I found home here, apparently, you did not find it there.) Also, why are you showing the MPDC vehicle? It is a cop cruiser here, in Washington, D.C. If you wanted to highlight crime in Canada, why show a police vehicle from another country? (Minute 7). Also, since you hate winter, as you say, why not leave NOW? It is warm nowadays in the Middle East, and, apparently you seem to think it is cleaner there. So why hesitate?

We’ve been here since more than a year now and we don’t have a car and we love the pollution free air here and the work life balance. If you live downtown, you don’t need a car as public transport is very convenient. If you don’t want to do things on your own and you definitely need the help from maids and so on, then Canada isn’t for you. It all depends on where you find a house. Very few people in downtown own cars. If you want to live a healthier life, Canada is a good place for that. We came in winters and settled with the help of relatives and thankfully it’s been good so far. Summers are amazing here. Job market is a struggle currently but it’s not permanent. And it is possible to find a job from India if you try for it. If you’re in IT, you don’t need to start from scratch. There are Indian stores almost everywhere and many Indian restaurants as well. You just need to find your place. And it’s an amazing place for plant based vegan people. Food quality is amazing and great safety restrictions. Healthcare also depends on where you live. If you find your people and friends and keep socializing with family, loneliness won’t be there. It’s better to move to a new country when you don’t have kids. \nAlso the accent gradually develops and there’s nothing to worry about. This place is very diverse and there are people with very different accents from all around the world. There is some struggle initially but it all depends on what your priorities are. Life here is very comfortable once you get used to the lifestyle here and the biggest thing is, work life balance and the quality of life. If you want to do things other than your job, this is a good place to do that. Kids also become much more independent here. Rest it all depends on what your goals in life are. Also one of the biggest factors is, if your partner/husband isn’t willing to help with housework or cooking, you can’t survive here. As simple as that. Many factors to consider.

They could have offered me, say, a teaching position in one of their third-degree Institutions: they did not, and I think rightly so. Not a bit of hard feelings about that, they had already done a lot for me, and taught me something in the process. First of all, TO STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR WAYS, since factual evidence slapped to my face that their ways were far more effective than my country's ways.\nI went back to my country after a few years, were I was able to improve my situation thanks to the qualifications they helped me earn. They did not ask me to leave, but I felt I had to do that. I realized I lacked the qualities (energy, initiative, enthusiasm) that would enable me to contribute to and continue their effort in modelling their Society, the very Society that gave me so much. Better go back, lest I may contribute to spoil it, and do my best were I belong.\nThey never asked me to repay their kindness. So I don't think they did not do enough for me, quite the opposite. It was tough, but I shall be thankful as long as I live.

Since trudeau, this country has gone downhill. It's what happens when half the people who live here aren't even from this country. We send money away instead of investing in our own country. Nothing new. It has been that way over decades since I came 25 years ago. If I have to pick one thing different is higher house price in big cities, which are common in any other countries.

Canada sucks. I came here as a doctor only to find endless blocks and hoops and loops. Before settling here I was told ENDLESSLY about the paradise I was about to move to (Canadians love to present their country as such), and how a job as a doctor would be there for me since I meet the qualifications. You come here and reality hits, this is a bureaucratic nightmare of a country! The lack of Canadian experience is also an excuse for discrimination. I speak four languages, worked in different countries including Colombia, USA, France. Somebody please explain to me what is so extraordinary about Canadian experience that one cannot learn elsewhere? BTW Canadian medicine is TERRIBLE, BAD! I am leaving in June, got a pretty good job lined up back home in Colombia!

I immigrated here back in 2019, by the time I became a citizen in 2023, I was just astonished at the level of immigration and international students. I hate how schools exploit them for cash, their education quality is so so bad, its unimaginable, and you can't blame the teachers even, each class is like 300-450 students. The quality of education is so bad in Canada, I don't know if it was good before but I can only imagine it was since these universities are well known here. Students loans have become a business for banks and lenders and I guess that gave the universities ideas on making a business out of exploiting poor country's wealth though international students.

It's 100% true. International students are being exploited for tuition money and GIC money. Students have taken huge loans from their home country expecting that they will be able to get jobs and pay off their debt but since last 1 year students are jobless. We are failing to get menial labor jobs. Inflation and rent are sky high and our GIC money is not enough to survive here. I myself sleep hungry sometimes as I don't have enough money to buy food after paying rent. I think if they can't give us jobs and affordable housing, canada should stop calling itself a developed first world country. We should call out the whole system for keeping international students in inhumane conditions.

My parents immigrated from Britain in the 1959s after WWII and built a comfortable life! At 72 I live a relatively comfortable life although I have spent all my savings and I currently rent! I lived in Spain with my much younger Colombian wife who passed away in 2019. My pension income is sufficient for me to live since I returned to Canada and I have better than adequate healthcare and dental care! The short story is \nTurd and the Turdettes were elected because Harpoons and his band of buttkissing bootlickers were self-serving incompetents. Now Turd, who has never been competent to be PM, which his long list of scandals should easily prove, is going to compel the election of another incompetent self-serving politician. Canadians never learn, switching from one idiot to another as the country spirals into the sewer. The proposed level of immigration and climate change options will turn Canada into a third world country? Maybe we can call it Turdland and then we will all be Turds!

We are US Americans. When our child decided to attend the University of Toronto, out-of-country, 15-some years ago, we researched so much, including the university’s international student pulse. We were horrified to learn the lion’s share of UofT’s international students body intended to use UofT not for a high-caliber education but as a fast-path gateway into the US upon graduation, if not before. International student forum members were quite clear and unapologetic their intentions. In the years since, the US has learned most of these immigrants can’t compete once here and do poorly. The reason is part expectation and part inflated self-assessment — 1. Our urban and suburban housing is just as expensive as Toronto and Vancouver, 2. We don’t have free health care except for the destitute. Even then, it’s minimal, 3. Our ivies and other great universities already supply our best employers, 4. Our academic standards are more rigorous, in most cases, to Canada’s, 5. Our winters are just as cold and snowy, 6. Our summers are so hot, your car and anything in it will melt, and 7. We generally don’t have public transportation except piecemeal in our cities. Further, most of us don’t want Trudeau’s increasingly fascist politics to take hold here, any more than they have already, under Biden.

Ive been in around Toronto since 1973 and lived downtown 20 years ago, I owned a condo, and let me tell you the city was so much better 20 years ago its not even funny. It was also way better in the 80’s, in fact the entire country was better in the 80’s . Today the city is a ?show mostly due to the cost of living and I hope to leave soon to Niagara or Cambridge.

Not everybody is that foolish live in cities where you look at concrete all day, and have to deal with pollution, crime, traffic, etc. There are tons of beautiful smaller places in Canada where it's great living. I am born in Canada and i lived in Montreal's suburb(South Shore like we say here) all my life and i love it but i would never live in big major cities because of increases of crimes, high prices of houses/condo, traffic jam, pollution. \nMy girlfriend from Beijing came here last september for 2 months and she really loved it. She enjoyed the freedom, the many different foods from other countries in restaurants, our culture , the people kindness, beautiful nature and easy living.\nYes we have too free medical health care here in Quebec's province(Sun card ) and i have an excellent medical plan with my employer so i can have acess to private clinics free of charges when it's too long in public hospitals.\nI hate snow and cold long winters since the age of 18 when i had to go out for work or school and i dont like our corrupt goverment but we can vote for a less worst one every 4 years. ?

As a Jewish “cousin” living in the Southern US, I can definitely appreciate your concerns, especially those related-to the cold, inflation, religious observance, indoctrination, and an over-bearing government…. Assuming that they would be supportive and good role models, are your children’s grandparents still alive? Would living near them be an option? Are any uncles, aunts, and cousins available at any potential locations? Suggestion: Some dear friends sold their dream home and left their long-time friends last year to move across the country to live in a property that they had inherited. These friends eventually admitted that they were MISERABLE in their new location and now (12-14 months later) have returned to their “home state.” Unfortunately, their choices have turned-out to be very “costly” in many ways….. Since your children are involved, you may want to consider giving any potential location a 6-12 month “test run” before making an “official” decision….. Prayers and best wishes as you consider your options!! ❤️

As a canadian i never thoughg of living anywhere else vanxouver is so beautiful. Growing up govrnmebt started cutting programs and services in schools ans public resources. And kept doing it. \n\nNow they are removinf beautiful homes to build ugly apartments no yards .\n\nThere is not enough public space. Everyone is moving to the city. We use to be able to go to the beach on a weekday in spring and there was no one. Now its packes. To get to the bathroom was almost a block long. The bathrooms are small. Goos for population we has in the early 90s. We need somethings 4x larger now. \n\nIm ok with new comers but if they create a new community in the rural areas. We have so many areas up north no one moves to.\n\nOr lots of space to build new communities up north, not deatroy the current communities that already exist. \n\nWith all the new apartments there is not enough space for cara, no parking and no room on public transportation.\n\nSimply, the city cannot support anymore people. Its unrealistic. \nI worked with a girk who shares a 1 bedroom apartment with 5 other people and she still paid 1500 a month for rent.\n\nThis will soon be like america - run down, extreme poverty & homelessness. The homelessness has gotten so extreme.\n\nWages havw increased maybe 3x since i was a kid, but pricea rose eveey year.\n\nAs a kid we paid $850 for 3 bedrooms. When i mo ed to my first apartment i paid $800 for 3 bdrms. My friend pays $3000 now for a 2 bedroom aptt.\n\nThere are more crimes more thefts now. Being uncivilized and behaving like a street dog is NOT a government official role.\nIt seems that this over smart Indian official posted at Indian Embassy at NYC was trying to put some sort of undue and illegitimate pressure on the Indian visa applicants wanting to attend the funeral of the deceased family member. Since this official knew that reason to travel to India was emotional and urgent one asking for bribe could have been strong Prime motive and driving force behind such barbaric behavior. Since the victim had recorded the whole episode, Ambassador post at NYC embassy had no other option but to issue clarification otherwise he would have put the victim in the Black list and later, would have taken hefty bribe from them to remove their names from the list.\nIn past Indian Ambassadors posted at Italy, France.....played a scandalous role in defense purchase deals from these countries.\nSince these Ambassadors are posted thousands of miles away from the India , they never get caught by the honest Indian Journalists.

I'm using someone account. As male and business men in Canada since 1977 the problem is that British origin culture or its people, they want to turn anyone into slave. You ask for price and people say NO!!! Then they ask you> are you any good<? I mean, I done 250 homes in Vancouver BC and they still have doubts. After that they refuse to pay for services and so you work from hand to mouth. Even in the third world country, now, you make some of profit due to respect...Because they have to pay mortgage, people turn bitter and want to revenge on someone, or they are, or become> just mentally ill. When you are successful, due to your innovative methods, or providing for workers what they need, they cut you down saying > that you are propagating socialism in Canada, or will begin to block you, while using elite high tech mind controls... In my case they started to block my incoming business calls, because people I know for 30 years and I met in person in restaurants or while shopping, they just complained to me saying> I wanted to give you contract and I needed your reasonable services and tell me> why you are not unswerving my incoming cell phone calls? Some times i watch videos on differents experiences others migrants experiencing here Canada and we re on same boat. That s why i also made choice to move out in Colombia on the beach for my retirement.Then im here giving some advise. As immigrant myself, African from Gabon, we experiencing same realities of the West since 10 years now. At some point, i can say there s something broken in this country since last 6-8 years. As you making decision to leave Canada on the reasons you expressed, it is very important for you not be wrong chosing the wrong place again. You need to think about it seriously. Straight, can tell you 100% United states is worse than Canada as Muslim family to live in. You need to read all suggestions given in this Video. As a lot people suggested you in the comments, i totally agree with em that Malaysia, is the Top one based of the reasons you explained why you leaving Canada. Maybe Turkey and UAE as second choice. Whatever you do I don't recommend Turkey, my family tried to move there from the US (as non Turks). It is enticing at the beginning since its a Muslim country with decent infrastructure, and we had nice experiences visiting there, but for moving a family there it's a whole different struggle. Turkey is a homogenous society, and it turns out you can't really just insert yourself into a new land you have no ancestral, lingual, or cultural connection to. We could not integrate and employment opportunities were minimal for non turks. I recommend you either move to your country of ancestry, because you have a legitimacy and connection there lingually and culturally, or you could temporarily move to an expat friendly country like Qatar or something (I don't say UAE because its a consumeristic immoral dump). If you are Arabic speakers you can also consider other Arabic speaking countries like Lebanon, Morocco, etc.

Interesting video I was kind of surprised someone from Singapoor would leave their country for Canada since everyone I know from your country is pretty rich or has a good life so moving to Canada to me is bit strange.

WAY too many people moving to Canada since 2020 has made it almost unlivable both for people who are from here and the newcomers alike. Canada, as we knew it and as you probably thought it was has been all but destroyed. This isnt the country you read/heard about anymore.

Extra 2 reasons that I know you can't talk about:\n1- Their blind support to Israel, their gen0cide, and occupation since 1948. This is not even a muslim/arab matter. It's becoming a humanitarian and moral crisis.\n2- Their strong indoctrination of the LGBTQ matter in schools. While it's their country and their law, if they claim freedom and equality, they should NOT force any idea from any group on another. \nIt's basically becoming the U.S 2.0

The actual country of Canada is fine and quite vast and beautiful. However, since it is such a tiny market compared to the US, the pay is way too low, there are few well paying jobs and the cost of living is through the roof. So it is just unaffordable.

I was proud to be Canadian for the longest time, but ever since 2020 and the way all the provincial governments fell in line with the Trudeau government, and locked down the entire country. I’ve just been dying to move to the states. This country is broken, and subpar healthcare doesn’t make up for everything else being absolute horse shit.

This is my 13th year in Canada, I am so sad to see the change, I really hope it will become a better country again with Trudeau stepping down. But we also have to be fair that there are not many countries become better since COVID. Many of you leaving or planning to leave Canada are more like rich country retirees taking advantage of the wage and currency differences between rich and poor countries. So let’s put it this way, if many of you have not worked your whole life here in Canada, will you still have a quality of life in your home countries, such as Southeast Asia or South America? I doubt majority of the population there is make a good money and having great work life balance, and everyone there could afford a decent retirement life. what is more close to nowadays reality is people coming here and hoping they could have a better paid job and settle down here, but most of them found out they are struggling to even maintain their normal life in this country, so they left. For those who came years ago, they made a saving which may not be enough to support a good retirement life here, but is more than enough in other countries, they also choose to flee. Then those successful immigrants will stay here with the option to travel anywhere they want. My son's classmate's grandfather immigrated to Canada long time ago who later become a well known cardiologist and was rewarded as one of the top 25 immigrants Award, all three daughters are now specialists too. I really hope Canada could rise again!

I am 63 born and raised in Canada all my life and can honestly say that I have never been as embarrassed to be a Canadian since the pandemic where we let millions of immigrants come here take our jobs (with government subsidies) abuse of our free medicare system and have all their family members abuse it. They made housing unaffordable, impose their laws and religion and show total disrespect for Canadian culture. We lost this country to immigrants and corrupt government led by the worst PM in CDN history. Democracy has been replaced by a totalitarian state which has no respect for citizens rights...unless your an immigrant.

We are Belgian, living on Vancouver Island since 2000 and I do feel you, many good points and we are certainly considering the 'leaving' option. Portugal comes to mind cause we do mis 'real' people, as you mentioned, hard to make deep, long lasting friends. Here I learned that every moment, encounter and meeting is unique and so to are the people you get to know, they vanish if you don't keep up. Back to Europe, not back to Belgium.

The problem with healthcare in Canada is middle management.\n\nThere are like 3 managers for every doctor, 2 for every nurse.\n\nThen there is regular administration.\n\nCouple that with the public sector unions that represent ALL of them, and the system becomes geared to making itself bigger, and less efficient.\n\nWhether the public sector unions want to admit it or not, they have literally destroyed healthcare in this country.\n\nIt's all about the people that work in the industry now, and nothing to do with the patient, and THAT is the problem.\n\nIt's gotten even worse since Covid, now EVERYONE that works at a hospital is a ROCK STAR, so you can't say no to any of their demands anymore, or you're a monster that doesn't care about 'front line workers.'\n\nCanada has become a punchline.

1st - there is no more blockade. The moment israel has managed to create sufficient infrastructure to i spect incoming aid trucks (to make sure they are not smuggling weapons in) than there is zero blockade.\nThe bottleneck is from UN countries that can't or won't send enough aid.\n\n2nd. The palestinians already had their own land. In Gaza. They had their own Hamas government and policies and rules. \nThe problem is that they have been waging on-and-off war against a neighbouring country since 2007 with the goal to exterminate that other country, and now they went too far and lost. \n\nThis is the consequence of waging war on a far stronger coubtry - you lose and get effed.\n\nAnd most of their resident want this war to continue (according to polls. This is a very thoughtful and balanced review. As a retired Canadian who had a good job for most of my life, I'm saddened by the decline in almost all areas of life, lifestyle and and people's aspirations in this country. This decline actually seems quite rapid, I would say from 2015 onwards. Housing in major centres was expensive, but it has skyrocketed in the past decade. There has been a decline in many institutions: 1. health-care, especially noticeable since the pandemic that coincided with many boomer medical staff retiring, but also by our sclerotic institutions refusing to enable foreign-trained doctors to work here. Many foreign-trained doctors in the Vancouver area are doing jobs way below their qualifications while many people cannot even get a family doctor. Crazy. Econonically, there seems to have been no plan at all from the government as we exited the pandemic. At least the US had a plan, to 'build back better'. Our government just floats along as if everything is fine, when the decline is very visible especially to older Canadians. We have admitted 1/2 a million people a year from overseas, so our economy should reflect this and show an upswing. But no, we're in a 'technical recession' as of December and probably a real recession as of last week. I have never voted Conservative in my life, but Trudeau is a flaky dimwit with a famous name who has no clue what he is doing. A fool, in fact. He's mismanaged our foreign relations beyond belief, and nothing has improved domestically. When Pierre Poilievre says 'Canada is broken', I believe it. We deserve much better leadership; in Canada's case, the rot does come from the top. Justin the entitled idiot is much more like his mother than his father.\n\nLong rant. I visit Canada regularly since the late 90th. I saw a steady decline in the last years. Get rid of Trudeau and his bad politics. The sad thing is that this happens to many western countries. Currently I live in Germany. The loss of wealth and confidence due to damage done to the economy by the current government is mind blowing. People are angry. Visiting the Netherlands, Britain, France - everywhere I go in the west it’s the same. People are fed up of leftwing ideology, identity politics and high taxes.\nThe west needs to wake up. \nPeople are leaving for other places.\n\nIf one is good in his job, one can live a good life in many places. I want to give a different perspective. I'm from Singapore. My entire family was here and they have moved back. My sister moved back first because my British brother in law could not take the cold. My brother moved back because he wanted to make money and be rich. My parents moved back to be close to their grandkids. But no way will I move back. Constant heat strokes from the weather, materialistic and shallow people, preference given to married people and families, lack of hinterland and nature, lack of winter sports, and poor LGBTQ+ rights. I have not lived in Singapore since I was 18 and I am also childfree, with no intention of raising a family, only travel locally, and am not into the acquisition of commercial goods for gratification. I love going on roadtrips and skiing every winter and playing hockey year round. I like that I can marry who I love here and can acquire a home without needing to be married. I understand how people who want to make money and raise families would see the brighter side of other countries, but Canada, despite its flaws, is my brighter side.

Lots of people living Canada I think 40-50.000 every Year since 2022. Cost of living, inflation, growing poverty, cost of food, Canadian HOC not capable of making any right decision for the country.

Glad to hear we continue to maintain a non-“Islamic environment” since this is a secular country and that is the objective.

Little off topic observation but its strange that you say you are an extreme introvert yet on video you seem super confident and outgoing. Whereas I would describe myself as the opposite, extremely social and extroverted yet too shy to film myself talking...I would stutter and be really uncomfortable.\n\nOn topic, yes we have become cold to outsiders and I think you are correct in that the climate of political correctness has essentially choked any kind of openness as we have been taught since multiculturalism was made state policy to never ask certain questions or we are racist so to er on the side of safety we just don't say anything to newcomers anymore. That would be for the young demographic of Canadians but for older Canadians it is more due to resentment and anger, the reasons you list for wanting to leave Canada have all been caused BY immigration into Canada at such high rates and so older Canadians whom never voted for these changes to our immigration policies and whose voices never get heard are mad, mad their parents were able to buy a home in Vancouver for $50k with a basic blue collar job 2 generations ago now the same house is $3 million dollars. Or that we can no longer communicate with our neighbours because non of them speak english well or that we are constantly being called racist either by implication or outright by our media, academia and government. Or that our parents were able to afford university with zero debt afterwards now you leave with $100k+ in debt and the classrooms are 80% foreigner. Our the hundreds of thousands of Canadians who have been pushed into living in tents because sky high immigration has made their home town unaffordable etc Their anger is misdirected I know that, but it is understandable and will get worse. The future for Canada now is probably breaking into small countries because diversity has no future.

Where you guys are going to move?.okay for people who are immigrants can move back to their countries but how about people who are here since 4th and 5th generations and where they going to move?

As an atheist I wish you all the best, it's true the political games destroying the West from within. Though I'm on the side of LGBT and i believe that they should have rights like everyone else, at the same time I understand that some extreme ideologies can go and push so far and I agree that let kids be kids. My only concern is that Islamic countries do not have any rights for LGBT people at all, in fact, they are being prosecuted based on religion since religion is basically the law. I guess only time will tell if you made the right choice, I can not recommend any country this is something that you need to research deeply and make a decision for yourself.\nI'm in British Columbia, and my child had never experienced any drug queen library stories or anything like that, nor did teachers teach them anything without our consent, there is full transparency between teachers and parents.\nAt the same time, I'm just like you disproving collective punishment of Palestinian citizens, the atrocities are sickening and I couldn't believe that the United Nations is tiptoeing and not being proactive in defending Palestinian children, it's just unthinkable to me that it's happening in the 21st Century.

Typical Arab response in wanting NOTHING to do with the Palestinians. Since that’s the case, why should they become Israel’s problem? With nearly 60 countries, the Arabs can’t find a few square miles for them?
