Most of it is due to bad so called visa expert agents in India. They haven’t even been to Nepal and they help educated people fill their visa applications for western countries. The day people start doing their own applications with honesty the rejection rate will start to drop. I have seen my own friends granted US visas when they only had 2000 rupees in their bank account only because they were honest. Last year I did my dad UK visa and when the asked his monthly income I wrote 0 and he still got approved. Don’t fall for the trap guys.

I don’t know about rest of the world but in the US alone, 700,000 Indians entered the country either illegally or overstayed their US visa just last year alone. In Canada, some Indian international students were discovered to have forged their education documents and now have been deported. Temporary workers are demanding permanent residency after work visa extensions have been cancelled due to housing shortages & increasing unemployment rate. \n\nIndian people in general are good workers but these protest aren’t helping and demanding they be allowed to stay while their documents are forged is upsetting Canadians. The problem is fear that Indians will travel to the West and not go back. Not just Indians, but Africans, South Americans and many Asian countries do the same. I've lived in the US for 55 years. There was an Indian music troop that came to the US to perform, maybe 20 people, including singers, musicians, comedians etc. After their tour in the US, half of them did not return to India. They figured they can make a better living in the US and live here as an illegal immigrant. This is too common. The next time when a troop of musicians want a US visa, chances are the immigration office will think twice about approving a visa. I can travel anywhere with a US passport because people know that Americans will return back to the US.

Let me cite a few below.\n\n1) In one of the Western countries, a few years ago, a real Punjabi brother and sister who staged fake a marriage, got a marriage certificate, and other documents only to migrate there. The government eventually found put and deported them.\n\n2) Canada deported a few hundred Gujarati students when the US border security found them not speaking in English. On investigation, it was found that they all came with fake IELTS certificate.\n\nThere are many incidents we get to witness the day after the day. So, we can't blame other countries. It's us who made us very cheap in the international market. Because of those Indians, the entire innocent, honest, and talented Indians community is affected.

India should stop e-visas for govt employees of countries like the US. Any US citizen who or whose immediate family member is a US govt employee should be asked to queue up at an Indian consulate and given an appointment after 1 year. They should be asked to submit various sorts of documents, submit their passport, wait for 45 days after which depending on the mood of the officer at the consulate, a sticker visa could be issued. I am a cruise ship worker and i travel US and canada every year . In 2023 i had my joining at dry dock in spain . And i was in Schengen visa center in kolkata . There i meet one sardar ji . He was their for the tourist visa and he told me , all his family members in Canada but his visa 7 times got rejected by the canadian authority. Now he want to get a tourist visa for spain and he have a plan to not come back . And he was telling me all those thing with extremely loud voice in front of the visa application center. You are absolutely right. Some of the recent Indian imports to Canada and US are totally unsuitable to reside out of India. Their behavior in public, lacking civic sense, lacking sense of hygiene and lacking politeness. I have lived in the States for 50 years. I have never experienced racism ever. I dont blame Canadians or Americans for being fed up with Indians. Unfortunately some of the new arrivals from India never got the opportunity to learn the etiquettes that the Westerners are accustomed to. They don't care and don't even want to learn. I'm an American, married to a German, and we live in the Southern USA. We spend over a month each year in Germany and Europe. I will say that when it comes to making friends, Germany is far easier than in the Southern US. People here are closed off and absorbed into their own little world (there are exceptions, of course). I've had some bad experiences in Germany but overall have found the people to friendly and welcoming, especially in the North.

My brother accepted a tech job with a firm in the US. He always expressed his belief that Canada was not up to the US. He was elated to move to the US. Two years later he limped back to Canada, without his job, and without his love for US culture. He seldom speaks of his time in the US.\n\nThis is not to say that his experience is the experience of every Canadian moving to the US, or that it is even typical, but it was his experience for whatever than counts.\n\nI think that this may be a much different experience for US citizens born and raised in their own culture.

As a Canadian, I see the relationship with Trump as very toxic. Not long ago, we detained under house arrest Meng Wanzhou (Huawei exec) at the request of Trump. He used her as a bargaining chip for trade between the US and China. Remember that? Canada had to do it (to show others that we keep our word when it comes to treaties). In the end, he cancelled the request, after several years and 2 Canadians being arrested in retaliation by China. So we degraded OUR relationship with China... and for what? What bothers me the most is how Canada prioritizes low skill workers over high skilled. Came here 2 years ago on work permit, both wife and I are tech professionals with over 10 years of work ex in global organizations. I honestly wouldn't mind going back to India or any other country once my visa expires as I know my skills are enough to land a job anywhere (got a job in 1.5 months here). Value add to the economy must also be kept in mind while choosing your permanent residence by the government, how it works in US.

there's zero benefits in moving to Canada. it is a country that is set to debt trap you for the rest of your life once you settled. they invent new tax laws every year to cheat you from your hard work earnings, no one can build a life here in Canada, this is also precisely why there is no known technology or industry developed in Canada. TD by itself is only $132 billion CAD market cap vs a comparable JP Morgan Bank (US) $675 billion USD = $979 billion CAD, more than 7x the size of TD. wonder why there are very few US bank operating in Canada? cause they know better! There are no investor who are foolish enough to invest in Canada, all the tax laws are created to soak wealth from those who didn't know better. As a German national who married a Chinese national, we have left Germany more than 8 years ago.\n\nWe left because:\n\n1. Income opportunities and career opportunities in Germany in my line of work (IT) were mediocre.\n2. Taxation (including Sozialabgaben) was unacceptable. Services available in return were mediocre (e.g., waiting more than 4 months to get an appointment with a neurologist). The pension system is one large Ponzi scheme.\n3. Building wealth and owning real estate on a single income is basically impossible.\n4. My Chinese spouse faced frequent discrimination and racism in everyday life - in Hamburg, which is supposedly known to be modern, diverse and open.\n5. The German weather, culture, lifestyle opportunities and attitude was not attractive to us. We felt trapped and limited. We wanted to have more freedom.\n\nWe've been living in the US Pacific Northwest since and are very happy here (and a lot more successful with our economic goals as well).\n\nGood luck in Germany!

The minimum wages are only 15 bucks an hour which cannot sustain life here in this country. Please stop making false promises to foreigners to come here and be disappointed. This is not a country of milk and honey any longer but poor and enormous homelessness. Hunger, terrible health care, incredible post secondary tuitions and books. Now that president Trump has won the election he is going to place tariffs on Canadian goods and rightfully so. Russia is very interested in the Antarctica and should they or anyone invade Canada we got 3 days of ammunition. The food in AB is very bad for your health. Everything has pesticides, hormones, and by the time fruit and vegies arrive here from the US all the nutrition have gone. A extremely high cancer rate, young and old, diabetes, depression and other mental disorders are rampant. Our children and grandchildren do not have a future so why bother going to school or work. Our kids live on the streets, shelters, camping in the woods and using fentanyl and meth all kinds of dangerous drugs. The cities and small towns are full of used needles, pipes, and more paraphelia just thrown on the trails everywhere. The US will not assist Canada when a possible War 3 will occur, and we the people of Canada and the land are easy prey. If you do not believe me, just come visit RED Deer shelters and walk around on the trails, go to Vancouver but becareful because random assaults are happening every day, people living in tents, using the streets as toilets, drugs galore, even the police is unable to act nor arrest criminal activities caused by desperate people who need to survive. Canada's economy is about to collapse and fall into a recession. We have too many people coming in our country without checking their back ground and many criminals and terrorist groups are entering declaring refugee status whether it is true or not, we do not know. The people of Canada who work and pay highest taxes are used to house these newcomers and education, jobs, food and money. Our government take better care of these illegal people than their own people especially our youth. So please let us not pretend Canada is a land of opportunity and great. We have to vote for the right leader who will have a very difficult time and challenges to overcome if at all possible and make Canada Great Again!
