There are enough trans athletes in the world and good enough shape to compete on a world in Olympic level and all the levels beneath those, that I'm going to say that if someone transitions who is already in the military and they can still pass all the requirements to remain in the military, they should be allowed to remain in the military. People with asthma can’t get into the military because they can’t meet the military requirements just like people with diabetes and other medical conditions. Mainly it’s because they will need medication which could keep them from preforming their jobs or not be combat ready/ trainable and put other military personnel at risk. A person that is a trans will be on medication for that transition and will need special care because of that. They should not be in the military just like anyone else with a medical condition. It’s that simple.
