I am latino and i hate how people would rather risk dying to get to country where they are not wanted and will be discriminated against even if they did go through the system correctly. Why not use that courage/bravery to fight your countries tyranny. I would rather die in the country that i was born in then to fight for a country that is divided and very prejudice against others. Also it sucks that lot of latino migrants are usually from southern latin America and they will try to tie them to Mexicans. Most of these people arent Mexican and trust me Mexicans are also somewhat conservative and have tried to tell migrants to not try this.

How can you sharia law/courts. You live in a christian country abide by the laws. Muslims restrict woman's ives Accept or leave. Simple. No place to deny womens rights, no honor, killing or arranfed marriages. We Cannot ,live in a divided country?

As a Canadian moving to the U.S, I can tell you for sure that Canada is a divided country headed for economic ruin. We lose at everything, we cannot build projects without unbearable red tape, approve any energy projects or really provide any economic value at this point. Canada is the only First world country that is headed backwards towards third world country status. I love this country, it has all the raw ingredients (Great people, Fun culture, Endless resources to extract) and we still manage to fail at the federal level. Take it from a born and raised Canadian who is being forced out of my own country.

We have too big of government, too many regulations, too many taxes. Who would do business in Canada? Name a Canadian company other than shopify. Blackberry... Oh wait its dead. I recall in the 80's, transferring from the bus to the train was free in Canada... NY, the late 90's. No matter your ethnic group... there is a white person living in the same region as black and brown people. There is no divide. LGBT community were able to live free without fear, hand in hand. The fashion, extraordinary. Asian cuisine downtown, to die for. The tap water is that good cause of how proficiently Canada removes snow off the ground, unreal. Interestingly enough, much of LA's racial segregation can be be attributed to the city's reliance on cars. LA's vast freeway system was strategically designed to divide and separate certain neighborhoods from others. So let's say an individual grows up in one of these neighborhoods and for whatever reason, never gains immediate access to a vehicle.. that person can basically go their entire life without crossing over into another region of the city/ county... First things first I think you’re misunderstanding about what food deserts are in America food deserts are considered with poor neighborhoods. Don’t have quality grocery stores. Yeah, they might have fast food restaurants all around them, but everyone knows it is not healthy to eat that stuff every day the nearest quality grocery store could be 7 to 10 miles away and if you don’t have a car you’re SOL (shit outta luck) number two. segregated communities in America is done on purpose so that the ruling class can keep the masses divided this is how they stay on top you know the old saying goes divide and conquer they keep us apart, and they also have a strong branch of the government called media, which perpetrates, bad news more than they uphold good news especially when another race is involved in a crime hurting another race. Canada is rasicst as fuck and it cost a lot of money to live there in their big cities. It's only safe because you have no freedom. I would also say the big divide between English and French. In Ottawa, almost all the people in top government jobs are held by bilingual Quebecers who look down on ordinary Canadians. If you're an immigrant who plans to work for the federal government, and work really hard on your French, you still get discriminated on your accent on French.

Toronto however has the most fields meaning you can change your career without moving to another city like you do in any other city around the world.\n7. This video is spot on! My parents and I immigrated to Canada when I was in high school and I loved it at the time. My parents always complained about work and money and wanted to go back to India but I didn't understand why they were so negative. After I started working, I moved to the US to pursue more work opportunities and now I have been living here for the past 10 years. I always consider moving back to Canada since my family and friends are there. However, I don't see myself doing so for some of the reasons you mentioned in the video: high cost of living, overwhelmed health care, and the cities are a bit boring for living or traveling. The US is by no means perfect and has a lot of the same issues that Canada does (high cost of living, taxes, healthcare) and its own set of problems (crime, uneven school quality, political divides). However, for the time being it's a better fit for me which is why I continue to stay here. Ultimately I feel that everyone's experience is a bit different and they have to go through their own priorities to figure out if a move to Canada makes sense. This video is super helpful in providing context for people who are considering moving though!

Most of the land is crown land, ( even land designated for logging ) the government allows you temporary camping privileges of up to 2 weeks on that land (you can not homestead on it) , the rest is reserved for agriculture or for First Nations. Only 5% is available for freehold housing accommodation , which is why Canada is in a housing crunch. The availability of livable land is so scarce because the land that was available when the country was born was given away to homesteaders. That meant that the land was given away in large parcels. Now it’s almost impossible to make those parcels into smaller parcels without doing what is called a “land assembly” . A land assembly means a developer buys a sum of large parcels , then applies for a permit to sub divide into a new subdivision consisting of smaller houses. Even then the smaller houses that are built will still cost a small fortune, because the developer and all the people involved take a sizeable profit from the sale of the homes.

This the hypocrisy of usa they say, they are secular but don't respect any other religion... I was born and raised in Canada and still live here (my roots are in Jamaica and Tobago). The last 5-10 years has made me so sad to see what’s happened to what was once such a great country. Canada's racial teaching with CRT (Critical Race Theory) actually makes people feel more and more divided. Whizqueen and Tinuola talk about how they didn't feel black ? till they moved to Canada, they didn't feel isolated till they moved to Canada. Cold weather, it`s punishing to my joints,not to mention dragging myself to go to work in the winter, real punishment to the spirit.A foreign passport(swiss) opened countless doors for me but I cant imagine being anywhere else than here.And if there is a day I decide to leave, it will be back to Africa but not any European country.\nWow we have minimum 4 weeks vacation here, in my working place,we all have 5 weeks and I love it.Unfortunately we can`t take the 5 weeks in one go, you have to divide it into 3 or 4= 1,2,1,1.

Anyone in Quebec would likely agree that they are the best province. However I have yet to meet anyone from outside of Quebec who would agree. Quebec seems to get the most government handouts and assistance including by means of taxing other provinces to pay for Quebec's needs. BC is going down hill as the real estate industry divides the rich and poor to a breaking point. Sask suffers from this issue too as entry level jobs are brutal, underpaid and cost of living rises insanely. Canada is screwed in a lot of ways...

I’m from Canada and I’ve been to Quebec twice. And I’ll tell you if you don’t speak French in quite a few places they will ignore you. Even in Quebec eight divided there’s a French speaking areas and then there’s English-speaking areas. Canadians rate it has the least friendliest province.

Not sure where you got your info On Quebec but, housing in Montreal is unaffordable right now with the average rent for a three and a half apt is going for 1000.00 a month. If you can even find one. There are hundreds of families being put up in hotels by the city because they can't afford the rents or no appt available because of the greedy condo developers are turning everything into useless unaffordable condo's The houses are way out of reach for most young couples because the salaries here haven't been following the cost of living. We are the highest taxed province in all of Canada. They would slap a tax on air if they could. Yes Quebec is by far the most historical and beautiful province, but the language war and the divide that this has caused doesn't make it a friendly place. And let's not even touch the healthcare system. But after watching this , Nova scotia sounds like an amazing place to live. Food for thought.
