So many people disconnected with the fact that while not all illegal citizens commit crimes, some of the ones who do aren't being held accountable. I have a house behind me that was defunct and the owner purchased it about 4 years prior with an intent of demolishing it and building a new home. It is only now - 4 years later - that they are finally allowed to build, since the city and other people around stopped them through permitting applications countless times. The only thing I had to say about it was that if the construction causes direct damage to my property - then pay for it; if not, then I should have no say in this at all.
