I asked if they knew there were armed officers with carbines and riot gear at the protest? They said its not worth reporting on.... just poor journalism thank you to the SUN for being impartial and providing us with the news

Jobs, housing,health,loans education, goes to people who never put money or effort in this country. Most of them see Canada as the sidechick. I moved to Canada as a child with my parents 41 years ago. It isn't just inflation and cost of living that is the problem. It's the dramatically increasing racism and discrimination, even against people who have been living in this country longer than the racists discriminating against them. Seriously? This is not the Canada that I came to as a child, grew up in, or have lived and worked in for many decades. I made the mistake of working around the world for a short time and picking up an accent that wasn't even mine originally. I had a Canadian accent before finishing elementary school. To come back to be asked to go home or 'we don't want your sort here' is not just simple racism, but hatred that makes me regret ever having agreed to taking on Canadian citizenship. My kids and grandchildren have Canadian accents and were Canadians from birth. But should they leave and return to the same crap??? What disgusts me more is that the PM dares to include immigrants with refugees, under the banner that 30% of the population are immigrants. Under the law, refugees are temporary migrants and usually nothing more. To bundle immigrants who came to Canada through legal means of applications, brought hundreds of millions dollars into Canada with them of their own hard-earned money from their own countries, to have it taxed out of them, and their families deliberately put into poverty so Canada can fulfil its 19th century-PM Macdonald immigration policy of, and I quote from a Canadian federal government website, quoting PM Macdonald directly, about breeding out the Indigeneous people, is beyond sick! The refugees get a free ride at the expense of hard-working Canadians, 90% of whom came from immigrant stock! What happens when Trudeau says these deceitful lies about legal immigrants is that the racism and discrimination increases dramatically. I have been left in agony in hospital due to evil racist Canadians who thought that my accent meant that I had just flown in yesterday and what right did I have to be there? Police refused to charge a neighbor whose son was threatening the life of my grandchild because the neighbor works for the CRA! Other people have the same complaints. Democracy? What democracy, oh, and please spare us Mr. Trudeau the claim to be a constitutional monarchy, when most don't want the monarchy as a head of state for Canada! I have been honored to have known, still know, and will know in the future, many good, hard-working, caring and decent Canadians, but Mr. Trudeau, can you explain to me, how many of those were actually of immigrant stock and how many have forgotten where their families came from? Canada used to be a good country, but when a person has to keep explaining where they got their job experience from and if they have any Canadian experience for every time that they look for a job in their lifetime in Canada, something is very wrong with Canada. Most jobs in Canada are blue collar and very few are white collar, yet Canada still continues to deceive the world into believing otherwise. Canada is a great vast and beautiful land, but only a small percentage of it has any infrastructure, roads, or homes sufficient to house what is a decreasing fraction of society. Refugees take preference over immigrants and citizens alike. The lie about the homeless is getting bigger. Most homeless Canadians today are veterans, elderly, disabled, mentally ill, poor, and professionals and trades people, yet Canada brings in countless professionals, claiming that their education and experience will get them into the professions that they are coming from. It's all a scam! Canadian education is not the best and yet people with better educations and job experience are being forced to spend all their money to go back to university or college to get jobs that they rarely will be hired for. Canada is not short of doctors, just short of professionals who hire professionals without using discrimination, hatred and racism for their HR kit! Many taxi drivers are doctors, engineers, and so on. So, please stop lying to the world and tell the truth. And no doubt this entry will be taken down because it offends a Canadian who doesn't want the world to know the truth.

I think this video generalize too much. It’s like this guy asked 3 person what they think about a whole country and made a video about it. I’m Canadian, I just bought a house for 100k. I graduated from college with 0$ student debts. I had back problems that are now gone and paid 0$ for it, and i absolutely never waited more than 2 hours at the hospital. I’m living in a peaceful community between mountains and the ocean. I totally love living in Canada and i legitimately cannot comprehend the hate about it. I worked in a lot of different Canadians cities with different communities and everyone has good things to say about our country. I travel a lot and when I see how life is elsewhere, I’m always glad to be back home.

I do not see a problem having international students. They shall have their own money for tuition, accommodation and food. Our taxes shall not subsidize foreign students. Also as soon they have finished their schools they shall go back to their countries. And if they want to immigrate they shall stay in general line for all applicants. This lack of access to health care is a new thing. I agree with your assessment. It now seems lonelier in Toronto. \n\nCanada used to be different because anyone with a good job could afford at least a condo, but life became unaffordable not just for immigrants, but for everyone unless you are in your 50s-60s and own a home. \n\nI have friends working double jobs supporting family back home in other countries, but for some of them the family back home sound like they are doing better than them and own a home. It’s like they are sacrificing their life to be in poverty or full of hardships and their families get to go out for dinners and drinks with friends. Not them. Not true for everyone, but for some yes and I worry about their own retirement because retirement in Canada without lots of savings means you might be homeless or forced to live with family even if it’s not your preference. \n\n without investments and savings, it will be hard to beat inflation. Getting into debt and getting bad credit can mean not getting an apartment. \n\nThe birth rate is going down because it is expensive to have kids and income isn’t enough to match with living costs. But with new migrants sometimes it isn’t until the second generation that their social circles get diverse. This can be isolating and it’s even isolating as those from Toronto eventually leave dreaming of staying in one spot and not forced to move constantly when a landlord investor sells every house you move into. \n\n\nToronto really needs to protect affordability of housing for at least some housing in every section so that people can save money if they live in the city, and not have to leave their communities and be far from their friends and family. \n\notherwise eventually people get sick of the hustle and it’s too tiring to travel 1+ hrs each way to visit someone during Monday to Friday. \n\n20 years ago any professional could at least buy a condo. Not today. There is too much competition now and investors are allowed to buy up all the most affordable housing that once was a pathway to owning a home. \n\nRich policy makers got greedy and destroyed canada and hopefully diversity in leadership will help make Canada better. But they perhaps people knew to Canada can reject this lonely structure and help us rebuild Toronto into an amazing place. \n\nWe need to make sure everyone can afford housing with 30% of their income. Canada is a joke now, trying so hard to be a 51st state. We've got all the crime and all the tent cities to compete with the very greatest American cities. Our tiny little towns now have homeless folks and I fear the day I become homeless.\n\nWe've lost our honour. We've sold out to corporations. We're intentionally pushing people out of their homes so the rich may get richer. And our Cuban PM, Justin Castro, is alright with it. He's also happy providing immigrants with subsidized housing while born-and-bred Canadians suffer. Heck, 'everyday young people' in their 20s can't even envision owning a home unless they come from a wealthy family or their parents die and leave the family home to them. They're better off buying an RV but even those cost what a house SHOULD cost.\n\nThis is not the Canada I was born in. It's a total effing disaster. The only saving grace for me is that I brought no children into this mess and I really hope to be dead before Xmas if I don't find a job. Being as I'm a coward and my doctor won't euthanize me (I asked), I figure a hunger strike is the was to go unless I can find a high enough cliff. Certain nationality employers inside the dreamworld Canada are asking 30k to 40k per LMIA, cutting deals with lawyers, agent overseas, getting temporary foreign workers whereas inside job seekers are constantly fail to get a call for at least an interview. This is shameful for the government completely fails to tackle this practice. Whereas there are Canadian educated and \nwork experienced PR, open work permit holders, who spend thousands to get a degree are clowns walking with resumes with tongue hanging out.

Country were you pay tons of taxes, but you don’t get good medical care, they make you wait and don’t have enough medical staff to help people.\n\nYou get underpaid, the salaries don’t keep up with cost of living.\n\nA country where you don’t elect your prime minister. Until 2020 (pandemic), most lifelong Canadians would have proudly & quickly said Canada is a great place. For multiple generations (young & old). It still is in many ways. But like all countries, a bunch of things have made life more difficult lately. \n \nDuring the COVID lockdowns, many people went wild wanting to buy a house (urban & rural). Increasing demand and rising prices. Not long after, inflation caused mortgage rates especially to rise. Rent costs soared too. People interested in working in hospitals declined. Less doctors etc.. \n \nSimultaneously in Canada, the number of people coming by air, land and boat to claim asylum skyrocketed. For example, in 2023 alone, in just one region (Central Canada) around 400 people arrived per day (on average). Ditto for other populated provinces. Also the number of international students SKYROCKETED too. In 2023, averaging around 2,000 per day across Canada. Years 2021 and 2022 had high #s too. \n \nThe majority trying to migrate to Canada recently have been from South Asia. And it's become extremely obvious to Canadians. Even those that are very used to much diversity & many cultures. Plus neighborhoods now know that international students are using schooling as a 'back door' ticket to come to Canada for permanent residency. No one says it in public amongst strangers, but everyone knows because they've witnessed the extreme PR frenzy firsthand by now. To many Canadians it has felt like a tidal wave that has reached all cities and small towns, with a post secondary school. This extreme situation never existed prior to 4 years ago.\n \nHospitals have been hit with many wanting free healthcare. Less doctors/nurses etc., means greater waiting times. Plus a VERY SEVERE HOUSING CRISIS has occurred in many western countries including in Canada. In ways not seen in people's lifetimes. And if you do find a place to live its quite expensive. Including small basement rooms. \n \nNow westerners want the money greedy agents (pseudo smugglers) in other countries to stop marketing & LYING to their own people about access to PR or citizenship … or accommodation/jobs … being easy (to get). And for any greedy people living in western countries to be ashamed of themselves if they're hurting students. Anyone doing things to make $ off of people's PR desires. At best, there is a 25% chance of gaining PR (better odds if you are masters/medicine etc.). \n \nNot all players across the board have acted honestly over the years, i.e. contract marriages (IELTS spouse), anchor babies, fraud, false asylum claims. Canada has asked the India government to prevent “ghost consulting”. The new PRIVATE (non-public) colleges are being investigated (including looking for strong oversea ties). \n \nCanadians are meeting students who told Canada they have enough $, but it turns out they borrowed it (some borrowed it for the application process only). Canadian food banks and other CHARITY services have been recklessly advertised on YouTube (by India students in Indian language). Many transit services have launched stricter rules, i.e. lost monthly bus passes registered in your name are now never replaced (unlike before). \n \nThen this year throw in all the Palestinian vs Israeli angry protests happening regularly in cities. Plus the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortion mostly happening in Ontario and British Columbia. Plus the Canadian government also recently launched investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections. All stemming from Asia continent. Hate crimes have gone from rare to occasional (primarily South Asians against South Asians). \n \nCanadians are so so so so so not used to all this. So many, who have embraced multi-culturalism and immigration for decades are now VERY worried and fearful (due to all of the above). And all are praying it doesn't turn into great anger (like in the USA). \n \nCanadians want multi-culturism to succeed … and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Everyone I know is VERY happy with Canada Immigration's recent changes (reductions & investigations). Including multi-generational long-term Asian-Canadians where many have been the most upset (by all of this).

I truly believe this all revolves around the housing crisis. Not enough housing can be built. Canadians with options are not taking low-income jobs. It's not a survivable wage anymore. Canada's #1 GDP is Real Estate. Potential first-time home buyers are not willing to throw themselves into a lifetime debt for a weak economy. \n\nSo what does Canada do? Fill these vacancies with immigrants. Not inherently wrong, but it's a band-aid solution to temporarily pump up the numbers. \n\nImmigrants, specifically refugees are taking low-income jobs. Speak Arabic? You can easily fill your job positions for minimum wage. Just like mafia tactics in third-world countries, the government takes their passports away and they must fulfill their duties at a very low wage and very high cost of living under threat of being thrown back into a potentially war-torn country. Came to Canada as a Dentist? Doesn't matter, you need to climb the ladder again and in the meantime work as a Receptionist making minimum wage.\n\nImmigrants with money are obligated to prove themselves. Buy housing, start a business. Numerous cities such as Brampton are being filled with slums. Housing a double digit of residents in the basement at absurd costs so the landlords can afford their ridiculous mortgages and lifestyle off the back of other immigrants/refugees.\n\nThe main issue is the hate directed towards immigrants. First of all, in the video it was disgusting for the man to acknowledge that someone was wearing good clothes and asking where the refugee center is. Someone can be a refugee and still have money. That's the ideal refugee. Someone with money in a war-torn country such as Sudan are high targets and completely deserve to run away to a safe country like Canada - especially if they can afford to spend money and stimulate the economy.\n\nStop attacking the people. This is a housing crisis issue that has been so poorly managed that these deeply rooted symptoms are beginning to show.

Left Canada when I was 16 and never wish to return. About the media Canada's media and American media has been owned and corrupt by most of the same people. Canada cannot make its own money. So what does it do? It has to figure out unethical ways to bring in money. This is done by bringing in immigrants. There is multiple birds with one Stone hit here. Meaning gives immigrants the lie of a better life. So they take all their money that they have in their nation. And they bring it here. That's free money that Canada did not have to work for and now other nations have lost. then they lied to them and tell them that they can get anything they want. For me to get a franchise here while owning other businesses was IMPOSSIBLE 5 yrs ago. But these guys with no credentials are getting it right away. I wasn't allowed to modify my house or rent by law. And they are now allowing all of that. My mother had an international driver's license from France and she had to go through hoops to get her licence here. They are handing things over with no screening to these people which is cause instability and chaos. No structure. They let them bring their huge money here and put into franchises with no credentials. Bank loans free approval no questions asked. Meanwhile, most of those franchises will never make any money. Then they will take that money also, and put it into homes. Rent etc, and this is the part where they basically drain the immigrant money in an instant and put it into Canada economy. Now that you have all these immigrants buying all these businesses. Now you need slave work, so you start Bringing it more immigrants to work those slave jobs. Because in the 1990s, all the way up to 2010. You were encouraging Education. During that time Education was the money Maker. So you kept pushing that. Billions went to universities. Telling people that they'll have a better future. That was the lie of that time. Now you want the same people to work min wage jobs. Now immigration is a bigger Money maker. They say they're bringing in these guys Because they want to work these jobs that a canadians don't want to work. That's because you just made those fake jobs by creating more immigrants to come here have franchises that need minimum wage jobs. But you also promised the rest of us that if we worked hard enough, we will get better jobs. So why would we want to resort to minimum wage jobs on top of you ruining the market for housing inflation taxes etc? How could we even afford while working Minimum wage jobs. And that's why they're bringing people in here. This goes deeper than it seems. socialism. then they get mad At us and demand more taxes and more money. But Canada is a closed system. So how can we afford giving you more than we're making? This insanity has to stop. This chaos needs to stop.

whatever you are saying that is correct but it is only one side bro, go and just ask international students what they have been promised here in Canada and how they are living here. Even most of the engineers, doctors and other professionals with foreign experience ended up doing general labor or uber driver jobs and even on the basis of their education and work experience they got permanent residency. No one likes to work on these hard jobs but they don't have any other option as most of skilled worker jobs either need their respective field license or Canadian experience. how much fees international student paying, what kind of job they are doing here, living far from family, managing studies and job, how much debt they took to study here and much more sacrifices doing here. Do not say then why came here because applied through legal process and full filled all the necessary criteria. Was it our fault that we dreamed about study and work here in Canada?. I know it is hard for you and your families that they are not getting jobs but don't hate international students. you can only understand anyone if you put yourself in their shoes.

Even the immigrants who are here in Canada are asking for mass immigration to stop and only take quality immigrants who will add value to this country.

I am an international student, just wanted to ask Canadian people, why target international students, i am from India, i can guarantee that any Indian student coming to Canada brings at least 100k investment that directly gets used by the Canadian economy. My problem is why target us rather you guys should look for people who are coming to this country like refuse and use candian tax payer money and get all the benefits Canada offers, but us on the other hand we pay taxes like normal citizen. Go out and learn what CANADA is before making these videos.\nFirst you should know that Canadian Companies don't hire anyone for a high skilled job. Even if you are an amazing engineer with 20yrs of experience. They want even skilled people to get canadian experience by working entry level jobs.\nAnd you are crying about how immigrants are applying for entry level jobs. First you should ask your companies and government why it is wasting the talent of people they brought by asking them to do entry level jobs.

As an immigrant myself, but Canadian citizen. This mass migration that Trudeau has embarked on is part of their globalization agenda. The influx of low/non skilled people, that do not carry the same traditional Canadian values, is specifically designed to dilute the existing Canadian culture, and weaken the middle class, only to replace it with the elites globalist control. In the long run, not bringing in skilled workers that can positively impact and grow the economy will be very detrimental in the long run. Also, in speaking with many of these immigrants their allegiances and not with Canada, if you ask them if the are willing to join the armed forces to defend Canada, they say no. Hence, Canada is also importing ideologies that don't intend to integrate into our society. If you want to come to Canada, integrate or leave! There are also enough skilled and non-skilled workers, that are ready and able to work, it is visible - everywhere you go there are more and more homeless and out of work people.

I have hard about two interviews from Canada after applying for LMIA job and at the end they will tell me that they like my experience but they needed someone already in Canada and the last interview i hard last year was seriously asking me if i have already gotten my visa approval to come to Canada and i said no, which i ask them to accept me and give me any necessary documents that i can used to apply for my visa and they said no. That has been my challenge so far and am tired of applying for a job outside Canada ?

Canada by itself is very WELCOMING, the problem is that you dive into the trap, there only ONE way to do this right, GIVE TO ALL IMMIGRANTS TIME BUFFER, like 1-2 year, don't destroy them from the start, it`s like I call friends to my home, I will say hey please feel free like in your house, but then ill throw them dirt to a face and ask them hey please be clean in my house go find place where to wash up and don't use my towel. Time that migrants spend to find JOB and HOME are exceed TIME they can afford living, it means LOW CREDIT SCORE, DEBT Problems, bad mood, anxiety, no hope, and boom you have more homeless guys. Politics should be supporting migrants very well not just throwing them to the streets, put some regulatory, cut some paperwork for applying a job, make RULE that every IMMIGRANT should go to government job like cleaning streets or IDK make it MUST, so there will be no situation where they don't have jobs. If you just show up in Canada as an illegal immigrant or refugee, your application will be free and fast tracked. You will also receive financial support from the government.
