Western Canadian here. Our current liberal government opened immigration to bizarre levels over the last several years I believe to get more liberal voters. Our country is in a bad way and don’t blame Trump for clamping down. Trudeau and now Carney are quite happy to keep the WEF plan going. Hopefully we get a common sense conservative government in Canada soon !

I used to think Pres. Trump was being too hard on Canada then I got a look at the tariffs they impose on our goods. Some as high as 250%. I think Trump just wants a level playing field and a lot of help from Canada on the border. I think Poilievre feels the need to talk tough in response but I think he really wants the same things as Trump. I hope Poilievre becomes PM because he's conservative and I think he'll work well with Trump as they're both conservative nationalists.

When I go to the hospital in Canada I don't have to wait if people think that then they're wrong and then I get treated and don't pay a thing so I hope Americans understand that they pay thousands of dollars for healthcare that most Canadians can walk in and get for free,, yes it comes off our taxes but everybody in the country taste those taxes even if they don't use Healthcare so it helps people that are really in need

Just within the past two weeks FEMA spent over $500 million to provide luxury hotels for illegal immigrants yet a few weeks ago they were still claiming that they didn’t have enough money to help American citizens who suffered catastrophic loss during recent hurricanes and wildfires. The simple fact that Democrats got more upset that Elon Musk bought Twitter than they are, that their own political party in government for the past four years, has literally been holding them at gunpoint and forcing them to pay taxes so that they could steal it or launder it into their own campaigns and pockets is literally disturbing! WTF!!!! If any of those other federal agencies are ran or funded the way U.S. AID were, with the massive corruption, misappropriation, fraud and theft of taxpayer funds, then I hope DODGE goes through an completely audits, every single federal agency in the United States. I have spent quite a bit of time in USA and I always find my experience split. For the most part the people and places are great. As a filmmaker I have shot in NYC, California, Mississippi to name a few. The people were always accommodating and friendly. One time a gentlemen and his wife that allowed us to film in his property would bring us hot chocolate at night, then offered to shoot anyone who got in our way. I was also filming in the desert in 2009 and I almost got shot in the face by a group of police officers that charged in guns out and tempers raging, before realizing that we had film permits and were scheduled to be on site. Only to have the crew say that if I was black they would have shot first and asked questions later. As tensions rise between Canada and USA with Trump's trade war and attempt to ANNEX Canada I think I will do my filming in other parts of the world, if not in Canada. I have plenty of American friends and know a lot of Canadians that live in the US. I just hope things settle between our two nations soon. Where do you live? Interested to see what part of the States you live in.

I dont think Canadians understand that 3 of our states have bigger economies alone than Canada does. This will end very bad for Canada the longer it goes.
