Years ago I was looking for an apartment with my girl-friend and we looked at a great place and being white we didn't even think twice about being discriminated against. Oddly enough the woman (who happened to be middle-eastern) didn't want to rent to us because we weren't married. Just goes to show that people are silly for all sorts of reasons and none of them are good.

The thing about Islam and Muslims is that they want everyone to support and defend them\nBut in their own countries they don’t support nor defend anyone except for the people who share their religion. It’s a double standard, and they play victim when it suits them. Islam itself is very intolerant as a religion. That politician is correct but the white man needs to educate himself on Sikhs their history and culture. Mississauga is now Muslimssauga, refugees and asylum seekers cheats Canada and once they get Canadian passport they go back to Syria or Iraq for holidays then they don't face precautions or life threats. This is done routinely by Chinese people. Similar situation in Australia. What killed me is she was eligible for the Working Poor Tax Credit. It goes to show how easy these rules are to exploit. Someone could sit down and calculate exactly what they need to make, how many children they need to have, what activities to pursue etc so they can gain access to all these tax benefits. Make the most money while paying the least tax. There was an article in the nation post about this which discussed Trudeau's statement that the poor do not pay tax. It is crazy the tax credits people get and it makes it so something like close to 40% of people do not actually pay tax. Its one thing when working canadian's benefit, but not Chinese business people who come here, buy a house, maintain their status under false pretenses, then get credits for being poor.

Canada must be making a lot of money from it. China would never put up with this they would stop you from entering in a minute, or deport you. I went and viewed 3 vacant apartment in a building. Available immediately. I was ready to take one. I noticed, as we went to each apartment that they were all inhabited by Polish people. The Superintendent and the Property Manager, also Polish. I am guessing the owner was too.\nI am a single, middle aged, clean and healthy, responsible white woman. NOT polish though. After submitting my application and deposit I waited. 5 days later called and left a message, 2 days after, called again. No answer. Then, called from a Private number and they answered right away. I asked them the status of my application. We are sorry ... all three apartments taken. \nI believe I was discriminated against because I am not Polish. Oh well ... I've moved on. Found a great apartment up the street for less rent, free parking and a very welcoming atmosphere.\nLife goes on.

I know the past actions of people greatly influence lives today.As a citizen of Canada I think all of us have to accept each others culture and color..we can learn alot from each other!!Racism goes both ways..whites against blacks...black against white..this really has to stop so we can move on! I'm sick of these sob stories. Are those people really that stupid? I'm beginning to think they really are. This man had been in the States for several years according to this video. He was in the States illegally. He clearly never bothered to learn English, and it looks like that for his family too. Then he gets scared because Trump got elected and actually starts ENFORCING IMMIGRATION LAW. So he flees to Canada just because of something a really STUPID and poorly liked PM says. So he takes his family and again is expecting to be given asylum, and then does no research to find out the facts about Canada's immigration system before he goes there. Then he complains about having to spend all his money. Oh gee, did he actually think they would just give him free everything??? Clearly the threat he's complaining about in his own country is not that bad, since Canada rejected his asylum. So what does he do? He refuses to turn up for his hearing, and then he flees to another province. Totally criminal activity. Canada's immigration people need to round him up and deport him. It's his OWN FAULT he is separated from his family. HE BROKE THE LAW!!! There are CONSEQUENCES to breaking the law. Sheesh!!! I'm so sick of hearing these sob stories from these freeloaders. People should focus on building stable governments and economies in their own countries. You can't just expect the western world to continue to take in millions from failing countries. It's destroying the west. I want to preserve my own country, culture, and heritage for my children. Legal immigrants are welcome who have skills and who embrace American culture. Same goes for Europe. Enough is enough.

The irony is that in Victoria and elsewhere there is an immediate need for construction workers that goes unfulfilled. Can some of these experienced people at least be given temporary work status to fill these jobs?

There are tons of successful blacks in Canada, not all of them are like Drake's dad wo goes to prison or runs out on his family. There are plenty of successful Jamaicans in Canada that are highly successful. Jamaicans and other of African Descent are doctors, lawyers, schoolteachers, engineers, IT REPS, mechanics, accountants, biochemists, cops, and so much more. That's because they have chosen to do the right things in life. Life is all about choices. People who are successful in life, are successful because they made good choices and good decisions early on. People who are a failure in life are a failure because they made bad choices early on and life and wouldn't listen to nobody and did what they did without any regard for the consequences. Choices. That's what everything in life boils down to.

Can you show the professor to Belgium please. I prefer a Canadian over an American or a German because our racism exceeds all borders. On a daily basis I experience black racism on an unheard scale.
