I've been to the states many times! My opinion is that Americans focus on wallets more than social issues! Americans care more about their own circumstances than working together to help the whole of the population. No one likes to pay more taxes but they are a nessesary evil to be able to pay for health care, public security, and so on! So sure Americans don't pay as much for some things but pay more for things that they shouldn't pay! Health care is something that is very important, how can you be expected to pay for health services if you can't work cause you're ill, doesn't make any sence! Trump wants them to quit buying Chinese EVs. Well, anything Chinese, but I think he wants to start with EVs. I look for this to be the next chapter with Canada and Mexico. Capitalism at its finest moment.

Canada needs to get all new trading partners, they need to look to Europe, Asia, and other countries. There are other markets out there, especially in the EU, where they are no longer getting energy from Russia. Consequences? I think Canadians are suffering the consequences of failed leadership just as we have here in the US.
