I have read so much about visa and also some people has offered me to open a visa office , plus i am sure that i get so much money by doing theses, but i refused that offer and choose the path of honesty, it was very hard for me to reject the offer of healthy business like that but the instinct i have inherited from my dad to remain an honest does not let me do such things and i am proud of inheriting such thing.

I would like to thank CBC Fifth Estate for their initiative to uncover the trauma these students go through. This is only one cornerstone of the story. Fifth Estate need to dig deeper and come up with part 2 to look in to our Federal Government policy regarding issuing Student Visa from India. Why these so called for profit colleges / agencies only targeting students from India and not from any other countries ? The Student VISA process is different for students from other countries. It’s our government who is exploiting these students and playing with their hopes and dreams.

I feel sorry about those students being misled and going through such experience but I know that there are a responsible agencies and schools out there to support international students to succeed. On the other hand, I unfortunately witnessed some landlord(permanent residents) facing so much trouble with those with international students or working holiday visa like unpaid rent, breaking the rental agreement and damaging the property. Well, in my personal opinion, there should be a system in place to educate temporary residents before their visa is issued and to guide them to the right direction upon their arrival.

Btw, garanty of success, of employment, doesn't exist and it's baked in the capitalism system that private enterprise and private college prioritize profits (btw, for non Canadian, education, is not subsidized). \nNow, if illegal/fraud practices are occurring, then like any Canadian, you will have to make a complaint to the police and/or take legal action (basically If you don't have money, you're F!). \n \nMaybe the Ontario government should have more stringent laws for private Colleges and recruiting agencies, like mandatory advertising for: \n\t- the required money for subsistence and the low likelihood of finding a good job that will enable students to work; \n\t- the % failure, homelessness, suicide,... \n\t- mental and social stress, differences,... \n \nMaybe Canada could: \n\t- be more stringent with student visa and have a written acknowledgement that states all the risks and pitfalls. \n\t- Guive visa only if the recruiting was done through accredited agencies \n\t- Do official advertisements in India about the risks and requirements of studying abroad. \n \nMaybe a full capitalism society is not moral, but it's the system we decided to live in.

Canada's Cost of living is Joke compares to here in Sri lanka an Average Srilankan Salary is 200$ per month but 1 liter petrol cost more than 1$ imagine how hard it is live here in Sri lanka not only that we import 90% things foreign Countries so Food,Electronics, etc are unimaginably Expensive for example our Government is adding 300% Tax for Vehicles .even though I'm earning 6000$ per month its still not enough for my needs I have to pay like 60000$ to get Canadian Visa But I don't wanna disrespected by some Racist scumbags I'll do anything against people who disrespected me untill they say sorry to me because to me Respect is Everything in My country we Respect Every one we still have Scumbag Human being they are like less than 1% . your Information is very useful for me I'll never come to Canada I was ready to get the Canadian Visa thank you for saving me

One of the top issues is being black. Seen as black and identified as black when you leave a predominantly Black Country. \nWhen I watch the various Realestate shows of white people buying property abroad as second home or just packing up and moving. I always say it must be nice! Because the reality is they can see them self almost everywhere unless they choose to go into a remote area then that’s the only exception but even then as long they learn the language and respect the culture they are good they are liked welcomed and even seen as fascinating. Not saying they don’t have to struggle but the colour of their skin is the least! \nAmerica is great if your trying to be self made, be your own business owner, and other random ventures you want to dabble in. But to just go there and be a regular teacher, doctor, lawyer, engineer to the low and middle class you’ll end up with the same financial issues and struggles as a result. You gotta now cater to the rich and famous wealthy people but then it’s back to never being home and not enough time for family. \nThe reality is if we could make the money we make here in North America and Uk back home in in the Caribbean and specific countries in Africa it would be a dream come true and that goes for other communist countries too. You truly have to know what makes you happy. Make money but enjoy life it might mean living below your means even though you can can afford a bit better life style. People do it all the time back home (not because they want to I know) but for some reason when you move abroad a one bedroom for your single self is to small, the car under $24k isn’t good enough, you don’t want your kids to share a room so you need a bigger house and the list goes on and on. \nCanada is boring if your not in a major city with money to spend you know why? Because people forget the population of the entire country of Canada is only a 3rd, 4th, 10th of the population of certain countries that immigrants came from and in the case of the US population it’s 100x more than Canada. So of course there’s more opportunities there. \nAnd finally imagine if more countries didn’t need visas to travel? They really would just come to make money and go back home or live bicoastal. Even just the freedom of travel half of the immigrants would of settled elsewhere before the year was up or go back home.

You must ask about total cost one by one for student visa and should also ask that if we arrage all kinds of fund which we need like college fee admission fee, 10k doller account and some other expenses after all this struggles can we get student permit 100℅?because visa rejection rate from Pakistan is much higher.

She's switching companies soon since she found an even better opportunity elsewhere and is already making steps getting me on the team. She starts the hiring process in August.\n\nShe said I should fix a holiday visa and that if the company is still happy with me after 12 months they would most likely sponsor my stay. So yeah, everything seemed pretty solid!\n\nBut now that I'm watching this video I'm getting scared that I might be missing something that wouldn't allow me to work there. Can you record or question anything in US embassy in any Indian city? Same instructions is every embassy. I have been to Indian embassy in NYC many time. People behave like crazy. I have seen people scream on officers for visa denial.

As someone who spend some time in Vancouver, really considered to get more years visa I will compare with my home country Czech Republic and European-Union at all. I only find benefits in Canada:\n - big Czech comunities in Vancouver and Rockies and Toronto, its very heartwarming spending time with these people, getting contacts etc.\n- incredible nature\n- stay far from Russia (these days)\n\nBut It is not so big deal in case of money (pay/living ration), payed holiday (we have 5 weeks as standard), healthcare (I know people who FLY FROM CANADA TO EU for dentist) and distances. LIke evening trip after work is almost impossible. Going abroad is soooo far compare to Europe etc. I love Canada, at least for roadtrips, but I am not sure if starting from scratch, getting canadian experience really trade off

Everyone here is asking for the officers side of story. but whatever it is he cannot refuse to do the job he has.( in his privileged position of giving people visa he can’t behave so erratically and inconsiderately and blackmailing to not issue visa ) It is like a teacher saying student, if u talk back to me I will punish ur grades.. unprofessional and much more….. \n Even if the couple are in the wrong then he should have asked for proper assistance and be impartial. Oh this is how every Indian official gov workers behaves, at least 90% of them. While we don't know the full version here, I'll share mine.\nI've waited for hour outside the entrance door along with others where we don't have waiting chairs so had to sit on steps where people pass by even though we all came at the right time that was written on our papers. Then I had to wait about 3 more hours for my appointment chance and then they checked my docs and decided that I don't have two particular doc which isn't even that important these days, but he didn't say that at once, we got first doc and then he said I need another doc. so I had to wait for 3 more hours to get mine as (we had to go to school and get that doc) while all other people like those grandparents, job applicants and farmers got their passports and visas. *sighing*\nI still remember the attitude of that officer, It's like he was just there and I was just waiting his time, and he was just reminding me that his work time was about to be done and that he needs to go. \nI don't understand how the gov offices works, we have tons of population and of course tons of applications that needs to be done for work, yet the gov office working hours just 6-6.5 hours? Canada is over hyped, life is easy in UK, my family went to Canada 20 years ago from UK with UK pounds, it was easy then to get visa, property was very cheap not any more but now they are very successful and happy, I like Toronto city but the winter got me minus 30- And minus lots of pounds I came to UK one positive gains my son was born there hence a Canadian ????

Thanks for the great video, i would like to know. As the main applicant, once the COPR letter has been issued and the single entry visa issued. Do I as the main applicant fly to Canada and get the PR or does my entire family fly and each get PR? as we are intending to finish the process but fly to Canada get the PR and return to finish things up before the big move.
