As a US citizen, I have to wonder, if pushing our Canadian brothers and sisters is the best choice. Have we forgotten that the Geneva Convention is basically a list of Canadas Military achievements?

First “They” say that US Tariffs will hurt the US Citizenry.\nSecond “They” seek to impose Tariffs ON the USA to hurt the US Citizenry (apparently NOT “hurting” Their Own Citizens?) \nThe USA has Specific Goals behind the tariffs (Border & Drug Control) do Mexico &/or Canada have Specific Goals as well?\n\nPersonally, I think if the US Citizenry backs down on outright Consumerism, We’ll find there’s a lot We Don’t (and Never) Needed.\nIf this version of “War” continues long enough, We will find that We can fulfill pretty much ALL of Our Own Needs … if not “Wants”.

Just so you know, these are the people us latino US citizens were trying to get away from. Drained our countries dry and now theyre here. Figure it out

I support Canadian, mexican and US citizens in these horrible decisions by Trump. You will feel the effects shortly, i will feel it in a couple of months. This is utter nonsense - all because of one old angry inidividual who only has a few years left on earth. We, the citizens, must have more say in our future than Mr Trumps anger in his elder days!

As a US citizen I can say as a member of the plurality in this country, I apologize. Our educational system has failed to have a positive impact on a rather large segment of voters.

This was the correct decision because the US wants bring jobs back to the USA. Jobs in Mexico vs USA trump will choose jobs in the US; Politely subsidized lumber from Canada vs lumber from the USA easy decision; Dairy from Oh' Canada , a short term squeeze. I'm a US dual citizen. I live abroad, in Asia, so I'm not affected but this is just so dismaying. There is utterly no reason for starting this chaos. The American people voted for Trump (who knows why) and thus chaos and suffering is what people get.

All this because the US cannot get it's fellow citizens and most vulnerable people the help they need with their addictions. No can do. Our own citizens can't find affordable housing, and struggle just to afford prescriptions and food. We sadly are in no position to bring in millions of dependents who can't even support themselves right now. I have a great idea: If you’re illegally in the US AND have worked, payed taxes, stayed out of trouble, and progressed, you automatically become a citizen.

you can’t a naturalized citizen in singapore if you aren’t singaporean even you kids were born there.. you can’t just enter singapore w/o any legal documents. you can work in singapore but you need a legal working permit but you can never be a singaporean citizen in span of 5 years.. it will take you 10-12 years of permanent residency status… and then in the US the media is feeding fear and changing the norm that yeah you can do those things in the US ? 3rd world country has more stricter rules than the US when it comes to legal immigration ?

Everyone needs to remember there is legal immigration and illegal immigration. President Trump’s wife is from Slovenia now a US citizen, while the Vice President Vance ‘s wife’s family would have originated from the Indian Sub Continent. American Nationality is a social construct you either qualify for it or you don’t. I don’t understand these individuals who enter a country illegally or legally and over stay the period stamped on their Passport. If you are stamped for 28 days you stay for no more than 28 days if on a 6 month visa you stay no longer than the visa. \n\nIt is what I would expert if I went to any other country, unless you are invading in the armed services of a country and you would be seen as an invader by that country, anyone who enters a country illegally or over stays their passport time is an invader and should be treated the same way and expelled.

Guess what! they fear because they know their actions were illegal. I get some citizens who have certain backgrounds being nervous but fear? No as they are already in the system and safe. But the criminals who took advantage of the US deserve to be deported. But, from my understanding ICE is so far only going after serious crime offenders such as drug, human trafficking, murder etc illegal aliens. It is culture shift but it is not only in the US. Europe, UK, Australia etc these all countries pulling back on illegals and mass migration.

I’ve always said, since Mexico can’t keep their citizens on their side and can’t provide a nice home/country for their own people, US should take down the border, buy Mexico and fix it up. One Big USA ! OR, BUY IT, FIX IT AND FLIP IT !

I think this is exactly what Trump is aiming for. To send a clear message out to anyone who plan to enter the US illegally should be afraid. Why would anyone want to go to a country where they have to continue to hide and live in fear? Its a great deterrent for those who still plan to come to the US illegally. Its better than the previous administration telling illegal to come and we will feed, cloth, and take care of your with health care at the expense are tax payer money. Trump should also cancel all hand outs to anyone who is not a legal immigrant in the US. We have enough problem with US citizens as it is.

The Venezuelan president completely ruined any chance for Venezuelans to become US citizens or get work visas due to his policy of emptying his jails and flying them under night to sanctuary cities and than having the nerve to not allow our ICE flights to land to re-patriot his own FELONS. My wife came to America from Russia over 20 years ago.. It took her 3 1/2 years to get approval to come to America legally… she’s now an American citizen.. it’s people like her that are livid over this mess. I’m sick of these bleeding heart liberals acting like we’re supposed to let everybody in because they want a better life…. Fix your own country. Don’t be a drain on us.
