Let me guess: affordability, high taxes, bureaucracy, inflation, too much red tape, not enough well paying jobs, etc. A country isn’t just land, air and water. It’s a civilization.

Post-secondary institutions are underfunded in Canada. The tuition they charge domestic students can’t offset their operating costs, so they have relied on international students, whose tuition they can make much higher, in order to cover the shortfall. Note that this is also exploitative of international students; don’t blame them, the system is not their fault. The government should provide more funding to post-secondary institutions if they want high quality and affordable education accessible to all Canadians. Cutting visas won’t change that, nor will scapegoating immigrants.

You can not even provide housing to your own citizens ; and you will be accepting illegals and asylum-seekers who can't be recognized as gangsters or just ordinary folks. ? Does Canada have jobs to offer ? And where will the government settle them in ? Our own people could hardly afford to feed their families, etc.

Interestingly enough, the clip where the girl is complaining about having the rent increased by $7000 is not Trudeau's fault (Liberal government) but Doug Ford's, who's Conservative and the premier (like a governor in the US) of Ontario. He removed the limits on rent increases on properties occupied for the first time after Nov 15 2018. So now, if you want make a few more bucks or just kick someone out just jack the rent so they can't afford it and have to leave (usually you can't just end a lease agreement because you want to but not anymore as you can just increase it to whatever you want). Limits exist for a reason unless you're at the top and want to make more without any regard to people that are struggling.\n\nWhat I'm trying to say is that I don't think the Conservatives will do better than the Liberals, they're just different flavours of garbage. We do need real change, unfortunately I don't think it will happen.

Ive lived in Winnipeg most my life. Vancouver for a time. It was too tough in vancouver but winnipeg has been very chill. Also as a diabetic I'm greatful for healthcare I only pay for around 20% of my meds. We've talked about moving somewhere where rent is cheaper, meds are cheap and groceries are affordable. But I've never found such place...I stay because the people here are amazingly empathetic, yet very strong. Its sad to have a liberal government that have conservative policies for the rich. Their children eat free school meals and get valuable education dollars afforded to them in order to teach ESL English, where we cut music and arts budgets to our own, while their children smell like their weed after they drop them off at school in America, from their Escalade with shiny rims and their last name in old English printed on their back window of the fancy car they paid for with cash money they made by loitering in parking lots, only willing to hide under the radar and do cash-only work so they can continue having children for families that we feed, house, insure, provide dental and orthodontic care, social support, as they suck our local food banks of stock and take our local christmas tree programs for presents for all their kids, then send their cash back to more people in their country or give it to cartels for bringing them here. It's been going on for decades, and we are tired and broke and struggling ourselves. People in general don’t understand, American themselves are struggling. Some worked 2-3 jobs to survive. The government cannot afford to provide housing, jobs and food. Even the American don’t get them easily. N they don’t know who is coming in the country plus there are escalated crimes and violence.

The truth is American people already made their division so democrats need to listen to them instead of lecturing them. Our society needs immigrant but our society resource is limited, we can’t accommodate every illegal immigrate without hurting our own communities, especially when so many American citizens are struggling for affordable house and increasing living cost and so many legal immigrants are waiting in the queue many years waiting the government to process their case.

Most immigrants don't want to be undocumented; the problem is the government nowadays makes it incredibly difficult to get a green card. It literally takes like ten years waiting even if one of your parents is already an American citizen. If you're broke, you can't afford to wait.
