It's not a threat it's a promise. They either treat us fairly or we can manufacture things ourselves. As far as illegal immigration CLOSE THE FREAKING BORDER.

My friend’s family migrated from Mexico in the 50s. I remember his grandmother talking about how progressive, fair, and prosperous the US was by comparison. Now, Mexico, it has its problems, seems more on the right path than US. Also, shout out to Canada. We’re neighbors and allies. Not adversaries.

Nice reporting like the delivery ? with that being said I think its fair to say they realize Trump is not playing!

Canada like many countries who came out fairly unscathed from COVID are facing the same dilemma, they didn't get the massive economical bounce back and the momentum that went with it like many countries who were devastated by COVID. If you look at the data between Canadian household income compared to the US, excluding the top ten percent since the US has much more income inequality than Canada, you will see that most Canadian are doing much better than their American neighbours. And on top of that, we have safer streets, healthcare, longer lifespan and better public education system. What we are missing is more leadership structuring our economy rather than completely being depended on the free market. They are managing the economy rather than facilitating more growth, none of the Canadian political parties seems to truly be engaged with that. We are not the US, we do not have the population to grow a service economy like they do, which has a compounding effect on their economy. We need a more focused approach to managing our resources, including human resource, which requires some planning on the economic side.

This is just absolutely AWFUL India MUST STAND UP FOR THEIR YOUTH and the FUTURE OF INDIA to regulate con-artists in your country in education and make INDIA MORE MODERN so that the GREATEST MINDS AROUND THE GLOBE will attend your universities. India sends out their best resources THEIR BRIGHTEST INTELLECTUALS to build up the infrastructure, medical and advancements of other nations. While their nation mostly traps their population into FALSE CASTE SYSTEMS & DUMB COLORISM to reach for FAIRE COMPLEXIONS. India, Africa and China are excellent of being Model Modest Over Achieving citizens that get treated Awfully in Britain, Australia and America. \nMy prayers are for you and your fight to fair education and the advancement of their home countries so that the next generation can enjoy these luxuries in their own land and not be sent away to Sharks to survive.

I live in Germany for about 6 years, moving from Bosnia and didnt have any of those problems mentioned, excluding the bureaucratic hurdels. Granted, i do speak German natively since ive spent my early childhood years here. To be fair i do think that learning the language of the nation you are moving to as fluently as possible should be a no brainer.\nWhat people arround the world need to understand is that European countries are NOT the USA. These are nations that exist for thousands of years with clear cultural parameters born out of centuries of strugle, war and hardship. These are strongly embeded into the minds of the people living here. The jist of it is that Europeans have known this for a long time, literally knowing ´´what the others are like´´. So its much easier to adapt. Of course it helps that most European countries have simmilar religious and social values.

Its only fair that internationals students and economic migrants leave when they comprise the majority of the people who were wrongfully brought to Canada and who are putting the most strain on infrastructure and services and housing.\n\nIt's not fair to the people who are multi-generational lineage to have their quality of life disrupted for people who should never have been brought to Canada and especially in such numbers.\n\nLeftists ruin nations, thankfully Canada is figuring this out before it's too late.

These people across the United States border with a fair. Do you actually think they're going to fear Justin Trudeau's and The RCMP baggage boys? It's all scripted folks and these people were meant to end up in Canada

Shes awesome! Its not fair to her to take the right route to citizenship while thousands are here illegally
2024-11-19 2
Like why us, this pisses me off to watch, we’re more educated than these people but they won’t give us good jobs, they only give us the jobs that they don’t want to do and we still get treated like this, it’s not fair man

I have cousins who are illegal immigrants, I’ve been trying to sponsor my wife to come here legally and it has been the most dreadful process I’ve ever been through. Meanwhile these guys are here already receiving food stamps and housing. I make 220k a year. I pay my fair share in taxes and don’t need any government assistance. I’m definitely for returning illegals that are jamming the immigration system.
2024-11-18 0
We don't need scared truck drivers, driving in the center of the road because they are afraid of the shoulder. Not fair for the people who are born here.
2024-11-18 0
I wish all immigrants left US and wait until they start to starve as no food is picked. And stay out until America begs for them to come back and treated fairly.

Besides distinguishing between legal amd illegal immigration, it would be good to know the numbers behind the types of undocumented immigrants. Many of these 11 million plus people actually belong here in the US, such as the Haitians and the Deeamers (which y'all neglected to mention). But if your asylum claim has been rejected or if you've overstayed your visa (which accounts for many), then deportation is fair. But we need a grand compromise. A path to citizenship for Dreamers and people who are under special arrangements (again, like the Haitians), deportations for most others, with a new visa regime for people who have been working in parts of the economy that - to be blunt - Americans won't.\n\nAlso, most of the people here without proper documents are Mexican. And most came through Mexico. AMLO let that happen. Sheinbaum is going to need to address that. Many Mexicans are also greatly unhappy with what's been going on for the last few years.

I’m not a crazy Trumper when I say this, but IMO you all should put a retraction or correction. I come to TLDR for fair and unbaised news. But the confusing of “illegal immigration” and “immigration” misleads people to believe that Trump is against ALL forms of immigration, which no one believes.\n\nTLDR, if you don’t think it is misleading, then I think you all should work on communication. You need to provide more context or argument in this video about how Trump is against all immigration.
2024-11-18 0
Every major US city is struggling to budget for illegal immigrants. This is why trump has done so well in cities, poorer Americans find themselves in direct competition with illegal immigrants for government resources. If you looked at figures like the number of encounters at the southern border and the amount spent on illegal immigrants this would make it obvious why Americans are upset. Instead you just paint poor Americans as xenophobic and don't even give that view a fair representation. Classic elitist bias.

And this is what we call, a ladder puller. Now that she was able to become a citizen, rather than helping her family members to get their legal status, which can be difficult, tedious and very expensive, she could care less if the lives they have already spent decades on building here are completely destroyed. She seems to be fully aware that it can be a difficult process, and I personally have seen that it’s not exactly a fair one either. I have seen some people spend not only years waiting on a hearing or a determination, but spend thousands they scrape together on lawyers and obtaining records, while others submit minimal evidence and get a determination in weeks. Instead of admitting that there are problems with the system and vote for people who are actually trying to help, she wants the same system that made it a difficult process for her to stay the same for them. In fact she voted for someone who is going to make it harder if not impossible for them to come back the right way in the first place. Is she not thinking? If they get deported, that is going into immigration records and when that gets pulled up when they apply to come back it will likely cause any legally efforts to return to be rejected. And who knows how long that will stay in their system? Could be years, could be permanent. Biden’s idea to help those undocumented who are married to citizens to be able to apply and get a temporary visa to stay here while they wait so that families wouldn’t have to be broken up by having the applicant return to their country of origin. That was not just a great idea from a humanitarian point, but they could apply for a job that wasn’t going to take advantage of them by paying below minimum wage, with no rights if they are injured. That could help bring local wages up. They would start contributing back by paying their fair share of taxes, and do on. Republicans in red states stopped it though and are suing the Biden administration for trying to do what? Help people and fix some of the issues that our broken immigration system has caused? \nSorry lady, but you earned your family’s ire and whatever treatment you get from the administration you voted for.

Should someone who has been of good conduct the past 20 to 30 years though an undocumented citizen be treated the same as someone who has a criminal record. Is that fair?

She does not understand how the system works. She thinks it is fair because it worked for her. She should be looking into the situation.

The whole network African diaspora cannot be taken seriously. Even Africans in Africa bear a share of the responsibility; they were not innocent in the transatlantic slave trade but rather acted as accomplices by selling their people into slavery. Those African traitors have harboured resentment toward Haitians, likely because Haitian warriors put an end to the nonsensical enslavement propagated by both European and African participants. Ironically, Black Americans and others often overlook the lesson of unity taught by Haitian liberators. Haiti sacrificed greatly, aiming to protect humanity, yet the world turned its back, leaving Haiti to bear the consequences of Western exploitation and punishment itself. All Haiti has ever sought was to establish fair business relations, yet, understandably, Western countries may be reluctant. However, for Black people, Hispanics, Africans, and other marginalized groups—what is your excuse? The continued grievances about mistreatment under white supremacy ring hollow when we see a lack of solidarity among themselves. Perhaps, in that light, some would argue that the hardships from white supremacy are no less than deserved. Long live the Haitian revolution of 1804, a date of humanity’s liberation.

Like the Mexican Government, the Cartels Have a Vested Interest in Managing the Flow of Migrants \nr \nFAIR Take | November 2024 \n \nIn the closing months before the U.S. elections, the number of encounters of illegal aliens entering the U.S. has declined significantly. This September, 144,666 such encounters were recorded, down from 370,883 in December 2023. Everything is relative, of course. The September 2024 figures were still huge by historical standards, and nearly five times greater than the number of encounters Jeh Johnson, Homeland Security Secretary under President Obama, said would constitute a crisis. \n \nAs FAIR has reported, the Biden-Harris administration deserves very little credit for decline in border encounters since last December. Rather, the administration cut a deal with the government of Mexico to impede the flow of migrants heading north, as the elections approached. Overt action on the part of the Biden-Harris administration would have enraged the political base of President Biden and Vice President Harris, so, earlier this year, the administration essentially outsourced the job to the outgoing administration of Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (who left office on Oct. 1).\n\nSOURCE, FAIR US org

under the Biden-Harris administration, business has been very good for the cartels. Wide open borders and catch-and-release policies have convinced migrants that there is a strong probability that coming to the United States illegally will pay off. As a result, record numbers of migrants have decided to take the trek, and if need be, pay money to the cartels. By the Department of Homeland Security’s own reckoning, upwards of 80 percent of them engage smugglers to get them into the U.S. because the journey itself is inherently dangerous, and because these criminal syndicates do not deal kindly with migrants who don’t pay for their services. \n \nAccording to the Washington Post, “With revenue estimated at $4 billion to $12 billion a year, the smuggling of migrants has joined drugs and extortion as a top income stream for groups like Mexico’s Sinaloa and Jalisco cartels, increasing their economic clout throughout the hemisphere.” In other words, the cartels have a vested interest in maintaining that sort of revenue flow. If keeping a lid on things in the months leading up to an election that will determine the sort of border and immigration policies the United States has for the next four years, they may see slowing the flow as a prudent business decision. From the perspective of the cartels, a U.S. administration that releases or paroles in the majority of migrants encountered at our borders, and issues them work authorization documents, is likely to provide them with a steady stream of customers for their services.\n\nSOURCE, FAIR US org

ICE Acknowledges that 647,000 Aliens with Criminal Charges or Convictions are Roaming Freely in the U.S. \n \nFAIR Take | September 2024 \n \nIn a letter released Friday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) acknowledged that 425,000 aliens released into the U.S. have criminal convictions and another 222,000 aliens have criminal charges pending. The letter, written by acting ICE Director Patrick Lechleitner, was released by Texas Congressman Tony Gonzales, who received it in response to requests for information he sent the agency six months ago. \n \nThe criminal aliens that Director Lechleitner referred to in his letter – the vast majority of whom are in the country illegally – are on ICE’s non-detained docket. That simply means even though the aliens are deportable, they were released into the U.S. (either by Customs and Border Protection or ICE) while their cases are pending. Their cases may be resolved in several ways, such as being approved for asylum or receiving a final order of removal by an immigration judge. However, until their cases are resolved, ICE tracks these non-detained aliens. The number of aliens on ICE’s non-detained docket has tripled since Fiscal Year (FY) 2018, growing from 2.6 million to 7.4 million in FY 2024. \n \nIn the letter sent to Rep. Gonzales, ICE made several shocking admissions about aliens released into the U.S. as part of the non-detained docket. Over 13,000 aliens have convictions for murder. Another 15,000 have convictions for sexual assault. If that weren’t bad enough, ICE’s letter contained even more detail: 56,000 aliens on the non-detained docket have convictions related to dangerous drugs, 62,000 have convictions for assault; 18,000 have convictions for larceny (theft); 14,000 have convictions for burglary; 13,000 have convictions for weapons offenses, and 2,500 have convictions for kidnapping.\nSOURCE, FAIR US org

Sounds like she got into the USA fairly easily, and it has facilitated a sense of superiority and entitlement

Are we talking about a mass deportation of people who came into this country illegally? The funding and the resources are the problems. Trump is not going to be able to deport as many as he proposes. If some of them have been here and started an American-born family, then they should get special consideration, but if it's decided they get deported it's really not the fault of the government, it solely rests on the shoulders of those who come in our country and break our laws. If the idea is to become an American Citizen breaking the law is not the first thing to do to swear allegiance. It's confusing. My hope is that we get this issue behind us with fairness and compassion, without sending the message that you can just come here without due process.

If your not an immigrant it maybe difficult for you to understand this but the immigrants who did it correctly and spent 10-15 years in line believe in fairness and opportunity the RIGHT way! Our current system is broken and it needs to be fixed, that's a bipartisan issue. Educate yourselves about what's actually happening with asylum seekers before making uninformed comments about topics you don't fully understand.

Ya because immigration is like a super fair process that never gets disrupted or becomes ridiculously difficult and expensive.

The Republican Party is a terrorist organization. The goal is cruelty. \nTrump will destroy America. \nThey gave him the green light to do whatever they want. Well, 25% of the country are racists who elected a rapist. So, this all seems fair right?

Oh well they gotta go it ain’t fair what Democrats have done to us Americans. Now it’s our Turn but like he said they gotta come back in Legally

This is what voting liberal gets you. High crime, high prices, homeless everywhere, sanctuary city, courts are a revolving door, open use of hardcore drugs in actually encouraged thru drug injection sites,, irresponsibly high immigration…all combine to make Toronto a pretty horrible / dangerous city. While I still own property in Toronto, I spend very little time in the city these days. On the bright side, Trudeau will be gone fairly soon…and Trump and Pierre will work well together.

WHY is CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, so against sending illegals back to their country. Especially illegals that commit crimes! all Illegals are criminal. Not fair to those who abide by our laws and come in legally.
2024-11-09 0
As a law enforcement officer it’s so many immigrants we don’t know what to do. Plus some commit crimes and we have no information on them. Plus the drugs trade has increase. Right now America need to focus on Americans even if it a pretty penny. It’s people in other countries waited years to come to America it’s not fair.

The goal of the orange turd and his cult enablers in office should be to do what's best for the entire country in the way of strengthening the economy, creating jobs, reducing inflation, making the rich abd corporations pay their fair share of taxes, and controlling guns. But, as usual, they are still chasing headlines for a problem that is largely nonexistent. In doing so, they will destroy the economy, even more than they have already.
2024-11-09 0
This is why you should not watch CNN or any of the legacy media. These people don’t have a clue. They distort the facts, they are hypocrites on their policies . They don’t want fair and equal justice. They are ok with corrupt government and elections, high crime, high taxes, high inflation. They love the deep state and they are terrible liars.

Anyone reading this that is planning on crossing the border. I'm gonna be frank with ya. Aside from the fact that you probably shouldn't be trying to circumvent our laws just to avoid a situation you don't like in the USA right now... you also shouldn't be trying to cross our border in what is becoming our winter season. \n\nThere are plenty who try, and many do meet a grim fate due to the elements they are just not prepared for. And even if you think you can do it, or prepare enough to do it, you still shouldn't. There isn't much you can do when you have fallen into one of the many sloughs that hide beneath the snow and ice during winter, waiting to make you a popsicle. And if you get out of that, you still have to somehow get warm again. But let's say you avoid that, what then? Well, we have these really cold biting winds that make the -30 temps feel like -40 or worse. But you came prepared, so let's say you can handle that for a bit. Well, you sweat. You will get damp, then wet, over time. Then your fancy clothing doesn't do much for you anymore. Ya dig?\n\nOh but wait, there's more. So we have this wildlife eh', and it likes to do this thing that wild life does... and it eats you. Coyotes are one such kind of wildlife. Bears are another. Both are prolific in certain areas, all the way down to the border in some cases. \n\nGranted, coyotes usually aren't a huge problem for us up here, but that's cause we know how to deal with them usually. Bears are another issue, that even we have problems with at times. You'll probably run into a black bear if you run into one. Grizzlies tend to be further north and to the west. You're gone too far somehow if you find Polar bears. \n\nThere are other critters to mention, but they're more active in the summer, like rattle snakes. (Yes, we have them)\n\nOkay, so you got past the border, and you actually somehow managed to survive the winter temps in your trek to some sort of civilization. Now you have to somehow find a place to live. This is of course assuming you decided to try to bypass all our border security of course. You could go to an embassy and declare asylum I guess. But right now, you're more likely to be given a ticket back to where you came from initially. So that's not something in the game plan for you. What then?\n\nWelcome to being homeless. Oh, and you're still having to deal with our winter temperatures. \n\nSuffice to say, right now is not a good time to be trying to ignore our laws just to do whatever you want. Consider this a fair warning, as this about all the F's I have to give over it all in regards to your safety. I just am dismayed that some of you mouth breathers are going to get your kids harmed because of it all as well.

Immigration is a privilege, not a right. Legal immigrants have earned that privilege. Genuine refugees deserve a fair chance at getting that privilege too. Illegal immigrants switching between countries pretending to be refugees don't qualify. These are the same people who went to the US illegally in the first place, then hope to come to Canada illegally when it's bad in the US, and then will return to the US illegally when things will get better there.
2024-11-09 0
Deport them. It’s not fair to the migrants that came here LEGALLY and work their fingers to the bone for a better life while these people get handouts.
