For them, an experience that can make them money is a good experience. However, when I was in Canada no employers were willing to give me an interview because I immigrated to Canada from China with no Canadian experience. No matter what kind of insurance you have, you still have to deal with a stupid amount of red tape and bureaucracy just to get your care covered, and the drug prices are out of control. and you have no idea when that horrible health issue is going to happen to you. In Canada, I go to the doctor, I give my health card, done deal. The healthcare system in Ontario particularly is under attack and they're trying to privatize hospital care by underfunding everything else. But our premier is also a Conservative Trump Lite wannabe who is buddy buddy with a lot of rich folks.There are absolutely problems here, Canada is dysfunctional in a lot of ways. But I would NEVER move to the states, definitely not as a disabled/chronically ill woman. Hell no. Also--we're not THAT nice, Americans are always surprised at how much Canadians dislike the USA. My brother moved there but he's much more conservative than me (for Canada) and his job doesn't exist here in Canada.

The United States should be ashamed, we in the US shouldn't have to put up with illegals. You do t have time so move fast and be strategic.\n1. Constantly apply for jobs until you get an offer. Not all companies will employ you on tourist visa cos you don’t have LMIA. If you must, look for rural areas who lack workforce and are willing to employ people no matter their status.\n\n2. Asylum (this should be your last option, it’s not advisable cos it’s 50/50). If you’re rejected, you’ll be deported.\n\n3. Private colleges. These guys are willing to admit students cos they need students. Some even give instant admission.\nOnce you get admission, apply for a student visa. You can change the school later for a better school.\nIf you must, try to do your Medicaid and apply for study visa before your flight to Canada. \nThis way, you won’t be committing a crime and it’s easy to get the visa.

In the whole story, the 90% struggle seems to be from the wife.. doing bachelor's, masters, raising kids, giving ielts, extra tests etc all was done by the wife and husband was doing nothing other than making poor decisions. We have relatives who were in the same situation as accountants and they showed flexibility and moved to suburb and now have permanent residence. Also after coming to Canada they have not started any proper job rather living on child benefits and exploiting the system.

Yes, American citizens need to be taken care of first before we let any more people into the country, but let's keep thinking about this... Why are so many people trying to escape Venezuela? Could it possibly be the cripplingly sanctions the US has imposed on Venezuela for decades? There is no better example of how sanctions don't work and only make the population of the country suffer and not the leaders. Why are people trying to leave Mexico, which is a country where guns are 100% illegal? If you guessed violence from the drug cartels being one of the main reasons, good job. Now, why do drug cartels in Mexico even exist? To supply the gigantic appetite that Americans have. Where are the cartels getting their guns from? Once again the answer is Mexico. If you are someone saying Mexico needs to fix itself, just remember that they have the one of the worst neighbors ever. We have no problem giving Israel $3 billion every year and sending our military all over the world to bring democracy to people who never wanted it, but our neighbors to the south? Fuck em. War on drugs? Lol. That's a war America doesn't really want to win.

Also, total no. I love spending weekends in Boston, it's a great city with a good mix of sport and culture. I know some urban centers are more liberal, but as many mentioned I cannot live in a place that gives so much importance to guns, religion, moral conservatism and Marjorie Taylor Green. We do have nut jobs in Canadian politic, but nothing remotely close. Also, I did find an article from May 26, 2023 that said there were 200 mass shootings across the US so far this year. I also hate the culture war in the US where everything become political (like LGBT rights, climate change or even biking). Worst part is that I'm considered conservative in Canada. I understand that there are nice people everywhere, even in the bible belt, and I would enjoy sharing a BBQ with them, but do I really want to raise children around people that believe that the Bible is more important than human rights and women freedom of choice with their body?

I heard that American kids have practices at school for a live shooter ... nowhere else in the world has that. So many American's talk about the healthcare they get through their work, but what if you're boss starts treating you badly? A lot of people are doing jobs that they hate only because it gives them healthcare. You might want to start you're own business but you can't because you need the healthcare. And then there is the possibility that you like the healthcare you get through work, then you're boss gets a better deal on healthcare and changes providers. You have no say in that and you could loose some of you're benefits. You're health should not be a carrot that you're employers can dangle in front of you to control you.

This is sickening to see, i feel bad for those that came here the correct way and got their citizenship. McDonalds something most American people know …for one person only it can be around 15 - 20 bucks, in Venezuela, and I think minimum wage rn is around 6.15 bucks and if it’s good it can be around 20 - 30 A MONTH, now apply this formula to EVERYTHING, housing, bills, expenses and I think things in Venezuela for a little bit better not that long ago,so it was worst than what I just told you, imagine you finish college you have somehow of a decent life and for things you don’t understand and no one advise you of, next week your job, money is not even half of the value it had last week, imagine if it was you and your family, your kids…I don’t have kids but I know my mom would’ve done anything for trying and give me not even a luxurious life, but a kinda decent life, and I know most of people would’ve done the same, and not only for your kids, also your mom, dad, sisters, brothers and even YOURSELF…again, I’m not saying this is correct or it’s not I’m just saying at the end our surrounding make us do whatever we are doing….I get you not being okay with this, but try to be comprensible and not go straight into hate for this people. \n\nUnfortunately I wouldn’t imagine anything to solve this problem and I hope something better comes for the entire world right now …but I just doubt it…

All of these points are subjective. I think the point system you used and the subjects you talked about are biased. I would have given the USA a point for innovation and job opportunity. There is more opportunities, because more companies choose the USA. We have a higher population so even thought there is more job opportunities in the USA, it is also very competitive. Your video gave a point to Canada for vacation and maternity leave rather than innovation and job opportunities. A lawyer in the USA has a better chance of practicing law than a Canadian lawyer. You gave a point to Canada for healthcare because of life expectancy. However I’d still give a point to the USA for healthcare. The life expectancy is a separate subject. The life expectancy is lower in the USA because of what we eat here. I would give a point to Canada for healthier food. In the USA fatty diet with sugary sweets is common here.\n\nThe video was really pros and cons for liberals. As an American, I could make a list that is biased towards the USA. In Texas it’s hard enough to get a job if you’re not bilingual. And by bilingual I mean strictly English and Spanish. French, German any other language doesn’t matter if you can speak it. Latin here, I came here legally but I can tell you that it was difficult as hell for my mom to bring me here, it took money and years for that, but I want you as a fellow citizen to understand their situation first, in Latin America you could be graduation from college and even with that having a good job it’s difficult sometimes, unlike here education in Latin America is not always something that all people can get and every time they vote for someone it becomes more trashier, housing for the poor doesn’t even exist, half of the country is corrupt and going outside you don’t who you may find, my brother needs to wait 7 years to become a resident (not citizen) he will be 30 something at that point, what the government should do is make the residency easier and I can tell you something like this wouldn’t occur that easily, my mom is a lawyer in my country and I can tell you the situation wasn’t easy, every three times a week there would be shooting outside my house, drug dealer was my neighbor, and at the age of 15 there would parents of two kids the sad part all this is normal, stopping it is imposible because it gets you kill, the police will kill you for doing a peaceful protest just to stop feminicide, wanting your kid to go outside without being scare something would happen to them, this people want peace and a job that is it and when your own country doesn’t even give you the right for that how could you live? Latin America is like living in the worst state in U.S multiply by 1000 and happening the same thing every day, riots or protest are imposible there because you know the police will never go the peaceful way, what this people are doing is wrong but they just want to live, it even surprise how much people hate their president here when in Latin America there hasn’t been any good president in decades. Y’all r dumb, you say “let’s help the homeless in the US first” but really most homeless people here are LAZY, or drug addicts who don’t want to be helped. You say “let’s give jobs to the homeless in the US instead of immigrants” but who’s actually putting in that work and taking jobs? The Mexicans. I don’t see no American homeless people posted outside Home Depot lookin for a job.\n\nYes, there are many homeless people who have injuries or who need help getting access to jobs - it’s important we help them still but those who are willing to work hard and push will reap harvest just how it is. If you had kids, born and raised in Mexico would you stay? I wouldn’t.
