That's how you get the deals you desire.\n\n5. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects you from discrimination by age, sex, race, etc. DEI openly violates this. What I don’t get is America isn’t against immigrants coming to America (the legal way) but people want to protest coming here illegally and are upset people are getting deported because they didn’t come the legal way. I work with a ton of guys that came to America the legal way and are all for deporting the illegals back to where they came from. The legal immigrants work hard and pay taxes and illegals don’t pay taxes they get benefits and haven’t paid their dues like the legal immigrants had to do to get in. Taking care of illegals takes away from Americans getting the help they need and we have to pay taxes. If they built America and are so proud to be from Mexico then why don’t you build Mexico up like you say you did in America. If it’s so great why are you coming to America illegally and running from your country. I've been to the states many times! My opinion is that Americans focus on wallets more than social issues! Americans care more about their own circumstances than working together to help the whole of the population. No one likes to pay more taxes but they are a nessesary evil to be able to pay for health care, public security, and so on! So sure Americans don't pay as much for some things but pay more for things that they shouldn't pay! Health care is something that is very important, how can you be expected to pay for health services if you can't work cause you're ill, doesn't make any sence! Even Americans leave thier country because of what it's becoming! 50- 100 years ago everyone wanted to immigrate to America or Canada, now a days everyone is immigrating here to Canada. Should I have to explain why! It's sad but the U.S.A isn't what it used to be. Mostly because of corporate greed and the influence it has on the gouvernment! Just look at how Trump is running things. A country isn't a bussiness, it's a people, without the people a country is nothing. Too bad Trump and his billionaire butt licking friends can't see that!

The reality of the situation is that while Canada’s retaliatory tariffs will hurt the US a little, Trump’s tariffs hurt Canada a lot! Right now we’re in a moment where Canadian politicians of all stripes need to placate the public’s demand for retaliation, however no matter who the next PM is, they will quickly and quietly be working to undo whatever factors led to this situation. That will mean acquiescing to Trump’s border demands among other concessions. One would be forgiven for thinking Trudeau should have just gone along with them in the first place and spared Canada the pain.

Not wise! \n\nFor some odd reason, Trudeau thought it was also wise to mock the American President, Donald Trump, with other European leaders while attending a meeting in the UK at Buckingham Palace, which clearly invited bad blood between the two. Not to mention his missteps while traveling in Europe and meeting with Kamala. He also increasingly chose to snuggle up to China. However, America has provided Canada with favorable trading relations and high-cost subsidies in the form of military and territorial security for decades. That clearly was a slap in the face and wasn't very smart! You had to figure some American president would ultimately say enough!\n\nAmerica has supported, defended, and offset the national defense costs of European nations for over seventy years, while EU countries and their leaders have routinely mocked and ridiculed Americans. Is it really classy to slap the face of someone who protects and supports you and your quality of life? No, it's not! Tariffs on EU products are likely coming soon, and reduced defensive support for Europe means they will have to pay more taxes for their defense and goods.

As an American, I welcome all countries being threaten by Trump and his version of America to fight back. Arguing and reasoning with the other half of America isn't working for us. But maybe, a reality check by hurting their wallets will. Do it--don't hold back. Don't bow down to this wannabe dictator. The other half of America can survive--those who voted for Trump will not.

For God's sake, just leave the U.S. alone and support them as they wish. I'm tired of world leader whinning about Trump. It's a new world now, and let's accept the change and work with each other who we can, how we can.

Let Trudeau stay if Canadians are so proud of him. Trump is bringing back conservatism, resilience, hard work and merits back into US culture. And its no doubt conservative people can bear hardship far much more than woke people.\n1 week into the tarrifs when the reality hits hard, Canada would be on the streets. Negotiate before the tarrifs kick off... This fight would be counter productive for both sides, but Canada would suffer 10 times more.

Do these fools really think that Americans who voted Trump in, were not ready for this. This is the working class, we fix things, and make things work, and not just buy new things. We stay out of financialization. The run of the mill Trump supporter is smarter than Trudeau.
