Deportation at the point of entry isn’t peculiar to Canada alone. It happens at every airport in the world including Nigeria. Also, immigration officials are authorized to query your purpose of visiting the country. Be prepared to answer all/any questions at the point of entry if you are asked questions.

As a Canadian born here, I think the foreign students are the tip of the iceberg. We also have to consider people that came in, and still do illegally including a criminal element. We also have a weak government that brings in folks from war torn countries, and they are not always that countries best people. Look at the Palestinian situation right now, where Most other Arab countries do not want these people entering their countries. We have to ask ourselves why that is, and is it good for Canada to bring in people where the entire Arab world says Nope! I think the entire situation in Israel and Gaza is terrible, and at the same time with some groups even the Children are raised to Hate and or be Violent. So if we are bringing in people who Hate and Support a terrorist organization, we can pretty much guess what’s going to happen inside Canada. In fact we are already seeing the hate and division. They can’t figure out this is NOT Israel, and there are no wars in Canada currently. However if they continue down this path of Hate and violence, Canada could become another battle ground. Including some of these groups who have beef’s back in their own countries! If your hell bent on war, go back and defend your own country, and don’t try that crap in Canada.

My girlfriend has been living in canada illegal for the las 15 yrs. She was deported 10 yrs ago for working with someone else's S.I. N. after immigration was called. Immigration told my company that the only way she was able to stay at my company if they were able to pay her cash. 17 yrs later and she works for the same company for cash. Tax free. I go with her, and others to bodegas in Toronto where they cash all cheques in the back room at the end of the bodegas. No questions asked. The reason Immigration was called was because the S.I.N she was caught with had $10.000 thousand unpaid taxes over the years. And the person that let her use her card for $300 each month needed the card to go on welfare. No one had to pay the taxes. My company today is 90% illegal workers. All in hotels all over Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga you name it.

You have no idea how silly everything is in the job market. I am a computing / finance professional who is looking to switch to a new job. The first question they ask is whether I speak Punjabi? Of course, I don't! Then they tell me to find a new job. My friend who applied to Walmart got rejected because he doesn't speak Punjabi. My friend's son is trying to get a summer job at KFC but the Indian manager wont hire him because he is not Indian!!! We Canadians want to work but can't find work because they wont hire us. There is no skill shortage in Canada, just selective employers who only hire people on student permits and work visas.

International students and other immigrants contribute greatly to Canada’s economy. The government knows that that's why they were asking for so many immigrants to come here. How come one minute they had a goal 1.5 million immigrants then the next minute immigrants are the problem? Theyre just using immigrants as a scape goat instead of fixing the housing problem. Immigrants work very hard and pay a lot of taxes and the international students pay 4 times the tuition as Canadians so they are boosting the economy. Maybe the Canadians living on welfare are the ones who should leave because they are not contributing to the country.

So I checked the Canada Immigration page and this is definitely federal liberal government created problem. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. Never comment on someone's weight. I have had several people from other cultures think that is OK. Also, never ever ask or assume a woman is pregnant. Even if you are helping her deliver the baby never mention it. I was a little bloated once and a new Canadian thought it was sweet to mention that it is exciting to see my little baby bump showing. Once you land in Canada you are protected by Canadian law and international law on immigrants . A visa officer will not warn you of overstaying your visa (if you overstay you won’t be granted visa next time) no officer will tell you that. That’s not their job. South Asian Indians are fourth generation Canadians and are educated, successful and have assimilated with the European culture. Most people coming to Brampton don't even know how to communicate in English. I would like to share a true story that happened to me. Hi True North, I'm from India not in Canada ?. if they were promised to give PGWP after course completion and they received that and now they are asking for further extension then yes send them back. But if the PGWP was not even granted to them in the first place then it's a scam, the Canadian government has to give what was promised. They contributed to your economy in dollars (which is not easy if someone is coming from India) they deserve to earn in dollars as well. Also, some students took loans as well . As a migrant to Canada my wife and I were required to meet the criteria that included; having relevant qualifications and work experience, money to support ourselves and three children, fluent in English &/or French (actually asked this as proof), medically fit and no criminal record, plus around $5000 landing fee. Within two days of landing I secured a job working for an electrical contractor. \n\nIf you want to come to Canada follow the process and meet the criteria. It’s only fair to those that will qualify and in the future.
