Consequences? I think Canadians are suffering the consequences of failed leadership just as we have here in the US. With the election of Donald Trump it's perfectly clear that the policies have changed here in the US. I wouldn't be too worried about the future of either countries at this stage. I predict by this time next year there we still be lights in my home, gas in my car, food on my table, and love in my heart for my Canadian brothers and sisters to the north. Future looks Bright! :)

Like it or NOT, We ought LOTS to the Canadian and Mexican government. We have been eating a LOT of Good food that Gets imported from Mexico, and CANADA has helped Us in So MANY OTHER WAYS.

It would be great if they have less children so it would increase the quality of living for the poor kids. Too many children and not enough food, clothers, education and so on.

The drugs problem in the US is only the problem of the US. If there would be no consumption, there would be no drug smuggling. It’s like alcoholics blame their addiction to liquor stores and obese people food stores. The main question is why in the US so many people have such a bad life that they only can take it under drugs? It’s always easier to blame others for own failures.

It's not just all the parties supporting Canada's counter tariffs. The Canadian people are in support, across political, cultural, economic and geographical lines. Canada has not been as unified about anything that I can remember (and I'm old). Plus, Canadians are a stubborn people with a more community oriented attitude than the USA and we don't like bullies. If we have to change brands of food, stop drinking bourbon and American beer, pay a bit more, even pay more taxes to cover the costs for people affected... so be it. BUT... when the tariff's are lifted, don't be so sure we'll just start buying American again. Stubborn also means we don't let things go easily.

Only US thing i consume are digital services. American cars are junk, no better than chinese brands like jac or MG, american food is just processed junk, so i rarely ate it, but no more. \n\nCancelled Netflix, HBO and amazon primer for different reasons each (and most of them is because they don't work in UAe and expect me tonpay twice ????).\n\n I'm thinking about shifting to linux, but i would still be usinh google apps like YT and my phone. \n\nI have been doing my part since a while ago as american goods and services are overpriced for low quality

Canada should stop all can food and alcohol and meats, and frozen meats ship into Canada.

Canada and Mexico should trade only with each other ???. that will be the result of whats happening. Mexico can grow more foods than america and Canada can provide everything that the US does.

No can do. Our own citizens can't find affordable housing, and struggle just to afford prescriptions and food. We sadly are in no position to bring in millions of dependents who can't even support themselves right now. They cross 7 countries to shop for the best country with the best benefits near them hence the U.S. Biden messed the U.S. big time by giving them each thousands each in an EBT card to buy their own food cuz they complained about the free food we provided and therefore they were given the money cards and free luxury hotels for housing, free medical, etc. So their people contacted their people over there that we give free luxury 5 star hotel living and money cards over here, open border, etc. We had some at my apt. complex - broken glass in the pool, loud music way past midnight cuz they didn’t have to work -went on for about three years till they were finally evicted. You should know that tariffs will RAISE the cost of living not lower it. When Trump was asked about it by a reporter, he said tariff costs are passed along to consumers which may cause short term disruption. But then said he wasn’t concerned about disruption because we should understand. We can’t afford food and gas now. This POTUS has no brain!
