I totally agree with you.. we came here to adopt the beautiful Canadian culture and not end up with the same things back home. One of the major reason why some of us prefer staying in other small towns of Canada rather than Surrey or Brampton. Immigration policies need to be updated. There’s nothing wrong with staying connected with your roots, but all of us immigrants need to adapt to new culture ?

My girlfriend has been living in canada illegal for the las 15 yrs. She was deported 10 yrs ago for working with someone else's S.I. N. after immigration was called. Immigration told my company that the only way she was able to stay at my company if they were able to pay her cash. 17 yrs later and she works for the same company for cash. Tax free. I go with her, and others to bodegas in Toronto where they cash all cheques in the back room at the end of the bodegas. No questions asked. The reason Immigration was called was because the S.I.N she was caught with had $10.000 thousand unpaid taxes over the years. And the person that let her use her card for $300 each month needed the card to go on welfare. No one had to pay the taxes. My company today is 90% illegal workers. All in hotels all over Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga you name it.

If you speak English as a second language with a heavy foreign accent, you may not have Canada's best interests at heart. And those that do should rightly be threatened that they'll never get a job due to the never ending flood of low skilled, low education immigrants.

And it is a scam. It’s not good for either side when they have to pay those insane taxes.. and the. They see new student come.. take their jobs, wages go down, taxes go up they will start to comp,sin .. and that’s when people realize this is a prog]blem. \n\nNow is not a good time to come wait for Canada to fix itself. It's not migration, what theyre doing is colonization.\n\nThese newcomers refuse to assimilate and adopt the culture of Canada. They insist on continuing with their old ways, even fighting Canadian laws. I remember a family who ended the life of their own daughter because they believed their culture and belief allowed it over the laws of Canada.\n\nEnough is enough.

As a Canadian citizen, I see that there are 3 major issues at play in this problem - \n\n1) Canadian colleges are starved off funds and do not have a sufficient, stable source of revenue. Hence they seek to attract international students who pay (at least) 4X the fee a Canadian citizen would pay. According to mainstream media such as The Globe and Mail, National Post and others, International students contribute some where between $15 to $18 billion per year in revenue to Canada. This is huge!\n\nSince this is a lucrative revenue stream for them, they have gone overboard and are providing strong financial incentives to education / immigration consultants to bring more international students here. Consequently, many existing as well as new colleges are encashing on this trend and diploma mills have mushroomed in Canada lately. This is ABSOLUTELY Canada’s fault and the accountability of fixing this lies with Canada alone.\n\n2. International students who come here often end up taking humongous debt or selling off their homes/ancestral property to be able to afford their education and hence they feel cheated when the dream they were sold doesn’t match the reality. \n\nHaving said that, International students do need to understand that they are here or a temporary visa and DO NOT get to dictate terms to Canada. It is Canada’s sole prerogative to extend their work visa or not, depending upon Canadians requirements.\n\n3. The Trudeau Liberal government benefits by giving these students extended work permits and a pathway to citizenship as it translates into votes for them. However this is an atrocious approach to winning elections and puts unnecessary pressure on the system. \n\nCanada needs to streamline this whole student visa process and take stringent action against these fake diploma mills, education and immigration consultants luring foreign students. It damages Canada’s reputation.\n\nLastly, extend the work permits of only those students that meet Canada’s labour standards and requirements and send everyone else back home.

Listen I don’t mind if THEY FINISH their education. The issue is people come to Canada and DROP out after a semester or two and do not finish their education voiding their visa and contract however we allow them to stay. \n That is the real issue if you aren’t helping the economy your a burden on the economy. Why are we so soft? We are setting Canadians and immigrants up for failure creating a HOT mess. They come here for a better life..can’t even buy a home. Sorry, but I didn't know 'so many people' were leaving Canada. In fact, my European friends living in Canada, LOVE Canada. Their number one reason? The government is for the people. Their numerous benefits, programs and services (employment Insurance, child benefit, pensions, benefits for housing, student aid, family benefits, grants and funding opportunities, disabilities and their recently implemented dental care plan), says it all. Sure the cost of living is high, but where isn’t? Especially after covid and especially if you want a decent quality of life. Their car insurance and phone plans are also expensive but they're getting better. Stay out of the big cities if you can't afford it. There are other parts of Canada that is affordable. \n\nBtw, the healthcare industry, particularly the long-term care sector is a good place to earn a decent living. They are always looking for RNs, PSWs etc. \n\nIn the end, the positives outweigh the negatives. Besides having free healthcare and the many generous social services and benefits, Canada is also a progressive country with strong social policies, including gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights and environmental sustainability, (we’re drinking out of those gross cardboard straws now. Hello?). Then there is our natural and breathtaking landscapes, our four seasons, our excellent education system, diverse communities, friendly people, our cool festivals (The Calgary Stampede, Montreal International Jazz Festival, Caribana, Toronto International Film Festival, Just for Laughs Montreal, Pride Toronto are a few that come to mind), our great air and water quality, strict gun laws, legal cannabis… I could go on and on.\n\nIf you're able to afford living in Canada, consider yourself fortunate.

All those international students will end up staying in Canada and obtain citizenship just to get welfare, while the average Canadian will get more taxed. Thanks to Justin and its liberal goverment those Indians won't have to work a single day.

US caps Green cards based on where you were born. For Canada, China and India remain the two big contributors. NZ, Australia and Canada fall in the same category. Not much going on economy wise so trying to grow population to gain more GDP and taxation. Also, helps run the Ponzi schemes like housing where prices keep on multiplying every decade. This is plain and simple. There are not enough places for rent. For both Canadians and a never ending population growth from outside canada that outpaces building. \nIn three months they cannot and will never be enough places built for rent to justify bringing over 430 000 people.\nSo based on that alone those newcomers will be taking a place for rent away from a Canadian citizen. It's not racism, it's not discrimination. It's fact.\nCanadian citizens or any citizen of any country should not have to struggle to find a place to live and be able to afford a place to live because the governemt increases the population from outside faster than they can build. It's irresponsible, selfish, and outright wrong.\nIts not the politicians who are suffering or the businesses who will never make enough profit(look at the grocery sector.) it is the people within Canada.\nI am not against immigration. I am against the amount until infrastructure can keep up with the influx of new people. And even then it cannot be a one for one. It should be at least 2 to 1 and new growth. The eye infection hits home. I'm in Canada. I had an eye infection and couldn't see a doctor. Ended up having to go to a pharmacist to get over-the-counter polysporin anti-biotic eye drops. My daughter then got it much worse and couldnt' get in to see any doctors at all. Had to go to an eyeglass store that had an optometrist on site who was able to write her a prescription eye drops.

A sad end for this gentleman who was trying to make a new home for himself in Canada> Yet, he is not the only guilty of bad driving: just travel the QE 2 from Crossfield to Calgary or Okotoks to Calgary, hmmm, don't think we'll see too many complaints there... Canadian authorities offer nothing but lies and misinformation when it comes to relocating to Canada, they offer all kinds of wonderous programs and relocation assistance to leave you high and dry with nothing - Canada is becoming an economic wasteland which offers no prospects and no future. Housing and rental markets are a joke. Health care system is a joke...... I spent 7 years waiting to sign on with a family GP. The employment markets is a total joke with wages being stagnant for around 10 years. As an immigrant your home country qualifications won't be recognized by Canadian employers and used as another excuse to offer you a pathetically low wage. Great video. Recently im researching canada and new zealand as my adventure in australia come to end. And a lot of the points you mentioned are better in canada than in Australia. Education, team work attitude, living. Im surprised but also encouraged more towards canada. I wish I could see same comparison of Canada and New Zealand and Australia.

He knowingly broke Canada's laws when he got behind the wheel of a semi type that he wasn't licenced for. He did this while not being a citizen. What would he do if we let him stay and he became a citizen?! I met too many international students and most them they were studying on line!!! so they are not need to came to Canada, but the reason is they came for work. Each one has two jobs !!! So the reason coming for work and save money not for study and at the end after graduation they stay in Canada and never come back home.

Last year in 2023, many Africans came to Canada ?? as a visiting tourist and end up claiming asylum. Most of them were sleeping on the streets of Toronto because there were not enough beds available in the shelter to accommodate them. I remembered that one African die sleeping on the street. They are using the student visa to get IN to Canada, FIRST, and from there an immigration consultant who normally are from their own ethnic background will persuade these students under false pretense that they (consultant) would be able to help them get permanent residency. This is a scam in itself by their own people.\nGovernment should make a stand regarding the student visa policy on temporary work permit for students, then after the program ends, they should go. Why grant these thousands of students permanent residency at this time. There's already a problem of housing shortage and soaring rental cost happening at the same time. \n Manitoba's 2 year extension will attract these protesters in PEI to move to Manitoba. Bet on it.

All over Europe, Canada and the US the student visas are used as backdoor immigration. This needs to end. The visas need to include a requirement to leave the host country immediately after graduation.

And also in the end there isn't much consumer protection in the US. Many businesses have quite shady ways of getting your money out there. We feel a lot safer financially in Canada although there are breaches here too sometimes. I believe you need to make a good combined $300,000 depending where you live in order to make a good living in the US but the only reason why I would move really is for the climate although I would move to Mexico before moving to the US because generally speaking, Mexicans are friendlier. Very generally speaking.

This video reeks of Racism, laws (if they want to be fair) can never retrospective in nature/application. All the students who are already in Canada should have the option to be eligible for a PR, they (the Indian students) went there for a better life, they have their entire existence dependent on the fact of becoming a Canadian citizen eventually. Deporting them would be a loss for India as well as Canada, as many of them will end up with depression and feeling of failure. \n\nThe Canadian government must allow these student who are already in the country to apply for citizenship and make citizenship and PR rules stricter going forward. I know for a fact that 95% of Indian and African students don’t even attend their first semester and withdraw before their tuitions are kept. They usually apply to private colleges. I work in social and community services. Many of them come with mental health illnesses and the parents pawn them off to Canada on the pretense of them going to school only to end up on social assistance because they can’t find work.

I remember visiting Canada and trying to get a cell phone data plan, it was imposible as a tourist without any Canadian documents. I ended up paying like $70 usd for 4GB of data with Roger which was insane. Now I just cross US/Canada border and bring my Starlink with me. The things I love about Canada is the dog friendly National Parks and the landscapes. Prices have gotten out of hand ?

Canada did exactly what China tried to do minus the industrialization. They tried to constantly prop up their housing market because Canada is such a uncompetitive economy because of all the trash and inneficient regulations. Not only is it it impossible to live here, there are no resources unless the government gets something from it. As an indigenous child who grew up in foster care my whole life, there was no indigenous foster care homes for me to go to and therefore my culture has become traumatic for me. My OWN culture has major trauma related to it and my foster care agency would NOT help me unless I moved to the reservation after I aged out the THEIR system, which was not applicable because they were the ones who traumatized me. When I turned 19, I was expected to have it all figured out, I was not allowed to remain in my foster home afterwards without massive paper work and thank god my foster mom cared about me because without her, I would be on the streets with nothing but a garbage full of clothes. I moved out on my own with the help of that family and my agency said they would help with things if I asked. As of the economy now, I did ask them. I asked them for any help at all and my social worker LITERALLY ghosted me and stood me up, even at my plea for help. You would think this is just my case but there are hundreds of cases like mine with even worse endings and what Canada has done with this information is nothing. Foster Care in Canada for indigenous youth is the 2000’s way of Residential Schools and I am EXTREMELY lucky to NOT be homeless and dead. Many of my friends in similar situations are dead or homeless and I have no hope for Canada, it’s an extremely depressing reality.

At the end of the day. It comes down to the individual. Learn new skills, use those skills to sell for money. Working 9-5, 40-60 hours a week only can bring so much. Can't fix the system? Move into a market that benefits you. That's why there's 1 million immigrants in Canada. Most Canadian's are wealthy compared to the immigrants in their own country. \n\nThere's a say: those who choose to be stagnate will result in failure. Those who choose to involved will continue to succeed. The world changing. \n\nLearn to adapt or will be left behind. \n\nHumans are greedy. Learn the game or be left out and suffer.
