbtq, love for dogs, free speech, sexual education, history, political system, taxes, government intervention, etc.) then leave! No one is pointing a gun to their heads to keep them in the country. They really are free to go. Stop whining, take up responsibility for your own life and leave!

I have seen students bringing their parents and relatives to Canada on visit visas and they were working illegally in big corporations and leave every 6 months and come to continue that! While some Canadian citizens aren’t able to bring their parents for life events such as having a new baby (like me)!!!

I've lived in Canada all my life I haven't had a doctor in 2 years. In my 60s I now have to go and sit in emergency every month to refill my prescriptions. I often spend 12 to 14 hours a month because there are no doctors in Alberta! These people should go home we don't have the room and we have enough Truck drivers!

Glad to see this talk. I will vote for your party again for the third time. Call me a racist, I don't care but the country is going downhill too quickly. I definitely want to get Trudeau and the communism out of the politics in the country. My heart just lies with this party platform. I want Pierre to win but I will vote for this man and his party. I don't live in Canada, I left Canada 25 years ago and live in Asia. But I see and hear and feel how bad it has become. I hope that life in Canada can stabilize at least.

My story is similar to yours Alina, moved to Canada at 15 y.o., lived there for 20 yrs and now moved away. It's been hard, Canada has been the place I'd call home and thinking that I may never come back to live there is a little heart wrenching. Looking forward to learning what place you picked for yourself. From my experience, it will not be easy whatever place you pick. The social connections, daily life, it will all take a long time to set up. One thing that helps is keeping in touch with the most important people in your life - whereever they may be.

An international student visa from India toCanada is a one way ticket to Canada for life?
|
| 2024-09-07 | 0 |
This cowboy hat ? man should know that international students spennd 18000 Canadian dollars just on diploma to study in those diploma mills colleges. Man a lot of money just for study a year course where you will study nothing some of their parents spend whole life savings sell out their land properties thats straight 30 Indian lakhs one can buy a nice SUV a house here with that much of money. That's reason why they are protesting they can't go back back why government gave study visas on first place to them played scam with if I talk hatred and racism I don't think Canadians are hatred and racist every individual is vary different to different. Look I'm from India I've intentions to come in Canada I didn't study that much I just know English basic maths and science but that deserve better skill labour. So best of luck ?

Let them protest. They can stay in these camp for the rest of their life. Don't regularize these crooks if Canadians want to be safe. Fraudsters and hooligans are not welcome in Canada.

It’s not about mass immigration or asylum seeker the real issue is international students from India that’s what cause these issues. If you research immigration and asylum seeker the numbers are so low compare to Indian international students! Canada should prioritize those who life in danger due war or crisis first but since international students generate so much revenue they rather make things easier for them that’s why you see Indian international students….

USA and Canada की study से jobs मिल जाती है, India ki study sirf degrees है; बाहर की life बहुत ही productive है, India की life lazy है; हम USA में 47 years से हूँ, and we love it.

I was born in ?? and at your age Alina I left Vancouver and moved to Europe. I too saw no future and no way of having quality of life there. In the past 20 years I have watched ?? just fall apart and get worse and worse and it breaks my ❤️. One has to choose where life will be best for you and then give it your all. For me, by far, it was the best choice I ever made because the life I have now would never have been achievable, especially in Vancouver. People will tell you and you can tell yourself that you can just move back and visit all the time but in reality, that does not happen and you need to accept all the loss that leaving will bring. You will loose friend family and opportunity, people will pass friends will forget you and you them and Canada will become a memory in time. I hope for you that your move is worth it and you too find a better quality of life. Finally your video has helped reaffirmed choices that I made so long ago and I am great full for that. Best of luck I hope you do well. ❤️??

Why are there so many hatred towards Asians immigration suddenly in Canada, as in the US, Britain, Europe, Australia etc ?\nAfter all, these countries due to their lack of highly qualified professionals have to resort to immigration to keep up pace with the advances and modernisation to compete with the like of China and other Southeast developed countries. However, what we are finding is a Trump -like or Zionist lobbyists influencing vulnerable, gullible low intelligent and no good citizens to rebel and pick on Asian immigration as a cause of their own failure in life.

I was born & raised in Vancouver, BC and spent most of my life in Canada. But in 2014, I relocated to America and now enjoy the life of a Digital Nomad here. I would NEVER move back to Canada.\n\nYour video is interested but extremely biased due to your European upbringing.

I feel so bad for the immigrants who think they’re coming to Canada is going to give them a better life when they’re just gonna struggle so much more than they ever would in their own country. I’ve been to India I survived and lived in India such a better life than in Canada. The medical care in India is phenomenal, not like here for sure. The food is less expensive. You pay five dollars for your medical appointment and that includes the medicine and you in like 15 minutes.

Because Indians take over all the jobs in every where they move to canada like crazy and working with cheep salary they take $10 per hour what is that. Here in canada life is expensive please stay in your country.

India's GDP is twice that of Canada's, in 1.5 decades it will be 6-8x. Canada is a good place to have a enjoyable/comfortable life but the place where you can get rich is India. India will always have a massive market that keep growing at least in the short-medium term. There is going to be endless momey to be made in India.

Why do governments always see things 'in hindsight?' Regular everyday, working Americans and Canadians saw it YEARS AGO that this would happen. You can't let the floodgates open to anyone who wants to go to America, Canada, European Countries, without a PLAN in place to address it. There have to be limits, there has to be a PLAN!!!!! Now, those of us born here are suffering because of it too, not just the immigrants who are sold a bill of goods into believing they are moving to a better life. Change Immigration Laws NOW!!!!!! We pay taxes all our lives in our birth country and we are suffering because of politicians who do nothing but talk, talk, talk.

Not so acurate information. During the college time students can work only 20h/week. Unless it has changed. \n\nAlso, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get permanent residency before graduation because you need Canadian experience (full time) for at least 1 year in specialized areas. \n\nOnly if you successfully complete your program you get the full time work visa per 3y. In this time it’s going to be possible TO APPLY for permanent residence. \n\nBut not only that. Canadian experience give you extra points in the immigration program, but also a Bachelor’s degree, or a master degree, work experience in your back country, English level, and age. \n\nI don’t know for certain countries if the rules are different, but as long as I know, it’s the same for everybody. \n\nWhen I came as an international student, I had to prove the college was paid, also show I had enough money to support myself for 1y without work. Also, the program at college that costs $4000/semester for a Canadian student, it costs $8-10.000 for an international student. \n\nMy work visa (during college) allowed me 20h per week working only. \n\nTo get my study visa approved I had to show intermediate English, money, work experience, Bachelor’s degree (I have also a master’s), and explain why I wanted to study in Canada and why that program was related to my current career. \n\nTalking about jobs; I have worked as a housekeeper in a hospital (on weekends). After I graduated I became supervisor. \n\nSome people complain about students and immigrants getting the jobs, but what I’ve seen was a lot of people complaining EVERY DAY about their jobs, about their lives, etc…but doing absolutely nothing to change it.\n\nI got here as a student, I became immigrant, I worked as a cleaner, I graduated at college.after 2y working full time I got the permanent residence, and I was back to school. \nI got a Master’s degree at McMaster University, and now I am a manager in a big hospital. \nImmigrants taking the jobs??? I don’t believe so. I did to deserve it. \n\nSo, don’t put everybody on the same basket. There are bad people I know, but also there are people willing to grow and make the country grow as well. \n\nLast, but not least, I don’t think the COUNTRY has more people that they can handle. I think the big cities have. Government should look into that. Everybody wants to come to Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary. It’s a big problem. \n\nToday I’m a Canadian Citizen, I respect the laws, I respect people, I respect the life in society, and I do not look to impose my culture in here, I’m proud to live here and I want this country to grow even more.

EDIT: UPDATE. And then there is this....\n\nRamanpreet Singh, a 25-year-old man from Brampton is charged with:
\n
\nPossession of Property Obtained by Crime (3 counts)
\nFlight from Peace Officer
\nDangerous Operation (Of a motor vehicle)\n(This is lenient. The charge should rightfully be Reckless Endangerment of a Police Officer)
\nObstruct Peace Officer (In an arrest) \nPotentially damaging a Canadian Landmark and/or Treasure (Tim Hortons) - I added this. Life sentence.\n\n\nBut you guys are nothing if not entertaining so enjoy for yourselves: \n\nhttps://youtu.be/NgrutzeSuI0?si=DaW5iBWweG3SsawX\n\nStill not embarrased? Haven't whet your appetite for whole-heartedly becoming Canadians?\n\nBut wait, there's more....\n\n\nOriginal post:\n\nFirst, well done. That must have been hard. Now, you are beginning to see. What you are doing is necessary.\n\nTruth is often harsh. Yes the Canadian government were ill prepared for the ramifications of their decisions. But they do not owe you anything. You have also neglected to mention small details. Details which I presume, must seem normal to you from life in India: \n\nDetails like, as a peaceful nation that embraced multiculturalism, Canada has never in recent memory had an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) shatter the peace of how we choose to live. The events in Mississauga's Bombay Bhel restaurant in 2018. That is UNACCEPTABLE. Assimilate to our culture and peaceful norms or get out. \n\nDetails like, being a nation that pays heavy taxes we value transparency in our political leaders. So no matter how we feel about our Prime Minister, when Justin Trudeau calls out the Indian government in assissination of one of their own people on sovereign Canadian soil, we tend to believe him. That is UNACCEPTABLE. Stand up, grow a spine, accept and be accountable or get out.\n\nDetails like, protesting the reduction in international student quotas and demanding extensions of the PGWP post graduate work permits. Protesting government decisions is the right of Canadians only. As visitors you simply do not have the right. That is UNACCEPTABLE. Comply or get out.\n\nDetails like, public display of fighting in the streets. Gatherings in large numbers at private homes and venues. Further defecaton at gas stations. The carrying of swords (not ceremonial kirpans or daggers - less than 12 inches long) to these protests. That is UNACCEPTABLE. Do it and we will put you out.\n\nDetails like, illegally crossing into the United States. Our long-time allies and friends to the South. Crossing in such large numbers as to exceed migration levels at their Southern border from Mexico. Making our political counterparts in the United States doubt our ability to govern our own country and mitigate threats from terrorists. This too, is UNACCEPTABLE. \n\nThese hostile, desperate and oppurtunistic ways are not how we choose to live in Canada. We are hard working and given an honest job, which some of you now occupy, do an honest days work. We have a long history of peace but also a reputation for upholding it. Tread lightly and learn if you value this country as your home.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world.\n\nThere are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions, welfare, unemployment benefits, disability benefits and the numerous other programs, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.\n\nMulticulturalism destroys the fabric and identity of a country. Socialism bankrupts a country.

Maybe theres some Canadians who hate Indians, but Canadians as a whole do not hate Indians. \n\nI'm a 3rd generation Canadian. Our mother tongue is almost never used at this point. We speak English, we took on the Canadian way of life and culture. Canada doesnt look the same anymore. I'm told White people are the vast majority here, yet I don't see that many White skinned folks like I used to. In fact, almost every store, fastfood restaurant, facilities, my own work place, White skinned folks are by far the minority in these environments.

thank you for this balanced video. Im a 34 yr old Canadian and share the exact same view as you about this country. \nMy husband, myself and our tow kids moved to Mexico a few years ago, as well as a few friends of ours, and leaving Canada was like getting out of a toxic relationship lol Once you're out of the 'bubble' that Canada has created for it's citizens you see just how sour it has become. \nThat being said, we did move back to Canada to buy some land far north Alberta-only because we have small kids and want them to be around family-but if it was just my husband and myself we DEFINITELY would have stayed in Mexico. \nMexico feels safer, its beautiful there all over the country, the people have wonderful community and live life fully, the culture is enthralling, the food is BETTER in every way, the language (Spanish) is a fun element to life, and best of all-in Mexico, you are out of the censorship and the 'fear bubble' in Canada. You see it all over headlines, you hear it on the radio, it comes out of everyone's mouths in Canada-obsessed with 'safety' and everyone is terrified of living. Now that we're back we're very aware of it and do our best to ignore it and block it out. \n\nMoving abroad is a lot of work, but I would do it again in a heartbeat and recommend it. If you are able to, just do it.

Canada took in too many. It’s cost us too much money and too many jobs and made life here worse. Time for the government to admit it didn’t work and change course.\n\nThere should be a major political party campaigning on large scale deportations
|
| 2024-09-04 | 0 |
I am a 4th generation Canadian (european decent).\nMy ancestors came here and didn't try to change it into a colony of where they came from, they adapted to the Canadian culture that was apparant at the time.\nThey blended in quite quickly while maintaining there home country culture at home or at community centers.\nI have welcomed immigration my entire life and still do. I have many friends who are 3rd generation Indians who speak the language and know the culture just as i do.\nThey do not try to turn Canada into india, and in turn they are accepted and respected by all.\nThe young indian students coming to Canada have been exploited in india by promoting a back door into PR status through the international student program and in Canada by employers who take advantage of their fear of deportation.\nThe blame lies on the recruiting in India, the post seconday system in Canada, the employers like Tim Hortons, uber, skip the dishes and door dash who put profits over living standards.\n The majority of the blame goes to the govt of Canada for turning a blind eye to something that everyone saw but didnt talk about for fear of being labeled a racist.\nReturn immigration to 500,000 per year including refugees, students seeking to stay and all other groups and you will see all will go back to how it was 10 years ago.\nPeace and love.

So you dont recommend to move to Canada from central Europe? I been to Canada, Ottawa, for business trip recently and I loved how everything looked nice clean polished. And nature was unbelievable. But I couldn't not notice that I was almost only white person in Walmart, it was brand new experience for me :-D We don't have that in Czech Republic... Seemed as every low income job is done by immigrants. Never seen that in my life :)

the problem is jam packing people into cities. Im from USA i dont know enough about canada but in the USA a city isnt the only place to build a life. For example japan has most of their population in cities seems a bit odd that all these immigrants are heading into cities where cost is añready high.

The last few years have also shed a bright light on India's reputation with scam-calling centers etc., too. As it happens more and more in Canada now, with Indians being arrested for it. Yet the Canadians, who had $ stolen from them, still remain poorer after the arrests.
\nAnd due to some recent (but many) Indian business/home owners in Canada, and the recent fraudster agents in India ... both utilizing secret cash pocketing shenannigans ... Canadians now are often viewing Indian men (and I stress the word men) as untrustworthy and $ greedy. \n
\nSome Indian students have strong ties to Canadians, not most. I bet the protesters with their signs accusing Canadians as being racist don't have such ties, because if they did they would know its horrible to call one of the most tolerant societies in the world racist. \n
\nWhy does Canada have to own missteps and make inspiring changes while India doesn't? Diplomatic relations, but only at Canada's expense? \n
\nIf Canada keeps the students will they proceed forward honestly? Or will Canada be letting in a wave of demanders and scammers? You tell me? Heck even Indians who immigrated to Canada decades ago don't trust many Indian newcomers. Why?\n
\nDoes giving current Indian students PR (because they were 'victims' via India) help Canada solve Canadian problems (that exist because of the student PR mess)??\n
\nI know Canada made some mistakes. And I know some Canadians turned greedy too. But you tell me why, after 50+ years of Canadians loving multiculturalism and immigration and acceptance of so many from all around the planet (and after a world pandemic) Canadians are primarily (by a wide margin) upset at Indians. Why not the other mass migrators lookin for a better life too? \nYou tell me. \n\nFyi, I write all this as someone who in the past helped Indians migrate to Canada.

Improving Canada's Immigration System: A Clear and Practical Approach\n\nCanada has always been a welcoming country for immigrants, but recent trends have highlighted the need for a more careful and balanced approach. \n\nBelow are key suggestions to improve the immigration system and ensure it benefits the country and its residents:\n\n1.Strengthening Immigration Rules\nCanada should adopt stricter immigration rules to ensure that only those who meet certain standards are allowed to enter. This includes thorough background checks and making sure immigrants have the skills and education needed to contribute positively.\n\n2.Pausing Immigration to Address Issues\nTemporarily slowing down or pausing immigration could help the government address current challenges. This pause would allow for a review and improvement of policies to ensure future immigration is better managed.\n\n3.Making the System More Selective\nThe immigration process should be more selective, ensuring that only those who are truly qualified and capable of contributing to Canadian society are accepted. This could include tougher language tests and more rigorous checks on educational and professional qualifications.\n\n4.Focusing on Skilled and Intellectual Talent\nWhile labor is important, Canada should also focus on attracting immigrants with advanced skills, education, and innovation potential. These individuals can help drive the economy and bring new ideas to the country.\n\n5.Balancing the Focus Beyond Labor\nCanada should not only focus on bringing in laborers but also aim to attract people with diverse skills, including those in technology, healthcare, and other specialized fields. This balance can help strengthen the economy and reduce dependency on low-wage jobs.\n\n\n6.Enforcing Laws with Immediate Consequences\nIt's important that all immigrants follow Canadian laws. Those who break the law should face immediate consequences, including possible deportation. This approach will help maintain order and ensure that everyone respects the country’s rules.\n\n*€—Promoting Responsibility Among Immigrants\nImmigrants should be aware that they are expected to contribute positively and act responsibly while in Canada. Strict enforcement of rules will encourage responsible behavior.\n\n\n7.Prioritizing Canadians for Jobs\nWhile immigration is necessary, Canadians should have the first opportunity for available jobs. The government should focus on training and supporting its own citizens to fill roles before turning to immigrant labor.\n\n\n8.Regulating Educational Institutions\nEducational institutions should not be allowed to exploit immigrants by making false promises about opportunities in Canada. The government must regulate these institutions to ensure they provide real value and not just profit from vulnerable individuals.\n\n\n9.Reevaluating the Cost and Value of Education\nThe cost of education in Canada should reflect its true value. Immigrants should not be misled into paying high fees for education that does not lead to meaningful job opportunities. The government should ensure that education aligns with market demands.\n\n\n10.Reforming the Healthcare System\nCanada’s healthcare system needs improvement to provide timely and effective care for all residents. This is especially important as the population grows due to immigration.\n\n\n11. Reviewing and Improving Immigration Policies\nCanada needs to review and improve its immigration policies to address current challenges and ensure that immigration continues to benefit the country. This involves making thoughtful reforms to support both immigrants and the existing population.\nBy focusing on these practical steps, Canada can continue to be a thriving nation that balances growth with maintaining a high quality of life for all its residents.

Govt should takem extremely strict measures to rackle this, either US or Canada if fpund people crossing borders, they should be put in jail for life, these people are degrading name of Indian people. Currently in the US Indian Americans are known for their intelligence and high IQ, but things like this put tje community name in mud, the laws for this kind of activity should be, jailed without parole, then people will atip doing shit.

I live in Canada, all these problems are true and also health care system is not that good and high taxes…..However, life feels secured as food, environment and roads quality is AAA grade. You can actually achieve dreams as jobs pay good, even though you can to spend in dollars but remember macbook will cost 1.25 lakh and $2000 in Canada but there is huge difference in income, same goes for cars which translates that normal middle class family can have cars like Mercedes, audi and BMW which is not achievable in India. It’s safe country you can have whatever opinions you want, women can dress whatever they want and go out anytime without being worried. By considering all those things i decided to surrender my indian passport and got Canadian one.

I would say, we Canadians are simply mad about the illegal immigration and the non vetted and and somewhat entitled immigrants that destroy our way of life. I live in Surrey, which is predominantly Indian, and we don't suffer these issues as we don't have a lot of the illegals coming here that is noticeable at least. I think Ottawa and Toronto is seeing most of these negative issues because of the large amount of new illegals coming there and not having access to homes and our comforts we take for granted here in Canada. I also think it is frustrating to have leaders that pander to these illegals for their votes. So in all I think Canadians, Indians included, are feeling frustrated and angry about the lack of leadership and structure in the immigration system to educated and enforce some basic standards of our beautiful country. I appreciate this video, but please know the majority of Canadians do not blame the whole community for the poop on the beach stuff. I would also appreciate if the black community would take the same approach to addressing their community regarding the entitlement of some of the black community and how rude and criminal they are in large groups.

Western Christian immigrants are not an issue. It’s the ones who have no culture similarities and want to change Canada to their non western culture. \nStop appeasing to these cultural changes, stop the financial assistance, hold the scammers accountable, anyone who fraudulently came here and had kids revoke and deport, and we would not have the large influx we are seeing. Our lives will be peaceful and we would be able to maintain our quality of life.
