Canada cannot make its own money. So what does it do? It has to figure out unethical ways to bring in money. This is done by bringing in immigrants. There is multiple birds with one Stone hit here. Meaning gives immigrants the lie of a better life. So they take all their money that they have in their nation. And they bring it here. That's free money that Canada did not have to work for and now other nations have lost. then they lied to them and tell them that they can get anything they want. For me to get a franchise here while owning other businesses was IMPOSSIBLE 5 yrs ago. But these guys with no credentials are getting it right away. I wasn't allowed to modify my house or rent by law. And they are now allowing all of that. My mother had an international driver's license from France and she had to go through hoops to get her licence here. They are handing things over with no screening to these people which is cause instability and chaos. No structure. They let them bring their huge money here and put into franchises with no credentials. Bank loans free approval no questions asked. Meanwhile, most of those franchises will never make any money. Then they will take that money also, and put it into homes. Rent etc, and this is the part where they basically drain the immigrant money in an instant and put it into Canada economy. Now that you have all these immigrants buying all these businesses. Now you need slave work, so you start Bringing it more immigrants to work those slave jobs. Because in the 1990s, all the way up to 2010. You were encouraging Education. During that time Education was the money Maker. So you kept pushing that. Billions went to universities. Telling people that they'll have a better future. That was the lie of that time. Now you want the same people to work min wage jobs. Now immigration is a bigger Money maker. They say they're bringing in these guys Because they want to work these jobs that a canadians don't want to work. That's because you just made those fake jobs by creating more immigrants to come here have franchises that need minimum wage jobs. But you also promised the rest of us that if we worked hard enough, we will get better jobs. So why would we want to resort to minimum wage jobs on top of you ruining the market for housing inflation taxes etc? How could we even afford while working Minimum wage jobs. And that's why they're bringing people in here. This goes deeper than it seems. socialism. then they get mad At us and demand more taxes and more money. But Canada is a closed system. So how can we afford giving you more than we're making? This insanity has to stop. This chaos needs to stop.

Fix the government & stop showing the world that Canada is safe heaven for rest of the world. I have seen Ukraine refugees taking money from Canadian gov later leaving back once the money is finished. I have seen people coming to Canada with Gov 40-50K once that is finished they leave. Safe supply is a joke while government is legalizing heroine. Addicted person will not blame the the drugs. They will always find someone else to blame. Fix housing. Stops Blaming students and migrants for your own issues. Drugs are free for addicts and then blaming for skilled people trying to make it here. They are trying make better life and contribute + they have to pay taxes for this nonsense. What they get is racisms. While US people are straight to your face and tell you everything on your face. But Canadian people pretend to be open. But they stab you in the back.

I was born in Canada in the 70's. I left last year in November forever never to return. I can tell you as a born Canadian I can honestly tell you Canada is gone to hell. Peace out Canada.

I have hard about two interviews from Canada after applying for LMIA job and at the end they will tell me that they like my experience but they needed someone already in Canada and the last interview i hard last year was seriously asking me if i have already gotten my visa approval to come to Canada and i said no, which i ask them to accept me and give me any necessary documents that i can used to apply for my visa and they said no. That has been my challenge so far and am tired of applying for a job outside Canada ?

Not gonna lie. But Canadian teenagers feel entitled . They don’t want to work which is a shame. That might be a problem with the parents. But a good portion of 20-35 year old living with there parents are white Canadians. Let me be clear before you all slam me. But it is fucking true. Look at the line ups and tell me how many Canadians do you see. None. The problem is they want a job to pay them big money right off the start. We all started somewhere. I worked for 5.35 an hour that was only 20 years ago. That was minimum wage. Ridiculous right!!! But it actually hasn’t moved up much sense then. Saskatchewan is still the lowest minimum wage in all of Canada ( thanks Scott Moe?). I get it. Even right now with the Trudeau government you really can’t make enough money to survive but you have to try.

I can tell you as a red seal plumber in Winnipeg, these guys are ruining my trade, undercutting by 50%, then screwing up the job and I get a fraction of the cost to fix it. And you are 100% right, 15 people living in the same house, I can't compete against them, I hate this Canada which I was once to be so proud of it.

The Inmigrants leaving are most likely skilled Inmigrants compared to the new asylum seekers arriving in Canada without any skills. This means in the future we will have lots of people with no skills getting free money from the government making the economy slow down and costing more money for the tax payers . This is an issue to be addressed soon as we can see what’s happening in the US. \nMoreover Looking for a job in Canada as a skilled and educated immigrant is a hard task . You have to downgrade your education and skills to be suitable for the jobs . I got a masters degree and I had to removed from my curriculum in order to be considered for the job and not be overqualified. This is a common thing for skilled Inmigrants. This tells you a lot that being a skilled immigrant is not well recognized here in Canada

There is a whole other Canada outside Toronto, Brampton or Vancouver. Disgruntled, leave. No one is stopping you from leaving. Should have done more investigation on Canada instead of taking some hired foreign immigration official advice, whose job is to make money off your back, telling you mistruths and all you had to do was do your own investigation. I remigrated from Canada back to India bcoz of lack of savings/opportunity in my field. Came as PR in Dec 2019 left as Canadian citizen on July 2023. Did a masters for 2.5 yrs in between . I will always tell my friends and family not to come to Canada.

12 years and counting- tell me one big infra project that’s started in Canada.. no highways; no new transit system; barely surving infra and can’t keep up the pace.. job- very few companies and there is always a job threat. Feel like we are walking on a double edged sword.. companies Dnt even spent on employees and their trainings. Honestly never thought of this dark side of Canada as I came here with high hopes. Canada by itself is very WELCOMING, the problem is that you dive into the trap, there only ONE way to do this right, GIVE TO ALL IMMIGRANTS TIME BUFFER, like 1-2 year, don't destroy them from the start, it`s like I call friends to my home, I will say hey please feel free like in your house, but then ill throw them dirt to a face and ask them hey please be clean in my house go find place where to wash up and don't use my towel. Time that migrants spend to find JOB and HOME are exceed TIME they can afford living, it means LOW CREDIT SCORE, DEBT Problems, bad mood, anxiety, no hope, and boom you have more homeless guys. Politics should be supporting migrants very well not just throwing them to the streets, put some regulatory, cut some paperwork for applying a job, make RULE that every IMMIGRANT should go to government job like cleaning streets or IDK make it MUST, so there will be no situation where they don't have jobs. Move to Washington state and the economy is much better than British Columbia. In Washington state you save 50 percent of your earnings. The American dollar goes far and many many many jobs. There are no job in British Columbia and they are called slave labored jobs working at Walmart or as a Amazon delivery job. I met some Indian people in Blaine and Bellihgham and tell me Greater Vancouver is too expensive. Also American people know how to create jobs. Anyways Justin Trudeau destroyed British Columbia's economy and Canada too. In about two years I will be moving close to Seatlle, Washington and I will checkout Portland and Eugene, Oregon. Anyways Oregon looks like British Columbia. Half of British Columbia was the Oregon Territory that extended to Prince George.

As an Irishman who moved to Canada 4 years ago I can tell you the country is in a shocking state, zombies on every street corner, violent crimes outta control, even my wife who is English was attacked while riding the train to work one morning by a random homeless person of Asian descent telling her to go home and abusing her with racial slurs, on top of this the prices of everything has shot up enormously from rent to your average grocery shop, woke culture is forced upon everywhere to the point I feel like I’m being controlled on my world views… both me and my wife are educated and have good jobs yet we just about keep our heads above water in a two bedroom flat in Calgary

We pay 40 to 45% in taxes aside from property tax, expensive housing, utiities and food. the current government ruling is the main reason people wanting to leave Canada. you can not blame them just when they think they have seen it all the government adds new taxes(Carbon) we pay all these taxes but we get our garbage picked up once a week!? when a thief steals from you here the police tells you report it yourself online!? there is many problems here but the government pushes to teach little kids sexual contents!? I guess dividing people is the key to rule without challenges.

Well. There are thousands of permanent residents from Canada who got stranded around the world in the pandemic. The travel restrictions Canada put in place for permanent residents are far out of line. I was at the airport the last week before airports got closed. I had even my return ticket printed out, checked online in. At the airport, I was told, with some other PR’s that as a PR we were not allowed to board the plane! Seriously? What country does this? For myself, I couldn’t return to Canada for 1.5 years! Panic in the first couple of weeks. Calling the Canadian embassy every week. Even asking if Canada had a way to extend the Permanent residency visa at the embassy available. No. If you are longer than 2 years away from Canada, you CANNOT RENEW YOUR PERMANENT RESIDENCY CARD! Well. Lucky me, I didn’t had to work. After 14 years of working and living in Canada, I just had enough from a country that is telling none Canadians that we are people of 2nd class. And no. I am not from India. I’m from Germany and we cannot have a 2nd passport like other countries. I just got rid of everything in Canada. I stayed in Panama. Renewed last year my German passport. Got a “lifetime” residency visa in Panama. Don’t have to be worried about heating costs anymore. It is warm year around. Maybe it was a good thing that Canada gave me the “2nd class human” feeling. That’s when you figure out in times of emergency what countries do for immigrants. Canada was one of a handful countries in the pandemic who blocked permanent residence card owners from returning!

You must also tell to which those people went after leaving Canada. To India or some other developed country. I am sure that those folks must not have landed in India. Canadian immigrants are far far far far far better then Indians living in India.

Stay in your country. No one is telling you to come to my Canada.

I will tell you all something funny, Canada made me a citizen in just two weeks. This happened in Sept of 1987, and it was done via the Canadian citizenship centre in Mississauga Ontario. I had an interview with the judge, who was from Pakistan (that is not a lie), then I was sworn in as a Canadian citizen in the chamber and a government employee as a witness. This is a true story, and how things are done in Canada. Well....for white people like me at least. ?

In the 1960s Canada was building homes to accommodate the Boomer wave they saw coming. It was planned.\nToday Canada sets high immigration targets, planned. But does not build homes for those people.. failure to plan. Growing the nation is a great idea, but you have to plan. Fail to plan, plan to fail.\n\nCanada can improve very quickly, all the government has to do is pull it's boot up off the neck of business. Cut red tape, repeal bad laws, tell the cities to fix zoning and shrink their bureaucracy. Build cheaper homes and profit from scale. Build starter homes for the masses, not McMansions for the elite. Young people need a place they can afford, so they can feel secure and start a family.

Some negative feedback in Canada, for sure it is true, but can't control if people come and go to Canada, I've immigrated to Canada 20 years ago, and tell you to have a good stable job as a professional from you home country to Canada to find the same spot, involves a lot of work, perseverance and motivation. If they quit that's on them, if they complain on taxes etc, well that's the system. Stay or move out that's it.

I was born in bangladesh and lived 18 years of my life there, then I moved to The us which is where I went to university and spent the next 7 years of my life. Then in 2004 I moved to canada and spent the next 13 years there before finally moving to oceania. Let me tell you why I left canada, in the later years there I was noticing how much I was being treated like an immigrant yes I am an immigrant but living 13 years of your life in the country and not being treated like a citizen but new people come into the country brand new and are treated more like citizens then you are hurts a lot. When I was new in canada I felt much more welcome by my coworkers and the citizens then I did after living there for so many years. But there's two more major reasons I left canada and these reasons are just as big as to why. In vancouver where I lived, the homeless crisis as you may know about was getting out of hand, it was a major problem even when I first settled in vancouver but now people were scared to even go the store as mentally ill homeless people were terrorizing everyone. And the last reason to top it all off was that the prices for everything in vancouver were simply ludicrous, It was insane how high the prices went up and taking care of my family was a struggle. I moved in 2017 and never once looked back, where I am now everyone and everything is sane and it hurt to leave canada at first because of how long I lived there and the memories I had there but let me be very clear I do not regret leaving canada.

There are many reasons to like Canada and I can assure you it’s definitely Not the people and definitely Not the weather it’s a place where you can earn lots of lovely money and then leave the god forsaken place ???? well that’s what all the folks who work there tell me ????

You should tell us how many Indian immigrants actually went back to India . Not many . I have seen 20% interest rate here and you think 5% interest rate is high . Indian community is the richest immigrant community in North America . People move to United States and move back to Canada which is normal . 17.5% left Canada but 82.5% are still here , what does that tell you ? There is housing shortage and that will be solved in time . A lot of these problems are caused due to covid shutdown and excessive immigrants coming from India . Question should be asked why so many leaving India ? In 2021 and 2022 , about 900000 Indian immigrants came to Canada and 2023 will likely be close to half a million . We Indian may not like cold weather but we are very comfortable in inside house . So far this year I only had to shovel snow twice and not for months . There is no shortage of job opportunities but One need to be flexible of courier . Canada still tops in most standards and consistently in top 10 among all countries of the world .

Who on Earth would want to live here? We are such a depressing and failing culture and society. We have placed ourselves in a situation where nothing properly can grow here. Canada will get far more depressing over the next decades. I tell people all the time don't come here, you'll pay more than money for coming here. And I tell people, who are able, to leave. Find a better place to call home. Canada can't be home to people. Not with how we are easily dislodged, displaced and how everything around us is on fire and burning down. \n\nDon't come to Canada unless you're suicidal and want to die, or you happen to be super rich and you can make it. \n\nCanada will be losing many many Canadians in the future. Whether it's people leaving the country, whether it's people returning to their old countries, or whether it's people killing themselves off desperately trying to find solutions to problems. \n\nPlease don't come here people. \n\nCanada is a horrible place to live. And if I could leave here, I would. But alas I'm a very poor Canadian. So that leaves me with options of suicide later in life, at least Canada is getting programs together for that and the options become more accessible every passing year. If we are going to make a country filled with shit, we at least need to give options to people to leave instead of holding them to a slave system that goes nowhere.

My cousin is a renowned medical specialist. Ppl fly in from around the world to see her. She practiced in NY city and she and her scientist husband moved back to Canada. She blamed the insurance system. In Canada, she now sees anyone who needs her and there are no non medical ppl telling her what to offer or not. She says that doctors in the US work for insurance companies and not the patients. In Canada meanwhile, treatment is the priority.

My son turned his back on TO…Canada after 7 years, my youngest will do the same, with her Masters in hand…soon. As a returning expat, my husband n I have decided to not spend our retirement funds here anymore. Their diplomas have no real value anymore. They are churned out solely because of money and it's flooding the market as well. \nHow is this allowed? \nCan you imagine how many Canadian Citizens are DYING because they have to fight against millions of new International students and new coming immigrants each year for a hospital spot.\nWait times at ER as exploded. Tons of new cases where Canadians died waiting for emergency help. This is criminal. \n\nThis is also very bad for the long term Indians that came to Canada many years ago and their kids born in Canada. They are starting to get stigmatized because all Canadians see is insane amount of Indians that barely speak English (that would be the immigrants not the students) and with a housing crisis and it affects Canadians.
